Finally after a grueling three weeks, and being stuck in Florida the entire team was on the jet headed home.

Penelope was still a little skeeved out by how sick the Unsub truly was. Mitchell Oliver was exactly what the profile said he was. Mitchell's mother indeed had the procedure done shortly after Mitchell was born due to complications with the birth. Mitchell's mother had truly despised her son. She constantly reminded him of what a disappointment and failure her son was. After Mitchell was rejected by several medical programs, he had to settle with a low-level, low paying job at a public hospital.

After Morgan, Rossi and Hotch interrogated him, they found out that his mother's dying words to him were, "I always knew you would be nothing."

Those words caused the psychotic break in Mitchell.

Penelope sat on the jet in quiet contemplation. It always floored Penelope how cruel parents could be to their own children. Penelope rubbed her belly and vowed to always treat any children she had with Derek with absolute love.

Penelope was staring out of the jet window when she noticed a shadow. Emily sat down next to Penelope and asked, "What has you so down?"

Penelope turned to face Emily and said, "I don't know this case really got to me, and I rarely feel sorry for the Unsub. But this….this case, how could a mother do that to her own child?"

Emily replied, "If I had to profile Mitchell's mother I would say she probably comes from a long line of abusers."

Penelope quietly said, "Oh."

JJ noticed the sad look on Penelope's face. She ended her call with Will. JJ saw Derek look over at Penelope. JJ shook her head at Derek and said, "I'll talk to her."

Derek mouthed, "Thank you."

JJ patted Derek on the back and moved towards the rear of the cabin and took a seat in front of Penelope.

JJ asked, "Garcie how you holdin' up?"

Penelope shrugged and said, "Fine I guess."

Emily and JJ shared a glance, and then returned their focus on to Penelope.

JJ said, "You know when I left for the Pentagon I was glad to have cases that didn't involve children. But oddly enough when I was released from their and came back to the B.A.U I was relieved. I wanted to get back to catching the bad guys. Not just sitting in a office."

Emily said, "When I was on my whole "try not to get killed by Ian Doyle", vacation, I missed you guys like crazy."

Penelope smiled and said, "We missed you too. And that is one interesting way of looking at being staked in the chest, and stalked around Europe."

Emily shrugged and said, "It's all in how you perceive things. I chose to shop and eat chocolate in Paris. There are worst places I could have been stuck."

JJ laughed and said. "Hiding out in Paris sounds great actually... Hey PG you remember how Gideon used to keep a scrap-book of people he has saved to remind him of why he use to do what he did?"

Penelope said, "I guess so."

Emily said, "Right, well you need to remember all the kids we have saved. Little Lucy Masters, Peter...without you I wouldn't have never been able to save Declan, and don't forget how you found Ellie's mom."

Penelope smiled brightly and said, "Ellie is doing wonderful. She still calls Derek, but since she has adjusted not as much."

JJ said, "So see Pen, you of all people know out of the darkness can come good. Think of how many people over the years your searches have saved….Now enough about this mushy shit, when are we going to get our dresses?"

JJ and Penelope laughed.

Penelope said, "I was thinking lime green taffeta would look lovely on you."

Emily snorted and said, "Penelope I love you, but ain't no way….."

Emily saw the smirks on JJ and Penelope's faces and said, "Nevermind.. I know when I've been tricked."

Penelope pulled out her laptop and said, "I was thinking about these."

Penelope pulled up a site that had dresses in all different shades of red. Penelope showed the dresses she had chosen for the girls. Penelope had selected a one shoulder silk red dress with a black sash around the middle for Prentiss, for JJ, Penelope had chosen a strapless red silk dress with a matching black strap. For Sarah Penelope chose a short red cocktail dress with a black sash, and for Désirée she would be wearing a mid-thigh length dress that had a silk red top and black silk skirt.

JJ and Emily gushed over the dresses. All three women sat huddled around Penelope's laptop picking out a flower girl dress for one of Derek's nieces, and suits for Henry, and Jack.

Hotch looked up from the file he was completing and smiled at all three women whispering and giggling. Hotch thought that Derek and Penelope's wedding was coming at a good time. The team needed to distress after this last case.

Now all Hotch had to do was get Emily to move in with him. Hotch snorted to himself hoping Emily wouldn't fight him too much on the subject.

Rossi noticed the perplexed look on Aaron's face. Derek also noticed and slid his headphones off. Rossi tilted his head towards Hotch, and Derek frowned at the worried look Hotch was sporting.

Rossi breezed by a sleeping Reid and sat in front of Hotch and asked, "Hotch what is on your mind?"

Aaron loosened his tie and said, "Too damn much."

Derek sat next to Rossi and asked, "What's up. Hotch you okay?"

Hotch replied, "Yeah Morgan I'm fine.. Actually not really. I don't know maybe."

Rossi and Morgan shared a glance. Never before had they seen Aaron Hotchner doubt himself so much.

Derek said, "Come on Hotch talk to us."

Aaron said, "I have a lot on my mind. Emily and the baby, Jack, Haley's parents, the break up with Beth, and the nightmares are coming back."

Hotch sighed and slumped farther into his seat.

Rossi asked, "Have you told Emily the nightmares are back?"

Hotch glanced over at Emily who was ooing and awwing over something on Penelope's computer screen.

Hotch looked at his friends and said, "I have started dreaming that the reaper comes for Emily and the baby."

Derek scrubbed his hand roughly over his face and said, "Damn man. I know how that feels."

Hotch raised an eyebrow.

Derek said, "Look when I first found out Penelope was pregnant the nightmares about Buford started coming back. And given our last trip to Chicago they were more than a little justified."

Rossi then said, "Aaron you need to remember Foyet is dead. He can't hurt Emily."

Hotch replied, "I know, I know. But you can't help what you dream."

Derek said, "True. I made the mistake of not telling Penelope, don't be dumb like me. Talk to Prentiss."

Hotch said, "I will."

Rossi said, "Good."

Rossi's phone began to ring. He excused himself to the end of the plane and talked to Fran.

Rossi chuckled and said, "Yes sweetheart we are all fine….. I know we have been gone for a while…. I'm sure the team would love to. I'll talk to them, and let you know. I love you Francine."

David took his seat next to Derek again and said, "I hope you people are hungry because tomorrow night you are all invited for dinner. The answer no is not an option."

Hotch quipped, "Who would be stupid enough to say no to a home cooked meal?"

Rossi leaned back in his chair and said, "Exactly."
