That was all 300 years ago. Merida was the same girl she was back then. She still had her Scottish accent and a fiery hair due to match her personality. However that hair due was a few shades of red deeper and instead of her lake blue eyes, she had magenta eyes to symbolize her job. She was one of the many helper of Cupid and she held the title as being 'the number one helper'. She also had decided to take on a more 'modern' look, much to her mother's dislike. She was wearing a white long sleeved shirt, bright red jeans, and a pair of golden color ghillies (1). She still had her waist belt (a/n: the one in her merchandise design, or 'new look') and it was a golden color.
Merida was sitting in a tree, staring up at the moon. All she remembered was waking up in a castle in the sky and being greeted by a woman with pink hair and red ruby eyes, who was wearing a long white gown. There was also a man with the same features as she, and so were the three triplets. They had told her that they were going to take her in, and they had been living in the replica of the kingdom they never remembered. Given as they are oblivious to the fact that they were actually blood family in a different life, they still acted like the family they always were. The day they found each other had been centuries ago.
Her thoughts were cleared when she heard sobbing. Turning her head to the left, she sees a woman with blonde hair tied in a high ponytail crying on the park bench. A few yards away from her was a man walking in her direction. She smirks, drawing her bow and arrow, and aimed for the man's heart. She released as soon as he walked right in front of the weeping woman. The man looks down at the woman and sits next her. The woman hugs the man while crying, explaining her story. The man smiles and takes her hand and the newfound couple walks towards the exit of the park, hand in hand. Merida smiles at her work.
She spreads her white feathery wings and takes flight to the skies, returning to her home

Merida lands in front of her home, which was an exact replica of her castle. It was just like it, inside and out. When Elinor catches sight of her, she waves her hand to catch the redhead's attention. "Oi! Merida! Come here, I wish to talk to you for a minute or two.
Merida strides over to her mother "Ya?"
"I've talked to a few guardians-"
*groan*
"Merida, when is the time you will accept the fact that you are destined to become a guardian?"
When Fergus and the triplets step into the room, this is what they heard-
"When are you going to accept that I don't want to be a guardian?"
He quickly shoos the boys out of the room and close the door. When the girls argued, it was best not to stand in the same room as them, otherwise an arrow will come hurdling your way.
"Look, all I want is my freedom! I don't want to be tied down to a responsibility like that!"
"Merida, it is your duty, your fate to-"
"How did you decide my fate?"
"Because "Cupid's number one helper" is not supposed to be a lazy, arrogant, selfish girl who thinks she's smart enough to know what's best for herself!"
Merida lets out a chocked gasp. Before a single tear fell, she stormed out the castle's exit, without turning her head to her mother's calls.

Merida wandered the alley ways of Burgess, still fired up about the argument. Usually when they have fights like this, she doesn't return home until the next day. Every can or rock she kicked, it was set a flames into ashes. She didn't know whether to scream or cry. For some reason it seemed like nothing if someone else insults her, but her own mother? "Ugh, she's been doing this for a long time. Damn..." She groans aloud as she smacks her face with her hand. Then she heard a voice that was laced with a thick Australian accent. "Family troubles, eh?" the voice lets out a huff. "I remember what THAT was like." the redhead turns her attention to the voice, and sees a shadow with...bunny ears? She grabs her flaming bow and arrow anyways and aims for the strange shadowed figure. But before she can release, everything was dark, as if her eyes were covered. It felt like she was inside something, like a bag or sac. She kicks and tries to escape, to no avail.[/p][hr][p]The sac that contained Merida was lazily tossed on the floor, which made the fiery redhead grunt. Merida didn't know what she was feeling right now. Anger, confusion, and...slightly hungry. She crawled out of the sac and into a place that looks like...a workshop? Yetis carrying small toys and one elf chasing another with a pilfered cookie was the sight in front of her now. From her left, a booming Russian voice had rang in her ears.
"Ze girl has arrived!" He was dressed clad in red, and a large white beard. Was this...Santa Clause? Merida had fully climbed out of the sac she was captured in and stretched. She had taken a glimpse at the other 4 guardians. A giant bird human lady hybrid with violet eyes, and small, polite looking man that was nothing but gold, a large bunny with boomerangs on the side and piercing green eyes, and lastly a boy around her age with snow white hair and gorgeous blue eyes. When they locked eyes, Merida smiled, but it faded the second she remembered how she got here.
"What the hell is wrong with ya? Stuffin' a wee girl like me in a SAC? Ya must be out of yar minds!" She shouts in her Scottish accent.
Jack smirks. "Nice accent. Seems there are so many guardians with accents these days," he comments, specifically referring to two very important child legend figures.
Merida turns to give him a 'now-is-not-the-time' glare, to which Jack raised his pale palms up in defense.
Despite her volume, North grins. "I like this girl! So full of fire, no?" Merida sighs and crosses her arms, and turns her attention to Bunnymund. "You were the one who stuffed me in a sac? How could ya do that ya kangaroo!" She hears a chuckle from her right, and sees none than Jack Frost clutching his stomach a laughing. "Told ya you look like a kangaroo!" Bunny glares at both young guardians.
"I'm a bunny, Shelia. And don't forget that."
North takes a step towards Merida. "I'm North! AKA Santa Clause and the guardian of Wonder!" he extends his hand, which Merida had stared at for a second. They seemed like they didn't want to hurt her. Nor did it look like they were working for any evil alliances. Coming to a conclusion that she can trust them, Merida had kindly shook his hand. "Pleasure to meet ya. Sorry far snappin' earlier."
She turns to Tooth. But instead of a handshake or hug, a pair of slim hands found their way into Merida's mouth. "Wow! Your teeth are so shiny! They match your snow white wings!""Fingers out of ze mouth!" Tooth blushes and extends a hand. "I'm Tooth, the tooth fairy and the guardian of Memories." Merida looks down at the slightly salivated hand, so shakes her wrist instead. "Pleased ta meet ya." She then turns to the large rabbit in front of her. "I'm Aster A Bunnymund. Call me Bunny. Sorry for stuffin' ya in a sac mate." Merida shakes his furry paw. "Nice ta meet ya. I forgive ya far that." She then turns to Jack, who gives a charming smile. "Jack Frost. Winter spirit and guardian of Fun." he winks and she blushes and rolls her eyes. 'Oh great, another ego maniac.' "And you are?" Merida smiles and faces all of the guardians. "I am Merida, Cupid's number one helper and the guardian of Love."
North throws his arms in the air. "We are all friends now, no?"
'Let the adventures begin'

So whatcha think?
Sonyia: *Tapping chin while nodding* Not bad there
Kita: What are "ghillies?"
Zone: (1) Ghillies are a type of pair of shoes Scottish dancers wear that are similar to America's "ballerina shoes."
Sonyia: *Rolls eyes* Sure, show off your heritage
Zone: *Glares* I'm part IRISH, not Scottish, they are completely different.
Sonyia: HOW?
*Insert argument here*
Eheh, moving on. If you're wondering why Merida's not wearing something more cupid like, I think she's the only helper who would wear something as modern as jeans.
*Chairs flies over my head*
Aw, geez. I've gotta break this up. Anyways, Please R&R, *salutes* Ciao!
