Summery: Cybertron is split. In the Southern Hemisphere of Cybertron, the Decepticons whom are ruled by Megatron have control. They own slaves, who are treated as animals. The Autobots are in the North, and they believe in equality. It is ruled that if slaves are able to escape the Decepticons and head to the north, the 'Cons can't go and get them back. But, the slaves have to cross through neutral territory, some of whom would gladly bring them back. But many of them will help smuggle the slaves north.
I do not own Transformers! I'm just borrowing them for my own amusement.
As discovered in the last chapter, and in case you forgot: "Soundwave" "Barricade" "Shockwave"
The young femme fearfully darted behind several crystals, fearing that she would soon be hearing glitchhounds following her. She had escaped on her own, but she now had no idea what to do, or where to go.
She ducked behind another crystal, fearing she heard barks behind her. The femme stayed there for a moment, trembling. Then she took off running again, still using the crystals for cover.
She soon heard the glitchhounds barking and let out a small whimper of fear, running as fast as she could now.
She spotted a dwelling and ran towar it, not caring to think whether or not they could be Autobot or Decepticon supporters. She quickly made it to the door and banged on it.
A white and red mech opened the door and looekd down at her. "Hello?"
"P-Please help me!" The femme exclaimed, trembling.
The mech looked her over, his optics widening a bit when he spotted the insignia that showed her as a Decepticon slave.
"P-Please." The young femme pleaded.
The mech pulled her in, closing the door. He led her down a hall and opened a door, then headed down to the basement. The femme followed cautiously.
The mech glanced at her, then opened a hidden section of the wall. "Hide in here."
The femme's optics widened in shock, then she ran in. The mech closed the door behind her, moved a few crates in front of it, then headed back up the stairs.
He went to the main room of his dwelling and sat down on his couch, picking up a datapad. He activated it, just as there was a loud knocking on the door.
He stood, putting the datapad to the side, and walked over. He opened the door and saw two slave catchers standing in front of him, a growling glitchhound in front of them. "Yes?"
"Has a runaway slave come by?" One mech asked.
"No." The red and white mech answered.
The glitchhound growled and strained against it's leash.
"Our friend here says different." The other mech sneered.
The mech blinked. "I am telling you the truth."
"We'll see about that." The first mech growled and tried to push his way through, but the red and white mech stretched out, barring their way.
"Hey, get out of the way!" The second mech exclaimed.
"No." The red and white mech said. "You want to come inside, you need to have a warrant."
"Out of the way, Jetfire." The first mech growled.
"If you wish to come inside, get a warrant first Mixmaster. Same to you Scrapper." Jetfire said calmly.
"You're going to regret this, Jetfire." Mixmaster said coldly.
"I doubt that." Jetfire said. Then he took a step back, and closed his door.
He waited until they were gone, since he could hear them griping as they walked off, before going and grabbing a cube of energon. He went back down the stairs to the basement and moved the crates. He opened the hidden compartment to see the femme he had helped trembling in fear.
"It'll be alright. You're safe here, for now..." He knelt down in front of her.
"W-Who are you?" The femme asked shakily.
"Jetfire. And you are?" He asked, holding the cube out to her.
"Altezza." The femme said, hesitating before taking the cube.
"Nice to meet you, Altezza. You should stay here for the time being. I know someone who will bring you to safety."
"Who?" She asked.
"I can not tell you that." Jetfire said, standing. He was telling the truth. Many slaves had appeared on his doorstep. Every time he contacted for someone to help them, a different bot came.
Solarstrike nodded shakily. "O-Okay..."
Jetfire closed the hidden compartment, promising he'd be back with someone to help her.
-00000-
"I have been contacted by Jetfire."
"What did he say?"
"A femme slave escaped and managed to find her way to his dwelling."
"You going to go after her?"
"No."
"What? Why not?"
"That would be illogical."
"Aw, shut up about logic. Why are you always like that?"
"Because. It would be illogical for Soundwave to go out, seeing as it's his shift."
"Shockwave is correct. Megatron would notice I was missing."
"... *Deep sigh* I... guess you two are right... As always..."
"Do not be sad, Barricade. Tell you what... Why don't you go on the mission to get the femme?"
"Truly?"
"Yes."
"Alright!" -Connection cut-
"Was that logical, Soundwave."
"Perhaps. It will be helpful for Barricade to go out into the field every so often."
"... Your logic is sound."
