Chapter 9

Standing outside my door, I hear noises like someone or something is in my room. Carefully but boldly I slowly open the door to see a certain blue alien sitting at my computer.

Me: Stitch? What are you doing here?

Stitch: (quickly turns around, then shuts off computer as he is speaking his alien language)

Me: Whoa, whoa, slow down buddy. I don't speak Tantalog, remember?

Stitch: Sorry, Stitch just startled.

Me: Sorry to scare you

Stitch: It's ok.

(pause) Me: So… do you want to tell me why you're in my room? (Stitch makes excited noises and points to the computer) Yeah, I know, you came through the computer like everyone else did, but why did you come here?

Stitch: Stitch was curious and wanted to see what other world like.

Me: (mutters to self) Of course… (then to Stitch) Well, I guess you could stay here… (Stitch cheers) Under one condition… (Stitch stops and looks at me) You stay by me at all times and don't cause trouble. And yes, I count bringing your cousins and/or other characters into my world causing trouble. I don't want to have to handle that kind of thing while I'm in the middle of formulating my thoughts. Understand?

Stitch: Ih.

Me: Good

Hey, everybody! I'm back and here to present the ninth chapter of our Disney adventure (finally). I once again apologize for the delay, but school has caused me to become super busy over these past few months. The good news is that I saw Big Hero 6 last week and thought it was very well done! Baymax is ADORABLE! :D This movie is also a good one to write fanfictions for, so be on the lookout for at least one with the characters from the movie in it. If you haven't seen it already, I'd strongly recommend doing so. Baymax says seeing the movie will improve your emotional state! O_O

I do not own any of the characters or settings, they belong to the Walt Disney Company!

PS: FYI, all of the situations described in my author's notes are about as real as my actual fanfictions. Disney characters are not really invading my room, I just like to pretend they are and it makes my life sound more interesting.

PPS: I normally wouldn't write much about Iago, since he's not really one of my favorite Disney characters, mostly due to his voice. But, sometimes I become obsessed with a particular movie for a while, and right now, it's the entire Aladdin franchise, but mostly the first movie. So, to satisfy my obsession, and maybe even lessen it, I decided to write this first part. Plus, it has to do with one of my favorite villains (you probably can guess who it is)! Okay, no more delays, on with the story! :D

Chapter 9- Plot Twist

In another unknown part of the Underworld, Iago was pacing back and forth in his cell, which faintly resembled one of the bird cages he sometimes would inhabit at the palace. But this time, unlike his usual accommodations, the red parrot was not happy with the current situation. To make things worse, whoever had imprisoned him decided to isolate him from the rest of the group, making him devoid of any companions to share in his misery, as well as of anyone to complain and let out his feelings to like he would usually do. And to make things even worse, he had an uneasy feeling in his stomach and his head felt like it was going to burst. He had begun to feel this way as the group had entered the cave, and even before then, as they were approaching it. But now, it was becoming even more prevalent for the parrot. Iago had felt this way previously, but he couldn't remember when at the moment for some reason. All of a sudden, he heard someone whisper something inaudible. Panicked, the parrot turned towards where he heard the voice and shouted, "Who's there?!" When he saw and heard no one, he shrugged and grumbled to himself as he continued to pace. As he did so, the uneasy feeling became even worse, almost unbearable. Eventually, he began to feel dizzy, so he sat down. Just then, he heard a voice calling his name. Iago once again looked in the direction he thought the voice was coming from, but saw no one. The parrot figured someone was playing a trick on him, so he said, "All right, cut it out!" He once again heard the voice, and became uncharacteristically frightened. But, he tried to remain calm, in case someone or something really was there.

"Ya know, I'm really not in the mood for any games right now," called the parrot. All of a sudden, the room became a lot colder than it previously was, and Iago shivered. There was then a whoosh sound that sounded similar to a gust of wind, complete with the feel of it, around him. As this was happening, the voice once again whispered his name, this time clearer than before. Iago thought the voice sounded familiar, but was too panicked to even bother to figure out whose voice it was. All of a sudden, a bright amber colored glow shone in Iago's face, blinding him. Then, everything went black.

Meanwhile, the second search party had entered what they thought was the Winnie the Pooh ride. But, once they were there, they noticed that there was no ride inside the structure, instead only a void of darkness. This, of course, left some group members frustrated, and many of them grumbled and said impolite things under their breaths.

"Hey! Who turned out the lights," shouted Timon.

"Are we even in the right place," asked Snow White.

"Guys, calm down," said Aladdin. "There's gotta be a way out of here somewhere."

"If only we had a light source, then maybe we'd be able to find it easier," stated Cinderella. As if on cue, a green glow appeared in front of them. Some group members became slightly frightened by this and/ or had uneasy feelings about what was to come as they got closer, but most of them were relieved, for that meant that there was hope for their escape. Aurora seemed to be the most affected by the glow. She was unsure as to why, but she could sense that something was not right. She was about to tell the others this when she, along with the others, began to see a shadowy figure appear.

"Well, well," came a familiar voice as the figure revealed herself to be none other than Maleficent. Hades and Jafar followed behind her menacingly.

"It appears we have managed to become successful in luring our enemies once again," she said with a smirk as she turned towards her cohorts, who also smirked. The three villains examined the other group, assessing their next move.

"Where's my sister," called a slightly afraid Anna from somewhere in the middle of the pack. The villains didn't seem to notice her until now, and were slightly confused as to where the voice was coming from. They also were angry that someone had spoken against them, especially since they had not initiated any attacks or threats yet. Jafar decided to take action and growled menacingly.

"Who dares challenge us," he asked. Anna stepped forward and identified herself. The villains looked her over, trying to figure out who she was. After a few seconds, they immediately assumed she was one of the newcomers. Hades then said in a mocking tone, "Oh, look, the Ice Queen's little sister has come to the rescue." He then pretended to smile at her and spoke to her as if she was a little kid. "How cute." This only angered Anna even more.

"I demand to know where my sister is," she declared.

"Silence," shouted Jafar, who immediately zapped Anna with his staff, sending her collapsing to the floor unconscious. Everyone except for Aladdin, Jasmine, Rapunzel, Merida, Mulan and Shang immediately ran to her aid. The latter six glanced at Anna, concerned, but focused their attention back on the villains once they saw that she was now receiving help. They gave the villains threatening glares and were about to attack when all of a sudden, they heard two voices shout from somewhere off to the side. Everyone turned to see Pain and Panic rush towards Hades excitedly. They stopped once they got to him and smiled as he turned towards them, clearly annoyed that he and his comrades had been interrupted. They both waved at Hades and said innocently in unison, "Hi."

There was silence for a moment as Hades stared them down. Then, Hades sighed and asked, slightly annoyed, "What do you want this time?"

"We did as you asked, boss," said Panic in a cheerful, almost cheesy voice. There was another pause. Then Jafar said to the two, almost as impatient as Hades, "Well, where is he then?!" Pain and Panic nodded and gestured behind them to where Iago was now approaching the group, almost appearing as if he was floating. He landed on Jafar's shoulder, where he would always perch back when the two were on the same side as each other. The heroes all gasped with shock at his appearance, especially those that were closest to him. Even those that were tending to Anna turned with surprise and were just as shocked with the revelation. Some even murmured his name in shock.

"Excellent," smirked Jafar with an evil expression on his face. Maleficent looked shocked and impressed at the two. All three villains were surprised that Pain and Panic had actually succeeded in their task and had done it right this time, but Maleficent was the most surprised, for it was the first time she got to witness such a rare occasion herself. She approached the two and smiled at them, almost fondly, and said, "Well done! And I've always thought you two were incompetent, bumbling buffoons who were incapable of succeeding in such a task." Pain and Panic grinned proudly at the compliment, but slightly glared at her once they realized what else she had said.

"Hey," protested Pain. Hades slightly chuckled at this interaction. It was so entertaining for him to see other people insult his minions for once. Maleficent ignored his complaint and turned towards her enemies. She, along with her partners in crime, waited for the heroes' reactions. To their delight, all of the heroes were either confused, angry, or both.

"Uhh, I'm confused," said Timon, gesturing towards Iago. "Isn't the bird supposed to be on our side now?"

"He was, up until he betrayed us again," said Aladdin, angrily glaring at his former ally. Aladdin waited for Iago to explain himself, but he was silent. Aladdin then asked him to explain himself, but he was still silent.

Genie turned into a police officer and shined a flashlight at Iago. "I need answers, and I need them now," he said in a dramatic, gruff sounding voice. Iago still didn't respond.

Jasmine tried to reason with him. "Iago, think of all of the horrible things he's done to you and us. How much he put us through." Iago still was silent. Everyone was confused and worried about what was happening. Some were about to ask questions, but then thought better of it. If Iago wouldn't talk to the people he knew the most, he probably wouldn't confess to them, either.

As everyone was trying to figure out why Iago had betrayed them, Rapunzel noticed something was a bit off. She glanced around the cave for any signs of danger. Her eyes then fell on Iago, who didn't seem to be behaving like himself at the moment. He just stood there silently on Jafar's shoulder, expressionless, not even blurting out one of his famous snarky comments. She quietly got the attention of those that were closest to her and gestured for those that were further from her to come closer. She then quietly told everyone of her observation.

"He appears to be under some kind of spell or something," she said. Everyone was quiet for a moment, thinking of how to respond to this. Finally, Timon said, "I bet it was the tall skinny guy. He looks like he could cause the most trouble."

"What makes you think it's him," asked Ariel. Timon was about to answer when Aladdin said, "He's right. Jafar probably did something to Iago to force him to team up with him."

"That 'something' wouldn't happen to involve that awful stick he carries around, does it," asked Wendy.

"It probably was," said Jasmine. "One of his tricks is to hypnotize people into doing what he wants them to by using the staff." After she said this, a few others who had never seen Jafar and/ or heard of what he was capable of up until now gasped in horror.

"What do you think we should do," asked Belle. They then further discussed their next plan of action. When they were finished, Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Timon, Pumbaa, Alice and Wendy continued to tend to the still unconscious Anna while the remaining individuals took on the villains. Maleficent laughed evilly and said, "You fools! Thinking you can defeat us!"

"Give it up! There's more of us then there are of you," said Shang.

"So there is," observed Jafar. He then turned towards his cohorts and smiled evilly, "But we are more powerful." He emphasized the word 'powerful' by zapping his staff in the direction of the group that was attending to Anna. Everyone screamed and tried to escape the blast. Nearly everyone, save for a few, managed to escape.

"I'm sure that gave you all a shock," taunted Jafar.

Hades groaned and rubbed his forehead, muttering, "Again with the puns." He then took action and formed a fireball, throwing it at the heroes. The fireball missed the heroes, hitting a wall of the cave instead and burning a hole through it. Maleficent also used her staff to blast electricity at the heroes. Everyone dodged out of the way as Shang used his sword to refract the zap, causing it to hit the top of the cave, causing a piece of it to crumble. The heroes and villains continued to fight for what seemed like an eternity. All of a sudden, both Jafar and Maleficent slammed their staffs on the ground of the cave, causing the huge vibration formed as a result of this to cause the heroes that were still conscious to fall, suffering the same fate as their comrades. The villains smiled at their success, and Maleficent and Jafar joined together in maniacal laughter, much to the annoyance of Hades.

"Excellent," said Jafar, "Now to dispose of them." He turned towards the still hypnotized Iago and directed him to take the heroes to the same place where the other group was being held. Hades ordered Pain and Panic to do the same, an order which they were extremely excited to carry out, since they were so successful with their last one. They smiled and giggled with excitement as they rushed to help Iago with the heroes.

"Don't worry boss, we won't let you down," said Pain as he ran to catch up with his fellow minions. Little did everyone know that they were being watched.

Ever since Mickey Mouse had left Anna, Elsa, Olaf, Sven and Kristoff earlier, he had decided to head to Cinderella's castle to keep an eye out on them during the rest of the day in order to make sure they were all safe and enjoying themselves. He had been using a crystal ball Yen Sid had given to him as a Christmas present that year, therefore had been watching everything that had taken place. He realized that at this point, both groups would need backup. But who? Of course, he would have to go there himself, but who would accompany him? Most of the strongest and bravest characters were the ones who needed help, so it was hard for Mickey to think of anyone. Finally, after about an hour of searching through the record book he had of every single Disney character ever created, he had an idea. He made his way back towards the crystal ball. He had a few "calls" to make.

Author's Note: Okay, I know it's another short chapter, but to be honest with you, I'm beginning to run out of ideas for this story. With that being said, the next chapter will be the last one (sad, I know). Also, I've been working on this story for at least seven months now, and I think it's time to wrap things up. Plus, I have a boatload of other stories I'd like to write, as I've said before, and I just don't have the time and patience to focus on more than one story at a time. Speaking of the story, I apologize if some parts of the story get weird and/or creepy. It's just my imagination talking, and it makes for a good story element. Anyways, stay tuned for the next and final chapter, in which we will find out what happens to our heroes as well as who Mickey decides to recruit for his rescue team. Remember to read and review and please be nice about it. Thank you and see you next chapter! :D
