Temari and KusuKusu wait for their guests to return. Temari taps her finger loudly, her fist closing and opening as if she was choking many ants. KusuKusu, who had been with Temari her whole life, was sitting close to the door, staring at Temari's scowling face with anxiety.
The door opens and slammed onto the poor wall next it (which made KusuKusu jump). Dia and Su was standing at the doorway, their eye sparkling and smiles wide. Temari greets her guest with a smile, only for it to tighten back into a glare. Her purple eyes ignite, staring at the sister's empty hands (which where supposed to bring back their forgotten pajamas).
"What were you even doing there?!" Temari asks angrily, looking about ready to kill somebody. KusuKusu and Su starts backing away slowly, afraid of the Temari's reaction. Dia, however, seems unfazed. In fact, she isn't even listening! About ready to explode, she finally lets it out.
"Mamaandpapabrokeup!"
The Fujisaki sisters look at their guests in confusion. "Excuse me?" they ask simultaneously.
"Mama. And. Papa. Broke. Up!" Dia repeats slowly, a big grin plastered on her face
"And that's a good thing why?" asks the still-confused hostesses.
"Because…" Su explains the whole, terrible situation with their dad and them, making sure to emphasis how he never really acted like a father to them anyway, and how he pampered his son from his first marriage like royalty. Dia rummages through her backpack while Su is talking, her smile so big that it barely fits on her face.
"Also- THIS!" Dia yells dramatically, pulling out a black and white article with a picture of the most talked about violin player of all time printed on it.
"You see, mama said that they were 'old high school friends'," Su explains, noticing the confused look on their friends' faces, "so… it's plan Get Tsukiyomi Ikuto to Be Our New Dad! GTITBOND for short!"
"That's way too long," mutters KusuKusu, chuckling the way she does.
"Huh? Tsukiyomi Ikuto? Oh, I know him!" The four girls turn around and see Temari's fraternal twin, Rhythm, standing in the doorway.
"How do you know Tsukiyomi-kun?!" ask the teenage girls.
"He's Daichi's uncle," Rhythm answers.
"Take us to him," Temari says in a threatening voice, sounding a bit like one of the aliens from those outdated sci-fi movies. Rhythm, petrified in fear of his twin, agrees without hesitation.
"Alright!" whispers Su, bouncing excitedly.
"Let's go!" Dia says impatiently, dragging KusuKusu, Temari, and Rhythm out the door.
(IKUTO'S POV)
"The clapping from the concert stopped minutes before, and now I sit on a chair, small drops of sweat rolling creeping out from under my (beautiful) blue hair. Sighing, I take out an old handkerchief (which looked like a rag now) and dry my forehead. Playing violin isn't easy, I just make it look like it is. Sighing, I neatly fold and tuck it away. As i take my hand of of my shirt pocket, a gold locket falls out as well. I panic for a second, but (luckily) catch the necklace before it can fall onto the ground.
'You move like a cat!' I remember that cute voice that had told me of my cat like reflexes. Feeling a wave of nostalgia, I open my locket to reveal a picture of seven high school kids, Utau, and me. I smile a bit as I stare at the girl in the middle.
The crowd began to leave, as did the musicians. I sigh and look at the time. The hour hand points to the number 11. I get off the chair and put my violin back into its case. There was no reason to rush, though. It wasn't as if anybody was waiting for me at home. Utau married that sports jock, mom was resting underground, and nobody knows what the hell happened to Tsukiyomi Aruto.
I stand up straight with my violin in I am about to leave, I hear someone calling my name.
"Mr. Tsukiyomi Ikuto!" I jump, a bit shocked from the loud voice. I turn to my left and see five kids. One of them I already know, Fujisaki Rhythm. The purple-haired girl looks like Rhythm a bit and I didn't know what to make of the blond clown. The other two, though - I can feel a pain in my chest. 'They look like… her.'
"Hi, Mr. Tsukiyomi, kusukusukusu!" blondie says. "This is Hotori Dia," she points to the younger blond girl, "and this is her sister Su." The clown points to the person next to Dia. I furrow my brow. 'Hotori.' It makes perfect sense why they look like her. They even sound a little like her.
"Idiot." The clown whimpers. I smile inwardly, remember the countless times Amu called me that. "Sorry, let me re-introduce ourselves. I'm Hinamori Dia and my older sister is Hinamori Su." My eyes widen in shock.
"Hinamori?! Are you sure not Hotori?!" I accidentally say out loud.
"Uh huh," mutters Dia. I ball my hands into fist. 'I swear Hotori-kun, if you have done anything to her I will come to your house and smack you!'
For a moment, anger blinds me. Until...
"Hello? Mr. Tsukiyomi? Are you okay?" Suddenly, somebody is waving their hand across my face.
"Yeah. Sorry, I'm just a little tired," I lie. Su crosses her arms and puffs her cheeks.
"We said, we want to interview you for a school project!" she exclaims, a bit annoyed. Dia nods.
"But it's a little late now so… can we meet up at Miel Doré Patisserie tomorrow at three?" I nod. If they're going to that place, there is a 90% chance that Amu will go too.
"Okay!" the sisters exclaim running away. Wait, how did they even get past security? Did Amu drop them off?! Did I miss her?
As they leave, I hear one of them calling to me. I could not recognize the voice, but i guess it was the Rhythm look alike.
"Thanks for ignoring my existence."
