World 1-2: Building Bridges

Mount Lineland (Super Paper Mario)

They looked at the mountain in front of them. "That's a big mountain..." Sora said.

"Well, I've climbed tons of mountains." Mario said. "This should be nothing." He said as they started climbing while dealing with the Koopas and Paratroopas.

As they were climbing, Mario noticed something. "What in the world?" He wondered as he flipped to the second dimension to check it out.

"This mountain climbing feels a bit...too easy." Lightning said.

"What makes you say that?" Sora asked.

"I feel as if there's gonna be something waiting for us at the top of the mountain."

"All I'm detecting is a Pure Heart." Tippi said. "Nothing about any danger whatsoever."

"Well...I still have a feeling." Lightning muttered.

"Has anyone seen a plumber around?" Sora asked. "He just disappeared on us."

"Now that you mention it, I haven't seen him since we started climbing." Lightning said as they kept climbing until they saw Mario waiting for them.

"What took you so long?" He asked, smiling innocently.

"Huh? How did you...?" Sora looked at him. "Do you have teleportation powers that we didn't know about?"

"I saw something interesting so I went in the second dimension to look for myself...suddenly I was transported over here." Mario explained, but the three of them just looked at him in confusion.

"This is starting to confuse me..." Lightning said.

"Same here." Sora nodded in agreement before they started walking again, only to see Spiny Tromps rolling towards them. "What the heck?!"

"Those are called Spiny Tromps...and they're invincible so we have to avoid them." Tippi said.

"I TOLD you it was too easy." Lightning said. "Those Koopas and Paratroopas were nothing like this." She said as Mario began jumping up high to avoid them...and then Sora used Stopza on all of them as a Spiny Tromp stopped RIGHT where Mario was gonna land.

"Uh oh..." Sora said, as Mario's foot landed RIGHT on the spike.

"YOOOOW!" Mario yelled in pain as they quickly ran to him and Lightning used Curaga on him.

"Nice going." Lightning told him.

"I didn't think it'd stop right there." Sora shrugged. "Sorry, dude."

"It's fine..." Mario said, rubbing his foot as they kept on going until they came across a town. "Well how about that?"

"Hmm, I'm picking up something else other than the Pure Heart..." Tippi said. "But what is it?" She wondered as they noticed a canyon down below with no bridge to cross.

"Well how are we gonna cross THIS?" Lightning asked.

"Find someone who can build a bridge." Tippi said as she saw a house not too far off. "Hey! We can go there." She said and took off.

"Uh...I could just summon Tinker Bell..." Sora said.

"Never mind the fairy, let's see where she's going." Lightning said as the trio took off to the house and then entered it.

"Anyone here?" Sora asked. "Hello?"

"I don't think anyone's here." Lightning said as she noticed a switch. "Hello, what's this?" She wondered as she looked at it with a sign above it. "Switch to open the bridge." She read. "Well, I think we found a way to open the bridge."

Mario noticed something. "Hmm?" He wondered as he went into the second dimension to figure it out.

"Whoa! Where did you come from?" A voice exclaimed as Mario spotted a man in the second dimension.

Laughter and Merriment (Kingdom Hearts II)

"Who are you?" Mario asked.

"I'm Red the Bridgemaster, and I woke up one morning in the second dimension...I have NO idea how this happened. I try calling for help, but nothing. I couldn't get out of this dang house! Just when I thought I'd be here forever, you pop up out of nowhere."

"Huh..."

"So uh...is there any way to get me out of this dang dimension?"

"I can probably take you with me." Mario said. "We're trying to get into town."

"Oh! Alright, I'll help you...but uh...first...what's your favorite color?"

"Uh...red?"

"Alright." He nodded as Mario went back to the third dimension with Red. "Oh sweet freedom!"

"What the?!" Sora and Lightning exclaimed. "Can you at LEAST give us a warning when you're about to go to the second dimension?" Sora asked.

"Where's the fun in that?" Mario chuckled as Red turned the switch as the bridge opened up outside.

"Alright, the bridge is set. See y'all later!" Red waved before they walked out the door.

Mount Lineland

"What was that all about?" Lightning wondered.

"He suddenly got trapped in the second dimension." Mario said as he explained everything as they rolled into town.

"Weird..." Sora said as they looked around town until they saw another bridge that is currently out. "Oh great..."

"I guess we'll have to find someone who can help us across." Lightning said and glanced at Sora. "Without the help of Tinker Bell..."

"She helped us defeat that Heartless in Keelhaul Key." Sora said. "Oh well..." He said as they went into a house where they spotted a warp pipe.

"Oh sweet, a warp pipe!" Mario exclaimed as he hopped in as Sora and Lightning hopped in too as they came out to see Thwomps slamming down on the ground as Sora simple used Stopza on them. "Nice thinking."

"Thanks." Sora nodded as they walked passed and walked through the door...and then they got locked in. "Uh oh..."

"Well now what?" Lightning asked.

"There's a treasure chest." Mario said as he opened it up. "Maybe we can find a boomerang or a hook shot..."

"SWEET FREEDOOOOOOM!"

"Or a talking WHATEVER THE HECK THIS THING IS!" Mario yelled as a Pixl came out.

Strange Company (Super Paper Mario)

"Woohoo! I'm glad I got out of there!"

"Uh...are you a pixl?" Tippi asked.

"Yes, I am." It replied. "The name's Thoreau. Nice to meet ya! I've been in that box for a really long time!" He exclaimed.

"How long?" Sora asked.

"Too long! I'm glad I got out of there!" Thoreau exclaimed. "So, it seems like you got yourself locked in! Maybe I can help you...I can reach that switch over there if you throw me!"

"Switch?" Lightning asked as she looked at it. "How come we didn't see it?"

"I dunno." Sora replied as they both used Thundaga as the lock on the door disappeared.

"Or that works too..." Thoreau said. "Anyways...ONWARD TO FREEDOOOOM!" He yelled as they quickly got out of building a minute later.

Mount Lineland

"Ah, the good ol' air. I missed that." Thoreau said as they walked to another house where an old man was sitting inside.

"Hmm?" The old man looked at them. "Who are you? You better watch it!"

"We're looking for the mayor of this place because...quite honestly...we have no clue how to get across that canyon over there." Sora said.

"I'm the mayor of this here town. The name's Old Man Watchitt." He said. "What business do you have over there?" He asked.

"Finding a Pure Heart." Tippi explained.

"Ah, a Pure Heart in the Yold Ruins, eh? Well...YOU CAN'T GO THERE!"

"And why not?" Lightning asked.

"It's filled with monsters and unless y'all have a Pixl that can grab things, ya ain't going nowhere!"

"Um...excuse me." Thoreau revealed himself. "I'm RIGHT here."

"Oh! You got that Pixl? Well what am I doing standing around here wasting your time? I'll call Green." He said and he pulled out a cell phone. "Hello, Green? It's me, Watchitt. ...Watchitt. WATCHITT. Not botch it! Get yourself together! ...Yeah, I know...but these couple of kids wants to get going to the Yold Ruins. ...Alright, I'll tell 'em." He hung up.

"Well?" Tippi asked.

"He'll let you through. Just go to his house and he'll set you up." Watchitt said. "But before you go...I have a little advice for you. I advise you to watch yourselves before you go get yourselves hurt! So watch it, ya hear?"

"Right." Sora nodded as they walked to Green's house and they walked in.

"Well howdy!" Green exclaimed. "I'll set up the bridge for ya!" He smiled and then flipped the switch.

"Well thanks." Mario said.

"No pro-...wait a second..." Green took a look at them. "You're wearing red...and if you're wearing red...that means ALL of you are associated with my brother, Red!"

"Uh, what's with the attitude change?" Lightning asked.

"GET OUT OF MY HOUSE!" He yelled as she shoved the three of them in a cannon and shot them out straight over the other side of down, as the two Pixls sweatdropped.

"Well that was overkill..." Thoreau said.

"Remind me to never wear red in THIS house." Tippi said as they flew out the open window.

World 1-3: Chunk on it!

Thoreau and Tippi flew around looking for the trio until they saw the three of them knocked out in the sand. "Ah, there they are." Tippi said as they went over to the three of them.

"Yo, you alive?" Thoreau asked as the three of them got out as Mario shook sand out of his hat. "Yep, they're alive."

"That was a little extreme..." Sora muttered.

"Ugh, great...I got sand in my hair." Lightning said.

Mario noticed a ? block in the distance as he curiously hit it, as a red flower came up. "Oh! A Fire Flower!" He exclaimed as he hopped up to get it...but he didn't change. "Weird..." He said as he hopped down and then immediately took off, leaving the four of them in the dust.

"Well he's off in a hurry." Thoreau said.

"What the heck?" Sora asked.

"That was a Speed Flower. If you pick it up, you go really fast for a short amount of time." Tippi explained.

"Well I hope he's not too reckless." Lightning said as they kept on walking, looking at the knocked out Goombas, Bald Clefts, and a knocked out Jawbus.

"Yeah, I guess that doesn't qualify as TOO reckless." Sora said, rolling his eyes as they noticed Mario jumping up under a red tree several times. "What is he doing?"

"Jumping like a maniac, that's what he's doing." Lightning replied as they walked to Mario who was back to normal speed.

"What took YOU guys so long?" Mario asked.

"You picked up a Speed Flower." Tippi said and explained the effects.

"Ah..." Mario nodded as a door appeared near them. "There we go." He said as he walked in as the others followed.

"So what did it feel like going really fast?" Lightning asked.

"I didn't feel any different." Mario said. "Everything was just going really slow..."

"Ah..." Sora nodded as they took out any Icy Cherbil, Squiglets or Spiked Goombas with the help of Tippi explaining what they are as they eventually came up to a warp pipe as they hopped in.

As they came out, they looked around for a little bit. "EY! I'VE FOUND YA!" A voice yelled as a man landed right in front of them.

Villains of a Sort (Kingdom Hearts)

"Who the heck are you?" Sora asked.

"The name's O'Chunks!" He replied. "And I'm gonna give ya a real beaten for crossin' the Count!"

"I knew it...you're one of his minions." Tippi said.

"Ah, I prefer the term 'friend'." O'Chunks corrected. "But I'm gonna give ya a good chunkin' before you realize what hit ya!"

"Uh..." Lightning tilted her head before taking out her sword. "I've met weird people in the Glitz Pit, but you're weirder than THEM."

"Thank you for the compliment, lass." O'Chunks said. "Now...LET'S GET THIS CHUNKIN' GOING!" He exclaimed.

Rowdy Rumble (Kingdom Hearts II)

Mario ran up to O'Chunks and jumped up, aiming to land on his head but he grabbed Mario and threw him to the ground and then jumped to land on him, but Mario rolled out of the way and then pulled out a Fire Flower from his pocket and then threw fireballs at him, but O'Chunks jumped to the side as Lightning slashed him several times, but he blocked and then punched her to a tree.

"Heal!" Sora exclaimed as he used Curaga on Lightning.

"Thanks..." Lightning said as she glared at O'Chunks. "She messed with the wrong girl..." She said and put her hand close to her heart and closed her eyes.

"FREEZE!" Sora yelled, using Blizzaga on O'Chunks.

"Ha! You can't even hurt me!" He smirked. "It's time to finish all of ya once and fo-" A fist hit him directly in the chest. "Yow!"

A man cracked his fists. "Hmph...you're really cocky, you know that?" He asked.

"Ah...and who are you?" O'Chunks asked.

"The name's Snow." He said. "The man that's going to kick your butt." He said as he was soon joined by Mario, Lightning and Sora. "Let's do this."

"Bring it." O'Chunks smirked as he charged straight for them but Sora used Aerial Slam on him as Snow punched him directly to the same tree as Lightning used Thundaga on him while Mario threw fireballs at him. "Argh, lucky hits ya got there...but you'll still get a proper chunking!"

"This dude is really weird..." Snow said.

"Tell me about it." Lightning muttered.

Sora used Sonic Blade on O'Chunks and then slashed him upward as Lightning jumped up and slashed him down where Snow was waiting and then used a powerful uppercut on him, sending him high into the sky...and then faceplanted. "I'm not done with ya...not by a lo-" Mario landed RIGHT on top of his head, knocking him out.

"You were saying?" Mario asked smiling and then high fived them all.

Mount Lineland

"Argh..." O'Chunks muttered as he got up. "I've been chunked by four people...and I know the guy named Snow..." He muttered. "Tell me...who are you?"

"Mario."

"Sora."

"Lightning."

"So...your names are... Maria, Sarah and...Light?"

"MARIA?!" Mario yelled.

Sora blushed in embarrassment. "I thought we were DONE with that..."

"Eh, close enough." Lightning shrugged.

Is this guy deaf? Snow wondered.

"I went easy on ya..." O'Chunks said. "But hear this, Maria, Sarah and Light...I WILL come back and chunk ya...remember that!" He exclaimed and then he took off.

"Well...that was interesting." Snow said. "Oh well, what are you gonna do?"

"Thanks for the help, Snow." Lightning said.

"Any time. See ya later." He waved before disappearing.

"Well, let's keep going." Tippi said as they kept on going until they came across the entrance to Yold Ruins, but it was locked. "Okay, we need a find a way in."

Sora summoned his Keyblade as a Keyhole appeared in front of it. "Leave it to me." He said, firing a beam of light at it as the keyhole disappeared and then the entrance opened up.

"That's awesome." Thoreau said.

"Let's go." Sora said as they nodded and then walked into the ruins.
