Chapter 7
Hey guys I know I know I haven't been posting and I left all of you guys hanging but here it is Chapter seven enjoy!
The next morning Lilly got up early, Lilly figured she might as well start heading to scooters den considering she needed to talk to him anyways. A few minutes later after Lilly had gotten herself looking decent and ready for the day, Lilly starting heading out making her way to scooters den. Lilly had not talked to Scooter in quite a while but she figured now was the best time considering she was trying more then anything to help her sister Kate.
After what seemed like hours of walking through the woods, Lilly finally arrived at scooters den. Scooters den was in a nice and peaceful area, Scooters den was just in the middle of a large mountain like hill but besides that there was a lake near by and a lot of fresh prey of all sorts; the whole area was covered by trees but that's what made it a beautiful area. On the other hand scooter was sitting in his slightly lit den eating a carcass of caribou. Lilly kinda felt let she was bothering him on the fact that Scooter was eating and Lilly really didn't want to bother him while he was having his meal. But she had no choice, Lilly really needed to talk to him even if it meant bothering him.
Lilly slowly approached the den opening, waiting for a couple seconds Lilly finally called out to scooter. " Scooter I need to talk to you, it's very important" Scooter stopped eating and sat up straight giving Lilly his full attention. " Hey Lilly, what is it that you need?" Scooter asked curiously, wondering why she was there. Lilly sighed and then spoke up telling Scooter about her situation and how she was trying to find her sister Kate a new mate considering Humphrey was dead and how she couldn't find anyone for her sister. " So how do i come into all of this?" Scooter asked Lilly realizing she still hasn't told him why she was there in the first place. " Well I was wondering if you would go on a date with my sister" Lilly told him "What do I get in return if I do?" Scooter asked her " I don't know what do you want?" Lilly asked curious to what his answer would be, "Well if I do I want you to at least spend one night with me" Scooter told her with big grin on his muzzle. " fine it's a deal then" Lilly said with a sigh and then started to walk out of the den before she turned her head back looking at Scooter "Just one more thing, Meet my sister in the middle of the valley at close to sun down, got it?" Lilly said sternly " that I can do" Scooter said and then went back to eating his caribou meat.
After Lilly Left his Scooters den Lilly started heading back to the alpha den to tell her sister Kate the good news. Lilly felt so accomplished. She had finally got her a date and who knows maybe something more. Once Lilly got back to her parents den after the long walk she headed in to the den. " Kate are you in here? I have some good news to tell you" Lilly said loudly trying to get her sisters attention before she found her sister laying near the corner of the den with her head laying on her paws with her eyes closed.
About an hour later Kate woke up. getting up off her haunches and sitting up straight she heard her sister Lilly calling out to her again. Fully getting up she slowly and yet tiredly walk toward the sounds of her sister calling out to her, Once she she found her sister Lilly she spoke up " What is it Lilly?" Kate asked her sister wondering what she wanted. "I have some good news to tell you" Lilly said excitedly, " set you up with a date with scooter I told him you would meet him in the middle of the valley" Lilly told her feeling quite accomplished " Lilly I don't need you dang help, I am perfectly capable of finding a nice wolf on my own" Kate said starting to yell "Come on its just one date" Lilly had explained " I don't care that its one date Lilly I can do the dating thing on my own, I don't need you help" Kate yelled " I'm just trying to help" Lilly said starting to get tears in her eyes from her sister Kate yelling at her "For the last time I don't need you help!" Kate yelled much louder and then walked closer to her sister poking her sister in the chest harshly" Now listen here Lilly stop trying to help me! I don't need you help and plus i'm not in the mood to be bothered so just leave me the fuck alone!" yelled once more at her sister Lilly " Fine I see how it is" Lilly said feeling hurt, with her eras to the side of her heard Lilly walked out of her parents den and started walking down the slope. While waling down the slope she started talking to her self " who the yell does she think she is! " Lilly gawked cursing herself for even helping her sister and for her sister yelling at her like she did, while walking down Lilly was kicking rock by rock down the slope as she walked. When Lilly finally got down down the slope she started walking back to her and Garth's den.
By the time Lilly was almost back to the den it was getting dark out but she didn't care, Lilly figured she could spend the extra few minutes to just take a breather and get all of the stress off her shoulders. When Lilly finally reached the den it was now dark out; Lilly walking into the den walking over towards Garth Lilly laid down next to him cuddling up against him. When sleep was finally taking over her, Lilly closed her eyes and let sleep over take her as she tried to forget about the horrible day she had.
