Penelope sighed and threw the covers off of her. She had spent most of the night tossing and turning. Now that she was almost seven months pregnant she couldn't get comfortable anywhere.

She couldn't get comfortable in bed, her desk chair, Derek's SUV, Esther. If she was sitting she was miserable.

The problem was that standing was starting to become an issued too. Her feet had recently started swelling causing her to fall in love with ballet flats.

With another sigh Penelope pulled herself up and out of bed. She headed towards the bathroom to get ready for the day.

Derek rolled over and patted Penelope's side of the bed.

He frowned at realizing how cold her side of the bed felt. He felt awful knowing that she was so miserable, and the only comfort he could give her were lots of foot rubs, back massages, and assuring her that it was only a little bit longer until the baby was born.

Derek got an idea. He quickly shoved on pajama pants and headed for downstairs while Penelope was in the shower. He grabbed his phone and pressed number 2 on the speed dial.

"Hey, mama."

Fran groaned and asked, "Is everything alright?"

Derek sighed and said, "Yeah, mama. I just called to get some advice."

"About what, sweetheart?"

"Mom, I don't know what to do. Penelope is so uncomfortable all the time."

Fran said, "Just keep being patient. You know, and I know that this is temporary, but you try and tell that to her aching back muscles. Also quit telling her it's temporary. It's starting to tick her off."

Derek chuckled and said, "Okay, mom. "

"Derek, you need to do something special for her."

"I think I know just what to do. Thanks, mom."

"Anytime, baby boy."

Derek grabbed Clooney and his leash, he stopped for a moment to write Penelope a note and headed out to run some errands.

Derek walked for about a mile and stopped at a mom and pop floral shop.

Derek grinned and said, "There's my favorite, Lady."

Alice Shoemaker was the owner of the floral shop. She was roughly in her seventies but her mind was just as sharp as it was in her thirties.

Alice smiled widely at Derek and asked, "In the dog house are we?"

Derek laughed and said, "Not this time, ma'am."

"What's with this 'ma'am', business?"

Derek chuckled and said, "Sorry, I forgot who I was talking to."

Alice tossed her long silver braid behind her back and said, "You better not ever forget it."

Derek said, "I want to give Penelope something special, so I knew this was the best place to go."

Alice said, "You got that right. I have the most unique flowers in town. FTD has nothing on this old lady. So tell me what were you looking for?"

"Well I want to get her something that smells really good., and something pretty too."

Alice looked around her shop. Derek smiled at the A-ha! moment that flashed in her eyes.

Frantically, the woman grabbed a handful of delicate pink flowers. She handed one to Derek.

Derek looked warily at the unique flower but took a whiff anyway.

Astonished, Derek said, "These smell just like strawberries."

Alice still searching for the right addition said, "When will you learn not to doubt me."

Alice then grabbed a deep red colored flower and handed it to Derek.

Derek smelled that flower as well and said, "I see where you are going with this."

Alice wrapped the flowers in a neat bow and said, "Now, smell."

Derek said, "It smells like chocolate covered strawberries."

Alice nodded and said, "Pen will love these."

Derek asked, "Anyway I could get a few more bouquets of these?"

"Sure. I can get my lazy behind grandson on it right now. JEREMY! Get out here."

A teenage boy stepped out of the stock room and said, "Yes, grandma?"

"Derek wants more of these delivered to his house. What time, baby?"

Derek said, "Seven is good."

Derek turned in time to catch Clooney trying to eat a honeysuckle plant.

Alice and Jeremy fawned over the dog for a few minutes, then Derek threw a wave over his shoulder and headed towards his next destination.

Penelope sat on her bed wrapped in a towel. She felt fat and awful, and no matter how many times Derek told her she glowed, she would scoff.

"Beautiful my ass." At this point in her pregnancy Penelope couldn't even see her feet.

Penelope threw on a wrap dress. She took extra care with her makeup. She heard the front door close so she figured Derek had left. She knew it was stupid but Derek hadn't kissed her goodbye, and that thought made her want to cry.

Penelope fought back her tears to keep her mascara from running. She finished dressing and slid her shoes on. She was halfway down the stairs when she heard the doorbell ring.

Emily was standing in the doorway. Her own baby bump was much more prominent since the case in Florida.

Emily looked at Penelope and instinct asked, "What's wrong?"

P shooed Emily in the house and said, "I'm a whale."

Emily had to bite her lip to keep from laughing. Where Penelope was always about to cry, Prentiss thought just about everything was hilarious.

"It's not funny, Em. Seriously. I can't get comfortable anywhere, my back and feet always hurt, and my ass is huge. I mean, like Kim Kardashian should hate me right now huge."

Em laughed and said, "And don't forget Nicki Minaj. And just think you didn't even have to pay for your ass."

Without a conscious thought Penelope burst out laughing, and Emily followed.

Ten minutes later when JJ showed up that is how she found her two best friends, laughing uncontrollably about asses.

JJ raised and eyebrow and asked, "You guys alright in here?"

Penelope carefully wiped a tear away and said, "We sure are, peaches. Now let's go. We are meeting Fran, Sara, Des and Sara's daughter at the bridal shop."

The three ladies walked into the exclusive boutique to see the Morgan women sipping champagne.

JJ said, "Ooh, I'll take one of those." And pointed to an empty champagne glass.

Sarah looked at Penelope and said, "Wow, you are really showing. How do you feel?"

"Like crap."

Fran stood up and embraced Penelope and said, "When you meet this little one you will forget all about it."

The clerk at the boutique clapped her hands together and said, "Who is ready to try on some dresses?"

Des and JJ went first since their dresses were already pulled from the back.

Des looked absolutely stunning in her dual colored dress, and even though it was mid-thigh length, it was still quite elegant.

JJ on the other hand walked out of the dressing room with her knees bent.

"Guys, isn't this dress a little short?"

Fran huffed and said, "If I had your legs I would never wear pants."

JJ stood up right and smoothed the front of the dress down. Then JJ looked in the mirror and tried to tug the strapless dress up.

"Guys, I don't know..."

Des grabbed JJ's phone. She took a picture. Before JJ could snatch it away she noticed Des sent the picture to Will. His one word response: Yes

JJ threw her hands up and said, "Alright, I'll wear it."

Next were Sarah and Emily.

Sarah walked out of the dressing room in a very Audrey Hepburn esque cocktail dress.

She smiled at Penelope and said, "I absolutely love it. I might wear this out to dinner with the hubby."

After Sarah changed she took her little girl Amber into the dressing room to try on her flower girl dress.

Emily sighed and said, "Somebody come here."

Des shot up and said, "I'll go."

"God, Emily! Your boobs got huge."

Emily hissed at Des, "Shut up."

Des replied, "If I had known getting pregnant could do this to you, I would have…"

Fran called out, "Desiree Michele Morgan, you finish that sentence and so help you God."

Penelope called out, "Let me see."

Emily walked out of the dressing room. The loose material of the gown did well to hid the bump, and the sash above the red sash above the waist grew attention to Prentiss' new assets.

JJ whistled and said, "Donations are taken over here please."

Emily bit her lip and said, "Guys, I don't know about this."

JJ grabbed Emily's phone and said, "Don't make me text Hotch."

Emily's eyes went wide. "No no! Okay, I'll wear the dress. Jareau, put the damn phone down."

Sarah looked at Penelope and asked, "Would you like to see your flower girl?"

Penelope's eyes watered a little as she saw the little girl come out of the dressing room. She did a small turn and looked at Penelope and asked, "Aunt P, do you like it?"

Penelope grabbed the little girl's hand and said, "You, Amber, are the prettiest little girl ever."

Amber's dress was ankle length. It was a dark red that had a black sash, the straps were very wide and made the little girl even cuter than she already was.

Sarah gathered the little girls' jet black hair into a high ponytail and asked, "So what do you think P?"

Penelope smiled brightly and said, "Perfect."

The clerk came out with a large white satin bag and with a flourish said, "Now for the bride."

Penelope looked at Fran and asked, "Would you help me?"

"I'd love to baby."

Fran and Penelope disappeared behind a dressing room door. The clerk slid a pair of satin wedges underneath the door and said, "I thought these would be perfect."

After a few minutes, the rustling of fabric could be heard and then a gasp from Fran.

"Penelope, you look stunning. I mean, really."

JJ and Emily called out, "We wanna see."

Slowly the dressing room door opened and immediately JJ, Sarah, and Des teared up.

Emily said, "Wow. I mean...wow."

Penelope's dress was simple and flowing. The dress was a beautiful Strapless Satin and Chiffon wedding dress. Instead of a sash she had crystals lined right under the bust, and the baby bump was almost completely hidden.

Penelope turned to her friends and asked, "So?"

JJ said, "Perfect."

Des spotted hanging veils. She grabbed one and placed it carefully on Penelope's head. She went to turn to look in the mirror but Fran stopped her and said, "Not yet."

Out of her purse Fran pulled out a pearl necklace, and pearl drop earrings. She helped Penelope with the necklace and P placed the earrings in her ears.

Sarah said, "One last thing." She pulled a box out of her purse and handed it to Penelope.

Sarah handed the box over and said, "It's your wedding gift, but I couldn't wait to give it. So if I don't bring anything to your wedding now you know why."

Penelope opened the box with a creak of the springs.

"Sarah, I can't take this."

Sarah clasped the pearl bracelet on Penelope's wrist and said, "You can and you will. Now mama's pearls are on loan because they are an heirloom, but this is for you. All Morgan women get them when they get married."

Before Penelope could start crying again. Sarah turned her took look in the large mirror.

Penelope felt her face get flushed and a wave of nervousness hit her. She was filled with so many emotions she didn't know what to say or do.

Des covered her nieces ears and said, "I think she shocked the shit out of herself."

Amber looked at Des and said, "I still heard you."

"Don't tell your daddy."

Amber said, "Okay."

Penelope in awe said, "I look like a bride."

Emily chided back, "That is what we were going for."

Penelope continued, "That's not what I meant. I just never thought I would see this day, and I never thought I would be getting married to Derek."

All Fran said was, "Hallelujah."

The clerk noticed how flushed Penelope was getting so she decided to bring out a mode changer.

In a small bag was Penelope's garter.

The clerk pulled it out and asked, "You think Derek will like it?"

JJ , Emily, Des, and Sarah rolled their eyes. Fran just shrugged.

In Penelope's hand was a garter that had the logo of the Chicago cubs all around it.

Fran said, "Well maybe that will bring the Cubs some luck."

JJ and Des said, "Doubt it."

The clerk then said, "Penelope, we need you to come back for one more fitting, and you need to pick your lingerie."

Once the next appointment was made the ladies headed out of the shop and straight for food.

After an entertaining dinner, Fran dropped Penelope off at her place.

Penelope unlocked the front door and yelled, "Hey hot stuff, I'm home."

She tossed her keys in the bowl that was in the foyer and headed straight towards the den where she knew Derek would be watching sports with his feet propped up on the coffee table.

Penelope rounded the corner and gasped as she saw all the bouquets of flowers scattered all over the room.

She picked up the closest vase and smelled the flowers she didn't recognize.

Penelope whispered, "How did he get them to smell like that?"

Penelope gently placed the vase down and noticed all the candles casting a soft light in the room.

Derek padded into the semi dark den and said, "Welcome home, baby."

Penelope smiled sweetly and said, "Sug, you didn't have to do this. Is there a special occasion?"

Derek wrapped his arms around Penelope and said, "I just wanted to surprise my lady. Now come sit next to me."

Derek placed a soft pillow cushion in his lap, and Penelope laid on the couch with her legs curled and she gently placed her head on the pillow.

Derek pressed play and the opening scene of Casablanca started.

Penelope sighed taking in the smell of the flowers that brought her comfort.

Penelope turned her head so she could look up at Derek and said, "You are so good to me."

Derek smiled down at her and said, "Nothings too good for you, now watch the movie." Derek unzipped the back of Penelope's dress. He slid his hand to her lower back, and rubbed slow circles in the spot he knew ached the most.

For the first time in a while she was finally able to get comfortable. Derek settled back into the couch, and brought his other hand to massage her scalp.

They both drifted off to sleep. Penelope was snoring softly shortly after Derek started running the strands of her hair through his hand, and the last thing Derek heard before he fell asleep was, "Play it again Sam."
