countryheart: I am glad that you love possessive Dean and I do agree that it is sexy. Hehe I am glad that you thought it was a great chapter and loved it! Here is the update and I hope that you didn't have to wait too long.
FluffyHanyoEars: I am very happy that you loved the confrontation between Dean and Edward. And yes, Edward can be quite stupid at times at least when it comes to Bella. Lol Yes, poor Jasmine… I couldn't help but torture her with Ruby just a little bit… lol
alyssamcgrath: Yeah, Edward is stubborn and denial, but that is what makes the story so much fun. :) I hope I didn't make you wait too long for more. And whether Ruby was lying or not is yet to be seen…
Darlene10104: Yes, a lot is going on. I hope you like the way things progress from there…
MizzPurpleBox: I am glad that you loved the last chapter and the confrontation. You're wlecome for the surprise of Ruby. I thought her coming in would add some spice! Lol Yes, writing the Edward/Dean scene had me wanting to do the Jacob/Dean scene. So I am already thinking about that as well and yes, his horrible temper will definitely make it entertaining. Yeah, he won't like another male in Bella's life, but Dean won't roll over for anyone when it comes to Bella. It will be awesome when the confrontation happens. I am glad you love how the story is coming along and yes, there is a Bella/Dean scene I put in for you. :) I hope you like it as they get a little alone time. ;) Enjoy this chapter.
LTree16: Sounds like a plan! Team Jazz all the way! She has to get Sam back. Hehe

Kirarifox13: I am glad that when I update it excites you! I like making people laugh and have fun while reading my stories. Hehe Here is an update and thank you very much for the compliment. :) I appreciate it very much.
krash86: It is what you think krash, but no confrontation yet. It is a surprise… And something Dean definitely won't take well…
YunaNeko: I am glad that you love it and can't wait for the next chapter! Here it is and sorry for the wait. And thank you for the good luck. :)
Tabpire: lol Yup, it certainly was a way to end a chapter. Lol I can't help but to seem to end my chapters that way. Lol Ruby does like messing with things… She wouldn't be her if she didn't. Glad Dean and Edward's little chat made you laugh as I certainly could imagine Dean doing such things to annoy Edward. Haha I liked that part too with Jasmine and Sam joking and such about bets. Could you imagine how much money Sam could make betting on about Dean? Lol And here is an update for you!
Guest: Here is another chapter for you!
Emi Nicole Jackson12: Yup, it certainly is! And from all directions! Lol
LittleDevilSpawn: I am glad that you think the story is amazing! Here is the new update. Sorry it took so long. It makes me happy that you love this story. And Bella might not go back to Edward but it doesn't mean he is giving up! Lol
Peaches'n'cream112: I am so happy that you love this chapter! Yup, there is a lot of rivals rearing their heads in the last chapter but the rivals aren't done yet. Lol And slowly we are getting into the Cullens reaction to everything. :) I am glad that you think it is exciting and here is the next chapter. Tehe
HeavyMetalChick: Here is the next update to keep you from going insane. And I am not giving up on my stories. Real life is just kicking me at the moment. lol

I, I always believed in futures
I hope for better in November
I try the same losing lucky numbers
It could be a cold night for a lifetime
Hey now, you can't keeping saying endlessly
My darling, how long until this affects me?
Say hello to good times
Trade up for the fast ride
We close our eyes while the nickel and dime take the streets completely
I, I always could count on futures
That things would look up, and they look up
Why is it so hard to find balance
Between living decent and the cold and real
Hey now, what is it you think you see?
My darling, now's the time to disagree
Say hello to good times
Trade up for the fast ride
We close our eyes while the nickel and dime take the streets completely
Hey now, the past is told by those who win
My darling, what matters is what hasn't been
Hey now, we're wide awake and we're thinking
My darling, believe your voice can mean something
Say hello to good times

Chapter 18:
Multi- Faced Futures
It didn't take long for Edward to get home to find himself facing the whole family as they waited for him in the dining room where they held their family meetings. He didn't know how to explain to them what happened at the Swans or the fact that he hadn't brought Bella back to see them like he promised the family. The copper haired vampire was still having trouble wrapping his head around the fact that Bella had broken up with him for an older male that probably slept with more women then he could count. He frowned seeing the whole family already sitting around the table and a quick look of their thoughts told him that they were surprised not to see Bella. All but Alice who was looking at him with sympathy and he realized that she had saw the whole thing happening probably right after he left.
He didn't say anything out loud to her as he took his seat looking at each of his family in turn before finally speaking. "As you can see, Bella didn't come with me. She, I, and that one male from Alice's vision got into a fight. It turns out that those others from Alice's vision knows everything about us, everything." There was an uproar among the family just like Edward knew was going to happen and so he continued speaking. "these people are like nothing I have heard of before. Carlisle, have you ever heard of humans called Hunters that hunt the Supernatural?"
Carlisle looked thoughtful at Edward considering his question. "Well, back many years ago when I first came to America and before I turned you I heard rumors from nomads." His face turned serious almost looking like stone. "Some had talked about humans with the knowledge and ability to kill us, but never meeting any I thought it was just rumors."
While most of the others were gapping at Carlisle's words there was a look on Jasper's face like he had realized something important. "I believe I may have run into some of these hunters that you speak of before. Back when I was still with Maria and we were building a newborn army we ran across a couple strange humans. They were strong and very efficient and before we knew it they had killed five of the newborns despite the newborns advantages. When Maria recognized the threat she had them killed."
Edward almost looked like he was in shock or disbelief even though he could easily see the proof in Jasper's memories of that time. "You mean there are these type of people and Bella, my Bella is caught in the middle of this terrible situation?"
"What exactly is she caught in the middle of Edward, dear?" Esme asked with concern being reflected in her eyes and thoughts toward him.
The copper headed vampire let out a sigh before deciding he had to tell them the whole thing if he was going to get their help to save Bella from the Hunters. Alice's visions were right on the dot with these people being old friends with Bella. From what she said the other three had known her since they were little children and that all their families are Hunters. Carefully Edward explained everything that Bella and Dean had said to him from the fact that her family was hunters to the point that she had broken up with him. "You see, she is in the middle of a bomb that is bound to go off. Bella can't see that these people are going to get her killed and how could she even think of loving someone like him?"
There was a silence from the family and almost all of them had degrees of shock or surprise on their faces except Alice who was looking at Edward sadly. The rest of the family seeing that Edward was giving Alice a strange look also turned to look at Alice wondering just what they all were missing.
"Alice, what have you been hiding from me?" Edward asked, his tone like stone causing Jasper to grip his mate around the waist and let out a warning growl in return.
Carlisle's voice broke through what looked like was going to be a fight. "Enough now boys. We don't need to be fighting each other right now. Alice, dear… We need to know everything you do… Please…"
Alice closed her eyes for a moment like she was sealing herself before she opened them again and stared directly at Edward. "I tried to warn you, Edward, the first time you met her and again in the ballet studio. You should have turned her when you had the chance, but I never thought…" The look on her face became more sad. "I never thought that the other man that I saw in some of my visions with her before would become a problem. When she came to Forks officially I thought this Dean had now become her past. I still always had this sense of urgency and so I tried to push you to turn Bella like she wanted because I know that would solve everything…" Her voice faded for a moment. "When we left after the incident at Bella's birthday party and you told me not to look for Bella's future and so during that time all the visions I got of her was when she jumped off the cliff.'
'After we got back and found out that she had started spending time with the La Push wolves that is when I got another vision of this Dean and that is when Bella started changing. And now everything has escalated and you tell us all this. I didn't think this Dean meant that much to Bella, but I guess I know better now." Alice turned her eyes to Edward's slowly darkening eyes. "I hate to say this, but they were kissing while you were still together." She wasn't going to tell him originally, but with Bella leaving him changed that.

Jasmine had finally composed herself enough to at least head into the house and hand the paid for things to Charlie and her father with a poker face. If either of them had any idea that something had happened while she had been out neither of them decided to question her for the time being. She found the others in Charlie's backyard and had this sudden urge to ask Sam about Ruby's appearance right then, but pushed it back with an inward snarl at herself. The young woman couldn't believe that she was thinking about taking Ruby's words about Sam to heart and she bit back her words as she approached the others. Bella and Dean were speaking about something quietly and Jasmine shook her head before laying her head on Sam's shoulder, trying to wrap her arms around him.
If Sam noticed that something was wrong with Jasmine he didn't say anything either, but only grabbed her by the hand to pull her around in front of him. She was a little shocked when after pulling her in front of him that Sam automatically had Jasmine in his lap and Dean must have seen it because he frowned. He didn't say anything, but she could tell as she curled into Sam's lap that Dean would probably ask her about what was up with her later in the evening. She didn't respond physically or verbally to Dean's look hoping that he would forget it while she buried her head against Sam's chest like using him as a shield. She should have realized earlier that if anyone could put dots together and know something was wrong, it would be Dean.
Even though Sam was quite observant when it came to her most of the time when it came to her ability at hiding things Dean could spot it easier than Sam. Jasmine didn't have much time to think about how she was going to explain things to Dean later as Charlie and her father came out to grill their dinner. Soon there was steaks and vegetables being wrapped and grilled by Charlie while Bobby was handing out beers to the boys, himself, and Charlie. "That is starting to smell good, Charlie." Dean remarked with an appreciative sniffle as he approached the grill with his beer in hand and Bella chuckling behind him.
"Thank you, Dean," Charlie replied with a smirk. "A bottomless pit like you… I will take that as a compliment as long as you don't eat it all." Charlie's words caused the rest of the group to bust into laughter at Dean's expense who pouted before rolling his eyes in Charlie's direction.
"Thanks everyone. I appreciate how much you love me." Dean snorted whole eyeing the grilling steaks and vegetables like a dying man.
Bella chuckled at Dean's words and then wrapped her arms around his waist from behind like when she was a small girl, but this was a lot different. Jasmine and Sam could see it from a mile away as they had seen it for years and Bobby and Charlie had always seen it as well so it was hoped that the Cullens could see it as well. At this moment as the food finished cooking even with the Cullens and Ruby lingering over Bella and Jasmine's heads the two females were quite happy with their Winchester brothers. Jasmine and Sam were together in a chair and Dean had pulled Bella so that his arms were around her waist and she was in front of him. Dusk was settling into the air and for that time it was a peaceful spot in their lives that would always be treasure by the little group.
That night after dinner Charlie and Bobby were talking in the living room, Jasmine and Sam were doing something in the kitchen which left Dean and Bella to their own devices. Bella had been organizing her books so that she wouldn't trip over them and had to roll her eyes at the chuckle that she heard from the door. "Don't laugh at me, Dean Winchester. You forget I have a habit of falling over my own two feet." She sent a pout out to the green eyes male that was standing in her doorway.
"I remember quite well how you trip over thin air." He snickered stepping inside her bedroom. "I still can't get over your Freshman Year dance. You tripped over my feet during the first dance and would have gone face first if it wasn't for me."
Bella rolled her eyes again and punched Dean in the arm. "The only reason I tripped was because Jasmine wanted me to wear those stupid shoes." She gave Dean a stern look and crossed her arms. "And I still can't believe you got into the dance without someone throwing you out. As you were past the age limit students could bring."
Dean gave her one of his famous grins. "It is all in how you present yourself. That and I was able to sneak past all the adult chaperones." He had this pleased look at her like breaking into that party was one of his most finest moments in some of the things Dean had done in his life.
"And only you would be overly pleased with yourself with breaking into something like my Freshman Dance," She teased him as the oldest Winchester stalked to where she was standing.
"What? I got to spend time with my Hells Bells and I didn't see you complaining when I showed up and saved you from the geek with braces." Dean responded reaching up to caress Bella's hair before tangling his hand in it.
Bella leaned into Dean's hand where his fingertips were resting against her scalp. "You know, that wasn't actually very nice, Dean. His name was Brett and usually he had a very hard time talking to girls. You should-" She had to say that Dean had a very effective way of shutting her up as he took the hand that was tangled in her hair to pull Bella close to him. The young brunette barely had time to prepare herself before Dean's lips brushed hers in a soft intimate gesture that made her want more. He seemed to recognize the fact that she wanted more from the kiss before she could voice it because his lips were quickly back on hers covering up any words. The kiss was hard and passionate, just like how Bella had seen Dean kiss other girls when he didn't realize that her, Sam, and Jasmine were watching him while hiding.
It was so much like the kisses, but there was something more she could feel in the kiss because Bella knew something that those other females didn't. She knew that most of those girls Dean had kissed he wasn't exactly in love with and that was what Bella could honestly feel in the kiss was how he cared. Bella knew that Dean wasn't the type to always say it and she was the type that she didn't always need to hear the words so they balanced each other out. Neither was the type to want chick flicks as Dean always said and so all those times that Edward had said something along the lines of caring about her, her blushing was from surprise and uncertainty of how to respond. With Dean though there was no crossed wires and no misunderstandings when it came to feelings now that everything had been aired out in the motel.
When Dean finally pulled away from the kiss he had to smirk a little bit seeing that Bella had been kissed speechless and that had the oldest Winchester quite pleased with himself. "So what were you saying, Hells Bells?" He asked as he pulled away to look the brunette in the eyes. "Why should I be nice to a geek that was trying to chat up my girl, huh?"
"Oh, Dean…" Bella shook her head at hearing his possessive tone though she couldn't help, but smile seeing just how happy Dean seemed at the moment. She was going to say something else to Dean, but decided against it in favor of placing her hands on Dean's face feeling the stubble there making her shiver. She didn't have to tell Dean that she liked the rough feel of his stubble against her hands because he had caught the shiver that came from her. So before he could say anything about that fact Bella made the decision to press their lips together again for she didn't want to hear him teasing her about it. Dean let out a low groan in return as their lips touched and he pulled her closer wanting to have her as close as possible while they kissed. He only pulled away after neither of them had their breath anymore and both their lips were swollen from the kisses they just shared.
As Dean buried his nose against Bella's neck and placed kissed against her throat Bella panted for breath and gasped at the sensations he was creating. She gripped at his arms causing him to let out a chuckle while pulling back. "I better go to my own room Bella before Charlie gets the wrong idea." Dean remarked pulling back completely.
"And if I don't want you to go?" Bella asked stepping into Dean's space again with a chuckle making him shaking his head being tempted by her being so close.
"Would you rather have your boyfriend shot full of holes from your father's service revolver?" Dean asked raising one eyebrow as Bella came completely into his space. She didn't respond verbally to Dean's words but instead was caught off guard when Bella shoved him down on to the bed making him bounce and look at her confused. "Bella?" He questioned looking up at her from the bed trying to figure out what Bella was up to.
"My father wouldn't shoot you. He likes you too much." She finally responded while crawling on to the bed with Dean. "Plus he can't say anything if I have handcuffed you to the bed."
Dean didn't respond right away as he let Bella position him on the bed with his back against the wall so that he was sitting up in bed. "Remember I know how to pick the locks on handcuffs, Bells." He told her with a smirk.
Once she had Dean where she wanted him Bella settled herself so she was laying herself against him where she was leaning against his chest. "Oh, why did my Father decide it was good to teach you and Sam how to pick locks on handcuffs?" Bella took Dean's hands and wrapped them around her waist, cuddling against him with a small, happy sigh.
"Because he knew that with hunting we would come across lawmen that would arrest us. It's a good talent to have." He remarked nuzzling at her neck with his nose, his hands tightening around her waist. "And if you ever tell anyone that we're cuddling I will never forgive you." He said against her ear loving it when she shivered and giggled. They spent the rest of the evening talking to each other and just enjoyed being in each other's company without being disturbed.

The second day of staying in Forks started with Charlie having to go into the police station real early leaving the rest of the house to wake up on their own. He had brewed the coffee before he left and took a cup of it with him to help wake him up at the station. Next up was Bella and Jasmine followed closely by Bobby and so he was nursing a cup of coffee of his own while the girls started up breakfast. It didn't take long for the smell of food to wake both Dean and Sam which caused both females to chuckle and shake their heads at their men. The food was quickly inhaled while they discussed exactly what they thought was going to happen when it came to the Cullens.
Bella was sitting beside Dean and Jasmine was beside Sam leaving Bobby at the head of the table this morning. "Just with the way that Edward was acting yesterday and some of the things that Dean and I discussed…" She took a deep breath before continuing. "I am afraid that Edward won't give up just like that. He seemed to just not want to believe that I don't want him anymore."
None of the other looked shocked by this, but then again Bella had also had a feeling that Edward just wouldn't let it go either. Bobby finally gave out his opinion. "To be honest I am not surprised. The way you have described these Cullens I expected nothing less." There was a strange look in his eyes as he turned to look at Bella. "It may end up where we might have to hunt them if they don't let you go." He knew he had to be brutally honest with her.
The young woman despite the fact that she wanted to save the Cullens from being hunted, Bella knew exactly what Bobby was trying to tell her. "I understand that Bobby. It's not something that I want to see happen." She sighed shaking her head. "But I can't have our little family in danger either."
"We don't want that either," Sam spoke up. "We don't want any of us hurt nor do we want any of them hurt if we can help it." He sent a glare Dean's way when he snorted in disbelief. It could easily be seen that earlier between the two brothers that there had been a long conversation about the Cullens, probably before they came down the stairs.
Jasmine couldn't help, but grin seeing the looks passing between the two brothers. "I am not sure how well Dean agrees with you, Sam."
"Well, of course Dean doesn't agree. I think it is because he might be jealous," Sam responded giving Dean an amused look when he kicked him under the table for his comment. Both girls tried to hide their snickers at the boys bantering back and forth between each other as they had always done since they were little. It was a nice familiar sight after months of not having that and Bella wasn't going to ever take it for granted again.
"And why would I be jealous?" Dean questioned with a raised eyebrow. "I wasn't the bloodsucker that got dumped for a non-blood in taking male." Both Jasmine and Sam had to hide their smiles at Dean's choice of words while Bella rolled her eyes before giving Dean a slight punch in the arm. Dean turned to look at Bella and gave her a grin making Bobby snort at the two that were sitting together side by side. The two of them looked over at Bobby and he just gave them a mysterious smile before turning back to look at Jasmine and Sam.
"Still Dean, you're acting jealous," Jasmine teased before letting out a surprised yelp as Dean gave her a kick in the shin just like he had done with Sam. "What are you kicking me for Dean? You're just acting like a jealous boyfriend." Jasmine grinned moving her leg when Dean tried to kick her again. The group broke into laughter as Dean made a face and crossed his arms while Bella and Jasmine started to clean up the dishes from the table. Bella kept collecting dishes and Jasmine began to run the water to do the dishes while Sam, Dean, and Bobby talked quietly at the table.
Jasmine had sat her phone on the counter as she put some of the dishes into the warm water and frowned hearing her ringtone. Though the ringtone sounded familiar to Jasmine she couldn't quite place it and so she hit the answer button and speaker button before speaking. "Hello?" She froze hearing a male voice that she certainly wasn't expecting to call her and inwardly cursed.
"Hell-o, Buttercup." A male voice came across the phone sounding overly bright and cheerful. Sam raised an eyebrow at hearing the male voice speaking to Jasmine in such a way as Bobby covered his mouth to keep the laughter from spilling out.
Jasmine bit back a snort, the dishes completely forgotten at the moment. "What did I tell you before McClearly? Do not call me that. Do you really want your head going through that precious computer of yours?" There was a tone in her voice that sounded like something between exasperation and just a little bit of amusement as she tapped her foot on the kitchen floor.
"Don't be like Darling…"
Sam stood up a strange look crossing his face looking like he wanted to say something only to have Bobby shake his head at the younger man. He watched as Jasmine made a face and then replied to the male on the phone. "Does this conversation actually have a point Jase or can I hang up now?" She no longer even seemed a little amused.
They could hear a verbal fight between two male voices over the speaker that sounded like they were fighting for the phone on Jase's end. Then a different male voice, a little deeper than Jase's started to speak. "Forgive my cousin, Jasmine. I haven't found a leash to go with the collar I bought him yet." There was sounds of protest from Jase that sent a flicker of a smile across Jasmine's face.
"Hello, to you too, Brice. You might want to invest in a muzzle for him as well." There was various chuckles from both sides of the phone. "Alright, so what can I do for you guys?"
"It is not about what you can do for us, Jasmine. Honestly, it is about what we can do for you, today. Those samples of that swamp monster that you sent to Jase's lab recently…" There was a pause before the voice of Brice started to speak again. "Jase ran them through tests last night. Sadly, it has the doctor written all over it."
Jasmine looked pale and Sam was immediately at her side even though he wasn't sure what was going on. "You mean-" Sam wrapped an arm around her waist to keep her close to him as she seemed to need him right at the moment with how pale she seemed to be.
Once again Jase's voice came across the speaker. "Yup, exactly." His tone had gone quite serious and there was no hint of amusement coming from now. "That swamp creature wasn't just any normal supernatural creature. Your hunch was right. He was turned into a monster by the doctor playing around with his genetics." He let out a sigh and shook his head even though they couldn't see it. "It seems like it was just another one of his failures that he just let go…"
"I am not sure about the creature being a failure, boys." Jasmine responded leaning against Sam's strong chest. "According to the sources that sent us after that swamp creature… It had been around fifty years…" She chuckled to herself at the silence on the other end of the phone. "Whatever the doctor had been up to lately, it sounds like he started here in America a lot earlier than you guys thought. This is starting to get even more complicated."
"You really know how to rain on a person' parade, Singer!" Brice's voice sounded more than what he should during this conversation and what Jasmine had said. Jasmine took a few more minutes to speak to the boys on the other end of the phone before hanging up the phone and turning to the others.
"I guess all of you have some questions," Jasmine spoke looking up into Sam's face and then to Dean and Bella seeing that her father had exited the room. Bobby exiting the room earlier made perfect sense to Jasmine as Bobby already knew about both Jase and Brice McCleary and he didn't need to hear it again. "So who is first? I don't need all of you asking me questions all at once." She tried to tease to lighten the mood.
"Well, as your boyfriend I think I should be allowed to ask questions first," Sam responded looking back down at Jasmine. "But I would think it is a good idea for you to start from the beginning."
Jasmine sighed and nodded before dragging Sam to a chair and forcing him to sit down before plopping herself into his lap. "Honestly, the whole thing begins after Sam had left the salvage yard…" She paused to push through her words and continued with her story. "After Father and I gotten rid of Lilith's witches, I decided to start hunting part time again and eventually ended up meeting this pair of cousins. Their names were Jase and Brice McCleary and originally they were from Scotland." Jasmine paused burying herself a little more against Sam. "They come from a family of hunters over there and they had been hot on the trail of a unique monster. That is when I stumbled upon them. They were working the same case I was and soon I somehow ended up tagging along with them chasing a creature that I had never heard of before."
Seeing that Dean was about to say something Bella gave him a pinch in the arm and in return he gave her a short glare. Sam bit back his chuckle at the situation as he wanted to find out what happened between Jasmine and this pair of cousins and squash the jealously about the phone conversation he heard. "We did end up getting the creature, but I admit that there was something wrong with the whole deal and they showed me why. They took me to a lab run by Jase and ran samples of the creatures dna through many tests. If I hadn't seen the results with my own eyes I wouldn't have believed it for one minute, but the dna wasn't like anything I had seen before. When they explained everything to me I found myself floored and completely shocked by the whole deal. It turns out this monster was forced into becoming one by not a monster, but by a human being.'
'This human being has been experimenting on and changing the genetics and turning other human beings into monsters. He is a mad doctor by the name of Wendall Olsen and the cousins have chased him all the way from Scotland. Their family got wind of what he was doing several years ago, but has all been more than just a couple of steps behind him. Since I have learned all this I have helped them when I can. Like when I noticed something was odd with the swamp creature, Bella." As Jasmine looked over at Bella the other girl nodded in agreement remembering Jasmine's concern about the case. "And it turns out that I was right, but also means that the doctor had been doing this for more years than what we thought. Those two are going to have their hands full." It seemed that Jasmine was finally done explaining as her eyes turned back to the others. "So do you guys have any questions now?"
There was a silence that followed for a second that seemed to stretch on forever making Jasmine start to feel nervous. "I am just curious. Didn't they try to report this to authorities?" Dean asked leaning back in his chair.
"Well, yeah… But that didn't turn out so well. Their aunt is now in an asylum because of it. So that was knocked in the bud a long time ago."
Bella shook her head. "That is so sick. How could someone do something like that? So this crazy doctor has been hopping country to country turning people into monsters?"
Jasmine nodded at Bella's question. "Yes, he had been hopping from country to country. They found evidence in France and Great Britain as well." Bella's eyes went wide in surprise.
"Well, what I want to know is just what your relationship with these two males are?" Sam asked a little hint of jealously in his voice at the way she spoke about the males. He squeezed her waist in a possessive way that Jasmine couldn't miss without being completely stupid.
The spiky haired girl was quite close to opening her mouth hearing him question the nature of her relationship with the McCleary cousins. Him questioning her like that forced the situation she had with Ruby the day before to the forefront of her mind and she immediately started to be grouchy with the male. She bit her tongue to keep from mentioning Ruby though trying to remind herself that demons were known to lie and that didn't need aired out. "Sam, how can you ask me something like that?" She shook her head. "I guess Dean isn't the only Winchester that can get jealous." There was stifled laughter coming from Dean and Bella, but Jasmine only had eyes and ears for Sam. "I love you, Sam, only you. Neither of the cousins mean anything to me other than friendship."
She continued to speak before Sam could say anything else as she pressed her finger to his lips to keep him quiet. "Yes, I know you can tell by the phone call that Jase wishes more from me, but he knows I am not interested." Jasmine could see the look in Sam's eyes and she sighed softly. "I am being honest, Sam. He does know that I am not interested and what he said over the phone was meant to annoy me."
For a moment Sam didn't say anything to Jasmine as it seemed that he was trying to judge the truth by looking into her eyes. Coming to a decision Sam brushed a strand of hair from her face. "I am sorry. I do believe you. You have never given me a reason to doubt you" This brought a smile to Jasmine's lips and she kissed him quickly to show him that all was forgiven.
"Alright," Dean protested at the couple that was kissing before him. "Enough chick flicks…" He stood up giving the scowling couple a grin. "I need to borrow Sammy for a moment." Sam looked ready to protest, but instead he stood up after getting Jasmine off his lap and followed Dean outside.
Bella and Jasmine had decided while Dean and Sam were discussing whatever it was privately to grab a picnic basket and plan an outing together. The boys didn't know it yet, but the girls were going to drag the two to First Beach at La Push to spend the afternoon in just each other's company. The two girls had quickly worked together to put in a blanket and paper plates along with plastic silverware into the basket. Then while Jasmine was putting lemonade into a thermos to keep cold Bella was making sandwiches with turkey, ham, and cheese to put into the basket. "Do we have any salads in the fridge that we can take and put in the basket as well?" Bella asked packing the sandwiches carefully away.
Immediately Jasmine stuck her head in the fridge before turning to look at Bella. "We have potato salad, macaroni salad, and red beet eggs." The grin was contagious and Bella found herself smiling back at the older girl. "Do you think that will be enough to go with the sandwiches?"
Bella looked thoughtful for a moment before giving the other girl a nod. "I believe that it will be enough because I am going to put some chips in as well."
Both girls soon head the picnic basket packed up just as the two males were coming back into the kitchen to join them. Bella could see the confusion in both boys' eyes at them realizing the two females had been planning something without the help of the males. "Bells, Jazz, is there something that you two are not telling us?" Dean asked crossing his arms watching as Bella seemed to be adding some finishing touches to the basket.
"what does it look like we are doing, Fruitcake?" Jasmine responded to Dean in place of Bella as she finished putting things they had using to fix the picnic basket back into the fridge. "We are packing a basket full of food to take to First Beach. If you want lunch you are going to have to come along." She continued her words smirking at Dean.
Dean frowned at her words and muttered something about way too many chick flick moments happening recently to his brother's amusement. Bella giggled and walked toward Dean. "Don't be like that. Going to the beach and having a picnic doesn't have to turn into a chick flick." Then Bella reached up and pulled him close enough to whisper into his ear and whatever she said had Dean chuckling and pulling her to him.
"Alright, you convinced me," Dean smirked at his brother who rolled his eyes as Sam ran his hands along Jasmine's waist to hold her close. "Let's go to the beach then." He had to smile as both girls seemed to light up. They were heading to the beach.
