D-Darkness: I have arisen and I have found the spirit of Finish February and finally finished this chapter and I'm already thinking about the next one. I hope you like it, I really hope you do especially after the long wait. I just want to let you know the only reason this chapter was finished was because of you if I didn't know people were reading I wouldn't be writing. Every time I get a review it pushes me to write more. I'll try to put out the next chapter in less than a year this time.

Henry POV

'Why did we leave Carla and Sasha? This probably would've been way more fun with those two crazies with us.' Henry thought to himself as Takato led him and Rika to the boss room. They were in the middle of a giant cluster of other teams all being led by Kirito and his group of Badasses. He stopped at the 50 foot door, turned around and looked at Diabel. The giant congregation of warriors all silenced and began to listen intently to what he was about say.

"My comrades, we came into this game expecting wonderment and adventure, only finding despair and hopelessness of no comparison. The day our lives were lost in the real world was the also the beginning of something unstoppable. It was our Rebirth as heroes, people who did not know what would help them survive, but what would benefit the common man most. We stand on a threshold here, the beginning of our ascent to legend or our fall into the vast abyss of time where our attempt will not be acknowledged. This is not a fight for you or me, this is but a battle in a war to save a little girl who thought it would be cool to play games with the big kids, a young boy who wanted to hang out with his friends, an elderly couple who wanted to stay in touch with their grandchildren, and a family man who was only testing out his sons birthday present! We do this for them, and we don't complain because they will look unto us with a twinkle in their eyes and say "thank you." I know that we all have different reasons for being here, that is what makes this group so unique. When I was eight, I asked myself why I was born into such a world, I wished for dragons, demons, and medieval weaponry and like most kids, I wished with all my heart to become a great hero. I can proudly say, that even if I draw my last breath today I fulfilled my dream, because if I go down I'm making damn sure one of those bastards is going down with me! Now who here is a Reborn Hero!" The cacophonous screams were deafening "Onward, this will be the first boss kill, let's make sure he isn't the last."

Diabel and his speech struck some of my heart chords. I stomped my feet in the same rhythmic pattern the others had started and screamed the strongest cry my soul could muster. I looked forward and saw Kirito nod at him, probably to signal that they should start the raid. Diabel moved to it, took a deep breath and pushed the double doors open with his hands.

In the back of the room I could see a giant Snimon, it looked at the door, sharpened its claws and jumped at us as we rushed in. Takato seemed worried about something, but whatever it was he kept it to himself. I looked back to see Rika making a Prayer to whichever god would listen. I hoped whoever answered her, could keep me and my new comrades safe.

Kirito POV

Ah Man! Why is there a Snimon here, it's supposed to be a Kuwagamon. Hopefully it doesn't mess up the plan to much. "Klein go with Agil, Asuna you're with me. Kill a whole bunch of these fodder monsters, don't forget to use the switch method. After that we will start to help everyone else or attack Snimon whichever needs to happen first." The four man group broke off into pairs whilst dashing towards the hordes of smaller blue beetles. I pulled out my Iron Blade+5, slicing through them like a hot knife with butter. Asuna seemed to be moving as fast as a bullet, her rapier leaving minuscule entry points and craters on the other side of their body. I dropped into a rehearsed position as my sword began to glow red with power, I flung it out of my hands and through the torsos of the little monsters. Snimon didn't seem to like it as he turned toward us and leapt scythe claws first. Kirito and Asuna blocked them as DORUmon and her Orange Biyomon bit them to hold him in place. Agil and Gotsumon smashedhis legs with their strongest combo attack, while Klein and RedGabumon went wild with crazy swipes and slices. By the time he had gotten up he had lost an eighth of his health. He's stronger that I remember. Kirito thought to himself as the green mantis screeched and summoned more allies. Snimon sharpened his claws and leapt at another group. Diabel and his group seemed to have the Mantis under control so I decided to leave them. These damn KoKabuterimons, are annoying as all hell. I can't see Takato, I hope he's still alive.

Takato POV

Thank the sovereigns for these two. They're probably the only reason I'm alive. Henry is destroying those little blue turds and Rika is keeping me from dying. I have to do my part and contribute to this battle so I can continue on and make Kirito proud. I. Will. Survive. This is not my last day in the digital world! My skin began to grow hot with anger and strength I lashed out at the enemy mowing them down. I noticed red waves of light coming out of my sword every time I slashed, I didn't question the strange power, only pissed it didn't come any sooner. Guilmon seemed to share my power boost. His Crest was beginning to flash at an alarming rate as he too began to bring down hells' wrath upon the insignificant insects. His claws raked through his opponents as if they were bread being staked upon the meat hooks. Henry jumped back to stand next to Rika and marvel at Guilmon and I, as decimated the smaller creatures. Rika seemed to be having a epiphany of sorts, her face contorted into various emotions before settling on something between anger and frustration she began to glow red and plow through the bugs with her staff. Henry seemed to be confused at our sudden power boosts, but he shrugged his shoulders and started flinging spells. Rika seemed to be smiling but it could've just been the tiny cuts in her code making her look like that. I heard a screech and saw a humongous shadow fly over me and a large scythe like claw coming towards me. I think it nicked me - Oh Shit my code is starting to seep out of me. I think I'm bleeding out, but Henry and Rika are safe. "Guilmon, run away, you have to go find Kirito and tell him what happened." I could feel the pain and I could see the mantis attacking a really large group and what looked like Kirito and Diabel on the ground. "Takatomon get up Kirito needs our help, he can't kill it all by himself." Guilmon tried to make me get up to no avail his tears were warm against my face. Guilmon stop crying I'll be ok, I'm going to a better place. Kirito will take care of you, goodnight friend. As I closed my eyes, the life bar turned red and I laid my hands on Guilmons' chest. it's red light was hurting my eyes but I paid it no attention as I could feel my body doing something probably my code fading into the digital wind. I wish I could've been more help, I hope Rika and Henry survive, I wish I had been god what is that my eyes hurt. "Come on guys I just wanna die in peace!" I opened my eyes and Guilmon was gone, I was still at the battle but I saw a screen in front of my face.

I don't understand what's going on but if I'm still alive I can still fight. I noticed Kirito's group attacking Snimon and pushing him back. Standing now I could see the smaller Digimon closing in. I swung this sword that used to be in the ground. It released a wave of blazing red energy that shredded them to pieces. I could see Kirito and DORUmon run through Snimon as he finally exploded into a crapload of triangular Data, DXP, and Digix. "You let Diabel die!"

Rika POV

I can't believe anything that just happened even by video game standards that was all pretty fucking out there. I'm pretty sure Takato died at one point. This little fucker is yelling at Kirito's group, when they pretty much just saved all their asses. "Yeah I used to be a beta tester, but don't compare to those weaklings. Most of you guys here are stronger than those noobs. I took pity upon one of them and look at him now, he's kicking ass and taking names just like his sensei." Kirito is speaking nonsense, and why is he talking like that?"I made it higher than any of those other beta tester bitches, my partner digimon became a ultimate and we defeated the strongest of enemies." He was beginning to scare me a bit especially with that maniacal smile of his and weird chuckling. "You're worse than a lousy beta, or even a cheater. You're a-a- a beater!" Kirito's smirk grew bigger and he began to laugh uncontrollably until he became deathly silent. He equipped what I assume was a last attack bonus, the black trench coat blew in the wind."Beater, I like it, it separates me from everyone else."

Kirito POV

I walked towards the stairs for the next floor when Asuna came up to me. "Where do you think you're going. You can't just leave me here. I'm coming with you." I looked at her like she was stupid and I pulled her close and whispered in her ear " I can't very well play a super villain if I have you around. Don't worry we'll meet again." I could see her blushing, why'd she have to be so damn cute. I turned, disbanded the group and left the first floor.

Outside POV

Takato watched as his master walked away and left him. He was going to cry before he remembered something Kirito said to him while they had been training "You are a man now, so stop that crying" his eyes just stopped watering and he watched stoically as the man who transformed his life walked out of it. Rika walked up to him and asked where Guilmon was, he was about to answer when his new clothes started to shimmer and Guilmon appeared next to him as his armor disappeared and hugged him. The friends held each other for a while when Henry came over to tell Rika that he thought Takato should become a part of the Team. She agreed and he became one of {Rika's Bitches} the broken heart symbol appeared next to his name and on his chest. Asuna walked over to her Biyomon and pet her on the head, Agil and Klein approached her with their partners and she asked if they would ever see him again. Klein believed they would see him again and if not they could take comfort in the fact that he would be watching over them.

The Hazard has awakened and all who oppose it's will, will be decimated without discretion. The Hazard Garb is light weight armor that can survive any attack without fail it's only match is the Hazard Destroyer. The Hazard Destroyer is a versatile weapon changing to fit the situation. Fighting an aerial opponent it transforms into a bow with energy arrows, or it could morph into a powerful rifle with piercing bolts. The Hazard Sigil is the most powerful as it responds to the users emotions to make it more powerful, it does many things but the most notable is the back tattoo. The Hazard is not a skill it is a force of nature that can only be contained by a human soul.

He was a great man and while I may not have known him personally he did touch my heart.
