AN: The reason why the last chapter was name Multi-Faced Futures was because the last piece to complete the love squares was introduced. Depending on who each the Winchesters, Bella, and Jasmine would choose their futures could be very different. Hence the name. lol Sorry, it was something that popped into my head while creating the last chapter.

A Sorta Fairytale- Tori Amos
Chapter 19:
Disaster at First Beach
It didn't take long for the two girls to get the picnic basket and their two male companions into the impala as both girls just knew Dean wouldn't ride in Jasmine's Mustang. Bella gave her new boyfriend (that word made her giddy) directions on how to get to First Beach on the La Push Rez and then leaned back in the backseat with Jasmine giggling. Both girls were trying to use this outing as a way to forget all the problems they had earlier and just relax with the two males in their lives. The drive didn't take too long and the four ended up parked in the small parking lot next to the beach that was surprisingly empty of the locals. Bella and Jasmine immediately hopped out of the car and made their way to the trunk waiting patiently for Dean to open it up so they could get the picnic basket and blanket out.
Bella grabbed the picnic basket while Jasmine grabbed the blanket and they headed on to the beach leaving both boys to follow along behind. Neither Dean or Sam could figure out why the two females were so excited to be on the beach, but because both females seemed so happy with everything they weren't going to say anything. By the time they both had gotten to where the girls had decided to settle on the beach the two had already gotten the blanket spread out. The two males both softly hearing their giggles and soft words filling the air around the group helping the brothers to settle. Jasmine had already stripped down to just wearing a pair of dark denim short shorts and a light blue bikini swim top showing off her tan skin that had been hidden by her clothes.
Dean had to bite back a snicker at Sam's facial expression as he was watching his girlfriend help set up the rest of the picnic with Bella at her side. It was an expression that Dean was use to wearing when watching Bella and so he was wondering when Sam was going to jump the spiky haired female. His younger brother shot him a look at hearing him snicker before moving toward the two girls while shaking his head at Dean. The older brother followed along behind Sam and grabbed Bella into his arms making her laugh while trying to smack at his hands and fingers. When she realized that Dean wasn't going to let her go, Bella just leaned back into the embrace and tangled her fingers in his to enjoy the moment while she could.
She knew that Dean wasn't much for the chick flick moments so she wasn't going to mention that this felt like one and completely ruin it for herself. Especially when Sam and Jasmine was so caught up with each other at the moment as well and wouldn't be able to tease Dean. Times like this weren't going to come often and so every second like this was something to be cherished for Bella. She could tell that something was coming and times like this might not ever come up again so she was going to make sure they all had a little fun. "What is on your mind, Hells Bells?" Dean whispered into her ear making Bella turn her face to look back at him with a shy smile and doe eyes.
Bella let out o soft sigh. "A whole lot, but nothing at the same time. Just uncertainties that I know I shouldn't let get to me." She finally responded not wanting Dean to worry.
He gave her one of his famous smirks in return and opened his mouth to say something when there was a female squeal from the direction of the water and they turned in time to see Sam drop Jasmine into the water. Neither of them could help but laugh seeing a sputtering, wet Jasmine Singer chasing Sam into deeper water like a mad woman. Dean was glad to see Jasmine acting that way after the mood she was in when she came back to Charlie's after shopping and the mini argument with Sam this morning at breakfast. He knew that he would have to speak to her soon though because he just knew that Jasmine was hiding something that had happened to her while she was out. Dean had no idea how Sam hadn't noticed the difference between Jasmine's attitude when she left and then came back, but something was different about Sam too, since Dean had come back from Hell.
It wasn't something that Dean could put his finger on as of yet, but he had the feeling that his younger brother was hiding something from him too. He wasn't going to press the matter with Sam as of yet, but Dean was going to get to the bottom of all these mysteries that were right in front of him. Bella's giggles brought Dean out of his thoughts and realized that she was pulling on his arm to go to the blanket with her. "All right, Bells. I am coming." Dean snorted letting Bella pull him to the blanket before raising a questioning eyebrow as she sat on the blanket.
Bella rolled her eyes before patting the blanket space beside her. "Well, come on, Dean, sit on the blanket with me. I am not going to bite." At those words Dean snorted before sitting down beside Bella and she grabbed his arm to wrap it around her waist with a smirk.
"And I am not cuddling, Bella." Dean remarked though he didn't pull his arm away from where Bella had wrapped it around her waist. She only giggled more and leaned against Dean more before pressing her lips to Dean's cheek and whispering something into his ear. Whatever Bella had said was making Dean smirk and wriggle his eyebrows at her like the two of them were the only ones on the beach at the moment.
"Of course we are not cuddling, Dean. I would never think that we were cuddling." Bella teased with a grin at Dean. He suppressed the urge to roll his eyes at Bella's teasing and instead of answering verbally Dean squeezed Bella's waist before grasping her chin in his free hand. He started to kiss her, removing any thoughts of the situation and other people that were surrounding them just like his kisses were capable of. Bella opened her mouth and let Dean deepen the kiss, both of them melting away into each other not seeing Sam and Jasmine coming out of the water.
The two were soaking wet and laughing with each other like two teenagers that were spending the day at the beach together. It wasn't well known if Sam and Jasmine were a couple or not, but it seemed that they were still dancing around each other like they had done before. This seemed to be the way that it always went between Sam and Jasmine since they were teenagers with them bouncing back and forth. They had started dating when Jasmine was almost sixteen and dated for a little over a year only to break up when Jasmine went down to Mexico. She was down there for six months on a hunt and didn't want Sam waiting on her if he could find someone else he liked as they would be apart for so long.
After those six months were up they started dating casually and only started getting serious again not long before Sam started at Stanford. That is when they broke up again as they decided it wouldn't be right especially when they weren't sure when they would actually meet up again. Jasmine had never really expected to see Sam again other than the times she checked on him while he was in college for both her and her father's sakes. It actually really upset her when she learned what had happened that night as she had seen Sam with Jessica from afar and had been happy because they both were. That is why it took them so long to get back together this last time as Jasmine had popped in and out helping the boys and Bella with cases while they were looking for John.
Jasmine didn't want to get in the way of Sam's grieving for Jessica and she just didn't want to be a rebound girl either, but she was there to give him her support. And that is exactly what Jasmine did in between cases even though she had to watch other females trying to get with Sam during that time. She was a little jealous of these females because they were trying to get with him while he was grieving, but still she let Sam have his space. Despite all of that she never let on that she was jealous though Dean's smirk sometimes hinted that he knew what was going through Jasmine's head. It seemed that Dean was enjoying pushing women at Sam like he was trying to push Jasmine and Sam back together.
That peculiar thing didn't happen until after John's death when Bella and Jasmine were trying so hard to keep both boys from going off the deep end. While all of them were trying to keep Dean from doing something stupid Jasmine was making it her personal mission to try and get Sam to open up to her. Sam kept pushing her away though which ended up in a blow up between Jasmine and him when he finally told her why. It all came down to what the yellow eyed demon had said when it had been possessing John before the fateful accident with the impala. The fact that the demon was taking and killing all the females that stood between him and Sam had Sam keeping Jasmine and Bella both at arms length which didn't go over with either girl especially Jasmine.
The fight between Jasmine and Sam was one for the record books, but had ended with the two of them disappearing together for whole night. They had straightened things out after that night the two were back to dating once again until the day that Jake killed Sam front of them. Jasmine had been so broken over Sam's death that neither Jasmine or Bella had noticed when Dean had gone to make the deal to trade his life for Sam's. It was hard for Jasmine to pretend like nothing had happened, but the two of them almost broke apart when Sam found out what Dean had done and she didn't tell him. She thought they had straightened things out, though it wasn't enough in the end to keep Sam from disappearing after they were unsuccessful at breaking Dean's deal.
It seemed the two were trying to forget the past and it wasn't going to be easy for them to pick up the pieces of the life they were trying to build. But if there was a couple that could bounce back from anything it was the two that was currently chuckling at the kissing Bella and Dean. Dean flipped off the two that were standing at the edge of the blanket not bothering to break the kiss with Bella which only caused the two to chuckle more. The moment that Dean and Bella decided to break the kiss the chuckles turned into laughter and a couple of wolf whistles from Sam and Jasmine.
"Really?" Dean remarked pulling away from Bella with his trademark smirk in place. "When did the two of you turn into a couple of immature teenagers?"
Jasmine rolled her eyes in response. "I have been like this all my life. Why should I change now, Dean?" There was a bright smirk on Jasmine's face as Dean sent her a glare in return showing that Jasmine wasn't bothered by him.
Bella rolled her eyes at the two that was still standing and motioned for them to sit down on the blanket with her and Dean to share in the picnic. When the couple didn't sit down right away Bella gave a sigh and then grabbed Jasmine's hand to pull her down right beside her forcing the other female to sit. This forced both Jasmine and Sam to sit down on the blanket with the other two to dry off from their swim before they all decided to eat. The four of them settled together with the sandwiches and various salads that they had gotten from the Swan house that morning. Bella poured all of them tall glasses of lemonade and soon they had devoured all the sandwiches and most of the salads as well.
They had just finished eating and Jasmine and Sam were packing what little there was left of the food and lemonade when others were starting to approach the beach. Bella and Dean had no idea that the four of them had company as they both turned to the water themselves while the other two cleaned up. Dean finally got to see what Bella had been wearing underneath her clothes as she has stripped out of to reveal a light blue two piece bathing suit. She was standing in the water to about knee height and was half way turned to Dean who was walking toward her and the water while removing his t-shirt. The two of them had basically gone into their own little world where only the other existed to the amusement of the two who was making sure everything was put away.
The youngest of the group had finally pulled the oldest of the group into the water with her only to be pulled over Dean's shoulder and swung around. Bella let out a squeal of laughter at Dean swinging her around like he was, not noticing that Jasmine and Sam had stopped talking with the group not being alone now. Dean had realized before Bella that some of the La Push local boys had wandered on to the beach and was watching the two of them in the water together. He immediately let Bella slide from his shoulder and turned so that she was behind him in a protective gesture that nobody could miss. Bella looked from around Dean's body to see Quil and Embry standing there looking at Bella completely puzzled at the company she was keeping.
She gave the two a small smile before stepping out from behind Dean to face both of the young shapeshifters. "Hello, Quil, Embry. How are you two?" She was to be polite to them for the fact that the four of them were on shapeshifter territory and for now they needed to keep the peace. Plus the young woman didn't really mind Quil and Embry because they weren't the ones she really had a problem with, it was Jake and his abandonment that she was still dealing with.
"Hello, Bella." Quil spoke for both of them giving Bella a shy smile before looking around at the other three that were present. "We are all right. Just walking around." The way he spoke Bella knew that they had been on patrol around the Rez to keep an eye out for Victoria.
"Who are your friends, Bella?" Embry asked softly looking around at Dean, Jasmine, and Sam with a confused look like he couldn't understand why they were there.
Bella knew that was coming and had to suppress the grin that she wanted to let free. "These are three of my oldest friends. Sam Winchester and Jasmine Singer… And Dean Winchester, my boyfriend." At her words about Dean being her boyfriend both Embry and Quil got an odd gaze mixed with a great look of surprise as well.
"Wait…" Embry spoke softly. "I think we are a little behind times. What happened to Cullen?" The look both Rez boys were wearing was now open shock as most of the pack considered her 'the vampire girl'.
At the glare Bella's companions were giving out this may have not been the best question to ask, but it had already been said. Bella answered though with a slight smirk that was strikingly familiar to Dean's smirk, "Honestly, Edward and I were on shaky ground for a long time. It's a long story, but Dean is the only one I want." The way she spoke laid no doubt that Bella meant every word she spoke to the two males in front of her especially with the way her eyes shined. She knew that everything she would say here would be repeated to Jake if he didn't show up himself before the four of them left. Bella wouldn't be surprised if Jake would show up soon as he always seemed to know when she was around and was always with Embry and Quil.
Both the two La Push boys looked over at the oldest male of the group of four and what they saw was quite shocking compared to how Edward use to act. While they could tell that Dean seemed protective of Bella like Cullen he also seemed to know when to let Bella handle things like right now. It was quite surprising to see a male hanging back and smirking while letting Bella handle things because not even Jake would hang back like Dean did. This Dean not only seemed comfortable that his position in Bella's life was unthreatened, but also confident that Bella could handle herself. Neither Edward or Jake liked to let Bella handle herself or the situations that always seemed to happen around her, but Quil and Embry could tell this man didn't mind standing off to the side.
Though the man was off to the side both boys could tell that Dean would come to Bella's aid if the female asked or really needed him. Their eyes raked over the other two that was with Bella and Dean and it was clear that the really tall man and woman with purple spiky hair was a couple. Both guys figured Sam and Dean was related in some way, probably brothers with the way they had been communicating silently with each other while Bella had been speaking to them. All three of the people were from what Quil and Embry could see were quite close to Bella and all four were protective of each other like they had never seen. They knew that if Jake saw this he just might hit the roof with how protective of Bella he was and so they hoped at the moment that he didn't show up.
"Well, Bella…" Quil started to speak. "Honestly, it is whatever makes you happy."
Embry nodded in agreement to Quil's words. "He is right and this guy seems a lot better than Edward. At least he is not a bloodsucker." he was trying to make a joke and was glad when the other four with them at least cracked a couple of smirks in his direction.
Bella suddenly froze and caused Dean, Sam, and Jasmine to turn and look in the direction she was now looking to see another La Push male, but with longer hair. No one had to tell them that this male was Jacob as the way he broke into a bright smile at seeing Bella standing with Quil and Embry. Before she could say a word, the young male had approached and picked her up and swung her around. "Bella, it is so good to see you." He wouldn't put her down at first and hugged her close until she could barely breathe before putting her back on her feet with a grin. "So, what are you doing here, Bella? I missed seeing you the past couple of weeks. So did Cullen give you a day pass or something?" He spoke like he didn't even notice the Winchesters and Jasmine.
"Bells don't need a day pass…" Dean's rumbled voice cut in and Bella could tell Dean was completely pissed. From that Bella could tell their wonderful picnic at First Beach was turning into an utter disaster.
