Summary: Morgan noticed that Reid started to develop expensive taste. But then things changed again and Morgan decide that he will take his chances and confess his feelings to Spencer. But what about his concern about being able to give the Genius the finer things in life.

The change in Reid had happened so fast that at first I hadn't even noticed. Which, for me, was surprising because I watched the kid every day, it was a side effect of lusting after him. It had started simple. First it was a new watch. Then there was the solid gold ring that he started wearing. After a year of new clothing and jewelry I finally broke down and tried to figure out what was going on.

"Reid is that a Platinum credit card?"

"Huh…oh yeah it is." I noticed the blush.

"So…"

"I'm dating someone and he insist that I use it."

The kid had turned so many shades of red that I left it alone.

Then another year later things changed again. Spence stopped carrying the credit card that he had been given. His mood changed and instantly I knew what happened. This is your chance Derek.

I called Reid into my office and asked him to take a seat. He looked perplexed so I got straight to the point.

"So you and Robert broke up?" He didn't respond, but the change in body language answered for him.

"Spencer there is something that I need to tell you." I took a deep breath and plunged forward, "I have feelings for you…strong feelings. And I have had them for a long time. I know my timing is horrible, but if I don't do this now a great opportunity will pass me by."

"What are you saying Morgan?"

I went around the desk and kneeled before the younger man. "I'm saying that I want to be with you Spence. I want to spend my days with my Pretty Boy. If you will have me that is." The nervousness that I had felt before grew as I waited for his response.

"Morgan you don't know how long I have waited to hear those words."

My response was to give the award winning smile that I knew made Spence always return it with one of his own.

"But there is one thing I can't give you all the things that Robert did. Don't get me wrong. I can provide for you and make you happy, and I want to spend my life doing that. But the extravagant gifts once a week, I don't think I can do it."

"Morgan there are finer things in life than expensive jewelry and credit cards."

"Like what?" Was my whispered response as I played with his fingers.

"Like happiness, friendship, love, and…well you." I couldn't help but look up after hearing that last one. And when his gaze met mine Spence smiled a smile that I hadn't seen in two years."

"Very well put Pretty Boy. And it's Derek."

"Huh?"

"If we are going to do this, it's no longer Morgan. It's Derek. My name is Derek, call me Derek."

"Okay…Derek." And at the sound of my name I couldn't help but kiss him.
