Laura sat, handcuffed to The Doctor in the cold, empty storage warehouse. Cassandra was handcuffed to the leg of the bolted down table and linked to the Doctor's other arm. The only light in the whole place was a single lamp placed facing the three, leaving the rest of the huge space draped in shadow.

The sound of hard leather boots hitting cement echoed throughout the dark. A figure came into view. It was a man in military dress. He slid the chair in front of him out and sat down. He stared at Laura for what felt like, to Laura, an eternity.

"Who are you?" The man finally said.

"My name's Laura."

"What's your real name?" The man said, sternly.

"Listen, we aren't a threat I assure you." The Doctor said.

The man turned ever so slightly to face The Doctor. "I don't care what you say Englishman. This is about what he has to say right now."

Laura shrunk in her seat as her eyes began to water.

"How about you shut up and treat her with respect?!" Cassandra hissed, trying to stand then being snapped back down to her seat by her cuffs.

"Certainly. How about we talk about you? Why are you orange? Any reason? Or am I just supposed to respect that?" The man said, cruelly.

"Sir. How about we skip these needlessly mean interrogation techniques and we talk about the matter at hand?" The Doctor said coldly.

The man leaned in, his hands folded on the table in front of him. "Very well."

"What you saw out there was the wreckage of a time space machine. We collided with it in our own travels and caused it to crash. We were searching for survivors before you and your gorillas took us here."

The man laughed. "I see. For spies you're not very smart."

"Spies?" Laura said, baffled.

"Yes! Spies! We're not sure if you're working for the Soviets, or some invading alien force. We'll figure that out sooner or later. As soon as you're willing to tell the truth."

"But I DID tell you the truth." The Doctor urged.

"Silence! " The man stood. He turned to figures hidden in the shadows. "Get the truth out of them anyway you can. But makes sure you don't kill them until I get back. I need to go see if the other one's woken up yet." The man began to march out of the wearhouse.

"Other one?! What other one?!" The Doctor called after him as two guards began to advance on The Doctor and his friends.
