Pirates vs Ninjas: Battles of Love and Will Chapter IX: Kaizoku vs Ninja 2

Not far from the Hokage's tower, a large group of ANBU agents were hiding in the shadows with their commanding officer before them.

"The battle has begun and we've yet to receive an order from the Godaime Hokage" he said to his men. "I fear that either she has been attacked, or that we have been cut off. In this situation, my orders go head of the Hokage's until we re-establish contact with command. Your orders are to subdue the escaped prisoners and move the wounded to the hospital. Understood?"

"Rokai! (Roger)" sounded the agents. Then one of them noticed something moving behind their commanding officer.

"Taichou!" he shouted as he and the rest of the ANBU snapped to attention. The captain turned around to see a large figure standing in the shadows.

"You there! Identify yourself!" he shouted drawing his ninjato. The figure began to walk forward into the light revealing that it was none other than Killer B.

"Yo" he said pulling down his glasses to reveal his green demonic eyes, grinning.

Nami turned to see where Hinata was looking and saw it was out through the large windows of the office. She followed her gaze and saw a large group of ninjas that looked similarly to Hinata, but did not share her cute and warm demeanor.

"Those are…"

"My clan. My father must have sent them to join the battle. They are very strong. I'm worried about the others."

"Well then…" said Nami rather confidently as she rested her foot on the windowsill. "Let's give them a hand. ZORO!"

From across the battlefield, Zoro's ears twitched at the sound of Nami's voice, making him turn to see her standing in the window frame of a large building. "The hell does that woman wh-" he began, but caught himself when he saw her holding up Sandai Kitetsu and Shusui. "Finally! Now all I need to do is grab them and take care of this annoying bas- what is she doing?" The swordsman squinted at the navigator and saw to his horror, that she had thrown his prized swords.

"YOU BITCH!" he shrieked bolting to his falling swords as fast as his legs could carry him. Kakashi blinked in confusion, but quickly saw what the first mate was doing.

"This isn't good. If he gets his hands on those swords, he'll be fighting at all full strength" he said seriously. "If Genjutsu has no effect on you and I cannot beat you in Taijutsu, then let's see how you fair against Ninjutsu." The Copy Cat ninja began to form hand seals as he ran after Zoro, to unleash one of his few original jutsu. Blue electricity began to jump from his hand and lick the ground as he ran before Kakashi jumped into the air above the chaos of the other ninjas fighting.

"Roronoa Zoro! I can't let you go any further, which has led me to use one of my most powerful techniques: Raikiri!" he shouted with conviction.

Zoro looked over his shoulder at the ninja and grinned. "Lightning Cutter eh? Well…" he said placing Wado Ichimonji in his mouth, "…let's see who has the better cutting edge." He jumped straight up into the air with his arms outstretched to grab his falling swords. Kakashi jumped after him and drew nearer and nearer to him, determined to land his attack first. If he didn't, he wasn't sure if he'd survive. Zoro's hands grasped the tsuka of both blades just as Kakashi thrust his hand at him.

"Raikiri!" he shouted, his hand mere inches from Zoro's back.

"Santoryu…" said Zoro calmly. "Oni…GIRI! (Three Sword Style: Demon Slash)"

Kakashi flew past the pirate in an eerie silence. There was no sound that could be heard, safe the sound of rigging steel. Unbeknownst to the two, the remaining ninjas had stopped fighting and watched what they could of the fight. They waited for a sound to break the silence, the sound of conformation that one of the attacks successfully landed on the other. And then, the silence was broken.

"Gahhh!" cried Kakashi as he crumpled in the air with blood splatter surrounding him. The lower ranked ninjas stared in horror as their commanding officer fell from the sky, eyes white. Zoro landed before his fallen opponent with his arms held lightly across his chest, allowing the saya of his swords land perfectly on the tips and resheathed themselves, to which he returned them to his haramaki. He then drew forth the white saya of Wado Ichimonji with his right hand, removed the daito katana from his mouth with his left hand, and sheathed it slowly before quickly clicking the tsuba and koiguchi together. As soon as they connected, Kakashi crashed to the ground unconscious. (a/n: I apologize for using so much katana lingo, but there is no other way of describing what is going on. Those of you who are familiar with Shonen series should know what is going on though.)

"Hm. Raikiri? Don't make me laugh" said Zoro not amused. "You're a thousand years too young to think you could beat me in a contest of cutting."

"H-Hatake-taichou was beaten!" cried out the ninjas of Konoha, both shocked and terrified that their prized famous Jonin had lost. But there was one ninja however, that would not take this loss sitting down.

Not far from where Zoro and Kakashi had fought, Sanji and Maito Gai were still locked in combat.

"Collier (Neck), Épaule (Shoulder), Côtelette (Rib), Selle (Lower Back), Gigot (Legs), Poitrine Shoot! (Breast Shoot)" shouted the cook sending kick after powerful kick at Konoha's Green Beast. Amazingly, Gai was able to block and parry each attack without giving up any ground. 'The hell?' cursed Sanji in his mind, 'How did he get stronger? His skin had turned red and both his strength and speed increased tremendously. Is it like that annoying power that shitty wolf bastard was using?'

"You really are a tough bastard Maito Gai. You're definitely the strongest ninja I've faced yet" he said honestly.

It was then he noticed that the Jonin was not paying attention to him, but instead on what had just happened behind him. Sanji turned round to see his rival and crewmate standing victorious over his grey haired opponent. "Yare yare, he managed to win before I did even though he's more injured. Shitty Marimo" commented the cook, a small grin on his face despite himself. "Looks like we better wrap things up Maito Gai."

However, when the blond haired pirate turned back to face his opponent, he saw that the spandex wearing man was not in a good mood.

"Kakashi lost?!" Gai shouted in disbelief. "Impossible! If anyone is going to defeat him, it's going to be me! Prepare to face my flames of youth Roronoa Zoro!" Gai then began to run at the green haired swordsman, but was stopped by Sanji who stood in his way.

"Where do you think you're going?" he asked "We haven't finished our fight yet."

"Aa you're right" admitted Gai gritting his teeth "Let's end this. Hachimon Tonkou: Dai Tomon...KAI! (Eight Gates: Fifth Gate: Gate of Limit Release)" From around his body, green chakra burst forth causing a great gust of wind to blow.

"Tsh more of this?" grunted Sanji preparing himself for the next barrage.

"YAAAAH!" cried Gai with passion. "Hachimon Tonkou: Dairoku Keimon…KAI! (Eight Gates: Sixth Gate: Gate of View Release)" He rushed forward at lightning speed and launched a powerful kick at Sanji. Sanji managed to bring up his leg in time to block it, but immediately gritted his teeth from the sheer force of the kick. He felt the impact shoot up his legs and into his abdomen, making his ribs once again cry out in pain.

'Kuso! The painkiller wore off' cursed Sanji. He wasn't able to do anything further however, as Gai's kick sent him flying into the air. Gai jumped following him and spread his arms like a bird. He then began to throw a barrage of punched that ignited, blasting fire in all directions. Sanji cried out in pain as he was not able to block all the punches and could feel the fire burning him. Gai then ended the attack by punching the Love Cook in the face with a powerful right, and sending him flying back down into a building.

When Gai landed back on solid ground, he was out of breath as the effects of using 6 Gates in battle were straining his body. "Asa Kujaku (Morning Peacock). And that's the end of that" he said "You were a very strong opponent Sanji of the Black Leg, but my Goken was victorious today. Now to take care of your friend."

The tired spandex wearing ninja began to walk towards Zoro prepared to defeat him and avenge his rival, but stopped when he heard the sound of a lighter's striker wheel grind against a piece of flint. He turned to look at the dark gaping hole of the building he had sent Sanji crashing through and saw a small glowing ember. From the darkness, a black object was tossed to the floor which Gai indentified as the cook's black coat smoldering in the dirt.

"That hurt like a son of a bitch" said Sanji slowing walking out of the darkness. "You like to play with fire eh?"

The pirate cook dung in his heels and began to spin like a top, his body blurring from the speed. Gai watched him in both amazement and confusion as he did not know what ace the cook had up his sleeve. When Sanji stopped spinning, the taijutsu based ninja saw that his opponent's right leg was burning like molten lava.

"If you are the beast...then I am the hunter" said Sanji calmly raising his burning leg. "And while the gods provided the food...the demons add the seasoning. Diable Jambe (Devil's Leg)"

Gai locked eyes with the flaming cook and gritted his teeth. "Alright. Let's fight fire with fire. Hachimon Tonkou: Dainana Kyōmon Kai (Eight Gates: Seventh Gate: Gate of Wonder Release)"

"All or nothing huh? Fine by me Maito Gai" said Sanji pivoting his left foot. "Come."

Faster than most could see, Gai launched himself at the pirate with all the strength he had. Knowing that he had to quickly beat Sanji to then beat Zoro, he could not pull any punches. He drew back his right fist and prepared to execute one of his most powerful attacks. "Hirutora (Daytime Tiger)" he shouted, the aura of a massive tiger enveloping him.

Sanji took one final drag from his cigarette before letting it fall from his lips. "Diable Jambe: Mouton Shot! (Devil's Leg: Mutton Shot)" he roared launching his body into the air with left foot and twisted his body. His burning right leg swung over by the momentum of his hips before kicking straight out at Gai.

Unquestionably Gai's Hirutora was the faster attack which is what the taijutsu specialist was counting on due to his desire to avenge Kakashi. However what he failed to calculate was that Sanji's legs were longer than his arms, and his legs for that matter; despite the slight height difference. The cook's flaming foot connected with Gai's chest causing an explosion of white light. The force of the kick repelled the ninja back at great speed, sending him crashing through 7 building. Sanji slowly brought his leg back down and looked at the damaged he did.

"Guess you won't be needing dessert then" he said as his leg cooled down. He began to pat his chest but remembered that he no longer had a shirt or coat. He then checked his dress pants which made him groan. "Tch. That was my last cigarette" he said dejected.

Surrounding the pirate cook were the ninjas of Konoha, starring with their mouths agape and eyes bugging out.

"MASAKA! BOTH HATAKE-TAICHOU AND MAITO-TAICHOU HAVE BEEN DEFEATED!" they cried in horror. To the ninjas, there had always been a large power gap between the top brass of their village and the "regular" enlisted men. The Hokage was always the strongest, along with their prized rival captains Hatake Kakashi and Maito Gai, all seemed to be unstoppable. But now with both of them defeated and their numbers thinning faster than morning fog, terror and panic was setting in. Who was going to save them now?

xXx

Back at the Hokage building, Hinata stared at the two pirates with eyes wide and her mouth open.

"S-Sugoi..." she breathed "I didn't know they were that strong. But if they were- all of you were, then why didn't you...I'm so sorry Nami-san!"

The navigator looked at the young teenager who was now bowing before her, slightly confused. "Why are you apologizing?" she asked.

"I was the one who convinced Luffy-san to order your surrender!" she cried, tears beginning to form. "I was afraid that you would get hurt or even killed that I pleaded with him not to fight. And now you've all been injured so badly for nothing...I...I"

Hinata then felt a pair of hands rest on her shoulders. She looked up to see Nami looking back at her with a soft warm smile. "Don't beat yourself up, Hinata" she said calmly. "You said it yourself that you wanted to help us because you knew we'd done nothing wrong. You did what you thought was right because you are a kind person. Never be sorry for that."

The Hyuuga heiress swallowed as she wiped the tears from her eyes. "Arigatou Nami-san. I promise I'll make it up to you."

"Don't worry about it. You've already have" replied the former pirate thief with a bright smile. "And since you managed to handle Luffy on your own, I have to applaud you." Hinata blushed at Nami's words and couldn't help smiling back. "Now then, it's time to get back to crew" she said picking her Clima-Tact back up. "Zoro! Sanji-kun! Clear me a path!"

"Hai Nami-san!" shouted Sanji with hearts in his, sprinting towards the group of ninjas that lay in between him and his "one true love".

"Mattaku. What a pushy woman" groaned Zoro placing Wado Ichimonji back into his mouth. He dashed at the crowd and held his two other daito katana in a wide stance. "Santoryu: Tatsumaki! (Three Sword Style: Dragon Twister)" Half of the group was send flying into the air screaming by a giant tornado before crashing back to the ground.

"Get out of my way you shitty bastards!" shouted Sanji as he jumped over a ninja and kicked him in the back of the head. He did a back flip in mid air and landed on the face of another ninja who was terrified beyond belief. "Party Table Kick Course!" he roared, unleashing a deadly hurricane of kicks into the faces of the ninjas. He send them flaying in all directions before launching himself off his "launch pad" and twisted his body so that he could kick downward. "Brochette! (Skewer)" he shouted kicking the ninja bellow him into the ground.

"A little overkill for small fry don't you think?" asked Zoro sheathing his swords as Sanji landed back to earth.

"Like you're one to talk Marimo" countered Sanji jabbing his left thumb to the aftermath. Before they could continue their bickering, Nami ran to them grabbing Sanji's attention. "Ah Nami-san! Are you alright?"

"I'm fine, but we have company. Hinata's clan is coming right for us" she warned pointing behind her, where the Hyuuga were running right for them.

"Ahhhhhh! Nooooo!" cried Usopp clutching his head. "Don't let them land a hit on you! It's so damn painful! It feels like a hot needle is being shoved all over you body."

"At least they aren't going to be annoying and fight at a distance" remarked Zoro preparing to draw his swords.

"I'll handle them. We don't have any time to waste" cut in Nami holding up her Clima-Tact. "Heal Ball! Cool Ball!" she cried causing her divided bo staff to unleash two different sets of bubbles that soared into the air and crashing into one another. A dark storm cloud began to form above the advancing Hyuuga that covered the sky enough to shroud them in darkness. "Thunder Ball!" she shouted hurling a ball of electricity in the cloud and electrifying it. "Thunder Bolt Tempo!"

From the cloud came a massive clap of thunder and many bolts of lightning that struck the ground below and the entire legion of Hyuuga. They cried out in pain before they and the remaining lower ranked ninjas of Konoha fell to the ground unconscious.

"Yosha! We beat them all!" shouted Usopp throwing his hands in the air.

"Yo ho ho ho! Victory is ours!" chimed in Brook.

"Now all we need to do it meet up with Mugiwara and we can go home. Where is he?" asked Franky.

In an alleyway that was out of the sight of the battlefield, the floor was littered with unconscious ANBU agents. In the centre of the alley was Killer B holding up the ANBU captain off the ground with his hand gripped tightly on his face.

"So this is Konoha's famed ANBU?" he said mockingly, "Pathetic." With nearly no effort, the jinchuriki tossed the captain aside who fell to ground, already unconscious from Killer B's hold on him.

"The battlefield has grown quiet Killer B" said Gyuki.

"Ya those guys must have beaten all of that old bitch's forces. Should we look into fighting that blond brat or is it even worth it?"

"..."

"Hey what's up? You've been rather quite since your talk with Kurama. Is something wrong?"

"Wrong would be the incorrect word to use in this case" explained the demon bull. "I sense that something great is going to happen today. A change in the flow of history. And I believe that we must play a part in it."

Killer B was silent for a moment thinking over his demon's words. "So what should we do?" he asked.

"We watch and we wait. We will know when our time has come."

Killer B nodded jumped up over the building and found himself a comfortable perch to watch as history began to unfold.

xXx

"Currently we don't know where Luffy is so we're going to have to hold our position here until we do" explained Nami. "Yes that's not great, but I do have some good news. Just before Hinata broke you guys out, the Hokage's secretary brought her this file" she said holding it up. "This file holds the location of the Thousand Sunny. Right now it's in a port to the eastern tip of this country and according to the report inside, it hasn't been moved. I think that we should split up and have someone go and protect our ship while the rest wait here for Luffy."

"Yosh I'll go" volunteered Franky, moving his drooping hair out of his eyes. "I'm running low on cola and could use a refill. Also I'm the damn shipwright. If I find even a single scratch on my masterpiece, I'm going to break ever bone in those ninjas."

"I'll go with him. I'm running low on ammo" said Usopp.

"Alright, he's the file. There are a few maps in there each with the harbor marked. You can read a map right?"

"Oi Nee-chan, I build ships and I'm from the biggest port city in the world. I can read maps just as good as you can."

"Alright, best of luck you two" said the navigator handing out the file. Franky took it with a nod and began to run to the gates of the village with Usopp right behind him.

"So we wait" said Zoro reaching up to untie his bandana and lay down.

"Guess so. None of you have a pack of cigarettes on you right?" asked Sanji.

"Where..." came a voice, "Where is Hinata?"

Immediately the Straw Hats sprung to action with Zoro grabbing his swords, Nami bringing up her Clima-Tact, and Robin crossing her arms. Before them was a young woman with red eyes looking at them with fear and anger.

"Where is Hinata?" asked Kurenai again. "What did you do to her?"

"We didn't do anything to her, she's fine" answered Nami honestly.

"Liar! I know that your leader has her! Where is she?"

Since Nami was the last person to see her, the crew looked at her to understand what they should do. Nami stayed silent knowing that whatever she said would not calm this woman down. She wondered if she was Hinata's mother, but from what she saw of the Hyuuga clan, figured that if she did not have the same pearl coloured eyes, then she could not be her mother.

Kurenai stared at the navigator with intense eyes fearing the worst for her shy student. She cared for her more than a teacher should, but Hinata was the sweetest and kindest girl she knew, and could not help feeling the way she did. It did not help that Kurenai was now a single mother, and felt her maternal instincts kicking in.

"If you won't tell me, then I will force the information out of you!" she said preparing to use her genjutsu on Nami. The navigator prepared herself for whatever attack was going to be sent her way, but Zoro rolled his eyes.

"Not this again" he said unimpressed. However, before either one of the women could commence their fight, a voice arose grabbing their attention.

"I really don't think you should be picking fights in your condition Kurenai" said a man's voice. All of them turned to see three men standing side by side with three small armies behind them. Robin and Chopper looked at the man in the middle and immediately sprung to action, with Robin crossing her arms and Chopper eating another Rumble Ball.

"Shikaku" breathed the pregnant kunoichi, with a look in her eye of gratefulness and worry.

"I know, just let us handle it from here" Shikaku said reassuringly. "And it seems we came at the right time as this young lady has you right where she wants you." Kurenai was confused at what her college meant until he threw a kunai at Nami which passed through her and made her twist like a billow of smoke. The ninjas immediately began to dispel the "genjutsu" Nami had cast but were unsure if they had succeeded. It was made even more unclear to them when Nami reappeared behind Kurenai.

"I must say I'm impressed" said Nami amused. "No one's seen through my Mirage Tempo before."

"Well I wouldn't say 'seen through' but rather a 'lucky guess' to be honest" admitted the Nara clan leader. "That wasn't genjutsu and I have no idea how your technique works. Would you care to explain?"

"I don't see why not" said Nami turning back to her crewmates. "It's a mirage."

"A mirage? At that range?"

"It's true."

"I have no idea how that is possible but I am certain it has something to do with your bo staff" concluded Shikaku. "I'll ask the Hokage if I can take a look at it after we take you into custody."

"Getting ahead of yourself aren't you?" cut in Sanji taking a step forward.

"I know that this all just some big misunderstanding and you didn't hurt our children with evil intent" admitted the Nara, "But due to your actions we have no chose but to take you in."

"You can try" said Zoro pushing Shusui out with his thumb.

Shikaku formed a hand seal and looked at the pirates with serious eyes. "I won't have to. Kage Mane no Jutsu (Shadow Imitation Jutsu)" he said. Bellow him, his shadow began to morph and at great speed, spread before him and under the feet of the Straw Hat pirates. They immediately froze, though not for the reason the ninjas believed.

"H-He can use shadows as a weapon?" stuttered Brook, memories of Thriller Bark flashing before his eye sockets.

"H-H-He has the same powers as Moria?!" cried Chopper in fear.

"Masaka! The only way for another user of the same devil fruit to exist is for the original to die and someone else eats the fruit when it grows again" explained Sanji. "I remember that from the Devil Fruit book I read as a child."

"Hm? Moria?" echoed Shikaku curiously. "Wari, but I don't know anyone with that name. While our shadow jutsu is not a kekkei genkai, the techniques are heavily guarded secrets so that only those of the Nara clan know how to use them. Whoever this Moria is, unless he is a Nara, which I doubt, he must be using some other kind of 'magic' for lack of a better word."

"Everyone, I cannot move. Can you?" asked the musician.

"No, I'm stuck" said Nami worried.

"Like this is enough to stop me!" grunted Sanji, using all his strength to move his legs. Zoro, who was just as stubborn as his rival, also began to force his body to move. To the displeasure of the Nara leader, he could feel the strength of the pirates and feared that they would break free.

"Choza, quickly take them out" whispered Shikaku receiving a nod from his friend and teammate.

"Bubun Baika no Jutsu! (Partial Multi-Size Technique)" shouted the larger ninja and began to walk towards the pirates. When he was directly in front of them, he raised his enlarged hands and arms to grab them. Chopper gritted his teeth and tried to fight back.

"Arm Point: Wanryuku Kyokai! (Strengthen Arm Power)" he growled under the strain. His body grew with might making his tiny arms enlarge with power and muscle. Unlike his legs that were still affected by Shikaku's shadow jutsu, there was enough strength in his arms move despite being tethered. "Kokutei Cross! (Carving Hoof Cross)" he cried thrusting his hooves as if throwing a Hadoken into the stomach of the giant man. Choza lurched forward before being sent flying backwards into his own clan members; a pinkish red X imprinted in his gut.

"Choza! Kuzo!" cursed Shikaku, increasing the power of his shadow binding. But despite the increase, he could feel half of the Straw Hats starting to move. "Ichoichi!"

The blond haired man nodded and quickly brought up his hands to form his famous clan jutsu. "Shinranshin no Jutsu (Mind Body Disturbance Technique)" he said. And as to be expected, it did absolutely nothing.

"What are you doing man?" asked Shikaku struggling to keep his hold on the pirates with sweet rolling down his neck.

"I don't know! It's not working!" exclaimed the genjutsu based ninja.

"Nani?"

"Genjutsu…" came a voice from their ear pieces.

"Kakashi? Is that you?" said Shikaku.

"Aa…It's me" replied the Copy Cat ninja.

"You were defeated?" asked Inoichi, though not believing in the question.

"Hai…both me and Gai...these people are strong…very strong. Listen to me…genjutsu has no effect on them…they don't have chakra."

"How is that possible?"

"I don't know and it doesn't matter right now...just beat them before they get close to you."

Back with the Straw Hats, Robin watched the ninjas trying to figure out what was going on and couldn't help smiling a small smile. They were exactly where she wanted them to be.

"Sumimasen" she said getting their attention, "but you are the fathers of a three man team correct? The one I defeated?"

Her words didn't make them any happier, but Shikaku was again being the realist. "Hai. And thank you for not killing them."

"I take no pleasure in taking the lives of children" she said, "but it would seem you have made the same mistake your son did. From what I understand, by placing your hands in a certain combination, you can use spells of some kind. While not the same property per say, I too have a stance that allows me to use my powers. And this is mine."

Both Shikaki and Inochi frowned in confusion, until the Nara realise what she was talking about. 'Her crossed arms...that's her hand seal or whatever ability she has? She and that reindeer reacted to us unlike the others. No, not us...me. She knew about my Kage Mane no Jutsu so she took that stance. She's a sly one. No wonder you lost Shikamaru.'

"Ochenta Fleur! (Eighty Flowers)" chanted Robin, causing 80 arms to sprout out from the bodies of the ninjas and put them in a hold; also setting the Straw Hats free. "Clutch!"

And with that, the entire army of the village of Konoha was defeated.

"Is it over?" asked Chopper.

"I think so" said Nami resting her Clima-Tact on her shoulder.

Chopper sighed with a smile and fell backwards onto his back. "Yokatta."

"And now I can finally have my tea. I hope it is still hot" said Brook opening his skull and pulling out his thermos.

"Finally I can get some sleep" said Zoro preparing to lie down.

"Now...where is our shitty captain?" asked Sanji looking around; a very good question indeed.

And then, a cry rang out across the village.

"KAIZOKU!" shouted Tsunade from atop her tower. The Straw Hats all looked up her, and saw the rage burning in her eyes. "You will not make it out of this village alive!"

The crew stiffening from the threat, especially Zoro. "Damn it, not this annoying woman" he groaned preparing his swords. "Be careful, this woman is no joke. If her punches land, it's not going to be pretty." The Straw Hats all prepared themselves for the final battle, when another cry sounded across the village.

"OI! Don't threaten my nakama!"

Both the crew and Tsunade looked to see at last, Monkey D. Luffy standing atop a building of his own. While both parties were surprised to see him, they were surprised for different reasons. The Straw Hats were obviously happy to see their captain after such a long absence. But Tsuande on the other hand was feeling the exact opposite. If this man's crew was strong enough to take out a thousand of her ninjas, then he would be stronger still. However, if she was able to beat him, then she would defeat his entire crew and avenge her village.

Before she could issue a challenge, the young pirate captain began jumping from roof top to roof top gunning right for her. This was fine by her as she would not underestimate him as her fallen men had done with his crew. She activated her Gouwan knowing it was her best chance of winning. These pirates were very talented in hand to hand combat which the vast majority of ninja were not experienced in; simply because they ignored it. She on the other hand was famous for her abilities. While it was strange that a medical prodigy was able to turn her medicinal skills into a method of giving herself immense physical strength, it was her best chance.

Luffy leaped off the last building between himself and Tsunade with clenched fists eager for combat. As soon as he landed in front of her, the blond haired woman reeled her right fist back and with all her might punch Luffy right in the temple. "Eat this!" she cried putting all her weight into the blow. Luffy's head tucked into his chest slightly as the force of the punch reverberated down his body. He dug in his heels to stop himself from being forced back causing the wood floor bellow his feet to break and rise behind his heels. The entire front of the Hokage building cracked from the punch which caused a large plum of dust to jump up and surround both Tsunade and Luffy.

"Luffy!" shouted both Zoro and Nami. There was a tense moment of silence as none of the crew knew if the attack had harmed their captain. The dust slowly began to clear revealing Tsunade still standing mid punch, but Luffy could not be seen. Only when the dust cleared a little more, could the Mugiwara Kaizoku-san see their childish captain was still standing.

"Mataku…" sighed Zoro removing his bandana, "That idiot always has to make us worry."

"Yes he does" said Nami with a smile, also sighing in relief.

"Yo ho ho ho!" laughed Brook enjoying the aroma of his tea.

"Ganbate Luffy!" cheered Chopper.

"Yes, Ganbate" added Robin.

"Normally I'd never forgive violence directed at a woman" said Sanji, "But in this case I'll allow it. Just won't feed him for a day."

Luffy lifted his head slightly so that his sharp eyes could look right into his attacker's. Tsunade reeled back in horror that her punch did nothing to him, unable to comprehend how the young man was totally unaffected. "Gomu Gomu no..." said Luffy throwing his right arm back and making it stretch a few dozen yards. "BULLET!" The pirate's rubber fist snapped back and crashed into the Sennin's gut making her nearly fold in half and send her flying backward, crashing back first into the large cliff that overlooked the village. She stayed stuck for a moment before falling and crashing face down.

"H-How?" choked Tsunade, unable to comprehend what had just happened. Luffy looked back at her with eyes that reminded her of a hawk.

"I'm a Rubber Man" he said simply. "Regular punches and kicks won't hurt me."

Tsunade was none the wiser with the explanation but was unable to ask more questions as she slipped into unconsciousness. Luffy snorted unimpressed by how weak she was and rather annoyed that he wouldn't be able to get any fighting done. He really wanted to fight.

And he was about to get his wish.

"Oi! What did you do to ba-chan!?" shirked a familiar voice. Luffy turned around to see Naruto standing on the roof of the building next to the Hokage Tower. Their eyes locked with Naruto's filled with angry and Luffy's filled with a sudden hunger for ramen.

xXx

Franky and Usopp had just made it out of the village and began running down the road.

"How far is it to the harbor?" asked the sniper.

"Hold on let me check" answered the shipwright pulling out one of the maps. "About 150 miles."

"How are we supposed to make it there on foot!?" Usopp cried out in disbelief.

Suddenly, something dropped right before him which was a tall black man wearing a pair of sunglasses. Usopp screamed in fear as the man looked very intimidating. Franky however smiled.

"Yo Killer B bro" he said

"Yo. Where are you guys goin'?"

"The coast to get our ship."

'Check the map' instructed Gyuuki. Killer B reached out and took the map from the cyborg and began to look it over. 'That is too great a distance for them to cross by foot in time. This is our calling Killer B.'

"It's gonna take too long by foot Franky-aniki. I know a faster route."

"Really? How?" asked Usopp now back on his feet.

The jinchuriki grinned and pulled down his sunglasses; once again revealing his green demonic eyes.

xXx

Back at the ANBU head quarters, a figure walked out from the now destroyed entrance of the secret compound. A sickening grin grew on his face as he stepped into the light revealing his red, hate filled eyes.

"Finally..." he hissed, "Now I can make my revenge complete."
