After flying lessons that day, Annabeth met her friends in the common room between classes.
"Guys, this is going to sound very un-Annabeth of me, but I'm skipping Divination. To go to the Forbidden Forest," Annabeth smirked. It was fun to be rebellious.
"Wow, really?" They all replied.
"Are you coming with me?"
"I'm in!" said Percy, Leo and Jason.
"Fine." Said Piper.
"Mmmm, okay," said Frank and Hazel.
So, they snuck to the forests entrance.
"This is terrifying." Said Frank.
"You're a Gryffindor! Man up!" Leo said.
They all descended into the dark forest. The air smelled like pine, and the trees almost blocked out any sunlight. Frank suddenly stopped in his tracks.
"Annabeth, don't look," he whispered.
She looked up anyway, to find a giant spider. She screamed and ran, the other six following her. She finally stopped and caught her breath.
"Centaurs. That's why we're here. Centaurs." She said.
"Okay, let's find them." Percy said.
They then descended back into the forest, their eyes peeled for half horse half men.
