I have a big chunk of this story mapped out in my head, I need to put it down in a booklett somewhere so that I know what to do when to do it, unfortunatly, I unfortunatly lost my computer to his lack of rejectionmedication in regards to his new charger and I also managed to kill the charging circute in it so I could only use the charger otherwise the batteries would've died on me and therefore I haven't been able to get to updating this story, the chapter I was working on on my previous computer is totally gone and so I have decided to change the directions of this story. However, couples will end up the same way as in the previous direction. I also noticed that I had made a mistake in the previous chapter, Steffy and Phoebe were 18 during the beginning of Ticky, not 20 and also, I will be SORASing Hope, Aly and RJ and not have them as young and put them in their early teens, remember, they were born within a 3 year timespan on the show and therefore they will still be in that timespan. So they'll be 15, 14 and 13. Meaning Hope has just started High School. Oooooh, Liam is coming soon!
Anyway, none of the characters that are on the show are mine, only those that I'll create myself and I don't own B&B either!
Chapter 2
Three months later
After Taylor had woken up, life turned back to the way it should've been before the coma. Taylor and Nicks marriage was going strong, Steffy managed to finish all of her classes and graduate prematurely because of her endless smarts, Phoebes perfume and make up line are a huge success, Thomas has started on designing his own line of menswear of the early 20ies something and having a great start in his career, Ridge has just started dating Ashley leading to Thomas meeting Ashleys daughter Abby(Hayley Erins version of Abby(I like the way they look together)), creating a wirlwind romance likely to end in a life long commitment with marriage and kids on the horizon, although problems are due to arise considering what family Thomas belongs to. Life was good to most of the Forrester familymembers, even Bridget had found romance, maybe not outside of the family circle, but since neither of her siblings or parents were related to in some strange way or been married to them in the past it wasn't that big of a deal. When Bridget turned 25 a few weeks ago, she met this handsome dark stranger who turned out not to be such a stranger, atleast not to Taylor and her kids because the moment Bridget showed up with him to a Forrester-family dinner that Taylor and Nick were invited to along with Owen and Jackie, Taylor started crying with happiness to see who it was coming through the door although she was not comprehending that he came with Bridget at first(and here is where the story starts).
Bridget had just opened the door and walked in as Steffy turned around to take a look at who was coming. 'Bridget, you're here! I've missed you, how was London, did you get to do everything you wanted too?' 'Yes, I did, and I even brought home some souveniers, have them in the bag right here! Although one is currently trying to not get lost in the front yard.' Bridget answered. 'Who, what, why?' 'Well, I brought my friend with me and he seems to have vanished cause I can't see him anymore' 'That's cause I'm right behind you, I finally made it through the maze out front!' Steffy recognized that voice anywhere and it was because she had been living with him ever since she moved to England and shocked Bridget when she ran up to him, jumped into his arms and wrapped her legs around him hugging him almost to death. 'Do you two know each other?' Bridget asked. Steffy and the mystery man looked at eachother and just smiled. The trio then started to move towards the dinnertable and as the came close Steffy said 'Look who I found at the door!'
Everyone turned their heads to look at the newcomers and Phoebe, Thomas and Taylor had these huge smiles on their faces and Taylor got up, went over to hug him and as Phoebe said 'Uncle Zach' everything made perfect sense to Bridget(*1). ' How have you been Zach? How's London since Steffy left?' Taylor asked. 'I've been good, missed the niece and London has been pretty interesting these last months, especially since I met this one right here' Zach said pointing to Bridget. Taylor looking confused asked 'How so?' and then Bridget and Zach looked at each other and Taylor just knew why. The look between them was the same one that Taylor and Nick had everytime they looked at each other and the same look that Taylor had seen on Steffy and Liams face when they looked at each other back in Dreamland. 'Oh, you've fallen for Bridget Forrester, that is great! Watch out for her mother though, she's got a history of sleeping with her in-laws' 'But Taylor' Bridget started until Taylor started talking again 'Oh, that's right, you weren't in Dreamland, but hey, she's done it with two of your husbands Bridget and concieved a child with one of them.' 'Yeah, right, she did, maybe we should keep the Mother/Brooke-talk to a minimum.' Bridget asked. 'Anyway, before we stop, what did mother do in Dreamland as you called it?'
To this Taylor asked if Bridget was sure she wanted to know and when Bridget said yes, Taylor repeated everything she had told Brooke and Ridge yesterday also adding the fact that Brooke had gotten pregnant from this encounter and that Bill and Brooke moved in together and got engaged. 'Taylor, you didn't tell me this before', 'Well, it's not exactly something that I'm proud of 'knowing'.' The fact that Brooke could do this to her sister is mindboggling'. 'Well, Bridget it has happened before, more than once. She did it to your grandmother, she did it to you and she's done it to Donna, right before her very eyes! It was just a matter of time before it happened to Hope and Katie.'[*2] 'Now that that's out of the way, Taylor, could you tell me what I named my son?' 'You named him after your mother, aunts, uncle and grandparents, Bridget, you named him Logan' 'Was he beautiful?' Bridget asked at that with tears forming in her eyes, while remembering her daughter. 'Yes, he was gorgeous, eventhough we hadn't seen him in a while after you left for New York with Owen and Jackie, maybe two years after all this Nick decided to leave LA too and we had no idea where he went, he took Jack with him though and neither Brooke nor I had seen him since.'
'Oh, I had almost forgotten this, but Stephanie, I wanted to say that I'm very sorry for my relationship with Eric both back when Rick was young and in Dreamland.' 'Well, it's not like we were married either of the times and you did back away after you found out I still wanted him, unlike someone else I know, you also have a tendensy to think about what the man wants, as well as what the other woman wants and not just what you want so that's not a problem with me. You are my best friend and the greatest daughter in law I could've asked for for either of my sons, although both Caroline and Darla were pretty great too. It's a shame I didn't have a third son so that you all could've been my daughter in law at the same time and the fact that Caroline died from cancer.'
' Aren't you forgetting someone now Stephanie?' Someone asked from the door and everyone turned around to see Sally Spectra getting wheeled in accompanied by Kimberly and Adam Fairchild. 'Yes, I do believe I am aren't I? The greatest Redheaded singer there ever was, Macy Alexander', at the mention of Macy, everyone fell silent and took a moment to remember all the women that had been in their lives and lost their lifes either to illness or accidents. 'We've lost so many good women in the past haven't we?' At this everyone was shocked when Sally stated, 'And who is this gorgeous handsome stranger?' ' Well, this is my boyfriend' Bridget stated at the same time that Taylor, Steffy and Thomas stated ' Oh, he's my brother/uncle Zach' Zach also answered ' I'm related to five people at this table and then I met this gorgeous blond over here and fell for her' 'Oh, and who is this little guy?' That little guy right there is my Honorary grandson Jack Hamilton Marone' Stephanie stated and Sally said 'Huuh?'
'Well, he's Taylor and Nicks son and therefore he is my honorary grandson, since Taylor has been my best friend and I feel like she's one of my daughters' 'Oh, I thought maybe he was Bridgets, I mean, she was pregnant before right?' Sally asked directing the question to Bridget and Bridget answered with a sad look on her face 'Yeah, I was, but due to problems with my uterus ability to keep the baby safe and a fall off a chair, unfortunatly we lost her, both Nick and I were devastated, but it all worked out fine in the end, I met this amazing guy, Nick fell for Taylor and had a son, maybe one more could be coming in the future? And my future looks amazing since I have finally chosen a speciallity and that I have done to honor two of the greatest women in my life, eventhough I never met one of them. I have chosen oncology[*3] and I plan on discover the cure for all types of cancer and ways to prevent them from happening.'
'We'll stand behind you in every way we can, Bridget, funding and all!' Taylor and Stephanie said after looking at each other and just knowing what the other one meant. At this, Nick, Zach, Eric, Sally and Adam agreed. Kimberly had also noticed the handsome man sitting at the table, but after discovering who she really was just saw a handsome man sitting at the table, she knew though that telling her honorary aunt would be difficult and when she realized that Taylor was a psycologist, she asked if Taylor could lend her an ear to her problems later next week, Taylor agreed and decided that they should meet on Tuesday.
When the curly haired 19 year old sitting at the table turned her head though Kimberly was completely floored and almost lost her breath at the beautiful sight in front of her. The blue eyed blond in question had the same reaction looking at Kimberly. For some reason, Taylor noticed that there were sparks in the air and that they didn't come from any of the couples at the table and looked around seeing that Kimberly and her daughters eyes were locked in a staring match and she had a feeling that this might have something to do with what Kimberly wanted to talk to her about, she also knew that these new feelings her daughter was discovering were something that she had to explore on her own before she came to Taylor about it. Taylor knew though that the electricity that erupted from the first glance between the two that Phoebe might just have met the one she was supposed to be with although she might not know it yet. Drama was to begin though when Rick found out Kimberly was back in town.
Rick Forrester had turned down his fathers invitation to the family dinner that was happening since he believed that there was just too many Hamiltons and Marone coming to it. For the last couple of years he had felt more like a Logan than a Forrester and he just couldn't understand why, but he reasoned that since it felt good, he didn't mind it. He knew though that Bridget was going right there after landing coming back from London and he had missed his second to youngest sister alot since she left and this is the reason why he had decided that he was going to stop by for a short visit. As he walked through the door and saw a bushy mass of red hair, long brown hair and his sister sitting next to a man he had met in his early teens but couldn't quite place and heard everyone agree to stand by Bridget in her latest dream in anyway they could. He was a little perplexed though as to who the woman with the long brown hair was until she decided to ask Taylor if she could help her out with a little issue she was having and the two of them deciding to meet up on Tuesday. He had flashbacks back to his late teens early twenties and his marriage to Amber all the while having feelings for someone else.
Thomas was the first to notice Rick had arrived and Abby noticed right away that something changed in Thomas as he tensed up and huffed, she took his hand and gave it a light squeeze to try and comfort him in a way and he relaxed, Thomas had always felt like Rick somehow was going to try and cause problems for him and Abby and although he knew that his family had his back, he somehow felt like Ricks Loganside would erupt and try to take Abby away from him like he had done with Caitlin. But as he noticed how Rick changed the moment he noticed Kimberly he finally felt like he could put those worries to rest and maybe bury the hatchet, this would flare up the moment he realized that his sister was hurting because of Ricks unwillingness to let go and just leave well alone.
Bridget was the third one to notice Ricks presence and she also noticed that he was very quiet for being who he was to her, Rick had always been very vocal about stuff when he arrived, but she attributed his silence to the fact that there were so many people there and he was trying to figure out who everyone was. She got up and said 'Hey Rick, so you decided to show up? How you been?' Giving Bridget a hug, he said, 'Yeah, I decided to come to welcome you back, but apparently you've got quite the welcome party without me!' 'Well, you know, I'm very liked in this family' Bridget jokingly said and lightly nudged Ricks side. Eric had been watching the exchange and was happy that some of his children were getting along although his oldest and second to youngest weren't getting along at all due to his youngests mother being at odds with his oldest son since her fall out with Ridge and the history of Brooke and Ridges past relationship, he knew though that at one point, he was going to have to tell Rick what he didn't know about that same history and not just what his mother had told him.
'Do you know who everyone is yet?' Bridget asked and Rick answered, ' Yeah, pretty much, however, I know I've met him before, but I don't really know when.' 'Well, that's Zach Ham...' Zach Hamilton? Felicia's ex[*4]?' 'Yeah, and Zach Hamilton as in Taylor's brother Zach Hamilton, he came with me since we're dating now.' 'Bridget, really, Taylor's brother? What's mom gonna think about this?' 'Well, you know Rick, since my mother has decided to destroy both of my previous marriages, I really don't think she should have a say in my dating life! I love him, he loves me and my mother is not going to come between us, no matter how hard she tries.'
We all know Brooke will try though don't we? It's just in her blood, she's seen Bridget as a threat ever since she turned 18.
I've got drama coming up for two current couples and characters on the way into the story. Generation 1 drama, Generation 2 drama, Generation 2½ drama and Generation 3 drama. It'll be all over the place.
([*1]I've always wanted to pair Zach and Bridget together, yes, Zach is a member of the BRTTKFDSK-generation, but I've always pitured him to be atleast 15 years younger than Taylor somehow and besides, even if he isn't, it's my story and I can do what I want with it.)
([*2] You are probably wondering when Brooke did it to Donna? Back when Dridge were dating and Bricky were married after Brooke had stolen Nick away from Bridget the first time.)
