"So..." A man with a buff physique he didn't mind flaunting, blue eyes, and nice hair leaned over the counter, swirling the top with his index finger. "Wanna spend time together? You, me, tonight." His teeth shone like the stars, his chest heaved like an oxen, and the sweat on the back of his neck... well, that was just sweat really.
Frankly, he was disgusting to her. She looked at him, disturbed. Her hair was tied back in a luscious long pony tail that swayed a bit as she moved backwards. Her outfit was revealing as ever, but she was more modest about the way she wore it now since she was, after all, a married woman. "Uh, Raven!" She called over her shoulder, her eyes narrowing slightly.
Raven appeared from the forge, blazing blowtorch in hand. He lifted the welding mask from his face, the scar on his face becoming nice and evident. "Someone bothering you Rena?"
The man who'd been flirting with Rena went pale, every ounce of blood draining away. "Uh...! N-No!" He ran off and out the door before anything could happen to him.
With a giggle, Rena planted a kiss on Raven's cheek, making him blush. "Thank you Raven!"
And so, they were now months past the end of the competition! It had been so peaceful in town. The disputes had long since ended, for an obvious reason of course.
"Rena, I'm taking off now!" Elsword called from the other side of the place. In passing time, the two owners had merged their businesses together, working alongside the other throughout the days. The new name? Titanium Gears; a cheesy, odd name, but it compromised both businesses perfectly. Rena took charge with scheduling and advertisement for most if it, sometimes innovating, and the other four worked on new ideas as well as crafting and forging. It was much more profitable for the two businesses to become married, and so much more could be done.
"Yeah, go on ahead." Rena was adding details to a sign for a future sale approaching them.
Elsword walked over to the door and touched the handle. "Wait..." As soon as a thought came to him, he turned around and headed for the back room.
The walls were covered in a deep green wallpaper with floral designs. In the corner, Chung sat at a desk with some metal parts before him. Blueprints were plastered out beneath the metal, and a pencil was slowly rolling off the table. In his hands, he held a screwdriver and was meticulously screwing a screw in.
"Chung," Elsword patted the doorframe as he peered in, "wanna come with Aisha and I–"
"No." Before Elsword could even finish, Chung answered with no emotion. "Just leave."
The redhead crossed his arms. Chung had survived the first few weeks away from Eve well, but eventually the boy's mood began to sour as others interacted with him. "Hey now, do I talk to you like that? Show some respect for you friends, Chung."
With a sigh, the blonde placed down his things and rested a hand on his lap. "Sorry Elsword... I guess... I'm still in the dumps."
"Well, it's time to get out of the dumps!" Elsword replied, to which the blonde frowned with downcast eyes. "See you later dude. I'll bring home some ice cream for you!"
Chung waved a hand to the exiting boy and silently returned to his work.
The day sun burst through the door as our, now eighteen-year-old, redheaded protagonist stepped onto the dirt road. It was bright, but not as bright as the amused smile on his face when he noticed his beautiful girlfriend shining brighter than anything else. Unlike the normal dark-colored dress with the white frill, she wore a beautiful crimson colored one like the color of his hair with white frill and matching tights. Her hair was a little neater than normal and carefully pinned back with tiny bobby pins.
When Aisha saw her boyfriend, she waved towards him. "Hey Elsword."
"Hey."
"Guess what?"
He raised an eyebrow at her, smirking. "Nah, I'm going to ask 'who' instead."
A strangely sweet smile grew on her face and she slapped his arm. Then, with one hand, she pulled up her left sleeve and lifted her left arm, bringing a small clock on a brown leather strap to eye level. "You. Are." Her eyebrow furrowed, " Late!" She tapped on the clock, pointing out the current time. Ten past the designated time.
It was always like this with these two.
"I really did try this time, Aish'." Elsword pouted. "I was giving Chung a strict talking to about respect."
"Oh, give him a break. He's still bothered by her departure." Aisha slapped him on the arm again.
"After this many months?"
Her cheeks puffed slightly. "W-Well, you should still be nice to him!"
For a second, it was just Aisha looking at him with round cheeks and Elsword staring back at her. Then, once it seemed like she'd run out of air, he reached out for her hand. "Let's go hang out by the fountain!"
"Elsword! I'm serious!" Trying hard, she couldn't pull her hand away from his grasp.
"Hey, I'm just being normal!" Was his reply with a slight tug on her arm. "He's the one acting weird. Besides, he'll be back to his normal self next week. Trust me"
"I highly doubt that, you crazy boy."
With a challenging look, he glanced at her. "Are you really sure about that?"
Aisha suddenly stopped and wore a worried expression. "... What are you planning?"
"Nothing! Now let's go—"
Using her free hand, she grabbed some of the fluff on his shoulder and gripped it tight. "Tell me. Now."
"Well..." He smiled somewhat impishly at her. How bad could it really be? "You could say that Chung's special girl may or may not have asked for a job under our business after she resigns as Minister."
Aisha almost had her eyes roll out of her head. They were so wide, and the whites of her eyes were clear as the day. "You're kidding!"
"Maybe I am." Elsword shrugged as Aisha released him. "And maybe I'm also kidding when I say it wasn't for his sake at all."
"What?! Oh... Poor Chung..."
He laughed out loud wholeheartedly. "Like I told you, I might be kidding! Of course, she's coming back for him!" It really was fun to mess around with Aisha like the good old days. "Ha! You should've seen your face just now!"
Blushing furiously, Aisha grabbed his wrist. "Idiot. Come on, let's get going!"
"Alright, I love you too Aish'." He grinned before letting her drag him off.
And so, together, the two headed off into the town.
Once upon a time, there was a world filled with many different towns that contained many different cultures, twisted or sane as they may be.
There were two engineering businesses that were always fighting with each other until the very end, and it caused many events to happen.
There was a boy who learned the meaning of truly living life. He lives to his fullest with all the joy in the world.
There was a girl who finally understood what it meant to love others. She's been freed from the chains holding her back.
There was a lady who experienced true kindness from her enemies. Because of that mercy, she's living with a successful business and a wonderful husband.
And there were people, some who died deaths unknown to the world, others who lived on. They made up the few in the world, and the many in the world.
Once upon a time, there was a world filled with many different towns that contained many different cultures. Not one could fully fathom this world's ways, not one could grasp the insanity and oddity of this world in the palms of their hands. And yet, all still reached out to touch something that mattered to them.
And this was their long and adventurous journey through it all...
To become the pilots of their time.
Fin.
