Gasp! A new chapter after only 3 weeks? I'm just as amazed as you probably are. Anyway, Happy Daylight Savings time, if you live in a place that actually does that. I'm ChrisATD1, but you already knew that, and now that the real fifth season of Total Drama is halfway done, at least in the US, I've gotta ask my readers. What do you guys think of it so far? Personally, I'm enjoying it. Be sure to tell me your opinions on it in a review or a PM, because I'm very curious. Now that that's done, let's start chapter 23! Oh, BTW, I totally called the Courtney and Scott thing. Go back to chapter 13 if you don't believe me. Lol
The camera points at Chris as he is seated in his trailer that is trailing the Total Drama Double-Decker and the pickup that's hauling the trailer.
"Last time on Total Drama Avengeance!" the Host started as the picture changed to show the events of the previous episode as Chris described them.
"The contestants were put into the Total Drama VR Machine, and were transformed into cute, cuddly, and powerful creatures, called Pokémon!" (Shows each of the contestants as their respective Pokémon)
"Then they had to do battle! Old Team vs. New Team!" (Shows the respective teams facing each other)
"Of course, since the New Team was down a member, they had Cody the Sandshrew as their temporary teammate." (Shows the Sandshrew making his entrance)
"Both teams went the distance until there were three members left on each team." (Shows the final 3 members that were left on each team)
"That was when, Total Drama creator, Mr. Tom McGillis, stepped in and made the fantastic suggestion of making the final battle, a triple battle!" (Shows Tom McGillis dropping down to the ground as Arceus)
"And the winners of that triple battle were the Old Team!" (Shows Katie the Beartic defeating Dawn the Lilligant with an Icy Wind attack)
"This sent the New Team to their sixth Elimination Ceremony of the season!" (Shows the New Team in front of Chris, Sierra, and Chef)
"And after revealing that the votes were tied between Zoey and Brick, Brick volunteered to be eliminated…again." (Shows Brick getting into the Copter of Shame)
The picture focuses back on Chris in his trailer as he sighs and shakes his head.
"Oh, that Brick," he said, "So cordial, so chivalrous, so…dense! He was so close to being safe and he decides to eliminate himself voluntarily from possibly winning five million bucks because it's…the right thing to do? Ha! If I was in his shoes, I wouldn't have even thought about sacrificing myself. Ha!"
"I don't know," Sierra said off-screen, "I thought it was a pretty noble decision. I'm sure if Cody was in the same position, he would have done the same thing. Oh Cody…"
"Well, either way, Brick's gone. And now that he's gone, the New Team is down two people, once again. But, I don't think it's gonna matter this time around. You wanna know why I think that? Find out, right now on…"
"Total!"
"Drama!"
"Avengeance!"

The Top Deck
It was mid-morning and all five members of the New Team were awake, however all five contestants were quiet on their ride.

Zoey - "There's been a lot of tension since Brick's elimination last night. Right after the ceremony, we tried to talk to Anne Maria…"
*Static*
Last Night
Anne Maria was sitting in a seat, on the Top Deck, with her face in her knees. The rest of the New Team members were looking at her with worry. After a while, Zoey got up from her seat and walked to Anne Maria and sat down next to her.
"Anne Maria," she said with a quiet tone, "I feel awful that Brick sacrificed himself for me, I really do. But, I know that he wants you to stay strong and carry on, just like the rest of us want you to."
Zoey's words seemed to not phase through to Anne Maria.
"Come on, Anne Maria," she continued, "I know you kinda liked Brick and everything, but after what happened with Scott-"
"Ya knew dat I like Brick?" the Jersey Girl said into her knees.
"Yeah! Come on, we're both girls. I can tell when another girl likes a guy."
"Ya knew dat I like Brick…and you still let him get eliminated instead 'a you?"
"Uhh…well…"
"So what? Is dat, like, payback for me kissin' Mike a few times?"
"What?! No, I wasn't-"
"You just can't let me be happy and have a boyfriend, can you?"
"That's not-"
"Zoey, I think it would be better if you stopped talkin' to me."
"But, Anne-"
"I said," Anne Maria said before picking her head up from her knees and faced Zoey with an angry look on her face and fire eyes, "DON'T TALK TA ME!" [1]
The sudden outburst forced Zoey to get up and go back to her original seat next to Mike.
*Static*
Zoey - "…After that, the rest of the night was really awkward. But, I guess I can see where she's coming from. After Scott's elimination, Anne Maria and I were becoming friends, or we were having a more positive relationship at least, and now that's gone." *Tears start to form in her eyes* "All because I allowed Brick to eliminate himself for me." *She covers her eyes with her hands* "I'm such a terrible teammate."

The Bottom Deck
While the Top Deck of the Double Decker was full of tension, the Bottom Deck was the complete opposite. Everyone on the Old Team was enjoying their amazing quarters in the vehicle before an all too familiar voice was heard from the PA system in the bus.
"Good morning, contestants!" Chris half-yelled through the speakers, "Just letting you guys know that we're very close to where our next challenge will take place. Also, there will be a big announcement made once we get there. So, see ya when we get there. McLean out!"
"I wonder if he knows how lame that outro sounds now," Justin said.
"Did it ever sound not lame to begin with?" Eva asked.
"Good point."
"I wonder what the big announcement is," Geoff chimed in.
"If I had to hazard a guess, I'd say it has something to do with the merge," Noah said.
"Hey, yeah!" Tyler shouted, "We are pretty close to merge time. There have already been ten eliminations, so we're pretty much halfway through the season."
"True, but we also haven't had anyone return to the game," Katie said, "So, it could be that too."
"Well, we'll know for sure once we get to wherever we're going, eh," said Ezekiel as the bus continued to roll down the highway.

Katie - "-then this would be the first time-"

Ezekiel - "-that I made it to the merge officially-"

Katie - "-Sadie-"

Ezekiel - "-Beth-"

Noah - "-Sadie, if anyone. Just so Katie can be a little bit happier."

Eva - "-just so I can eliminate her, myself."

Tyler - "Definitely Staci! She deserves to return since she was cheated out."
*Static*
Geoff - "I'd definitely want Bridge to return."
*Static*
Justin - "If anyone should return, it should be Trent! Drama Bros for life! In fact, since Cody's still here, if Trent returns today, we could have a Drama Brothers reunion, except Harold wouldn't be here. Eh, I wouldn't mind. I always thought Harold was the worst singer of the group. Maybe we could replace him with someone else, like…Alejandro!" *He shakes his head* "Nah, the group's already got the incredibly pretty guy with me. Maybe someone like…"

Cockpit of the Total Drama Double Decker
Cody was seated in the passenger side seat while Chef was driving from the driver's seat.
"Hey, Chef," the Geek said, "You wouldn't happen to know what the big announcement is, would you?"
"Sure do," Chef answered.
"Cool. Could you tell me what it is?"
"Nope."
"Aww…why not?"
"Spoilers."
"D'aw!"
Parking Lot of a cheap hotel in Louisville, Kentucky
All of the contestants, along with Chef and Cody, were off of the bus and standing outside waiting for Chris and Sierra to walk out of the trailer. Meanwhile, some of the contestants started to survey the area.
"This seems like a weird place for a challenge," Noah said taking notice of the vacant hotel that the bus was parked in front of.
"Yeah," Eva agreed, "What kind of challenge could we possibly have at an empty hotel?"
"I could name some things, but none of them would meet the rating of this show," Justin commented before Chris and his intern walked out of the trailer.
"Alright, contestants," the Host started as Sierra made her way to Cody, "Who's ready for some good news?"
"Good news for us or good news for you?" Katie asked.
"Yes!" he answered, "I hope you guys are ready for this, because, as of this moment, both teams are disbanded!"
Nearly all of the contestants cheered after hearing the announcement.
"Yes! I've finally made it to a merge!" Katie shouted jubilantly.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! I didn't say anything about a merge," Chris said.
The contestants questioned this.
"But, you said that the teams were disbanded," Mike said.
"That's right, the Old Team and New Team are disbanded, to be replaced by multiple teams of two! I would have said that, had you guys not interrupted me," the Host said slightly annoyed, "Now, starting with today's challenge, we're gonna have some challenges with the pair teams, called pair challenges, in which the victorious pair, or pairs, will be immune from elimination. The remaining pairs will be up for elimination, but only one contestant from a losing pair will be eliminated. This is kinda like the merge, but not really. Is that clear to all you guys?"
The group of contestants responded with positive answers.
"Great! Onto the actual challenge, which I'm sure you all are dying to know about."
"Oh yeah," said the sarcastic Bookworm, "We're all just begging to know."
"Well, since you all wanna know so badly, I'll just say it. Today, each pair, one dude and one dudette, will be hitched and have to live together for a whole day as a married couple."
Nearly every contestant was wide-eyed after hearing the description for the challenge.
"Ha-ha! The looks on some of your faces! Priceless! Ha-ha-ha!"
"Ha…ha…ha…Ok, Mr. Comedian, you had your fun at our expense," Noah said, "Now, what's the real challenge?"
"Oh, I wasn't jokin', Noah. That really is your challenge. Ha-ha!" [2]
"What?! But, how does being married for a day count as a challenge?" Mike asked.
"Well, according to the US Records, the state of Kentucky has the fourth highest divorce rates out of all 50 states, so it's definitely a challenge to stay married in this state, even if it is for just one day. Ha-ha! But, there will also be some random events happening to each married couple, which may give the couple an easier or more difficult time. Imagine it being like a real life game of…Life, or like the Tri-Armed Triathlon challenge from season one, but instead of handcuffs and keys, you'll have a marriage keeping you together, and divorce as a means of escape."
"Oh yeah! I remember that challenge," Geoff chimed in.
"Well, it was the challenge you got eliminated on," Sierra said, "I think those are the challenges that you remember the most."
All of the current and former contestants agreed with that statement.
"Ahem! Can I continue?" the Host asked before continuing, "Now, in order to get immunity, you'll have to be seen as one of the three best couples by the judges, i.e., Chef and myself, which basically means that the four pairs that we deem as the worst couples will be up for elimination. We will be judging you by every move you make and every step you take during this challenge, so keep that in mind. Lastly, if a pair demands a divorce, then that pair will automatically be up for possible elimination. So…are you guys ready?"
This question was met with mixed answers.
"Alrighty then! I want all the guys to go to my right and the girls to go to my left."
After a minute, Geoff, Noah, Ezekiel, Mike, Justin, Tyler, and B were standing to Chris's right, while Dawn, Zoey, Katie, Eva, and Anne Maria stood to his left.
"Now, I can already tell what some of you guys are thinking. Yes, we are short two girls at the moment. That's why I've brought these two ladies down here to be today's Cameo Contestants! Come on out ladies!"
One of the hotel doors opened up to reveal two original female Total Drama contestants. One of which, was very happy to see a familiar face.
"Tyler!" she shouted before running towards him.
"Lindsay!" the Jock shouted back as he opened his arms, waiting for his girlfriend to embrace him.
Everything started to go in slow motion and romantic music started to play as the Dumb Princess got closer to her prince. Once she got really close, she managed to land her foot on a small rock, which caused her to lose her balance and fall into her boyfriend, making them both fall to the ground and stopping the music.
"Ow!" They said simultaneously as they landed.
"Yeah, Lindsay is a cameo contestant for this challenge!" Chris announced.
"Ex-cuse me? Aren't you forgetting someone?" a sassy sounding voice asked off-screen.
"Aaaalong with LeShawna!" the Host finished.
"Thank you, Chris!" she said as the camera panned over to show her waving to the rest of the contestants. "Hey y'all! LeShawna's in the house!"
"Yes, yes you are. Now, I'm gonna need you and Trippy to go stand with the rest of the ladies to my left."
"I'ight! Come on, Lindsay," the Sistah said as she started to walk towards the group of girls. Meanwhile, a sound could be heard coming from the ground, which made LeShawna stop in her tracks and look down. "Ugh! Come on, girl! You can make out with Tyler some other time!"

Lindsay - "I'm soooo glad to see Tyler again! It's been soooo long since we've seen each other, but now, I can finally remember what he looks like and what his name is! I just hope I can remember everyone else's names too. Maybe LeFawnda can help me with that."
*Static*
LeShawna - "Ya know. I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but I actually kinda miss being on this show. Or maybe I just missed some of the people on the show. Either way, it feels good to be back for this challenge. Shawnie's in it ta win it, baby!"
*Static*
All seven male and female contestants were on their respective sides with Chris and his "cohorts" in the middle.
"Alright! Now, I'll announce who the pairs are for today's challenge," the Host announced, "Once I call your name, come to the middle and stand next to your partner in front of me. Now, since I'm a nice person-"
Some snickers were heard from the contestants.
"-I'll have all of the couples be paired up for this challenge. So, Noah and Katie, Tyler and Lindsay, Mike and Zoey, and Dawn and B, line up in front of me."
All four couples did as they were told.
"Aww! You two are a couple! That is soooo cute!" Lindsay said to Katie and Noah.
"Hee-hee! Thanks, Lindsay!" Katie responded with a giggle, "It's great to see that you and Tyler are still going strong."
"Thanks, Kara!" the blonde replied, "By the way, how's Sarah doing?"
"Uhh…"

Tyler - "Well…at least she got the first letters right." *He chuckles nervously*

"Now for the rest of the pairs," Chris continued, "Ezekiel and…Eva!"
Both original contestants made their way to the center and nervously looked away from each other as they stood together.
"Next are…Geoff and LeShawna, and lastly, Justin and Anne Maria."
Geoff and LeShawna stood next to each other and high-fived each other, while Justin stood on the line, looking at himself in his signature mirror. Anne Maria stood next to him with a look of sadness and disappointment on her face.
"Um, Chris," Cody said, "I thought you said that I was gonna be needed for the next few challenges."
"Oh right, I almost forgot. As a bonus for the fans, I'll allow the pair of Sierra and Cody to participate in this challenge so they can be 'married' again," the Host announced.
"Wha?!" both of them shouted, although with different emotion behind it.
"Oh, this will be my dreams for the last 4 years coming true! Again!" the Obsessive Fan announced as she hugged her self-acclaimed dream husband, who was just frozen from shock.

Cody - "I feel like I'm just here to keep Sierra company, or just to keep her sane, like I'm her chew toy or something."
*Static*
Sierra - "This will be the second time that Cody and I will be 'married' on the show. The first time was technically real, since I was an actual minister when I got Cody to say 'I do' in season three, episode 19, but since then, his parents had the marriage annulled, my minister title revoked, and placed the restraining order on me, all in the same court case." *She sighs* "But I know Mister and Misses Anderson love me on the inside."
*Static*
Justin - "…Tyler could possibly be a good Drama Bro. But, he's probably pretty clumsy when it comes to dancing, and we can't have that."
*Static*
"So, we've got our eight couples," Chris announced to the contestants, "I guess now would be a good time to officially start the challenge, with a quick octo-wedding!"
5 Minutes Later
Chef had the Elimination Ceremony podium in front of him, and in front of the podium stood all eight couples, side-by-side, in a line. Each person in each couple faced their 'significant other' and held each other's hands, as is tradition.
"With the power vested in me, by Fresh TV and Total Drama," Chef Hatchet said, "I now pronounce y'all, husbands and wives, for this challenge. You may now kiss your bride."
None of the true couples had any trouble kissing each other (although, some were more passionate than others), Sierra jerked Cody towards her as soon as Chef said the word 'kiss', and Geoff and LeShawna gave each other a quick peck on the lips.
Confession Cam
*Static*
Geoff - "Bridge and LeShawna are good friends, so I'm sure she won't mind that little kiss, especially since it's for a challenge. Besides, Bridge's kisses are much better than any little peck."
*Static*
Justin - "Maybe Geoff could replace Harold. I remember him sounding pretty good, singing-wise. Oh…wait. Then we'd have Bridgette as a permanent groupie, which might decrease the groupies that the rest of us get. No Yoko Ono for this singing group."
*Static*
The other two pairs were a little more reluctant to kiss.
"Do we really have to kiss?" Justin asked.
"Yeah, I think Homeschool may have froze on me," Eva said as she waved her hand in front of Ezekiel's frozen, wide-eyed face.
"Yes, you have to kiss. That's how the 'marriage' becomes official," Chris said, "or do you want to be automatically put on the chopping block?
This alerted all four contestants.
"I didn't come this far to lose," the Male Model thought to himself.
"I promised Brick dat I'd try my hardest ta win, no matta what," Anne Maria thought.
"I'm not gonna lose now, just because of a stupid kiss. But, it just had to be with Ezekiel…," the Bodybuilder thought to herself.
"I've never kissed a girl befur! What if I'm a terrible kisser? What if Eva punches my lights out after we kiss? That would be very, very painful!" Ezekiel thought as he gulped nervously.
All four contestants closed their eyes, puckered up their lips, and started to move their faces closer to the other's face. With Justin and Anne Maria, their kiss was done as soon as they felt their lips touch.
"Alright, that just leaves Eva and Ezekiel," Chris announced.
All attention was now centered on the final pair, who were still inching closer and closer to each other, until their lips finally made contact. However, unlike Justin and Anne Maria's kiss, this kiss lasted longer than a quarter of a second. In fact, it lasted about three seconds before they separated. After which, they looked into each other's eyes before quickly looking away from each other.
"Well…that was a little awkward, but you all made it past the wedding part of the challenge," the Host announced, "On to the next part!"
"The Honeymoon?!" Sierra asked excitedly while Cody shook his head rapidly behind her.
"Nope! But that does usually lead to what the next part is."
In the Hotel Lobby
"These!" Chris said as he revealed three life-like baby dolls in his arms while Chef showed four of them.
Most of the girls gasped excitedly, while most of the guys looked terrified.

Sierra - "O-M-G! I've waited so long for this! I finally get to have a baby with Cody!" *She shrieks with joy*
*Static*
Cody - "No! I'm too young to pretend to have a child! I still have a few years as a teenager left in me!"
*Static*
Justin - *He thinks for a moment* "Maybe one of the new Total Drama guys could replace Harold. I'm just not sure if any of them can sing better than him. Actually, I'm pretty sure that none of them can, especially not Sam, Scott, or B. Wait…can B sing? Is being able to speak a requirement for singing?"
*Static*
"When I call your names, come up and receive your baby," The Host said, "and before any of you ask this. No, this is not the elimination ceremony. I wouldn't let you all off that easy. Ha-ha! First pair is Noah and Katie!"
The Sweet Girl walked towards Chris with an excited look face while her boyfriend looked less than amused. She looked at all of the baby dolls that Chris and Chef had in their possession and gasped when saw a particular one.
"Noah, look!" Katie said as she picked it up and showed the doll to him, "This one looks just like you!"
The Bookworm looked weirded out by the baby doll and how much it resembled him, from the skin tone to the rectangular head. His girlfriend then cradled the doll in her arms and walked back to the spot where she stood before. Meanwhile, Noah stayed behind and glared at Chris.
"You did that on purpose!" he said with an angry whisper as he pointed at the Host.
"I have no idea what you're talking about," he replied with a shrug and a confused look on his face. Noah walked back to his girlfriend with a sour look on his face.

Several Minutes Later
"LeShawna and Geoff!"
The aforementioned pair got their baby doll, which was the last one available seemingly, since neither Chef nor Chris had anymore in their arms.
"Well, that's the last doll," Chris said.
"Wait!" Sierra shouted, "Don't Cody and I get a Cody Jr.?"
"Oh, right! You see…the higher-ups only gave us seven dolls."
"Aww," Sierra whined while Cody quietly did fist-pumps behind her.
"However…" the Host continued, which piqued the pair's curiosity, "We do have this."
He pulls out doll body whose head was replaced with a brown coconut with a drawn-on smile located under the three typical holes that coconuts are known to have.
"Isn't that Mr. Coconut, the coconut friend that Owen made in season one?" Cody asked.
"Yes! Yes it is! He's also gonna be your son for this challenge, Codmeister."
"EEEEEE!" the Total Drama Fan shrieked as she rushed up to Chris, took the coconut, and hugged it. "I think we should name him, Cocody Jr. What do you think Cody?"
"Uhh…" was all Cody could say in response.
"I think that's a yes!" the Host said, "Now, it's time for the next part of the challenge, and the reason why this challenge is taking place in a hotel."
At this moment, Chef pulled out a small sack that made a jingling sound when it was moved.
"Each couple takes one key from the sack, and that key will have the room number in which each couple will be staying in for the 24-hour duration of this challenge. Now, I'll let you all know that each room has two beds and they are filled with cameras, so we'll be able to see everything! So…come and get 'em!"

Noah - "Allowing a teenage male and female to stay overnight in the same room in a vacant hotel with just a bunch of cameras in each room to keep surveillance." *He then leans in towards the camera and looks directly into the lens* "To the so-called higher-ups of Total Drama, I ask this question. Are you sure that Chris McLean is a suitable host for this show? I mean, he does have a criminal record now."

LeShawna and Geoff's Room
LeShawna entered the room first while carrying the baby doll, with Geoff following right behind her.
"Nice pad," Geoff said as he looked around the room.
"Yeah," LeShawna agreed, "I'm honestly surprised that Chris got us a hotel this nice. But, then again, it probably wasn't his decision."
"Probably."
Tyler and Lindsay's Room
The couple walked in with Tyler hugging his girlfriend from behind as they walked into their room.
"I'm so glad that we get to be with each other for this challenge!" Tyler said as he kissed her cheek.
Lindsay giggled before looking around the room.
"Wooooooow! This room is nice! But, I think we forgot something."
Her boyfriend moved away from her and looked around quizzically.
"Hey, yeah! I feel it too. What could it be?"
At that moment, Tyler was tapped on the shoulder. He turned around to see Chef giving him a familiar baby doll.
"You forgot this," he said before giving the doll to Tyler.
"Oooooh…" the couple said simultaneously.
Anne Maria and Justin's Room
The "newlyweds" walked into their room together, with Anne Maria carrying the baby doll. She went straight for the closest bed and lied down on it with the doll lying next to her.
"Ugh! This room is so small," Justin complained, "A honeymoon suite should be, at least, twice this size."
The Jersey Girl continued to lie on the bed quietly.
"Oh well," the Male Model continued, "We're only gonna be in here for a day anyway, so I guess it really doesn't matter."
She continued to be quiet which started to agitate Justin, so he started to flex his arms.
"I mean, as long as I have enough room to flex my muscles, I should be alright."
He looked over to his "bride" and saw that she wasn't even looking at him. The Model desperately thought of something to say, but all he could think of was…
"So…, who do you think should replace Harold as a Drama Brother?"
Mike and Zoey's Room
"This challenge is so cool!" Zoey said as she and Mike entered their room with her carrying the baby doll, "It's almost like Chris is preparing us for the possible future, don't you think?"
Mike looked a bit shocked from that statement, but he was sure to reply positively.
"Y-Yeah! Definitely!" he said slightly insincerely, but Zoey didn't seem to catch it. Instead, she sighed happily.
"Just imagine what our own baby could look like," the Redhead thought out-loud, which made her boyfriend gulp silently.
Eva and Ezekiel's Room
The door flew open before Eva made her way through the doorway, with Ezekiel and the baby doll in tow.
"This challenge is so stupid!" Eva yelled as she sat down on the closest bed and covered her face with her hand.
"Not so loud, Eva," Ezekiel said as he rocked the baby doll softly, "You might wake the baby, eh."
The Bodybuilder slowly slid her hand down her face so that she could glare at her "husband."
"It's not even real, Homeschool. I'm pretty sure it won't react to anything."
"Are you sure about that? Who knows what Chris could have done to these babies for this challenge?"
"Ugh! This should have been a real challenge, like that dodgeball challenge from the first season, or the sports movie challenge from season two. Since when does being married and taking care of a baby count as a challenge?"
"I dunno, Eva," the Prairie Boy replied, "It seems pretty challenging to me, eh."
"I'm sure this will be easy," she said with a scoff.
B and Dawn's Room
The couple walked into their room with Dawn carrying their plastic child.
"Wow," she said as she looked around the room, "This room is quaint, don't you think, B?"
The Moonchild looked back to see her silent boyfriend nodding with a smile on his face.
"It seems like a great place to raise a child," she said as she turned her attention back to the doll in her hands.
Once she said that, B's smile turned into a nervous grimace.
Katie and Noah's Room
Katie walked through the doorway, with the baby doll cradled in her arms.
"EEEEE! This room is sooooo awesome!" the Sweet Girl exclaimed, "What do you think, Noah?"
There was no answer.
"Noah?" she asked again before looking back, "Like, what are you doing all the way back there?"
"I'm not going anywhere near that thing!" Noah was heard saying.
"Oh, come on! So what if the baby looks like you? It's not that bad."
"Easy for you to say, it doesn't look like you."
"First off, he's not an it, he's a boy. Second, if the baby did look like me, I would find that, like, so awesome! Lastly, if you don't take care of him with me, Chris will probably make us both eligible for elimination. You wouldn't want that to happen, right?"
The Know-It-All sighed in defeat and walked into the room.
"You owe me so much for this," he said flatly.
Sierra and Cody's Room
Sierra opened the door with the Mr. Coconut-headed doll being carried in a makeshift baby carrier made of sticks and leaves.
"OMG! This room is perfect!" she exclaimed, "Don't you think, Cody?"
The Uber Fan turned around and revealed that she had Cody in a carrier as well, on her back.
"Yes, it looks nice. Now, can I get out of this thing?" he said in an unamused tone.
"That depends, are you gonna try to run away again?" she asked before the loud speakers in their room started to produce noise.
"Attention contestants, and the new Mr. and Mrs. Anderson, ha-ha," Chris said through the speakers, "Since every couple is in their respective rooms, at this time, I declare this portion of the challenge, started."
As soon as he finished that statement, all of the doors closed and locked themselves, simultaneously.
"Darn it! My only escape!" Cody shouted.
Surveillance Room
"Those doors will be locked tight for the next 24 hours, but don't worry. Your room's bathroom doubles as a confessional."

"Also, there is enough food and drinks in the mini-fridges to last you the whole challenge, and it's not Chef's food. However, your three square meals will be the least of your problems during this challenge. You'll see what I mean in just a moment."
The Host then proceeded to press eight buttons labeled "Hungry" on eight different remote controls, which caused all of the baby dolls, including Mr. Coconut, to start making a crying baby sound, causing all eight pairs to react.
"Ha-ha-haaa!" the Host chuckled as he moved away from the microphone, "This challenge is gonna be awe-some!"

Dawn proceeded to gently rock the baby doll in her arms in an attempt to stop its crying. Meanwhile, B looked in the mini-fridge and found plastic bottles of imaginary milk and jars of imaginary baby food that those types of dolls are known to come with.
"Shh…It's ok, plastic child of the Earth," she said to the doll, "Big Daddy B is getting your food." [3]
Shortly afterwards, B took the bottle out of the mini-fridge and gave it to his girlfriend, who proceeded to feed the doll, stopping its crying. After which, both of the doll's "parents" sighed in relief.
LeShawna and Geoff's Room
LeShawna rocked the doll gently while Geoff proceeded to freak out.
"Ahh! What do we do, man?! I don't know what to do!" he shouted as ran around the room.
His "wife" rolled her eyes and shook her head, before looking in the mini-fridge to find a similar bottle to what B found. Using it, she was able to pacify the doll, allowing Geoff to calm down.
"Phew! Quick thinking, LeShawna!"
"I really hope you're not gonna do that every time the baby starts cryin'," she said to him.
Mike and Zoey's Room
After a few seconds of the baby's crying, Mike gasped loudly before speaking with an old man's voice.
"Ugh! That baby is too loud," Chester said before looking at Zoey, "Aren't you too young to have a child?!"
"Chester, this isn't a real-" the Redhead said before she was interrupted.
"In my day, people waited until they were married and at least 24 years old until they even thought of having kids. Oooh, kids these days."
"Oh, come on, Mike! I really need your help with this!" Zoey said desperately towards Chester.
Anne Maria and Justin's Room
Justin covered his ears while Anne Maria tried talk to the baby.
"Uhh…baby. Please stop cryin'," she pleaded, "Please, wit baby food on top?"
"Ugh! My ears! They can't take anymore of this crying!" Justin shouted before going to the door and trying to open it. "Please, let me out! This is torture!"
The Model's pleas caught the Jersey Girl's attention.
"Ugh! You are useless!" she said to him, "If Brick was here he would know what ta…Wait!" She proceeded to close her eyes and think to herself, "What would Brick do in dis situation?"
Once she got her answer, the Jersey Girl opened her eyes and looked through every drawer that the room had, until she found a small pacifier.
"Bingo!" she exclaimed before taking the pacifier to the doll and putting it in its mouth.
It stopped the crying for a moment, before the baby spit it out at her face and continued to cry.
"Ugh! Almost!" she said before noticing the mini-fridge next to the bed that she was laying on.
She opened it to find a small jar of imaginary baby food with a small spoon next to it. She took the jar and spoon, and used them to feed the baby doll, making it stop crying.
"Oh, thank goodness, that's over!" Justin said with a sigh of relief, which made Anne Maria look at him with slight distain.
Katie and Noah's Room
Katie rocked the doll gently while Noah covered his ears calmly.
"Noah, we've gotta, like, do something," she said.
"Got it! You look for duct tape, I'll look for some ear plugs," he replied as he started to look around the room.
"Noah, I'm serious!"
"So am I! For once, I wasn't being sarcastic."
"Ugh! Just think, what do babies like?"
"I'm sure babies like duct tape."
"Noah!"
"Ugh! I don't know, clean diapers, food, annoying the heck out of me?"
The Sweet Girl suddenly gasped with realization.
"Food! That has to be it! Check the mini-fridge!"
"Aye-aye," Noah said as he opened the door to the mini-fridge, "I see pretend baby food, some pretend baby formula, and some microwave pizza rolls. Which one do you think will shut it up longer?"
"Just give me one of them!" Katie quickly demanded, almost scaring the Bookworm.
He passed the bottle of formula to her and she quickly proceeded to feed the baby doll, who went quiet.
"Phew! Thank you, Noah!" the Sweet Girl said cheerfully.
"No problem, but I still think the duct tape would have been better," he replied before taking out the bag of frozen pizza rolls, "Anyway, ya hungry?"
Eva and Ezekiel's Room
"Ugh! That noise," Eva shouted with her hands covering her ears. Suddenly, she realized that the noise stopped. "Wha?" she asked as she saw Ezekiel feeding the baby with spoonfuls of imaginary baby food.
"Open up for the airplane, eh," he said as he made a plane noise while moving the spoon towards the doll's mouth.
"Homeschool? What? Where? How?" the Bodybuilder stuttered to ask.
"Oh, it was easy. It's like my ma always told me, 'The quickest way to stop a baby from crying, is to put food in its mouth, eh,'" he said with a high pitched voice before returning to his normal pitch, "After remembering that, I looked in the fridge and found this baby food."
Eva just started at her "husband" in shock before he started to speak again.
"Speaking of food, there's some stuff in the fridge that I can cook for us, if you're hungry, eh."
Tyler and Lindsay's Room
The baby doll sat in the middle of the floor crying while its "parents" ran in circles around it, screaming and shouting in a panic.
Sierra and Cody's Room
"Oh no! Cocody Jr. must be hungry!" Sierra exclaimed, "We've gotta feed him something ASAP!"
"What do you feed a coconut?" the currently freed Cody asked.
"Just because he's a coconut, doesn't mean he's not a baby," she said as she looked around the room.
"Uhh…what?"
"There!" the Uber Fan shouted, pointing at the mini-fridge, "There should be some food for Cocody Jr. in the mini-fridge!"
Sierra quickly opened the fridge, took the bottle out, and gave both the bottle and Mr. Coconut to Cody.
"Wha-?"
"I have to get a picture of Cocody Jr. and his father!" she said as she took out her camera phone, "Start feeding him, Honey. It'll make a really cute picture!"
The confused Cody proceeded to do so, which managed to silence their coconut baby. Meanwhile, Sierra took several pictures with her phone.
"EEE!" She squealed as she looked at every photo that she just took, "Look at how cute you two look, Cody!" She attempted to show the pictures to the Geek, but as soon as she did, Chef opened the door and took the phone.
"Sorry! No phones for this challenge," he said before rushing back out of the room, locking the door behind him.
Both of the room's inhabitants gasped before running towards the closed door.
"Nooooo! You can't take that!" Sierra shouted as she banged on the door.
"Nooooo! Take me with you!" Cody shouted.
Surveillance Room
The Total Drama Host was on the floor laughing his heart out after witnessing how each couple dealt with their babies crying for the first time.
"Oh-oh-oh man!" he said as he tried to collect himself, "This challenge is already hilarious, and there's still 23 hours left! Ha-haaaaaa! Whew!"
Chris then turned towards the camera that was recording this.
"I hope you viewers at home are enjoying this as much as I am. But, we've gotta take a commercial break now. In the meantime, here're some gripping questions for ya. Who do you guys think is the best couple so far? Who do you think is the worst? Well, I guess it doesn't really matter what you guys think since Chef and I are the judges, but whatever. See what we think of the couples's performances when we return for more…"
"Total!"
"Drama!"
"Avengeance!"
Confession Cam

Justin - "Maybe Chris could be a Drama Brother." *He thinks about it a bit* "Nah! He's way too old. Oh! What about that other Chris, the guy from New York! He's the right age, and he looks like he can sing. He'd be perfect!" [4]

[1] - That scene look familiar? If you read chapter 2, it should, except it's in reverse. Gotta love it when things come full circle like that.
[2] - "Jokin' Noah" sounds a lot like Joakim Noah, the starting Center for the Chicago Bulls. Get it? Chicago Bulls...chapter number 23. Heh? Just a little easter egg for my fellow NBA fans. BTW, Go Nets!
[3] - Speaking of athlete references, I couldn't help myself with this one. Big Daddy V was the name of a wrestler from like 5 years ago, and let me tell you, the dude was frightening. For Halloween, he could have gone as himself and scared people into giving him his weight in candy, which would enough candy to feed an entire neighborhood of children. Wait...what the heck am I talking about right now?
[4] - Shameless plug, I can sing. I even started up a Musician/Band page on Facebook. Also, I'd love to be a Drama Brother, but unfortunately Izzy kidnapped me. Where exactly has she taken me? Find out a in later chapter.
Elimination Order (Since Knifez R Us requested it)
Jo, Trent, Beth, Staci, Sam, Scott, Sadie, Bridgette, Dakota, Brick
And that concludes chapter 23. I hope you all enjoyed it, I've had this challenge in mind for a while now, even longer than the Pokemon challenge. I think I'm gonna have a lot of fun making the next chapter. Also, the poll and the cover art contest are still going on. You can look at the bottom of Chapter 7 for all of the cover art rules. Speaking of art, I'd like to give a shout out to xebla, a loyal reader of this story who made an Elimination Chart for TDA:OL vs. NL on his Deviant Art page. I was so stoked when I saw that. In fact, it's probably what made me get this chapter up so fast. Not only that, but I also have to thank each and everyone of my readers who helped this story get over 300 reviews. That is incredible! I didn't think I'd ever get anywhere near that many reviews when I started this 18 months ago. Thank you all so much, doomo arigatoogozaimasu and sayoonara until the next chapter!
