Saturday. As determined as he was to stay clear (at least a five meters radius around the brunet, except when he was on delivery job, for which he needed to be face-to-face with the customer) he had to give in for today. There was a strong reason why he needed to "jump" into the trap today. Restraining himself from jumping out of the vehicle, Cloud slumped heavily into the passenger's seat beside Zack in his yellow pick-up truck. Their destination was, The Leonhart Castle where everything began.
Earlier on in the morning, Cloud was still snoring away from staying awake all night due to watching midnight action movies. The butt kicking, gut punching, car crashing, frickin' huge explosive bombing scenes kept him wide awake for the rest of the night. When at three AM, the movie ended, its credit list on the screen, Cloud immediately crashed into his mattress, literally snoring from brain exhaustion. But before his brain finished replenishing its energy in a deep sleep, he vaguely heard a knocking sound from the front door of his apartment room.
Cloud groaned tiredly, deciding to ignore whomever-the-hell it was disrupted his much needed sleep, until at least late noon. He sank deeper into the bed. He sandwiched his head between the mattress and a pillow to lessen the rapping noise on his door and in his ears, but the knocking sound was persistent. At least the blasted smart-behind that was knocking on his door was persistent. They got louder each time, and more rapid.
The tired blond growled groggily, kicking his thin blanket over to the side using his foot before he threw the innocent pillow at his bedroom door out of frustration, the kind he always had whenever he lacked of good nights' sleep. And he sure lacked of that recently, especially since a certain man appeared out of nowhere and suddenly introduced himself as his new neighbour.
"Alright! Alright! I'm coming, okay!" He didn't like the sound of his own husky voice; his throat kind of hurt too, probably flu symptoms. He cleared his throat, pushing himself off the bed and stood, staggering to the door, stumbled on the pillow that he had bounced off the door earlier before regaining his balance again with a curse word escaping his lips unconsciously. He fought to find the door knob with his still-closed eyes and when he found it, he rotated it awkwardly like a toddler, harshly pulling the door open until the hard wood bumped his forehead flat with a loud bang. He fell to the floor instantly, butt first, blinking his big blue eyes in startle, but the result was worth it. His eyes were wide open now, although there was a throbbing pain in his forehead as he reached his hand up to find a slight stinging bump on it. Cloud sighed deeply, propping his weight on stiffened arms to bring his body up, "I can't take this kind of thing every single morning." He complained under his breath and padded to the front door.
Swallowing a breath, Cloud stifled a yawn that was about to come out and prevented him from looking like a wide-jawed sleepy hippo. Not in front of Zack at least.
"Yo! Morning, Cloud!" The man greeted in an obnoxiously cheery kind of tone. His hand rose in a universal sign of 'hello' and a wide grin gracing his face like a child over a candy.
"So much sugar in the morning?" the corner of Cloud's mouth twitched in mock dismay, hovering by the door frame, unconsciously reached his hand to his back to scratch his itchy butt cheek before he realized something and held it hook over his waist instead. "What's wrong?" He asked.
"It's Saturday!" Zack remarked cheerfully.
Cloud lifted an eyebrow, "So?"
"It's the weekend!" The man said again. He held his spread arms like he was presenting something or someone important. Zack sighed dramatically when Cloud didn't change his expression and just stilled. "Don't you remember? Leon promised to lend us some games."
"You. Not 'us'," Cloud corrected with sudden irritation that shone freely in his eyes at the mention of the brunet's name. "And for crying out loud, it's porn games!" He cleared his throat awkwardly when the next door neighbour was seen out of the corner of his eye and looked slightly disgusted at his words, before she hurriedly open her own door and then closed it with a low click.
"Anyway. Why should I go too? You just have to knock on his door. Count me out, I'm not interested." He said with his thumb pointed at Leon's closed apartment door on his left.
"I can't." Zack lifted his shoulders in a small shrug. "He wasn't in."
Cloud wrinkled his nose. "Huh?"
Zack nodded at Leon's door. "Leon called me this morning. He said he's not in his apartment now. He's in his house, doing some due date works. And he said you know the place, so he said I have to ask you to bring me there." He stared up at the ceiling as if he was thinking. "Wonder where he got my cell number, though. I don't remember ever giving him that." Zack looked back at the wide-eyed blond, "Did you?" He asked, totally oblivious to the other's shocked expression.
Cloud tipped his head to the side, but didn't shake it. Wait a minute! He cried aloud in his thoughts. First, Leon had been annoying him via phone and e-mail, and then stalking him to his home, and now Zack's-. Cloud trailed off the last thought. Banging his head into the wall beside him seemed very appealing right about now. "That creep!" He grunted grudgingly, deciding not to answer Zack's question; although he was actually wondering about it too. Just where the hell did Leon get all of this information, his cell number, his exact address, now Zack's phone number?
Cloud sighed exasperatedly. He could just give Zack Leon's address and let him go there by himself, and then he could happily go back to bed. But the fact that Leon seemed to have sources to everything and everyone around him made him decided against it. He should go with Zack. He had to ask Leon directly. He would even strangle Leon to get the truth out if it was necessary.
Cloud gasped silently, suddenly his vision spun and the scene in front of his eyes turned grey. He felt a sour taste in the back of his throat.
"Cloud, you alright?" Zack's eyes narrowed, regarding his face. He looked like he'd seen a ghost. "You look a bit pale." He amended as he tried to touch Cloud's forehead with his hand, but Cloud dodged it.
He shook his head, swallowing a bitter taste in his mouth and closed it fast with a hand before he would throw up on Zack. "No, I'm alright. I'll go change." Cloud croaked lowly and turned inside his apartment room hastily.
Worried wrinkles formed between Zack's eyebrows for a moment, but he decided to let it go instead and followed the blond inside. He closed the door with his foot. "By the way, I haven't had any breakfast." The raven haired man announced cheerily. He wouldn't push Cloud to tell him the truth. Cloud was the type that didn't like people who made a fuss over something he didn't want to tell himself, but Zack made a mental note. He would be ready if something was really happening to Cloud.
Cloud snorted, walking in the direction of his small bathroom. Too absorbed in the movie he had been watching, he had forgotten to take a bath last night. "If you don't mind toast and eggs: sunny-side up, I'll prepare them right away after a short bath."
Zack made a non-committal sound, he opened the fridge and looked around inside. "Do you have any sausages or bacon?" He shouted.
"I said toast and eggs, didn't I?!" The blond shouted back from the bathroom.
"How about ham?" He totally ignored Cloud's words.
The blond grunted, loud enough to be heard in the kitchen. Zack laughed loudly.
Your Excellency Squall Leonhart. After witnessing the interior of his marvellous castle with his own eyes and heard the extraordinary lineage Leon had, Cloud started to think he should call the man by this title. Though, the 'heard the extraordinary lineage' part was not really 'heard' and it was only his assumption after he examined one wall in the parlour. After a young maid asked them to wait for the young master she went to inform him of their arrival. There was something that looked like a tanned skin of some wild animal in a gilded frame, which almost covering the wall across a white marble fireplace with a huge painting of a regally-styled gentleman hanging above it. The man in the painting resembled Leon's profile a lot, although the low pony-tailed dark brown hair was longer than Leon's.
A lot of names were lined on the smoothed skin in black-inked carving, forming some kind of a family tree. He couldn't read all of them because Leon had already appeared at the door with a wide grin on his face when he captured Cloud's figure. However, he was pretty sure that at the top of the tree had been the word "Marquis" before the name, and then Leon's name. 'Squall Leonhart' (if he remembered it correctly) was carved somewhere along the lower generations - one generation above from, he assumed, the youngest generation in the family tree - although he didn't see any title on Leon's name. But still…
The blond smirked sardonically, 'Lucky bastard', he said in his head when they were already in Leon's office. "But a fucking numb-nuts." Was amended in a low growl as he remembered he was the 'honorary' object of this Highness' rotten antics.
Cloud sank heavily on a pristine leather designer sofa beside the carved door frame. Above the sofa hung a wall tapestry that had woven on it a scene of numerous monstrous creatures, which had razed a town fortress through the breached thick greyish west wall. The smoky remains of a huge explosion said it all. Soldiers were thrown high into the sky and some had landed amongst the enemy, who were marching outside the wall. The town was cornered, but the ill creatures wouldn't win the war - that was the impression Cloud strangely got.
Such a remarkable work stole Cloud's attention for a while before the strange cold air swirled around the room. He tried to ignore it but it was fighting with the abnormal heat of his body and it became unbearable. Cloud coughed twice on the back of his fist to suppress the sound. He could only stare blankly at the two men across from him.
"Have you found the games that you would like?" Leon asked in amusement; his arms and ankles crossed casually. He leaned back onto the rim of an oversized polished mahogany work desk. The surface was almost filled with three flat-screen monitors aligned on the corner side, two keyboards below the monitors and some more computer hardware. Cloud didn't recognized the names or what they were for or how to use them, but they were lined to almost the centre of the table, and an expensive-looking fountain pen stood proudly in its holder at the corner a few inches from the spot where Leon's back was touching.
"There's a lot!" Zack exclaimed with naked enthusiasm; studying each copy's resumes printed on its cover case diligently before he tucked the ones he found interesting into his crooked arms. Several of the games Leon had already picked especially for them, before they had arrived. Mostly are adult games. "I can't decide…." Zack thumped his forehead against the shelf and groaned in frustration.
Leon found it hilarious, he laughed heartily and waved a hand as he spoke. "Take your time. You can take as many games as you want."
Cloud only stared at them in disinterest, not that it wasn't interesting to see how Zack whined endlessly about which game he had to choose, but he felt terribly worn out, which was odd. His energy seemed to seep out of his body, wildly like water in a hollowed bucket. He cupped his cheek in the palm of his hand, which was rested on the arm of the sofa. His eye lids dropped to half-mast and he felt the cold air biting his skin more and more. Even the skin underneath all the layers of his t-shirt and jacket shivered from the cold; although he was sure he felt a trickle of sweat running down his back because he also felt heat stinging the crown of his head. His breath was ragged too, almost panting. He closed his eyes in pain and bit the inside of his lower lip to regain control of himself before he hyperventilated and possibly fainted in a place he couldn't have preferred less to fall unconscious in.
It was too late though. Leon realized what was happening when he turned his head in Cloud's direction, stealing occasional glances at the blond the entire time. In fact, Leon had already suspected something was wrong with him when he saw Cloud persistently shrug off Zack's concern. Earlier, even though Leon knew Cloud hadn't wanted him to see it, Leon had still witness Cloud's subtle stumble on the smooth, sparkling white marble floor in the main hall. But he couldn't bring himself to ask anything because of the constant glare the blond gave him. The angry brief whisper that Cloud had something important he wanted to talk to him about, made him silent.
Leon straightened his stance and padded to the sofa Cloud was sitting on, his eyes filled with genuine worry. Leon knelt down beside him and brought his hand up to cup Cloud's knee and squeezed it gently. Now he was sure something was wrong. Normally, Cloud would have literally kicked him off even with the slightest touch or even just a teasing gaze. "Cloud?" He asked softly.
He didn't get any response beside a weak flutter of Cloud's eye lids. His blue eyes were blank and looked hurt, with threads of red blood vessels shrouding the whites of his eyes. Leon tentatively ran his knuckle down Cloud's jaw. It felt hot, he was sweating, and his cheeks were flushed. "Cloud, you okay?" He asked again. When Leon finally managed to get his hand slipped through Cloud's jacket and cup the side of his damp neck, Cloud snapped back to reality. He gasped sharply and swatted the hand away harshly. "Wh-what…." He trailed off in a croak, his bleary eyes unfocused and he looked confused, shaking his head desperately.
"Cloud, you have a fever!" Leon remarked in surprise.
"Ah, just as I thought. Why didn't you tell me earlier?" Zack admonished him sternly though his voice was still full of concern. He put his selection of games on a small table in a corner and sat beside Cloud. He brushed Cloud's blond bangs off his forehead before pulling him in by his shoulder with another hand so he could touch his own forehead to Cloud's. The scene made Leon clenched his fists and he watched them with narrow, smouldering eyes for a few seconds. However, he decided that it wasn't an important thing right now. "Fever. Positively a fever. And a high one." Zack stated.
"I'll call a doctor." Leon stood up and scurried to the antique bronze-gilded telephone apparatus on a small rack attached to his work desk. Leon was about to spin the last two digits of his family doctor's phone number when he heard rustling sounds and Zack's warning voice. He turned his head back to the sofa. Cloud was staggering, clearly forcing himself to stand.
"No, I'm going home." Leon vaguely heard. Zack was trying to make Cloud sit back on the sofa, but the blond was too stubborn and he was trying to walk to the door instead. After just two steps, Zack pulled on his shoulder and sat him back on the sofa, despite Cloud's grunt of protests. Zack stood to the side to block the way in case the blond one tried to stand again.
Leon spun the last two digits in a hurry and when he finally heard the familiar voice on the other end of the line; he spoke briskly, "Hello! Doctor Merlin? It's Leon. Come to my house quickly. Now!" Without waiting for any reply, he almost threw the receiver into its cradle with a loud 'clank' and walked back to the sofa. He knelt again beside the blond who was nearly hyperventilated, cupping his hand on Cloud's knee just as earlier. "I've called a doctor. I'll order a maid to prepare a room for you. You should lay down in bed and rest."
Cloud glowered down at him, like his last energy was only left in his eyes. He shook his head weakly and grabbed Zack's lower right arm to support himself. Zack clicked his tongue while he propped Cloud's body up, which was plastered to his, front to front. Cloud's head sank heavily onto the other's left shoulder. "He's the most stubborn kid you'll ever met, isn't he?" He said, lifting up an eyebrow to the brunet who was still kneeling on the floor, watching Cloud with worry.
"At least let the doctor check on you first." Leon wheedled as he stood up.
"Cloud, listen to him and, ouch!" Zack yelped when he felt Cloud's nails scratched the back of his right hand cruelly. Seeing that, Leon sighed deeply. "Guess we just have to take him home. I'll call the doctor again to come to his apartment instead."
Zack nodded in agreement, nursing the wounded hand on his upper thigh. He slipped an arm around Cloud's waist and helped him walk to his truck alone because Cloud refused the help from Leon. Cloud was seated in the passenger's seat and Zack buckled the safety belt for him, his head practically thumped onto the window beside him when Zack closed the door. He didn't even try to yelp because of the dull pain it caused, his energy had been lost to the core. His eyes fluttered weakly, taking a glance from under his blond lashes through the glass and saw Zack and Leon chat a while before the raven haired one rounded the front of the car and opened the door. He sat in the driver's seat and Leon followed him to the side.
On his way to full unconsciousness, Cloud managed to hear the last bits of their conversation before Zack closed the door and turned the ignition.
"I don't know why, but, does Cloud hate you or something?"
Leon tilted his head to the side as if he were thinking about the question. "Well, yeah. I think so." He shrugged. "But my feelings for him won't change." The brunet added a second later.
"Hee… You must be really like him."
Leon didn't answer. He just smiled fondly, glancing at Cloud who slowly closed his eyes, his face gradually calming although the rhythm of his breathing was still the same as earlier.
The first thing that came to his mind was his breakfast from the previous morning. He only ate a half of the egg and a couple bites of toast. He didn't even touch the milk in his mug.
"What is this? It's warm." He mumbled lowly.
The physical feeling of it was surprisingly comforting, but the knowledge that he didn't know the source of the warmth that was plastered flatly against his back, even round his side and onto his stomach, prevented him from feeling calm.
Cloud moved his hand beneath the blanket. Something long and warm hindered his hand from going any further, so he pulled the blanket down, bit by bit until it reached his waist. He was pretty sure he was in his apartment room. The feel of his hard bed and the glimpse of his smiling mother in her photograph on the small drawer across the bed, illuminated by a line of sun light through the thin closed curtain, confirmed it.
He grasped his jailer by his waist. It was positively an arm. And judging from its size, the tight muscles and the feel of some hair, it was positively a guy's. Cloud forced himself to digest the situation he was in with his still-numb-from-fever brain. He trailed the arm which ended on his stomach. A hand was cupping his stomach! He saw red. Cloud tried to move his head, another arm was tucked beneath his head. He felt the tip of those fingers caressing his nose lightly. His eyes went wide as saucers.
A guy was sleeping behind him. He was positive. He could hear a soft snoring sound filling his ear and feel the raise and falling movement of breathing, a hard chest touching his back had seduced him into a peaceful lull. Just go back to sleep. It was supposed to be a relaxing situation in a different way, but it wasn't for Cloud. He elaborated further in his mind, 'or in a different time, or maybe with a different gender'. He suddenly wondered why there was a feeling of doubt for the last statement.
'Who is this guy?' He thought in panic. In a normal situation, he would just jump out and throw the guy off. But he had not recovered from his fever and all of his physical power had been reducing to zero. He could only be still in his awkward position.
Cloud stiffened as he detected the other was waking up from the tightened embrace around him. A sleepy growl vibrated on the nape of his neck. He flinched when he felt what he believed was a nose nuzzled his neck, and down there too, the red he'd seen was darkening in alarm. Something hard and thick that he was painfully aware of was nestled casually between his butt-cheeks like it was really in its rightful place. Cloud grimaced in horror. What's it called again? Morning erection?
"WHAT THE HELL?!" With a forced effort, Cloud bolted up, freeing himself from the tight embrace and kicked the body down the bed. The guy cried in pain as his body collided with the hard wooden floor, or perhaps from the hard kick to his belly. Or both.
"What happened?" A dark head popped out from over the bed's edge, his rusty voice tinged with pain. Cloud braced himself in the rumpled blanket, eyes wide and alert and he flattened his back to the wall beside the bed, waiting with a slightly lifted foot: his emergency weapon.
A pair of eyes blinked twice as the lips below it tugging up into a full smile. "Oh. Morning, Cloud!"
'That voice…' Cloud reached the curtain behind him without breaking his glare at the voice's owner and slid it open, flooding the room in the warm rays of the sun through the panelled window. The dark silhouetted figure was now in clear form, showing him who it was.
It was Leon.
"Wha—?" Before Cloud could finished his words, he flinched again when Leon rose up and crouched onto the bed. With a satisfied grunt at Cloud's unexpected stillness, Leon reached up an arm and flatted the palm onto Cloud's forehead. "Seems the fever's gone." Leon murmured.
"I'll call Doctor Merlin again to check on your condition later." He added again.
Cloud's jaw worked in silence. The bitter taste was still lingering when he gulped past the dryness in his mouth. He didn't realize he had let Leon within his restricted radius he'd set between them until after the brunet finally eased back, sitting on the bed face to face with him. A wide smile graced Leon's face.
Cloud blinked, "Why are you here?" He demanded. The words came out surprisingly smooth, and without the usual sharp accusatory tone he always charged the other with.
Leon tipped his head to the side as if he was picking the right words without having Cloud's kick land on his belly again, or maybe on another delicate part at his lower region. He hummed thoughtfully. "Hmm… Let's see… Zack brought you home yesterday from my house," he began. Leon motioned his fingers like he was counting. "I called the doctor to come here instead, then, I drove here. Zack said he had an errand to run, so in his place I offered myself to take care of you for the night." He ended it with a grin.
Cloud narrowed his eyes cruelly. "Take care of me, by sleeping next to me in my bed?" There. The accusatory tone was back.
The brunet shrugged, his facial expression was clearly amused. "I don't even mind if you pass the fever onto me. If you know how to…" He trailed off suggestively.
Cloud hissed, ready for another retort. Unfortunately, though fortunate enough for Leon, the fever (even though it had receded) had left him feeling exhausted and his body was tired. "Get out!" He barked lowly, glaring hard at Leon like he could shoot a hole in his body with just a look.
Leon complied, standing up from the bed, decided that Cloud needed more rest. An amused grin was still gracing his face as he opened the bedroom door. Then, he suddenly halted his steps, turning back to Cloud who was still in his vigilant position "Oh. And… thanks for the treat." Leon winked.
Cloud gave him a look. "Thanks? Treat?" He asked in confusion.
Leon stared at the ceiling, humming whole-heartedly at the reminiscence he saw in his mind's eye. After a few moment of Leon's silent 'admiration' of the white ceiling and Cloud's bewildered look, Leon turned his head again at Cloud. He tugged his own black shirt at the chest part, a little crumpled from sleeping, but nodded at Cloud, indicating towards the blond's striped blue shirt. The collar part peeked from beneath the blanket.
Cloud looked down, slightly lifting the blanket up to see what he was wearing. A striped blue shirt and… a striped blue shirt. It was the upper part of his pajamas. He didn't feel any other fabric on his skin beside the shirt he was wearing and the blanket over his body. Cloud wrinkled his nose, desperately trying to dismiss any unwanted thoughts behind this kind of scene.
Wait a minute! He demanded to himself. He didn't wear this yesterday. It was a navy blue t-shirt with some famous band's name printed on the front, a pair of jeans and a jacket. In other words, he was fully clothed yesterday. Cloud gasped in understanding, snapping his head back to where Leon stood in front of the open door.
Leon chuckled lightly, "Took you long enough to notice. Lucky me."
Cloud was still waiting.
"You sweated a lot last night." The brunet eyed Cloud's face as he spoke again. "Don't worry. Zack's the one who changed your clothes." But Cloud's huff of relieve was interrupted after the man then added. "But I helped."
The blond one gaped in shock, unconsciously pulling his body together. He rounded his arms around his bent legs like a little child who saw boogeyman crawling out from under his bed to eat him alive.
Leon snickered happily. He brought up two fingers in V shape. "Twice!" He remarked. "Couldn't ask for more, but I will ask, or not in the future."
Cloud's jaw stiffened. Twice. Right. 'The bathroom and now…' He stopped his thoughts. Couldn't get himself to finish the sentence without the urge to smash the window above him and jump down to the street below, head first. Leon had seen him with absolutely nothing on his body, twice already.
"Too bad I didn't have the heart to touch more. I'm not the kind who forces himself to someone, y'know. So I slept, literally, with you last night. It is very satisfying. For now." He emphasized the last two words as in he was hoping for something more intimate in the near future.
At that, Cloud regained his composure again. Hissing out curses, he gritted to the impudent man across from him. "Sleep? With your blasted erection nudging my butt?"
Leon widened his eyes in put-on innocence. "Oh. So that's what is making you so grumpy this morning. It's normal, isn't it?" He asked without expecting any reply. "Morning erection." He elaborated at Cloud's dismayed look.
Leon had no idea that Cloud's look was either from disgust or maybe from something else the blond denied, debating fiercely in his pretty head. The thought of his plastered body was comforting enough to make his body relax but dipped his brain into a riot. Cloud looked down to his blanketed knees, staring at nothing, obviously trying not to look at Leon especially at the area below his waist.
"I have work to do." Leon said suddenly, bringing Cloud's head straight again to looked at him.
The brunet winked at Cloud for the second time that morning, saying, "Get some rest, and have a good bath to get rid of the sweat. I want to get the timing right so I walk in on you in the shower and I see your fully naked body - for the third time." He breathed the last sentence dreamily.
Cloud growled; his cheeks flushed in fury, or maybe in embarrassment. Grabbing the pillow near his side, the blond threw the innocent object in Leon's direction who managed to dodged it and slip through the door with an amused snicker. "Get out!" He shouted.
After he made sure he heard the sound of the front door click open and closed again, Cloud sighed and sank heavily into the bed, landing on his side. So much had happened in one morning when he had not been in his best condition. Exhaustion lapped over him again. His brain refused to think about anything anymore. He needed sleep, desperately.
Inhaling deeply on the bed that still had Leon's cologne smell lingering on the fabric, Cloud slowly drifted into deep sleep once again. Blinking his eyes weakly, he closed them in full unawareness of his surrounding, including the scant amount of clothes he wore beneath the blanket that covered him.
Cloud hadn't the slightest idea that he had mistaken the sounds of his front door earlier. It was fortunate for Leon that Cloud hadn't bothered to check on it and discover his fake exit.
Hovering by the door frame, Leon waited a few moments to make sure Cloud was sound asleep. Then he walked inaudibly to the bed, kneeling beside it, and lined himself with Cloud's head. He ran his fingers down the line of Cloud's cheek bone to his jaw, enjoying the feel of smooth skin beneath his. He then leaned in, pressing his lips to Cloud's lightly. The blond stirred, but still soundly slept.
The brunet chuckled. "Now now don't wake up, Cloud. It's not a fairy tale." He murmured softly into Cloud's lips.
Leon leaned in again, lingering a bit longer this time, savoured the softness of Cloud's lips before he dared himself to part the blond's lips with his own and slipped his tongue inside, tasting Cloud's flavour and warmth. He tilted his head for a better access, although all he could do was only press their lips and explore near the entrance. Everything Cloud possessed was perfect. And the cutest part, in Leon's opinion, was Cloud himself, who hadn't even realized that fact.
Cloud groaned, moving his head. Leon reluctantly pulled himself back. Staring at the peaceful sleeping face, he prepared himself for the flipped-open blue eyes and the expected outburst of rage from the blond. It didn't happen though. A smile tugged on both corners of his mouth and Leon carefully brushed his fingers through Cloud's hair, caressing some strands in his hand.
He whispered into Cloud's ear, "I'll make you do these things and even more with me willingly one day. Soon." The last word came as a promise. He kissed Cloud's temple and stood up. He walked back to the front door, this time he really went out of the room and strode to his own apartment to call his family doctor.
