Chapter 12 ~ Ambush! Plan A!

"Eva!" Ms. Tsukino yelled as her white haired servant ran to her.

"Yes ma'am?"

"The girls and I will be going to the city for a while, I leave you in charge of the house." the black haired female spoke as she entered her truck.

Eva nodded as she closed the door behind Ms. Tsukino, Usagi, Ami, and Minako walking out of the house with a couple of bags.

Mamoru followed them.

"Eva, please put the girls' bags in the trunk." Ms. Tsukino spoke.

"No need for her to do that, I will." the black haired male smiled as he looked over at Eva.

"Mamoru . . . " Ms. Tsukino spoke.

"Really, I will." Mamoru spoke as he took the girls' bags and set them in the trunk of the car.

Once completed, he closed the hood and opened the door to the truck so the girls could enter.

Ms. Tsukino smiled, looking over at Usagi.

"I don't understand why you don't like him. He's such a gentleman."

Usagi sighed as she entered the truck after Minako, an image of Trunks appearing in her head.

"Usagi . . . "

"Huh?!"

"Hurry up!" Ami groaned.

"Ah, right!" the blonde shook her head as she entered the vehicle, Ami following.

Mamoru then closed the door as soon as the girls were seated and walked to the driver's seat, opening it and settling down.

Eva closed the door for the gentleman then stepped back.

"Eva, remember! You're in charge! I expect a sharp, clean house when I return!" Ms. Tsukino yelled once again as the car took off.

Eva nodded as she waved off to the truck.

"Are we there yet?" Goku's voice took over the atmosphere.

"We're close." Trunks' deep and husky voice answered.

The three Z Fighters had been riding their horses for about ten minutes now. Trunks had to remind his friends that horses weren't cars and that their destination was far as well. Gohan didn't like the fact of riding his horse, he wished he could fly as he used to before, but due to so many new people in the area, the three didn't want to startle anyone and tried to sync in. Horses were commonly used around the area as well, so that made them sync in more. But . . . the city's residents weren't the only thing why the tree had to sync in . . . someone was going-

'We're here." Trunks interrupted Gohan's thoughts as their horses came into a halt.

Goku looked up at the palace, it seemed much larger in the daylight than it did in the moonlight.

Gohan smiled, "Finally!" he thought.

Without further adieu, the three fighters horses' began galloping towards the palace, towards the gates. There, the warriors jumped off of their horses and gave them a pat of thanks. First came thanks with a pat, then food. There was not much time since the warriors were due back to their bakery by night. They had so many customers to attend and didn't like the thought of loosing one of them since money was so tight when it came to them.

The three warriors approached the gates, Trunks stepping up as leader, he knocked on the gates furiously, turning super saiyan. Goku and Gohan looked at each other and nodded, their hair turning to blonde spikes as well.

"Open!" Trunks yelled as he furiously pushed the door open.

The three of them stood frozen . . . had it been open all this time?

Trunks shook his head as he began to walk in, his hands charging up ki blasts to whoever came up to him. As leader, he had to protect his clan. The two other Z Fighters followed closely behind the lavender headed warrior, their hands also charging ki blasts.

The group managed to make to the front doors of the palace entrance. Their destination! Finally! Trunks began to walk up to the doors but froze when he heard the crunch of a leaf. Gohan and Goku jumped up as Trunks ran over to them.

"No one . . . move a muscle." Trunks whispered as the three stood back to back, their hands sticking out, ready to fire whoever came to them.

Trunks breathed heavily as he sweated, "Have we been caught?!"
