Yoooooo! Hi guys! So here is chapter 13! I've read your comments, and yes! I have decided to do a sequel. I can't say if it's going to be a full on story or just a short story, but the plot is going to be relatively the same (like hunting for something). That's all I can say! Enjoy Chapter Thirteeeeeen xD

"Jack, where are we going?" Angelica whined. She was sitting on the longboat, bobbing up and down with the waves. She was cold and tired and hungry, and just wanted to get to the destination. It had been days since they escaped the convent, just narrowly missing Juan and Julio along the way.

"All in good time," he groaned, sick of her pestering. He rowed on and on for what seemed like forever. Angelica huffed and crossed her arms. Then an idea popped into her mind.

"Well now that you can't avoid it any longer, I'm going to ask a question," She didn't wait for Jack to respond. "When you dumped me on that island," she grit her teeth, "you said you loved me. You always had and always will. Was that true?" Jack mumbled something under his breath. "Hmm?" Angelica asked, hoping to get him to speak louder. Jack looked around and sat up straight.

"Look! Tortuga!" He cried happily. He turned the boat and starting rowing the oars in the direction of the pub-filled port.

. . . . . . .. . . . . . . . . . .

Pushing open the doors to Tortuga Tavern, Jack sauntered in, inhaling the scent of rum, alcohol, and sweaty, fat pirates who drank too much. Jack looked around and spotted a man holding two bottles of rum. He walked over and snatched them out of the boy's hands.

"Thank you, good lad," Jack tipped his hat while the boy looked surprised. He grumbled something and stalked off. Jack came back over to Angelica and handed her a bottle, leading her to an empty table far in a dark corner. They both sat down, making sure they were out of earshot. "Well," Jack motioned to Angelica, "put down the bloody maps."

Angelica reached into a small bag that was hanging across her shoulders and grabbed three pieces of paper. She laid them on the table, moving them into place so they could see the full route. Jack bent forward, slurping his rum. He placed a finger on a small speck of land that had the "x" marked on it.

"That's where we need to go," he said, smashing the map with his forefinger. "The island of Dominica." Angelica nodded. She tried to locate where Tortuga was, but she couldn't find any familiar destinations.

"Why isn't Tortuga on here? Or Saint Dominique?" She asked with worry, frantically moving the papers around. Jack grabbed her wrists and looked her in the eye.

"That's the point of the maps, love. Only the most skilled of pirates fully understands these. You need to locate the island by previous knowledge of the seas. Thankfully, you have just the right person to do it," Jack smirked, pointing at himself. Angelica rolled her eyes.

"Oh, please. I bet you had your father give you the answer," she spit back. Jack shook his head, avoiding her gaze.

"That's not true," he said hurriedly. Angelica laughed. Jack furrowed his eyebrows and stared at his empty rum bottle. He looked at Angelica's pleadingly. "Are you going to finish that?" He asked.

"No. And I wouldn't give it to you anyway," Angelica teased. She then proceeded to throw the bottle in the nearest waste bin, Jack's eyes following the bottle.

"Fine," he scoffed, "I'm going to get some more rum." He stood up and left, murmuring to himself about the "lack of generosity among pirates." Angelica stood up to put the maps carefully in her bag. As she was tucking them away, a strong grip grabbed her elbow, spinning her around. She came face to face with a very large pirate. He wasn't the most handsome, but he wasn't an eye burner.

"Where you goin' there, darling?" He growled seductively in his deep voice. Angelica's stomach churned at the thought of this man trying to be romantic towards her.

"None of your business," Angelica hissed back. Her eyes darted back and forth, but she wasn't worried. She had dealt with idiots like this when she just joined her father's ship. But she normally had a sword on hand to make threats.

The man grabbed her with both of his hands on her forearms and pushed her back until she hit the wooden wall with a loud thud. Angelica let out a small yelp, but kept her gaze strong and firm. He leaned in close to her face, penetrating her soul with his black, beady eyes.

"I don't think you want to mess with me, sweetie," the man said. "Do you know who I am?" He almost gave Angelica an insult.

"Some jerk who wants to pick up any poor wench desperate for a man," Angelica fought the urge to suddenly kick him. The man squeezed her arms harder and leaned in towards her ear.

"You need to choose your words more carefully around Captain Caesar," he scoffed. Angelica hoped desperately that Jack was back with the rum. Angelica tried to push back, but he was too heavy for her. She groaned in pain as he gripped her arms so tightly, his knuckles were turning white. The whole tavern was starting to gather around, talking loudly and shouting. All of a sudden, a resounding bang echoed throughout the wooden building. Captain Caesar's eyes widened as he coughed up blood, slumping onto Angelica. The tavern went silent.

Revolted, she shoved Caesar off of her, looking up to see Jack standing across from her, blowing the smoke from the tip of his pistol. She smiled thankfully at Jack when all Hell broke loose.

People started shouting and screaming, pulling out pistols and swords, ready to fight. Having t weapons, Jack and Angelica could only dodge and avoid blades and bullets. They tried to run out of the tavern, but being in the back, they had trouble making their way to the front. Finally, they were able to push past the last stampede of people before finding the doors. They raced to the exit, breathing hard. Jack grabbed a nearby keg of alcohol and threw it onto the fireplace. An explosion shook the tavern as Jack and Angelica sprinted out the door, laughing for some strange reason.

"Jack!" Angelica scolded playfully. "I can't believe you would actually do that!" She smiled as they walked towards The King's House, a nearby inn. Jack smiled ear to ear like a child just learning the concept of fire.

"I can't believe you actually enjoyed it!" He smirked, turning into the entrance of the hotel. Jack managed to throw a couple coins on the receptionist's desk, shouting a "Room for two!" Over his shoulder. He grabbed Angelica by the hand and led her up three flights of stairs, finally coming to a nice looking door, polished and gleaming. They opened the door and walked in, admiring the nice set up and furniture. Angelica saw a pair of light, cotton clothes and went to change for the first time in weeks. It felt nice to have clean clothing again. When she came out, Jack was laying on the bed, his boots, jacket and undershirt off. Angelica sat next to him.

"I want to be able to finish this quest together. And share whatever we find. Alright?" She whispered to Jack. He shrugged.

"Whatever you say," he subtly agreed, rolling over to go to sleep. And that was that.

A lot of my chapters end with Jack and Angelica going to sleep…I might be overdoing it. Oh well! I hope you enjoyed! CHAPTER 14 OMG I AM SO EXCITED FOR YOU GUYS TO READ IT I CAN ALREADY IMAGINE A FLURRY OF COMMENTS, LIKE HATING THAT CHAPTER. Hehehehehe HOPE YOU ENJOYED
