Hello, everyone! Wow... I have not updated this fanfic in forever! I'm truly sorry about that. I feel like I've failed with this one...
Honestly, I'm going to have to take a break with this story for now. Going into it, it was only going to be two or three chapters in the first place. I didn't expect it too be all that long, and I had this little plot in my head, but I don't think I'm going to continue with it.
I believe I owed all of you an explanation at least for why this story has been put on hold. I have totally lost my muse for this story... I think I expressed all that I could with it. I really wanted to write Grell transitioning from her mortal life to her life as a shinigami, and I wanted her to interact with William, sort of differently then they interact in the present day manga. More like, I wanted to experiment and see what I could come up with for them interacting as strangers, amateur-like, almost. It was kind of like an experiment with posting the first chapter...
So, I'll promise you one more chapter, hopefully. I'll read back through my other two chapters and see what I can do to come up with a third. Maybe after that I'll have a better idea of where I want this story to go, and what I want to make from it, but for right now, I think I'll just leave it as three chapters.
I'm terribly sorry that I've let this story die out, but I'll try my best to rekindle it. I do think this story was a good idea, and I don't want to let it go to waste.
Perhaps if any of you have an idea or two of what you'd like to see happen in this story, that might help.
