Chapter six

Humphrey's P.O.V

I have been in the medicine den for at least a week now. The Alpha's beta wolf was getting irritated because I'm not ready to be out of the den yet, so after a while of sleep I woke up to something I thought I would never have to wake up to, the medicine wolf named Clare was arguing with the beta, they called him Derive.

The guy was a mean deprived no good only cares for him self kind of wolf. Another thing I realized about him, he wasn't to bright as I might say but in all seriousness I don't think he likes me either. me Before I could fully recover guard wolves came in, they grabbed me by my scruff and dragged me to another set of guards.

I tried to get up but it was no use because the stitches in my right leg came out and I started to bleed, the guards didn't seem to care though because after I fell down, I was knocked out by one of the bigger wolves. I never clear got glimpse of the wolf before they knocked me out but i knew he was large and that's all I needed to know, a few hours later i woke up in a cave room with sea weed tied to my front paws and hind legs, I couldn't move and I could hardly keep my eyes open.

After what seemed hours later a guard came the wolf obviously seem female from ts scent and its stature but one thing for sure was that she was the enemy and I wasn't gonna let her con me into giving her anything.

End P.O.V

A few months had passed and the western pack started giving up hope even more they decided to pronounce Humphrey dead and move on, the pack just couldn't take it they knew they had to forget and move on.

At the western pack it Kate had decided to move on as well. Kate tried finding a new mate but most of her dates weren't working out and its been that way since Humphrey died. She still couldn't get over the fact that he was dead and it was killing her to try to forget him and she needed help forgetting,Lilly had come and comforted her a couple of times and always tried to get her to go out and meet new male wolves.

But for Lilly it was difficult to get her sister Kate to do anything now. Lilly wished Humphrey had never died because ever since he was pronounced dead her sister Kate wouldn't go anywhere, and if there was one thing she knew is to cheer her sister up no matter how sad she was, Lilly later that week tried every little thing possible to cheer here sister up and Lilly realized she needed to take a different approach, Lilly went over to one of her best friends den, the male wolf's name was fallen. Lilly had known him for two years now and she figured he could help her out, she knew he was a nice wolf and wouldn't mind going on a date with her sister.

After Lilly arrived at her friends den. Lilly asked fallen if he would go on a date with Kate. Yeah sure that would be fun" fallen said surprisingly in a perky mood,Okay but try to be nice to Kate she's had it rough" Lilly told fallen and started to leave the den "oh and meet her a the river bed at mid noon" Lilly told him.

Lilly headed back to her parents den to let Kate know of the date she planned for her to tomorrow, hoping Kate would be okay with it Lilly walked in the den " hey Kate i hooked you up on a date with one of my friends is that okay? " Lilly asked hoping it was. Kate came out not moments later, Kate's fur was all matted and she looked like death from the looks of it, Lilly was really hoping the date thing would work out so she went over and gave her sister a comforting hug "you know you should take a bath you got a date tomorrow" Lilly said smiling " i do? " Kate asked curiously " yeah I hooked you up with one of my friends if that's okay" Lilly reassured her " yeah that's fine I just hope it goes well" Kate said " Come on i'm sure you'll have a blast now you get some sleep you'll need it " Lilly told her and gave Kate a big hug.

The next few weeks Kate had gone on several dates with other wolves. The thing was Kate just couldn't seem to find the right guy, Kate had tried her best but it was hard and Kate really didn't like most of the males she went out with cause they were either plain assholes or stuck up and rude when she went on a date with them, Kate just couldn't believe how many guys are nice and then all the sudden change when on a date it was entice-ably fucked up and Kate new it too. Lilly had tried hard to help her sister and stuff but the dates never went right, Lilly decided to take a different approach and try hooking her up with her friend Scooter and see how things would go, Lilly figured she would go talk to him later and see if he would go on a date with Kate.
