Disclaimer: I do not own Sword Art Online, neither the plot of its original story. However, I do own my very own story plot and the OC(s). Thank you very much.

Author's Notes: After a good 3 years, I still continued to receive subscribers and emails telling me to continue the story. Much has happened over these 3 years, I've finally finished serving my nation as a soldier, I've went through all kinds of shit that life has to offer, nothing gives me the greatest satisfaction of writing stories and receiving your endless support. Instead of writing a new one, I've decided to come back to this story plot to finish up where I have put on hiatus for a long time. I hope you guys are ready, for I am coming back with a fortnightly update, and hopefully you guys would love it.

Shugokage said: "Thanks for the update and very good job on the second chapter I glad to say you kept excellent quality and added a good and fun partial partnership of Kirito and Zenir good luck on the next chapter!"

R: I'm terribly sorry that your luck came only after 3 years. I'm also very sorry that it took me 3 years to give you this chapter. Forgive me would you? And meanwhile enjoy this chapter.

Suisen said: "Zenir really captivated me in a sense of how he communicated, you should really continue."

R: Thank you very much, your profile picture is a dead give-away to who you are, but I appreciate it. It took more than just some soul-searching to find my true passion. As promised, this is the chapter.

Chapter 2

"You will pay for what you've done you bastard!"

The man charged forward with his rage-infused eyes, he swung the blade in a wide overhead arc as I sidestepped to deliver a punch at his waist. It would have hurt him if we were in reality, but I kept that in check that all the pain we receive is nothing but a tingling sensation. I needed to end this battle fast before the sheer numbers overwhelm us. The punch connected as I brought the blade down from his shoulders and across down to his legs. It was as deadly as it seems, and the man shattered into polygons as the orange gash emerges just as the sword exits his body.

"Holy… Is that a Sword Skill, Zen? I've never seen anything like it before." Kirito exclaimed as he brought another man down to his knees begging for mercy. He kicked the man aside before dodging an ax that came from behind.

"I wish it was, but it's just one of the many moves I used when brawling on the streets."

A mace hit my body as I finished my sentence.

"SWITCH!"

Before I could look at the man whom swung that mace, another mace came into my line of sight. I ducked to dodge and delivered an upward slash followed by an uppercut with my empty hand. As my fist connects to the chin, a bunch of messages popped out immediately and I minimized it as it was blocking my view. The man landed on his back, screaming as his avatar slowly broke down into polygons. His partner ran to his side, trying to force a potion into his mouth.

Expensive, but futile.

With tears running down his cheeks, the man's partner was trying to collect the polygons back to his friend's avatar.

Oh spare me the drama won't you.

"Here, let me help you with that." I walked over to the sobbing man's side and delivered a blow from my fist. It was at that moment, several other messages popped up in my HUD. I ignored them again, finishing the motion, the system seem to have registered the motion I executed as my hands connect to the man's head and a sick crunching sound exploded out of the man's neck, as if I broke his neck upon impact. The man dropped silent, with his face flat on the floor. His avatar slowly broke down into polygons.

"YOU ARE A MONSTER!"

"RUN!"

The two other men whom attacked us originally with their four friends sprinted away, never looking back. They left one of their friends behind, who seemed to have lost his sanity, hugging onto Kirito's leg.

"So… What are you gonna do with that one?" I pointed my finger to the crazed man.

"Hmm… Tough option, we can't bring them into town since we are now 'Red' players. But they are still 'Orange' players, so we should tie this one up and leave him somewhere that other players would find him and leave him to his fate." Kirito proceeded to tie the man up, in which the man struggled, imposing much difficulty to Kirito trying not to harm him while tying the man up.

"Hey come on, make it easy for my friend here won't you?" I went over and smacked the man with my sword by the hilt. It was at this very moment, the blade shattered into polygons, leaving my mouth agape with what happened.

"Pfft…" Kirito struggled to keep himself composed as he was trying to hold back his laughter. It was a very comical moment, I too had trouble trying to figure out if I should laugh or cry. The sword, which everyone craved for, hunted me for, tried to kill me for, broke at such a moment. I looked at the messages that I paid no heed to earlier and was trying to slowly recollect myself.

'Sword Durability reduced to extreme levels, Sword may break at any moment.'

'Martial Arts Skill gained.'

'Uppercut registered.'

'Beatdown registered.'

'Sword broke.'

'Martial Arts Proficiency increased.'

'One-Handed Sword Proficiency increased.'

'Dual-wielding unlocked.'

'Due to a new skill being unlocked, a new type of weapon is now available to all blacksmithing classes and shops, you may now equip Gauntlets, Gauntlets are registered as off-hand equipment and you can equip them and still hold a shield.'

'One-handed Equipment Proficiency registered.'

I could not help but exclaim out loud.

"HOLY MOTHER OF GOD WHAT?!"

"What happened?" Kirito stood up as he jabbed onto his UI, probably checking out the loots.

I shouldn't tell him, a new skill is just as dangerous as it is. Strong but I cannot let anyone know, this must be kept a secret.

"Ah… Nothing much, apparently the sword's durability have already been reduced to the lowest point and I ignored it. Guess that was why the sword broke just now."

Kirito nodded as he offered me a trade request. I accepted it with my brows raised.

"Here's something to replace with the broken sword for now." Another sword appeared in the trade window. "Here's a cloak too, it's not much but I hope it helps with your journeys, us with the 'Red' names are kind of hard to survive in towns, don't stick too long to the same place unless you don't mind some company with the 'Justice' people of the towns."

"It's not really any trouble; I don't think I want to hold on to another sword for now. I think I'll change into a different weapon, an axe perhaps fit a barbarian like me eh?" I chuckled as I declined the trade request.

"At the very least, take the cloak. Will you be joining the front lines?"

"Not so soon, once my 'Red' status has been cleared, I'll join up. Will you be there too, Kirito?"

"Yes I will, there's a meeting in Tolbana in a month's due. If we don't kill anyone for a month's time, we just might be able join the front lines together."

Kirito flashed a smile, a genuine one I feel.

"It's set then! Do remind me when the meeting happens, I tend to forget a lot." I sent him a friend request as I turned to leave. He accepted it and went off too. We parted for our ways, by the time I turned back to look, he was gone.

I guess he invested into some Dexterity, it's only been a few seconds and he's already out of my line of sight. I have to figure out this 'One-handed' skill…

Jabbing a few buttons by the UI, I took out a Two-Handed Straight Sword that I picked up from my grinds. Holding it in my left hand, I swung it a few times, it was light, and it didn't seem to have any restriction messages popping out. The damage is high, as I cut down a boar that charged towards me, it would have taken me at least 3 slashes from my previous weapon.

Wait a minute… What if…

I took out yet another Two-Handed Straight Sword from my inventory and equipped it. With both Two-Handed swords in my hand, I could swing them like they were sticks. I began to chuckle, and slowly that transformed into a laugh, a laugh so loud, it took me awhile before I stopped.

Oh the mighty lord, you've sure given me a great skill.

I pumped a number of available stat points into Strength, and the rest into Dexterity. I only need a certain amount of strength to equip that heavy equipment, and the rest to Dexterity for that unstoppable speed.

Beating the game might just might be possible from now on, but I still need more levels, and grinds. I need to train on the Proficiency of my other skills. I CAN DO THIS!

Now at level 18, and my self-proclaimed Dual-Wielder. My journey for survival and getting back to reality, have become really INTERESTING!

To Be Continued…
