It was the next morning and none of the members of the BAU looked bright-eyed or bushy-tailed.

Hotch held the door open for Emily with Rossi following shortly behind them.

Reid walked in with Derek and Penelope, followed by a rushing JJ still buttoning the bottom buttons of her blouse.

They entire team met in the conference room at the local precinct.

They each grabbed a chair and more or less flopped down.

Hotch said, "I know we are all tired."

Rossi mumbled something and took a swig of coffee.

Hotch ignored his long time friend and said, "Jack was up all night throwing up."

JJ looked up at Hotch and said, "Yeah Henry has the stomach bug that is being passed around the schools."

JJ put her head on the table and said, "I'm not asleep I am just resting my eyes."

Penelope picked up her soft notebook and slid it under JJ's forehead.

JJ sighed and said, "Garcie you are too good to me."

Reid looked at Morgan and said, "Why are you so tired? Your baby isn't even born yet."

Penelope said, "The baby kicked all night, so I kicked Derek."

Penelope mouthed "sorry" to Derek.

As tired as he looked Derek still said, "Don't worry about it princess. You can wake me up anytime you want."

Rossi said, "Gag me."

Emily glared at Rossi and said, "Consider it done."

Reid softly said, "My nightmares are back."

JJ looked at Reid and said, "Spence we have all talked about this with you. We all said you could call us anytime. Plus we were all up anyway."

Reid sighed and said, "I know that now, but I didn't want to wake any of you up."

Derek said, "Why didn't you talk to Des?"

Reid said, "I may not have told her about them, or the headaches."

Derek said, "Reid tell Des. She is a great listener."

Reid nodded and said, "Okay. Wait Prentiss why are you so tired?"

Hotch looked at Emily and just shrugged.

Emily said, "Because doctor's lie when they call it morning sickness. Well I guess technically it was after midnight, but you know what I mean."

Reid simply said, "Well now it makes sense. You weren't in the field yesterday, and Hotch has been watching you like a hawk."

Rossi said, "Congratulations Prentiss." Rossi shook Hotch's hand and asked, "One pregnant woman on the team wasn't enough?"

Hotch whispered, "Shut up Dave."

Rossi just chuckled and said, "I'm happy for you Aaron."

Emily said, "Now that the news is out, can we please get this damn case solved, and quickly."

Derek chuckled and said, "Anything for you princess Prentiss."

Shortly after their brief meeting with the local PD Hotch had dismissed everyone to start their day.

Hotch sucked in a breath when he saw Emily place a gun in her ankle strap. He had made a promise to her to trust her in the field, so he swallowed his fear, and escorted her out of the building.

Penelope was furiously typing away when her cell phone rang.

Penelope smiled and said, "Frankie how are you?"

Frankie said, "I'm good. I was calling to let Derek know that me and Joey will be at his bachelor party."

Penelope chuckled and said, "I see, for that you would fly down, but you won't come see your favorite cousin."

Frankie said, "Of course I want to come see you."

Frankie and Penelope laughed.

Frankie then said, "Seriously every time I call Derek to come visit, he is getting dragged away on some case."

Penelope said, "Tell me about it. Speaking of cases, I am kinda busy, but I will tell Derek you called."

Frankie said, "Thanks P. Talk to you guys later."

Penelope spent another few hours digging. She had extended her searches to neighboring states, and came up empty. So Penelope pushed the parameters father.

She finally got a hint. She rolled her eyes and said, "Of course. Florida."

Penelope almost laughed and thought," What was it about Florida that seem to have the sickest of the sickos, the wackiest of the wackos…"

Penelope found several cases near the Florida, Georgia line that mirrored the case the BAU had now.

Penelope dug more and found that there were not enough police officers in that area ten years ago to properly investigate, so the case went cold.

Penelope sarcastically thought, "I bet the team can't wait til I tell them where they are jetting off next."

Penelope saved the information, and searched the hospital records like Hotch had asked.

She found that a few nurses, and few doctors, and security guards all worked during the times when the victims were being operated on.

Penelope then started to search and see if any of them had ties to Florida. Surprisingly quite a few did.

Penelope organized first her thoughts, then her notes. She went to stand up and noticed she was actually having a hard time getting out of the chair.

Penelope sighed and said out loud, "So it begins."

Penelope wiggled her way out of the chair, using an armrest to push herself up.

She walked into the conference room and started to make notes of the dump sites to see if by any chance any of them had anything to do with the hospital workers.

Penelope glanced at the clock and knew her team of crime fighters would be back soon to deliver the profile, so she could narrow her list of suspects.

Penelope was coming out of the room when she heard a female officer say, "So what do you think of the BAU?"

Another female voice said, "There are some attractive guys on the team."

The first female voice said, "Tell me about it. Oh and that agent Morgan woohoo."

The second female voice said, "You mean agent muscles?"

They both laughed.

The first voice said, "What about the one with the beard. You know the older guy?"

A third female voice said, "Oh you mean the Italian one."

The first female voice said, "You mean that Italian Stallion!?"

Penelope gritted her teeth. What in the hell was wrong with the female population.

Another unfamiliar voice said, "Yeah I could go for a little Italian myself…But what about Agent Hotchner? I would do anything to get him to smile at me."

Another woman cattily said, "I do like a man on top. Oh and the quiet one…the nerdy guy. You know what they say about the quiet ones?"

The second female voice chuckled and said, "I bet you do. One of the women said, "Maybe we could get the 411 on them?"

They all shared a leering smile.

Penelope rolled her eyes and thought, "Good luck on that one."

Penelope rounded the corner and said, "Good morning ladies."

The women smiled at Penelope and in unison said, "Good morning."

Penelope turned her back to fix her herbal tea just the way she liked it."

Penelope thought, and thought, and wondered if she should say something to these ladies. Penelope thought, "Ladies is a term loosely being used in this case."

One of the female officers asked Penelope, "So are any of the guys on your team single?"

One of the secretaries sat on the edge of the table and said, "Tell me what it is like working with agent muscles. I bet if you weren't pregnant you would be all on that?"

Another female officer snorted and mumbled said, "As if."

Penelope smiled and turned back around stirring her tea, facing away from the small crowd.

She slowly pivoted on her feet to face the room full of ladies and took a calming breath.

Penelope pointed to her belly and said, "Well seeing as how this belongs to Agent muscles, no you may not go on a date with him. Agent Rossi, or as you call him Italian Stallion is very much in love with Agent muscles' mother, and Agent Hotchner already has a woman that makes him smile thank you very much, and if agent Prentiss hears you, she will kill you, and Doctor Reid…ah yes I believe you…." Penelope pointed to one of the officers said, "Called my wonderful boy genius a nerd. He is not a nerd, well okay maybe a little, but he is most certainly not an object for you lonely bitches to gawk at, and yes he does have a girlfriend. So now if all of you are done, I am going to go and solve the case you couldn't."

Penelope huffed out of the break room and towards the conference room.

Penelope smiled as she saw Emily and Derek walk towards her. Penelope handed her tea to Emily and said, "Hold this."

Penelope gave Derek a quick but searing kiss.

Derek smirked and said, "I miss you too. What was that all about?"

Penelope said, "Just making a point handsome."

Derek opened his arms and said, "I am willing to be your visual aide anytime."

Emily rolled her eyes handed Penelope her tea back and said, "Come on, we have real work to do."

Derek walked into the conference room but Emily pulled Penelope aside and asked, "What was that out there?"

Penelope said an innocent smile, "Nothing."

Emily said, "PG don't even try it with me."

Penelope said, "A few of the female officers were talking about our men."

Emily said, "Oh I see, and you told them were to stick it."

Penelope, "You could say that."

Emily asked, "Well what did they say about Aaron?"

Penelope said, "Geez Prentiss, I introduce you to a little girl talk, and you run away with it."

Emily testily said, "Come on Pen tell me."

Penelope said, "Fine."

By the time Penelope was done with her little story Prentiss was laughing so hard she was almost in tears.

Emily said, "Come on PG we talk like that all the time."

Penelope said, "Well yeah, but none of us were ever serious. Fine I am being a hypocrite, but still. What if one of those women tried to hit on Aaron in front of you."

Emily said, "I would handle it with grace and dignity."

Penelope said, "Bullshit."

Emily replied, "I'd snap her neck. Thanks for sticking up for all of us."

Penelope said, "No worries. But don't get to happy. When I tell you where you will be going next you won't be so thrilled with me."

Emily rolled her eyes and said, "Well I want to be just as shocked and appalled as everyone else."

Emily and Penelope made their way into the conference room. JJ was speaking with someone on the phone. She hand her index finger jammed in her ear.

JJ said, "Yes at five o'clock."

The rest of the team was standing around discussing what they found.

Hotch looked over at Penelope and asked, "Garcia any luck with any cold cases?"

Penelope said, "Okay boys and girls, you are going on a field trip."

Rossi said, "Kitten I don't like the way you said that."

Penelope replied, "Good because you my super heroes are going to the Sunshine State."

Derek groaned and said, "Damn it. I don't wanna go to Florida."

JJ said, "Nobody wants to go to Florida, well unless it is on vacation."

Rossi said, "Something about the heat there brings out the extra crazy and the super stupid."

Derek chuckled and said, "Exactly."

Reid said, "Many studies have concluded that violence does rise in hot weather, . Recently, Florida State University researchers found that, over two years, violent assaults consistently increased in Minneapolis, Minn., as temperatures rose toward the 80s. They attributed the change partly to "social opportunity" when the temperature goes up, more people spend more time outside.

Rossi said, "Great kid, and it is nice and hot, humid, and muggy in Florida right now."

Hotch said, "Morgan, Prentiss, and I will take the records that Penelope found, and get some answers down in Florida."

Hotch turned his head towards the other side of the room and said, "Rossi, Reid and JJ as soon as we deliver the profile, start hitting the pavement and see if we can't come up with a suspect here and soon."

Hotch finally said, "Garcia, we aren't taking the jet due to budget cuts, book us a flight and soon please."

Penelope nodded and said, "Sure thing."

Penelope wanted to chuckle at Derek. She knew he was pouting about going to Florida.

Hotch said, "Okay everyone get to work."

Derek asked, "Can I have a second to talk to Penelope?"

After everyone filed out of the room, leaving only Penelope and Derek alone, Derek said, "Hey princess give me a hug. I'll miss you."

Penelope said, "Hot stuff I will miss you too."

Derek said, "Baby girl I don't know how long we will be gone. We could be there a day or a week."

Penelope snuggled into Derek's arms and said, "I'll leave a light on."

Derek kiss Penelope and said, "You always do."

Penelope smiled a watery smile and said, "Damn pregnancy hormones."

Derek laughed softly and said, "Baby I feel the same way and I'm not pregnant."

Derek kissed Penelope one more time, and they parted ways.

Derek went to grab his go bag, tablet, and get ready to help deliver the profile. Penelope went to the small office to book three flights. In true Penelope style she did a thing, and had them bumped up to first class seats.
