Trying to finish the meeting was even more difficult than I expected. No one could focus after seeing my sister. Even Ludwig felt scattered and hours of work seemed so pointless. Nothing at all got accomplished.

"Let's get some drinks and dinner then try again tomorrow," Arthur suggested, packing up his stuff.

"Good idea, mon ami," Francis easily agreed, getting his own bag. Something must be wrong when they agree so easily.

"We'll meet you at the bar," Yao yawned and stretched before grabbing my hand.

The others nodded and left without another word. Yao led me up to the hotel room we were staying in and sat on the bed.

"Go have a shower," he yawned, laying back and turning on the television. "You should clean up from being wet earlier."

"Good idea," I sighed, heading off to do as he suggested.

About 20 minutes later, we met the other nations at the bar and found the already ordered appetizers to share had just arrived. They even remembered to order a cold vodka for me. After tonight, I need it!

The after-meeting party seemed to be going fairly well. No arguments or fights; no one really got drunk enough. Stories flowed easily with laughter as the food started disappearing. I realized this was the first time I actually laughed in days. Granted it wasn't much of joyous laughter but at this point I'll take it.

"Oh, Ivan. I think your phone is ringing," Yao sighed almost sadly as he took his hand off my thigh. He must have felt it vibrate from my jeans pocket.

"Oh dear," I muttered to myself, seeing it was Yekaterina calling. A sinking feeling hit my stomach and the food I just ate started to rise. "Hello, big sister. How's she?"

"Oh Ivan! It's terrible! She just woke up screaming in pain."

My sister's voice is frantic so I know she's crying and panicking; not knowing what do to.

"Maybe she'll calm down if she talks to me."

I heard Yekaterina giving the phone to Natalya; her cries in the background.

"B-braht," Natalya sobbed into the phone, making my heart break again. "It hurts!"

"I know, baby," I tried to comfort her but my voice broke with my own tears. "The doctor will make it go away. Were you a good girl for him?"

"Y-yes."

"I'll stay with you. Get cozy with Sestra." She told me she did so. "We'll sing to you."

I began to sing an old lullaby that Yekaterina would sing to us when we were scared as children. She quickly caught on and I could hear her singing also. It took a while but the meds kicked in and Natalya slowly passed out.

"I'll be back as soon as I can," I quickly managed to tell my sisters before hanging up; hiding my face in my hands.

Yao held me close, stroking my hair. "Honey, go home. I'll take notes for you here. Then come help you with her."

I lifted my head with tears running down my cheeks. "Thank you. You're too good to me."

" Because I love you. Now let's go back," he sighed, helping me out of my seat.

He held my hand the whole walk back to the hotel but I barely managed to hold it together. Thankfully with my flight booked for tomorrow I can try and sleep tonight.
