Chapter 12: Paper Mache Part 2
"Um, is this safe?" Piper asked as they managed to get the machine to turn her back from Utonium Labs without the Professor knowing and they were on a random rooftop.
"It is." Spider-Man promised her as Blossom turned it on and the lights bathed over her.
Thankfully, after the incident with Fuzzy, the Prof had fixed the machine to scan the person's mind as well as attempt to change them back.
"So how is it?" Buttercup asked as the machine shut down.
It didn't change Piper back showing that the change was compatible to her DNA.
"It says she's fine." Blossom said with a nod as it showed her psyche.
Piper gave a sigh of relief that her powers weren't killing her as Bubbles flew up to her. "That's great, it's nice to meet you."
A little unnerved by her, Piper gave a nod.
Spider-Man however felt his spider-sense screaming at him and he shook his head. 'She hasn't done anything bad.' He told himself. 'I can be friendly.'
"See, didn't I tell you it was nothing bad?" Spider-Man asked as Piper smiled at him.
"You did." She said going a little red.
Blossom saw that and smiled mischievously. 'What do you know.' She thought before a beeping noise came from her watch.
Everyone turned to see her freaking out. "Oh man, is it that time already?!"
"Uh Blossom?" Spider-Man asked looking a little worried under his mask. "What's going on?"
"The Johnny Cosmo Marathon is going to be on in a few moments." Blossom said taking off. "I need to record it."
"... Johnny what now?" Spider-Man asked giving the girls weird looks.
"It's this Hero TV show that she watches everyday." Buttercup answered him. "It's pretty annoying to be honest."
"It can't be that bad." Spider-Man said looking at Piper. "So, want to continue your lesson?"
Piper gave a smile. "Alright Sensei."
"... I know we're in Japan but did you have to call me Sensei?" Spider-Man asked as he swung off with her following behind.
"I need to introduce Courage to Grandma as well." Bubbles said sounding like she did before the incident with Cletus. "You want to come, Buttercup?"
"You go on ahead." Buttercup said as Bubbles left. "I need to get this machine back to the Professor."
Something about that Piper gave her the creeps and Buttercup knew the other girls felt it too, despite what the machine said.
But she didn't do anything bad, so maybe it was just their imagination.

"And that's how you handle a hostage situation." Spider-Man said after the last group of thugs were in the middle of robbing someone decided to use their victim as a hostage.
"That was cool." Piper said and Spider-Man chuckled sheepishly.
"I'm sure anyone would've solved that." He said modestly before checking the watch that he and Prof. Utonium built into the arm to see that it was getting a little late. "Hey I need to go, you should go home and sleep for the night alright?"
Piper looked a little disappointed. "Can we go on another patrol tomorrow?" She asked and Spider-Man gave a nod.
"If something doesn't happen then sure." He said before swinging off.
Piper smiled as she began walking home.

"Better listen to him you nasty rock." Peter felt his eye twitch as Momoko said that while he sat on the couch with the girls and Ken watching Johnny Cosmo.
When Momoko said she was going to record it, she didn't mention doing so at the lab.
And she said watching the marathon would be a good way to spend time together.
All he wants to do is sleep.
Basically the Anime was just the typical hero one with the main character getting the girl after defeating the monster who swears vengeance on him.
... All of that happens in real life except for the getting the girl part.
"Momoko, we go through this type of stuff every week." Peter said looking at the girl who was giving a squeal over the episode. 'This is why I can't see her as a Straight-A student.' "So why are we watching it?"
"Johnny Cosmo is the coolest ever." Momoko said with a smile. "That's why."
Peter shook his head and turned to see that Karou and Ken were sound asleep while Miyako was brushing Courage who had a look of happiness on his face.
Meeting the purple dog was a surprise to Peter, but he was pretty cool.
Especially since he was actually helping Miyako forget what happened.
"He's a TV character." Peter said to Momoko. "We're real life heroes so I say we're cooler."
Momoko turned her head stubbornly as Miyako played peacekeeper. "It was a cool episode though."
"I'm not saying it wasn't." Peter agreed. "It's just weird to be watching a show about a superhero when we are heroes."
Giving a yawn, Peter stood up and stretched before Momoko pulled him back down to the couch. "Come on, the next episode is starting."
"Momoko, we watched six already." Peter said to her. "I want to sleep."
"Just one more." Momoko said as Ken yawned, waking up.
"If I watch much more of those, my brain will be leaking out of my ears." Ken muttered looking like seeing another episode would be torture as Karou woke up as well. "Can we please change it to something else?"
"Fine." Momoko muttered allowing them to change it to show the news showing their deeds as well as showing the new hero of the team, Paper Doll. "Huh, Paper Doll seems to be today's news."
"Well she is new." Karou pointed out to Momoko. "So it's no surprise that she's the news today."
"That's true." Peter said cracking his neck. "Mind you, I can't help but feel uneasy around her."
"Is it because of the crush she has on you?" Momoko teased surprising Peter.
"Wait, what?" Peter asked looking surprised. "Crush?"
"It is pretty obvious." Miyako said with a giggle. "I think it's cute."
"Maybe that should be on the news?" Karou joked. "Spidey and Paper Doll."
She didn't care about romance, but the face Peter was making was worth it.
Peter was extremely red in the face. "Come on, it's not like that."
Ken looked at them in confusion, not getting what they were talking about as Courage chuckled.
Prof. Utonium was watching from the doorway with a chuckle at what was going on before the screen changed to show the Mayor. "Attention Powerpuffs."
"Mister Mayor, sir." Prof. Utonium said walking into the room. "You seem a little on edge."
"Of course I am, the Voters have chosen Johnny Cosmo to be Mayor for a Day." The Mayor said as Peter blinked.
"What?" He asked in disbelief, not expecting that as Momoko became a fan girl again.
"We have the poster." Momoko said pulling it out as Peter stared.
"How come I'm the last one to hear about this?"
"Because you didn't know who he was until today." Karou answered him.
"I know that, but still why?"
"Because he is awesome." Momoko said.
Peter did a face palm as the Mayor continued. "But Mojo won't stand for it, I think he's planning something."
That caused everyone's eyes to widen due to not hearing from Mojo Jojo since the incident at New Townsville Tower.
"He sent me this." The Mayor said as the screen changed to show Mojo in a decrepit room.
"I have only this to say." Mojo said glaring at the screen before pulling out the picture of Johnny Cosmo. "Why have you elected Johnny Cosmo to be the Mayor of New Townsville?!"
"Because he doesn't stink of Banana Breath?" Peter muttered under his breath as Mojo continued his rant declaring that he will make Johnny Cosmo bow down to him and be Mayor forever.
"Very ambitious." Prof. Utonium chuckled as Ken sighed.
"He's missing the point though."
"Yeah, didn't anyone bother to tell him that it's only for a day?" Karou asked shaking her head.
"He probably got so excited he didn't read the fine print." Peter muttered before seeing Courage hiding behind the couch shaking after seeing the monkey for the first time.
Now the weird thing was that the whole couch was shaking with him.
"That's not the point." The Mayor said at them not getting it. "We can't have Mojo disrupt the festivities... And besides, Johnny Cosmo is my favorite show."
Momoko grinned. "Mine too."
"Kill me." Karou groaned out at hearing this.
"So you four shall be his bodyguards." The Mayor said as Momoko had a red face with a grin.
"You're telling me we'll actually get to meet Johnny Cosmo?!"
Peter looked at Karou. "If I kill you, will you kill me?" He asked remembering her earlier complaint.
"Knowing my luck, you would fail killing me." Karou muttered.

"Wait, so we're going to be bodyguards?" Piper asked as they managed to meet up with her near the Mayor's office.
"Apparently." Spider-Man answered her while Bubbles held Courage who was looking around curiously. "The Girls Arch-Enemy Mojo Jojo declared a threat to Johnny Cosmo."
"Huh, it will be interesting to fight him." Paper Doll mused.
"Hello and welcome to my special day!" The actor who played Johnny Cosmo greeted with a wave as people cheered. "As Mayor of New Townsville I promise to defend you from any evil that will befall you."
The crowd cheered for him while the real heroes stood on the stage on the lookout for Mojo Jojo.
Blossom however kept her eyes on Johnny Cosmo.
"Could you please pay attention?!" Buttercup said breaking her out of her little trance.
"Buttercup is right, Mojo is out there so we need to be alert." Spider-Man reminded the red head.
"I don't see what the big deal is." Paper Doll said with a shrug.
Courage sat next to Bubbles scratching his neck at the new collar that Prof. Utonium made for him.
It creates a holographic field making him look like a small Doberman for when he's with Miyako, but when he's with the team, he looks like his usual purple self.
"But I am paying attention." Blossom said with a smile. "Don't worry Johnny, we'll protect you."
Spider-Man did a face palm. "If this is how she acts with TV heroes, I am hesitant to introduce her to the Fantastic Four in the future." He muttered.
"Who's worried?" Johnny said turning to them. "I don't need you five girls to look after me, if any bad guys show up, I'll show them it doesn't pay to mess with the mayor."
"Wait five-?" Spider-Man glared. "I'm a guy dammit! How do you think I'm a girl?!"
Johnny either didn't hear him or paid him any attention. "After all everyone here knows I'm the worlds greatest superhero!"
"Actually that title belongs to the Avengers." Spider-Man pointed out as Johnny did some poses.
"Bah who needs them." Johnny said waving his hand to the crowd. "I could easily deal with what they do."
"Fair enough, when Doctor Doom comes down here for some reason, I'll sit back with a bowl of popcorn and watch you get your butt kicked." Spider-Man said with a shrug. "Maybe I can invite Torch to watch as well and make bets on how long it would be."
Now Johnny was glaring at Spider-Man before Ms. Bellum walked up. "Hello Mr. Mayor, right this way please, we must get you going with the ceremony."
As they all walked to get off the stage, Spider-Man saw a balloon pop causing Courage to scream loudly and Johnny jumped before diving behind the curtains shaking.
"Uh Mr. Cosmo, you can come out now." Bubbles said with a weird look as Courage was hiding behind her. "It was just a balloon."
"A balloon?" Johnny came out looking embarrassed.
"Wow did you see how fast he ducked underneath the stage? You must have some amazing senses, Johnny." Blossom said with a smile.
"... Is this happening?" Spider-Man turned to Paper Doll in confusion.
Paper Doll gave a nod. "He's a coward." She muttered in disgust.
Johnny laughed. "Right I knew it was a balloon all along, I was just showcasing my cat-like reflexes." He said laughing before tripping on the stairs.
"Too bad you fell off the stage." Buttercup deadpanned before she sighed. "Man, what a total lamo."
"I guess Blossom is about to learn the meaning of never meet your heroes." Spider-Man said with a shrug as Paper Doll flinched a bit. "You alright?"
"Y-Yeah." Paper Doll said turning away remembering the time she met her first crush, Bobby Carr.
It wasn't a pleasant experience.
None of them noticed Mojo Jojo watching from the bushes.
"Hm a new smelly human is with them?" He mused seeing Paper Doll. "I must learn more about her if I Mojo Jojo am to defeat the Power Puff Girls and that meddling insect."

"Now the purpose of this Council Meeting is to discuss ways to make New Townsville a safer place." Ms. Bellum said as they were all inside the Office. "Mr. Mayor?"
Johnny coughed before standing up. "Well first your Mayor shall now be addressed as your highness the exalted one." He began and Spider-Man's hand met his face again. "Or if you're in a hurry, the big cheese."
"That one counts because he stinks a lot." Paper Doll muttered causing Spider-Man to chuckle.
"Good one." He complimented and her face went red again.
"Now let's get some input from the Girls here." Johnny said pointing at them and ignoring Spider-Man for the Doom crack earlier. "How can we make New Townsville an even finer city then it already is?"
"Well, how about building some more parks where we can play some more and skateboard in?" Buttercup suggested cupping her chin.
"An excellent idea, and I was just thinking that myself." Johnny said with a nod.
'Bullshit.' Spider-Man thought feeling bored.
"Ooh, I have an idea." Bubbles raised her hand. "How about we put some stuffed animals on the street corner so if people feel sad, they can have a big hug."
"Never change, Bubbles." Spider-Man shook his head. 'At least she's doing better then when we fought Carnage.'
For some reason his Spider-Sense went off and he didn't notice Paper Doll's glare.
"Yes, let's do it." Johnny said with a nod as everyone else chuckled a bit.
"I think that Johnny Cosmo should be the mayor per-." Spider-Man quickly covered her mouth.
"And show us how he does a good job." He said not wanting him to be the mayor everyday as Blossom glared at him her eyes shining red as her heat vision was about to power up.
"Anything else?" Johnny said preening at the compliment.
"Maybe-." Spider-Man was about to suggest a jail with a great security system to keep the bad guys when another voice spoke up.
"We put an arrest warrant out for that Web Headed Menace." Jameson's voice spoke up and they all stared at seeing him sitting with the council.
"Picklepuss?!" Spider-Man asked in surprise eliciting some giggles from the girls while Paper Doll glared at the man. "What are you doing here?"
"It's Jameson you masked menace!" Jameson roared at him.
"I invited him." Johnny said with a nod as Spider-Man turned to him slowly. "And he told me about your checkered past and I may have to agree with him."
"W-W-What?!" Spider-Man gaped at him under his mask.
Blossom blinked at hearing that. "Huh?"
Jameson grinned as Johnny gave a nod. "I declare this warrant to be active."
"WHAT?!" Everyone shouted gaping at Johnny.
"Did he just make me a wanted man?" Spider-Man asked in a deadpanned tone.
"Hah, finally an arrest warrant for the Masked Menace." Jameson laughed. "Well then where are the guards?"
"I'll call them right now." Johnny pulled out his phone.
"Screw this, I'm out of here." Spider-Man said before he paused turned around and shot a ball of webbing at Jameson covering his mouth. "There you go, an improvement on our hearing already."
With that he jumped out the window as Jameson gave muffled screams as all of the girls glared at him and Johnny.
Even Blossom glared at him for turning their teammate into a wanted criminal.
"Don't worry, he can't really implement warrants, we left that one out." The real Mayor promised them making them sigh in relief.
But Paper Doll was glaring openly at Jameson in pure anger.
Courage saw the glare as well as the dark energy going rampant around her and he shivered in fear.
"... Alright, next on the agenda is Citizen Feedback." Ms. Bellum said a little awkwardly.

Spider-Man was swinging away from City Hall in anger.
Why was it that no matter what, he always ends up with an arrest warrant?
Now even here in Japan where he's actually liked by both Civilians and Police he ended up with an arrest warrant because of this Johnny Cosmo guy?
The girls can watch over the asshole, he doesn't have to be there.
"I need something to hit." Spider-Man muttered sitting on the edge of the building.
Standing up, Spider-Man blinked when he saw what looked like three hat wearing amoeba's slithering down the sidewalk.
"What the hell?" Spider-Man asked with a raised eyebrow, wondering if he was seeing this right.
Jumping down there, Spider-Man landed in front of them. "Uh are you three lost?" He asked in confusion.
The pink amoeba was obviously a girl wearing a pink hat while the middle one was blue with a black top hat and a pipe and the final one was a green amoeba wearing some kind of western hat.
"Poncho, Violet look, a superhero!" The blue one said with a smirk.
"What should we do Tophat?!" Poncho, the green one asked in a panic.
"We cannot let him stop our crime spree." Violet said with a nod.
Spider-Man blinked. "What crime-spree?" He asked feeling weirded out.
Tophat gave a nod. "We're the Amoeba Brothers."
"Even though I'm a girl." Violet corrected him.
'I think staying with the girls would've been less of a headache.' Spider-Man thought his eye twitching.
"We're the baddest of the bad guys then the fellers that have already been here." Poncho declared with a fist raised.
"Oh goodness me, we are bad." Violet agreed.
"We are the greatest criminals you shall ever know!" Tophat said as they attempted an evil laugh.

"Poor Spidey." Bubbles said as they were on the other side of New Townsville with Johnny Cosmo signing autographs while attempting to get civilian feedback. "It's not right that this happened to him."
"That's right." Paper Doll said darkly glaring at Johnny. "He and Jameson should pay."
"But we can't do anything because we're heroes." Blossom said her admiration for Johnny Cosmo was gone because of what he did. "Man this sucks."
"Who cares what he or Jameson think?" Buttercup said with a snort. "They're just two idiots."
Unknown to them, Johnny was approaching the back of a blonde woman in a pink dress. "Excuse me, can you answer a few questions?"
"Of course I can." The woman turned to show it was a disguised Mojo causing Johnny to scream as the dress and wig were ripped off to show him in his usual look. "Hello Cosmo!"
"Mojo!" Buttercup got in a fighting stance as Courage screamed and hid behind Bubbles again.
"That's Mojo?" Paper Doll asked a little dumbfounded by the ape sneaking past them in a dress.
"From now on, I am the Mayor."
"Oh sure, go ahead I didn't want this dumb job anyways." Johnny Cosmo said nervously. "Just take this dumb sash, it's all you need."
"You do realize it's only for a day right?" Ms. Bellum asked causing Mojo to blink as he dropped Johnny in confusion and the actor ran for it to hide.
"A day?" Mojo Jojo asked in confusion. "I-I don't understand."
"And it's three 'o' clock, so the day is over." Ms. Bellum said gesturing to the real Mayor who was in a limo eating cake. "And the Mayor never works past three."
Mojo just stood there dumbfounded at what he was hearing. "F-For a day?"
He thought he had it perfect, no one told him it was only for a day.
"Alright girls, get him!" Blossom took command as all of them came at Mojo.
That snapped him out of it as the girls came at him before seeing Johnny Cosmo nearby and he smirked flying over and grabbing him holding him hostage.
"Well I guess you girls can't get me now." Mojo taunted as Paper Doll went flat and began slithering on the ground while his eyes were closed as he was laughing.
Blossom saw that and grinned before looking serious. "How low can you go Mojo?!" She asked to keep his attention from the ground.
"Oh I'll go as low as I can for I am going to rule the world." Mojo Jojo taunted as Paper Doll managed to make it behind him and came up. "And I-."
Mojo stopped. "Wait, weren't there four of you smelly humans-?"
"Smelly?" Paper Doll took offense to that as her fingers became sharp and she sliced through Mojo's cloak causing him to drop Johnny in surprise as he jumped away with his cloak shredded.
"You ruined Mojo Jojo's cloak you smelly human-." He stopped as he saw her dark aura. "Wait, why are you working with them? You have darkness in you."
Paper Doll glared at him. "Shut up." She said her dark aura showing more and the girls eyes widened at seeing that.
"Girls let's finish this quickly." Blossom said shooting her heat vision, hitting Mojo in the butt causing him to scream before Bubbles came up to him using her Sonic Scream blasting him towards Buttercup who rubbed her hands together gathering electricity.
"Take this!" He electrocuted Mojo knocking him to the ground as Paper Doll shook her head to calm down.
"Uh, Mojo is aching everywhere." Mojo Jojo muttered before he shot up and took off. "I'll be back!"
"Man that monkey can move when he wants to." Buttercup muttered before frowning. "I wonder what Spider-Man is doing?"

"How do I get stuck with the crazies?!" Spider-Man muttered as he's been chasing the three Amoeba Boys for awhile after hearing they were evolved by a black light so he knew that the Professor would like a look at them but they were craftier then they let on with running away.
"You'll never catch us!" Tophat declared as Spider-Man saw them slide under the car and he crouched beside it.
"That's what they all say." Spider-Man muttered before hearing something that sounded like cellular division as multiple amoeba'a came out and went all over the place. "Oh you have got to be kidding me."
A wave of amoebas tackled Spider-Man as it felt like he was sucked in as they fused together to create a giant amoeba.
"Oh gross." Spider-Man was happy that this new suit had a built in breathing device so he didn't suffocate as he was trying to get out. "Man and I thought Stiltman or the Matador was a weird criminal but a amoeba gang? And the sad part is they're tougher then you would think."
Finally managing to push himself out of the giant and got in a fighting stance. "Alright you giant blob, get ready to-."
A bark interrupted him as a poodle walked out causing the giant amoeba to scream as they separated into the three Amoeba Brother's again before running off screaming as the dog chased them.
"... What just happened?" Spider-Man muttered in total confusion as he held his head.

In downtown New Townsville a train was coming to a stop as people slowly got off to get to their destinations.
One however got off and looked at the town pushing his glasses to the bridge of his nose.
This person was a fourteen year old teenager with orange hair wearing what looked like a white lab coat, black pants and purple gloves covering his hands.
"So this is New Townsville." The teen muttered giving it a one over. "I've heard the rumors of this place having superheroes... I wonder if that claim is true?"
Shouldering his backpack, the teen walked into the city, determined to find out.

Bet you weren't expecting the Amoeba Boys to show up like that am I right? They will return in the future in their attempts to become 'Criminal Masterminds' and the finale for Paper Mache will be in the next chapter.
I am sorry for the wait on this chapter and I hope you enjoyed it with it all showing the humorous side of this story.

Nightmaster000: So true on Cletus only being the tip of the iceberg and he wasn't even at his worst yet. He'll have Canon powers with shape shifting as well as the pocket dimension gimmick because it would be hilarious to type everyone's reaction if he pulled an anchor out of nowhere. Oh Kat will appear in the near future. Thanks, it took a lot of thinking before I decided on Paper Doll because she only showed up once as far as I know so I figured she needed some spotlight and the next chapter will focus on her a bit more with her stalkerish tendecies being a bit more open. With Eris's interest in Nyx, kind of in between good and bad with it. And man that's a good idea for introducing Hoss.
Coldblue: Well she was only in one issue with Spider-Man, so I figured it would be nice to use her in this one and the next chapter will focus more on showing how the Black Z-Ray's affected her. So true on how Bubbles reacting to Cassidy.
Now for your Questions. 1) Well I think the Venom Symbiote could be formed from Peter's blood being hit by Black Z-Ray's during a fight and overnight, it forms around him (OUTCAST KING 101's idea). 2) He will. 3) Peter himself will make them soon. 4) After the Paper Mache Arc. 5) They're good, and I will show the fight in the next chapter. 6) Awesome ideas, I'll have them slowly discover the powers soon. 7) I think the end of this chapter answered your question. 8) Yes. 9) Of course. 10) They will attempt to do so. 11) I haven't really seen Legend of Korra, sorry. 12) You'll see. 13) Maybe when one of the Avenger's Enemies show up in Japan like Graviton or Loki they will. 14) No clue.
