Alexandra leaned in closely to The Doctor and Laura. She studied their faces.
"If you untie us we'll help you in anyway you want." The Doctor said.
"Hmm. Okay." Alexandra gestured for the ropes to be cut. "You're going to broadcast to every planet in the system about us. What we stand for. What has happened to us-" The ropes fell to the ground and guns were placed by Laura and the Doctor's heads. "-And tell them what we're going to do."
Laura nodded. "We can do that."
"In fact we can do a lot more."
"What do you mean?" Cassandra asked.
"I'm afraid we haven't been very honest with you...we're not press..."
Alexandra pulled her pistol and aimed it at The Doctor's forehead. "What are you then?"
"Travelers." The Doctor said, with a gulp. He looked down at the barrel of the pistol. "Yes, well, we travel through space and time and we sight see and the like...and we also tend to find trouble...that...we solve."
"You solve trouble? Like what, Doctor?"
"Oh you know...paradoxes, evil dictatorships, lost keys, the like... In fact I've gotten very good at troubleshooting. And very good at overthrowing nasty governments. Very good at it." The Doctor's eyes have grown focused. "In fact it's a bit of a specialty of mine."
Alexandra slowly lowered her pistol. "So, You'll help us?"
"Yes."
"And you'll do whatever is asked of you?"
"As long as you don't ask me to kill or carry a gun. Yes."
"Well Doctor, welcome to the revolution." Alexandra said, placing her gun back in its holster.
Laura sat next to the Doctor with one of the revolutionaries watching them with their guns pointed at them in the corner by the door. Alexandra, Cassandra and the other one were huddled around talking over their plans.
"Doctor, is this the best idea?"
"I don't really know. I'm not looking down the barrel of a gun any longer so I suppose that's a positive."
"I suppose that's true...Doctor?"
"Yes?"
"All of that talk about you overthrowing governments...was that true?" Laura said with trepidation.
"Well...strictly speaking...in a manner of speaking...that when you factor in the- yes. But I only do it after really thinking about it and use my best judgement. Do you not think that maybe this place might need a little overthrowing?"
"Yes. I guess. I mean it's horrible what has happened to Cassandra's people..."
"Then it's settled!"
Alexandra turned to face The Doctor. "Well! Doctor! We have a job for you and Laura! "
