Jun Pyo shot Ga Eul a deathly glare and was all ready to start a war with her when Jan Di stopped him and thus preventing the start of World War III. Which was kind of weird as Jan Di was kind of hot headed too and the one thing that she could not stand is anyone degrading her or her family members. With a shove, Jan Di pushed a spluttering Jun Pyo out of the lounge. She then spun around and threw Ga Eul her signature death glare.
"I do not appreciate how you mock us commoners. Do you, as a chaebol even understand our pains. Where we have to work very hard and even to an extent of taking up multiple jobs just to put food on the table. Obviously not. With just a ring of a bell, you can have a a full Korean Course delivered right up to you..."

Ga Eul was obviously affronted by what Jan Di say and attempted to explain herself. Don't they understand? The lines between the chaebol and the commoners can never be blurred. It is impossible and out of the world. Once the lines become blurred, many happy families will be broken. Just like hers. Little kids will be left with no mothers. Just like her. This cannot happen... Commoners break up happy marriage. Just like her parents'. Commoners break up families. Just like hers'. Commoners break little girls' hearts and turn them into little fragile dolls hiding behind ice sculptures. Just like her. Don't they understand. Commoners and Chaebols, as much as they start with the same letter "C", are from two different worlds. And if they ever come together... It results in a catastrophe with a capital "C". Many thoughts ran across her head but at that moment, none would come out. She knew that the root of misunderstanding already stated to grow, and the best way was to nip it at the bud… but now is not the time nor the place to spill her hearts out. So she did the only thing she could.

She ran. Ignoring the questioning stare from Jan Di, the loud threats Jun Pyo spluttered out. She ran as fast as her legs could take her. Where that may be? She did not care. All that matter was she get far away from that lounge as well as the memories from her past that kept replaying in her head.

Back at the F4 lounge

Jun Pyo was fuming. Yes, there were literally fumes and smoke coming out of his ears. He vaguely resembled a steam train. He was pacing too, back and fro back and fro.

"Yah! Gu Jun Pyo! Can you stop walking around? You are distracting me from my thoughts! Take the pacing outside!" Jan Di shouted out in annoyance.

"What do you mean distracting you? You are the one disturbing the Great Jun Pyo at work! I am currently thinking of ways to make that snobby, bitchy, bratty Chu Heiress suffer for being mean to my darling girlfriend. And here you are, not appreciating whatever I am doing for you. Aish! Why did I get myself such an ungrateful girlfriend….."

"Something probably happened. Her past haunts her. I can see it from her eyes," a voice cut the couple's bickering. Yoon Ji Hoo sat in the corner of the longue, casually munching on an apple. He is the most perceptive of the F4. Usually the quiet one of the group, but Yoon Ji Hoo is not one to be belittled. He is calm, collected and always analyses the situation very well.

Jan Di nods, agreeing to his conclusion, "I agree. As much as I am not as sensitive as Ji Hoo, I saw the look in her eyes as I was talking to her. It was one of vulnerability. I felt as though she was having conflicting thoughts in her head and her resolve was crumbling. Maybe that's why she ran… Come to think of it, where did she go? She did not come in her car, and the streets are so dark now. Would she be okay?"

Before Ji Hoo could respond with something sensible, Jun Pyo jumped on the couch cuddling his girlfriend, " Aish my Jan Di is so adorable. She is so caring and sweet too! That's why I love her!" and attempted to smother her with kisses. Jan Di turned an adorable shade of red and started hitting him. Their laughter was heard resounding around the lounge.

Ji Hoo looked on at their interaction with a tight smile. On one hand he was happy for his friends, on the other; he could not get over that small feeling of hurt nibbling at the corner of his heart. He knew that he should let go of his feelings for Jan Di since the latter already has her happily ever after, and find someone else for himself, but he can't. It was easier said than done. He needed to leave the room, to get some fresh air, and also away from the happy couple on the couch and their happy giggles that continue to puncture holes on his fragile heart. He got into his car and enjoyed a slow cruise along the streets of Seoul when he came across a peculiar sight and worrying sight.

At a certain XXX Bar in Seoul, in a room reserved just for the F4

Yi Jung sat at the table downing any drink that the bartender could offer him, while his best friend Song Woo Bin sat by his side and watched with a painful heart.

"I should have said something more. More than just the mere words I threw at her. They were like child's play as compared to the sharp daggers she threw at Jan Di. What time and age are we at now? Why does she have to be so mean towards Jan Di? Furthermore, that was my best Friend's girl. I should have said more. I should have jumped in to protect her too. What was I, a coward? I should have stood up for her! Commoners are humans too. They should not be treated with disdain! Heck most of them are even more hardworking than us chaebols are. Who is she to judge? It is people like her that make Jan Di's life difficult. That drove Eun Jae away…." Yi Jung knew that he was incoherent and probably a little drunk, but he just had to get it off his heart.

Beside him, Woo Bin sighed. He knew that Ga Eul words affected Yi Jung. Not just on the level of her hurting his friend Jan Di, but also how he reminded him of Eun Jae, how Eun Jae was treated. It always haunted him how the F4 never managed to find Eun Jae. He was Prince Song for god's sake. The Prince of the Underground Mafia World. How is it possible that with the power and abilities of the F4 added together, Yi Jung's precious Eun Jae was still nowhere to be found. It hurts him to know that he failed his friend.

Just then, their phones rang. (Yes, you read it right. It is the "phones" rang as both ranged at the same time). Both guys got out of their seats and walked towards a corner of the room to answer the call.

On the side of Yi Jung

It was an unknown number. Yi Jung did not know why, but he had chills run down his back as he started at his phone. Maybe it was the fact that it was an unknown number, but this call gave him chills. And it hit him almost instantaneously that it would not be good news. Taking a deep breath, he answered his phone, "…hello?"

"Hello, is this So Yi Jung's phone? This is Chu Jong Shik, Ga Eul's grandfather. Is Ga Eul with you? I hope so. It is rather late and she has yet to return home. She is with you right?"

On the side of Woo Bin

The caller was Ji Hoo.

"It's Ga Eul. Something happened to her. I need back up."

Both guys exchanged glances. They knew what they need to do. They needed to put aside the pain and the pain that Ga Eul caused. Her wellbeing came first. Ga Eul might have hurt them in some way or another. But the fact that she was Yi Jung's fiancé, she is under F4's care now. And no one hurt the F4's people. No One. The F4 would see to that.

Hi Guys,

Littlemissdiehardfan here. I am sorry for this super late update here. Things happened…. But don't worry. I am back. It took me awhile to remember the flow that I have planned for this story. I sincerely apologize for that. I really appreciate the reviews that you guys left for me. They keep me on my feet, and also fueled my desire to continue this story, to find more inspiration to make the chapters more interesting. I understand that my chapters are not as long as some other fanfics on this site. For that… I am really sorry too. I will improve. I will try. After reading some of the reviews, I thought I needed to clear up some stuff. This story is my own take. It is not related to the drama. So Ga Eul and Jan Di are not childhood friends. Jan Di still got her scholarship to Shinhwa though and the love triangle between her, Jun Pyo and Ji Hoo still transited. I hope this clears up some confusion. Once again I am really thankful for the support. Please continue to read and review! All reviews are welcomed! And do give feedback too! Thank you so much. Much loves(:
