Chapter 22 Sookie's Pov
As the ceremony was already over, Wilfred and I stayed beside my grandfather Niall and my other grandfather Alexander, i didn't leave their sides at all because I'm also part of the royal family although my grandmother or should I say cousin remove, Isabella had told me to wear a beautiful dress cause I'm part of the family which it's Sweetheart Elegant Ruched Rhinestone One Shoulder Long Royal Blue Dress with Blue high heel pumps, my make-up is blue light eye-shadow with eyeliner and mascara, what surprise me more, pam told me to wear a Jewelry, it's sapphire earrings and the Tiara is the Dutch sapphire, the sash is white with blue stripe from my grandfather Niall, I didn't get the red stripe because I'm not really from the underworld, vampire world and the supernatural world, only Fae world then one of my cousin cloud gave me a royal family symbol pin from Fae world for everyone to know I am also part of the royalty also as a princess.
Right now, we are celebrating Isabella and Eric's coronation because Maria announced them as king and Queen of Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi, the coronation was successful, no disturbance from Christian, who wants Isabella dead but they couldn't kill her that easily, she's too powerful plus she's also a hunter duh…why in the world want Isabella dead, she didn't do anything bad at all, she's just doing what is right for everyone damn it!?
I sighed in frustrated and felt also a little pressure, Wilfred saw my distressed, he sooth my back and whispered to my ear to relax, nothing bad will happened which I just smile and nodded at him.
To tell you the truth, Wilfred and I begin to getting psychical close also mentally, ever since we both start having a conversation each other a lot of times, when we don't have nothing much to do, he also spend times with me which I appreciated he's kindness although I felt connection with him, when our skin touch accidently and felt a bolt of electricity run through our veins, at first it was confusing but we both understand in the end that we are soul mates because my cousin Isabella explain to us that, when you saw your mate in the eyes then you can't take off your eyes off her or his or accidently felt a bolt of electricity run through your veins means, also felt connection to her or his, he or she is your mate.
Well since we both knew, we are mates from the beginning and we are inseparable, I stayed in mansion for Wilfred, I called Jason and Sam with the rest of my friends, telling them, I won't be back to Bon Temps for a while, they ask me why? I explain it to them that I will be staying with my family, who I discover is still alive, Jason understood and told me, he will take good care of our grandmother's house, Sam, well he understand and told me to visit him, if I have a time as for the rest of my friends, they keep asking an annoying question, who I am staying with bla bla bla, my only answer to their question is that my cousin is alive and I'm staying with her for a while slash It's forever, they wanted to ask more stupid questions but I told them they will my cousin soon so my conversation with them didn't last long, we say our goodbyes and drop the call although they told me to visit them soon, I don't know what day, year or month, I will visit my friends but I hope it's soon.
The party didn't last long at all because Isabella said to everyone, Eric and her have to excuse themselves because tomorrow their flight AKA the royal family's flight (All of us) will go to England to take the next coronation which it's Isabella and Gabriel turn, everyone in the ballroom bow down to their queen and king, bid them goodnight.
Isabella smiled and Eric just nodded at them, both of them walk out of the ballroom, I guess they are going to rest now and as for the rest of us, we also excuse ourselves, we head to our respective rooms and take our rest well with Wilfred with me.
Normal pov
Everyone already take their rest even Eric, godric and Gabriel except Isabella, she sneak out of their room and go to her office to do some activities as a future queen although she took care some of the problems that Louisiana is facing since Sophie-Ann is the one who didn't take care some of the problem because she is too busy doing her other job (Whining like a spoiled brat) which Isa is taking good care of that problem right now before she get out of the country.
Arkansas is almost facing the same problem but it's not as bad as Louisiana, who almost got into bankruptcy, well Eric can take care of that part because he's good with politics and other stuff, as for Isa, she is good at it too but she doesn't want to be in the board meetings with the other kings and queens second in command, she doesn't want to face them at all, she has a good reason which Isa will explain it to Eric soon plus the only board meeting she definitely go, if she has a meeting with the other monarchs around the world or supernatural.
Isa sighed and pinch the bridge of her nose in frustration, she knew, this is going to be pain in the ass but she couldn't do anything at all, she is after all a Queen, Sookie is lucky, she is the second in line to the heir of the throne, if something bad happened to her, Sookie will be Queen or her mates will take good care of everything. She shook her head and put her concentration to her work, what she was doing, signing some of the papers and looking at some documents although she need to be done with her activities, her secretary AKA her longtime friend Julie, is with her right now, helping her to be done cause Isabella is being stubborn right now, who told Julie that they need to be done with this shit ASAP and you know the reason, tomorrow all the royal family will be in England for a couple of days then when the coronation of Gabriel and Isa is done, their next stop is going to Italy, where the rest of Isabella's family are, that's where the coronation of godric and Isabella are being held so it's going to be stressful.
Julie and Isa was in a deep concentration about their work in front of them until they heard a knock on the door, they didn't answer it at all, so the door just opened and reveal Eric is standing there on the doorway with his pajama black silk pants with no t-shirt on, both of the ladies didn't even look up, who was the stranger so they just ignore it, who was it, Eric knew Isabella will ignore him so he sit down on one of the single gold chairs in front of her desk and watch Isabella work with interest.
"Isa, you need to sign this because some of the board members from Mississippi isn't accepting this plan that easily although they are requesting your appearance there which I know you are getting annoyed about them" Julie said, Isa sighed and looked annoyed, when she heard about the board members from Mississippi, they are damn fucking picky like children.
"Gosh, those idiots, I already talk to the sheriff of Area 1 that he needs to take good care of that" Isabella said in a hissed tone. Julie just sighed and pinched the bridge of her nose.
"Yeah that's the problem, she did talk to them but one of them being an asshole didn't listen at all although your schedule is too tight right now and you need to talk to Eric about the other problems of Louisiana, Arkansas and especially Mississippi" Julie said in a serious tone.
"I know Julie but-," Eric cut in the conversation until both of the ladies realized that he was sitting in front of them.
"No need to worry about that Lover, I ordered Pam to send the board members that we will make appearance at Mississippi ASAP as for Louisiana, this state needs the money back to original run, the same thing with Arkansas so ladies, your work will stop here because I already talk to every sheriff of Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi that if they needs us just let our secretary know" Eric said calmly. Isabella just shrug and nodded in response as for Julie, she just smiled and sighed about this, thank fuck Eric is Isabella's husband, king and partner after all because he is the only one, who can make Isabella chill her ass down.
"Thank you your Majesty, Isabella needs that, she's been stressing about this past days" Julie said teasingly. Isa just rolled her eyes and stick her tong out at her.
"Thanks Julie but whatever, o yeah dear, this is Julie, my longtime friend and secretary and Julie this Eric Northman, you already who he is Julie" Isabella said sarcastically.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, your Majesty" Julie said politely and courtesy at Eric.
"The same here Julie but there's no need to be formal, when we are alone with Isabella, just call me Eric" Eric said with a sexy smile.
"Oh okay Eric" Julie said with a blush. Isabella chuckle about Julie, how she reactd in front of Eric, she knew that Eric still has the effect on young woman, after all it won't go away at all for the rest of eternity because duh everyone in the staff has been drooling about her husband, she doesn't mind at all, it's just she doesn't want any woman to touch what hers until something important pop out in Isabella mind that Eric wants to talk to her about something which she will find out soon so she cleared her throat to get Julie's attention fast.
"Well Julie, you are dismissed for today my dear friend, I will see you in the afternoon because we will fly to England so you know what time is it right" Isabella said with her eyebrow raised, Julie's expression change into happy one to serious.
"Yes your Majesty, the time of everyone's flight is on 9 o'clock sharp in the night, the private Boeing jet will be ready to go, when we all arrived at the airport" Isa smiled in satisfaction and nodded.
"Well you are dismissed Julie, I'll see you soon"
"I'll see you both soon and have a good night, your Majesties" Julie said teasingly and walk out of the office. Isa wanted to scold Julie but Eric was already in front of her with a smirk on his handsome face.
"Okay dear, what do you want to talk about?" Isabella said suspiciously.
"Well lover, as you can see, I know you are have been stressing about what is happening around us plus Christian problem (Isabella wanted to open her mouth but Eric stop her), I know what you are feeling lover but please trust me on this, after all we are King and Queen, husband and wife, we are partners, don't do this alone because you aren't alone at all, why we are here for? You know from the start that Gabriel, Godric and I will be there for you, you don't need to feel this huge burden alone so please let us do our part Lover" Eric said softly. Isabella sighed and stand up, she hug her husband tightly.
"I know Eric but thanks for telling me that, you three reminded me of Matthew (Eric looked at Isa with a frown) don't worry darling, I don't compare you guys to Matthew but what I am saying is, he always remind me of what is best for me like what you just told me so thanks" Isabella said softly. Eric smiled and kissed her hair, he smelled, he's wife's scent and relax.
Isabella and Eric didn't stay long in the office at all, both of them go back to their room where Godric and Gabriel, who is resting peacefully on the King size bed and soon, the newlyweds crawl on the bed to take their rest and fall asleep peacefully to each other embrace.
Isabella's pov
I didn't sleep at all that peacefully because I felt six hands around my body touching me which I opened my eyes slowly and saw Eric, Godric and Gabriel, who is already awake, I looked at them confused, no shit, I fucking overslept, I looked at the bedside table clock that it says, it's already 7:30, oh great…it's night. I sighed and gaze at my mates, who is looking at me with a soft expression.
"What you guys? Did you saw a ghost or something?" I said teasingly with a smirk.
"No love, we didn't saw a ghost, it's just we are happy that you slept, Eric just told Gabriel and I that you stayed late again, doing your activities with Julie? Is the problem that big?" Godric asked.
"Well dear, Louisiana finances is very low because Sophie-Ann waste thousands of dollars every month plus she isn't that smart to fix the damn problem as for Mississippi, the only problem is the board members wants to talk to me or Eric about some finance and stuff but I will let Eric do he's part as King after all, um right dear" I said innocently. Eric chuckle and peck my lips.
"Yes Lover, I will take care of that problem" Eric said softly.
"That's good love but what about the other problem like around the world?" Godric asked.
"To tell you the truth dear, the government, Sheriffs and our second in commands has been working none stop, they have been reporting me, where Christian's location since then but I am not sure yet" I said with a bored tone.
"Okay guys, let's stop talking about this because soon we will go to our flight, to go to England for Isa and I's coronation so let's focus about that then we will talk about this crap" Gabriel said annoyed. Godric hold his hand up in defeat and Eric just smirk.
"I need to change my dears cause your child Eric and Julie will certainly kick me out of this bed by force, if I didn't put some clothes on, so I need to go" I said sarcastically. Eric and Godric smirk as for Gabriel, he just laughed.
"Well go then darling, I don't want Aunt Pam to…you know, force you out of bed and also throw you out of the room like a doll" Gabriel said teasingly. I glared at him playfully which he looked at me innocently.
"Fine, fine but you guys owe me"
"Yeah we know, now go darling" Gabriel said. I sighed and crawl out of the bed, I know I'm definitely naked in front of my mates once again, I felt their eyes on me which I clearly smirk in secret and proceed to walk inside the bathroom without them stopping me, I took a shower calmly until I heard pam's voice inside the room asking my mates, where I am, my three teasingly mates didn't answer at first because they wanted to make Pam pissed off which it's not a good idea at all so in the end they did, when I heard a loud growl inside the room from Pam, demanding, where the hell I am until Eric answered her question calmly, saying I'm in the bathroom, taking a shower.
Pam said something that I couldn't heard at all, I guess she threatened them then I heard, the bathroom opened and reveal Pam itself, she has my clothes with her, so she just go inside the bathroom and wait for me to be done which I am, I looked at pam, who has an annoyed expression, I wanted to chuckle but I couldn't because she will get more pissed.
"What's wrong Pam? Something happened" I asked calmly, I pretended I don't know what happened inside the bedroom at all because you know how Pam is with her well temper.
"Well your damn fucking mates just teased me on fucking purpose" Pam hissed.
"I know what you feel Pam but where's the clothes that I need to wear?" I asked her calmly.
"Whoops, sorry mother, here's your clothes and hurry up, your granddaughter wants to talk to you about hiring some secretary for godric although your son has already one even Eric which it's me so I'll wait outside"
"Thanks pam" Pam smiled at me and closed the door behind her, the clothes that she has given me cost a lot of money, damn vampires, they do have a lot of money for all this year slash centuries, I sighed and put my white stockings with short shorts on for underneath the coat just in case for no peep tom to see my panty then I put my Military Dress Jacket Fashion Double Breasted Tulip Long Sleeve Trench Coat on, I didn't need a shirt underneath the coat cause this looks like a dress after all, then I put my Red Black Thin Ankle Strap Strappy High Heel shoes on, I also put on a leather short gloves on for me not to catch a gold, my make-up is light, I didn't want to put a lot of make-up while we were flying to England from America, the last one is silver heart studs earrings with my silver royal crest necklace from the royal family, I let my longer blond with red stripe hair loosely and head out of the bathroom.
I saw my mates was already dressed while Pam was scolding them to hurry up and dressed quickly, I wanted to laugh but one of my mates saw me and dash in front of me which it's Gabriel itself, he looked at me up and down to see my form, he didn't touch me at all, just drooling how I dressed until I heard behind him that someone growl.
"Whoops sorry my bad, Aunt pam will kill me, if I'm not done dressing up and Isa, you look hot, I like it but before I disappeared, I will kiss you goodbye" Gabriel said teasingly. He wrap he's muscular arms around my waist and he bent down a little bit for him to kissed me which he did, at first it was passionately until it turns into hungry one, a couple of minutes later, he let me go and kissed my forehead, whispering" we'll make this up for you, right now you have to go because Aunt Sookie needs you" I just nodded then he let me go, before I head out of the room, I peck Eric and godric's lips although they also kissed me, what Gabriel did, well that turns out rather well.
I head out of the room fast because Pam was already irritated to my mates plus she push me out of the room too, I walk down the long hallway and go to the library, where sookie and Julie were waiting for me along with the rest of the people, who Sookie already read their mind for us to hire as Godric's future secretary.
"Hi dear, are you done?" I asked calmly.
"Yes Isa, I am done but grandmother, can I say, who is the right secretary for Godric?" Sookie said with a serious tone.
"Sure, who is it then?"
"Her name is Clara, she's a good secretary for Godric, she's a vampire/ hunter, you can trust her for doing this job Isa, trust me, she's a good one, she isn't after the king at all nor betray you, she's loyal" Sookie said calmly. I looked at the person very carefully, head to toe, I know how picky Godric is, when it comes to secretary or second in command but I knew, he will like this one until Clara's eyes had connected to mine for the first time, I felt a bolt of electricity run through my veins, I shook my head and sighed, I knew, we could trust her because she's the one, she's very loyal of what Sookie said just now plus she couldn't betray us, well my dear Godric, you've found your secretary.
"Sookie, she's hired, Clara here, she will be coming with us to England and she will meet Godric soon enough" I said calmly. Sookie and Julie beamed and nodded, I looked at the corner of my eye that Clara smiled and bowed at me.
"It's a pleasure that I will be working for his majesty, your majesty" Clara said politely.
"There's no need to be formal, my dear, just call Isa, when we aren't alone" I said softly. Clara looked at me and smiled.
"As you wish Isa but what time we will go now?" Clara asked politely. Julie looked at her watch.
"Well right now, now shall we all go now Isa, your mates is waiting for you at the car with the rest of the elders, family, friends and guards" Julie said.
"Okay well let's go then sookie, Julie and Clara, it's time for us to depart and Julie, all of this staff from this mansion, did you send them to England because I don't want any of the staff to stay here while Christian is on the loose"
"Don't worry about that Isa, they are already on their way to England by now so let's hurry" Julie said. I just nodded and we all walk down the halls that leads us to in front of doorway from the mansion, where all the black SUV's are waiting for us outside, Sookie got inside the car, where Wilfred is riding with William and the rest of the elders, as for Julie and Clara, they both got inside in one of the car, where Pam is, I also got inside the SUV, where my mates is.
The bodyguards and the driver got inside of their respective spot inside the car and the driver drove away for the drive thru of the mansion, before little by little, I didn't see the mansion anymore, I take out the protecting shield from the former monarch mansion because I knew Sophie-Ann mansion will be destroyed soon, when Christian discover Sophie-Ann is really dead.
I don't really know what will happen later but we are definitely ready for it.
