Chapter 17
James was sure that his relationship with Elsa could work although his father's warning did shake him.
Back at the dungeon Anna couldn't bear to leave Kristoff alone, she wanted to know everything that happened since they separated. It took all of Elsa and Kristoff's negotiating skills to get the reluctant princess to finally admit she was tired. The next day was a very busy one Elsa, James and Anna woke up extra early to search the area where Kristoff and the other men were found in order to look for evidence. Once they reached the place Anna was the most eager to get off the sled all the bouncing and moving wasn't helping her already nauseous state.
After searching for a while the group came across Kristoff's knife.
"This should be enough evidence right?" asked Anna
"I don't think so, He was found holding a knife and it doesn't really matter whose knife it was." Said James
Anna was discouraged she sat under a tree to catch her breath and rest her feet. The day wore on and with sunlight quickly leaving they were left with a few precious hours for searching.
"Don't give up just yet sis." Said Elsa while patting her shoulder.
The group continued to search and just when they were going to give up Anna turned her attention towards the broken sled. She made her way through the bushes trying to not lose her balance.
"Careful Anna" called Elsa
"Wait a minute this sled was made by the same person who made Kristoff's sled!" She said with wide eyes.
"His shop is right in town; he can probably tell us who he sold this sled to." Said James with a smile
"Oh I'm so exiting!" squeaked Elsa who ended up causing a flurry shower of happiness.
The trio hurried to town hopping that the sled store was still open. Once they arrived and old man greeted them at the door.
"The Queen and Princess of Arendelle to what do I owe the honor?" said the old man
"We need your help identifying a sled that you built." Said Elsa
"Of course your grace anything for the queen."
The group headed back to wreckage where the old man was immediately able to identify the sled.
"Yes this model was quite expensive it was commissioned by a man who called himself "The rat"."
"The rat? Who would call himself such a name?" said James
"Someone who doesn't want to be found" Said Anna
"By any chance was this man accompanied by two other men?" said Elsa
"Actually yes the two men just stood there and said nothing." Said the old man
"Would you mind accompanying me to the castle so you can look at some suspects?" Said Anna
"Not at all my lady." He said
They headed back towards the castle, At this point Anna was feeling very nauseous but she was determined on helping Kristoff
Once in the dungeon the man only had to see the suspects once to know who they were.
"These two where with the rat, the blond one I have never seen before." He said
