World 5-4: Storming the Lair

Floro Sapien Caverns (Super Paper Mario)

"Alright, where did that Cragley guy go to?" Lightning wondered.

"I dunno..." Sora shrugged. "But I assume we're getting closer to Croacus' lair." He said as they continued walking until they saw a possessed Crag walking to some sort of machine, was scanned and kept going into a door.

"What was that all about?" Kairi wondered.

"I dunno." Lucina said as Sora went on through, only to be rejected and literally thrown out, knocking Lightning and Kairi to the ground.

"Ooof!" Sora exclaimed as he jumped back. "What was that for?!"

"Interesting..." Samus said. "The only way through is if we have something that causes us to be possessed."

"Well what are we gonna do now?" Kairi asked as they got up.

"Find whatever it is that possesses those Crags." Shulk said as they walked around the caverns until they discovered a door and walked in.

"Ah geez! We've been found!" A voice exclaimed as they spotted a non-possessed Crag and a pixl near him.

"Yes...it seems like we've indeed to be found." The pixl said.

"Uh...hi." Mario said.

"Don't hurt us! I don't want to be possessed!"

"Gabbro...they're not one of them." The pixl comforted him. "They don't have those sprouts on their heads."

"Oh..."

"Sprouts...?" Bowser blinked.

"Well, in that case...nice to meet you." Gabbro greeted. "This little thing right here is a pixl and her name is Dottie. We've been friends for a long time and we are inseparable!"

"That is...until now." Dottie spoke up.

"Huh?"

"You see...I was only made to be with the heroes." Dottie explained. "And since I can sense that those guys are the heroes..." She glanced at Samus, Duck Hunt, Rosalina, Kirby, Lucina and Shulk. "...Most of them, this is where we part ways."

"B-but...I don't want to leave you!"

"You have to." Dottie said. "Now go back to your home." She said as she shrunk him down to size as he ran off.

"Did he just shrink?" Lightning asked.

"Well...at least we know about her power." Tippi said as Dottie flew up to them.

"So...shall we get going?" Dottie asked.

After they got out with the help of Dottie, they were walking around trying to figure out how to get a Floro Sprout on their head while trying to avoid any brainwashed Crags that would've attacked them. "So we try to find a Floro Sprout...but where would we find one?" Kairi wondered.

"I dunno." Sora shrugged. "I guess we keep looking."

"Ahahaha...so you've made it." A voice said as they looked to see Dimentio floating above with O'Chunks standing right there, his arms folded and having a Floro Sprout on his head. "Alright, go attack them...O'Cabbage."

Laughter and Merriment (Kingdom Hearts II)

"...O'Cabbage?" Tippi asked.

"BROCCOLI!" O'Chunks...or...O'Cabbage yelled, causing them to sweatdrop and getting ready to attack the possessed crazy head.

"Really? This dance again?" Bowser asked as he looked at the others as they shrugged as they quickly beat him up, no matter how faster he was as Dimentio seatdropped.

"Well, that went over quick." Dimentio blinked.

"Argh..." O'Chunks rubbed his head as the Floro Sprout came off. "What in the world happened?" He wondered and then saw the others. "You! Alright, that's it...i'm gonna wipe the floor with ya!"

They got ready for battle again, but O'Chunks suddenly backed down. "I don't know why...but I feel kinda bad and beat up. I'll let this one slide this time." He said. "Next time we meet, I'll destroy ya! 'Till next time!" He exclaimed as he took off.

They looked at the Floro Sprout. "Only one Floro Sprout." Sora said.

"That means only one can go through the security system." Lightning said as they all looked at each other before dog piling to grab it.

Rowdy Rumble (Kingdom Hearts II)

"THIS IS MINE!" Shulk yelled as he took it from them and was about to place it on his head, but Kirby sucked it up and grabbed it.

"Poyo!" Kirby giggled before running off, but Kairi and Lightning tackled Kirby to the ground as it rolled over to Link as he took it.

"Later!" Link waved as he tried to run off, but Sora used Stopza on the Hero of Time as he took it from his hand.

"Mine." Sora smirked, only to get head butted by Duck Hunt as the duck took the Floro Sprout and was about to place it on the dog's head, but Samus blasted them away as she deactivated her armor and picked it up.

"You boys need to calm down...because I'm placing it on my he-" Polari took it from her hand. "...HEY!"

"Polari, I'm wide open!" Rosalina waved her hands as Polari threw it, only for Lucina to dive after it at the same time as Peach, causing both to accidentally head butt each other while Mario went over the girls and grabbed it.

"Oh no you don't, plumber!" Bowser exclaimed as he rolled over to Mario, but he jumped up to avoid it, only for Kairi to use Strike Raid on Mario to hit him, but when the Keyblade came back, Sora used Graviga on the Keyblade to make it stop short, but Lucina took it.

"Ha!" She laughed, only to get paralyzed by Samus as she grabbed it.

"I don't think so."

During all this chaos, Dimentio was hanging back with a random bag of popcorn. "I wonder what it'd be like if they were in a shopping mall together during the holidays..." He chuckled.

Link grabbed the Floro Sprout with a bottle and trapped it. "Got ya!" He smirked, but Peach whacked him on the head with a golf club, causing him to fall to the ground and shatter the bottle as Peach picked it up.

"Thank you very much." Peach giggled but Lightning yanked it out of Peach's hand, only to be tackled to the ground by Bowser as he picked it up and placed it on his nose.

"Suckers!" Bowser laughed as he ran straight to the security system as the others tried to follow him, but he managed to get through it as he turned around.

"Hey!" Link exclaimed.

"Later, losers!" Bowser laughed as he walked through the door while throwing the Floro Sprout away.

"Okay, there's got to be an alternative way through this." Lucina said as Samus went back into her armor.

"Stand back." She said, aiming her cannon at the security system.

Floro Sapien Caverns

"Heh, I gotta thank the Wii Fit Trainer the next time I see her." Bowser chuckled as he walked around the lair, looking at the various pictures. "What in the world...?" He wondered as he looked at them. "King Croacus I, King Croacus II, King Croacus III...and now King Croacus IV." He blinked. "Huh..."

Suddenly, he heard an explosion as he turned around to see everyone running up to him. "How did you get passed the security?!" He asked.

"Zero Laser." Samus replied.

"Well whatever...take a look at this." He said, pointing to the paintings.

"Whoa..." Lucina looked at it.

"So we're going to deal with the fourth king...alright." Shulk nodded as they went to the next room.

"Who dares to enter my lair?" A voice asked as they saw King Croacus in front of them.

Villains of a Sort (Kingdom Hearts)

"So you're the big bad Croacus huh?" Bowser smirked. "Well you are about to be roasted by yours truly!"

"So it was you who was causing that ruckus? So be it...I have no choice but to dispose of you!" He exclaimed as they all got in battle positions. "En garde!"

You Will Know Our Names (Xenoblade Chronicles)

"FIRE!" Sora yelled, using Firaga with Kairi and Lightning while Bowser breathed fire, but King Croacus simply hid behind his petals as it surprisingly didn't burn. "You're kidding..." He said.

"That is some mighty defense system he's got." Bowser said as Thoreau picked up a head and threw it at King Croacus when his head was exposed.

"Ow! How dare you hurt my pretty face!" He exclaimed as the small heads attempted to slam down, but Kirby floated up while Duck Hunt threw a clay pigeon at the face as Kirby used Hammer Flip. "My face! You'll pay for that!"

"All he cares about is his face?" Link blinked. "Alright, this is the strangest plant enemy I have ever come across." He said as he fired arrows at King Croacus's face.

"Alright, that's it! Time to get personal!" King Croacus exclaimed as his own head detached from his body and moved to them, firing multiple petals at them.

"I see it..." Shulk said after going into the Buster art, and then using Vision to counter attack as Polari was sent to King Croacus and slammed into the head.

"It feels weird attacking a plant..." Polari said.

King Croacus shielded himself. "Can't hit me now!" He exclaimed as Lucina charged up Shield Breaker and used it, as it shattered the shield. "No way!"

"Ha!" Bowser exclaimed as he breathed fire at the plant as he screamed in pain until he fell to the ground in defeat.

"Oh yeah!" Sora exclaimed as he high fived everyone.

"NOOOO! KING CROACUS!" A voice yelled as they saw a couple of Floro Sapiens running up to their king.

Organization XIII (Kingdom Hearts II)

"Uh..." Sora blinked.

"You guys don't understand, do you?" One of the Floro Sapiens glared at them. "King Croacus did all this because the Crags were polluting our water! We had to DRINK that crap!"

"Aha! So the mystery has been solved!" A voice exclaimed as Flint Cragley and his crew walked in.

"Where did he come from?" Mario asked.

"I suggest we make a proposal." Flint said. "We don't pollute the water anymore and you set our fellow Crags free."

"That sounds like a great idea." One of the Floro Sapiens said.

"I'm down for that. We don't have to be at war with each other anymore." Another pointed out.

"I guess this had to deal with the pollution and the environment..." Lucina said.

"Well, another reason to take care of it, I suppose." Shulk said as they walked away from King Croacus's lair.
