A/N Well, this is Chapter 2. When I say Mr. Dillon, I mean Max Dillon, who is Electro from Amazing Spider Man 2. I would like to warn you that there is swearing, which can be explained because this is a HIGH SCHOOL Marvel fic.
[Disclaimer:] I don't own DC Superheroes or Marvel.

Ouch, Serena groaned, rubbing her shoulder. Yesterday's chase must've been a bit more than I expected if I'm feeling sore. Pft - whatever.
"Hey Siri, what's wrong?" Toronto asked, bounding up to her. "And since you weren't here yesterday, what's up?"
"The sky, stars, atmosphere, ceiling, roof, sun, and aliens..." Serena answered sarcastically, throwing in an eye-roll for good measure, "so why do you ask, Tori?"
"Hey! You know I hate that name!" Toronto exclaimed indignantly.
"Yeah I know, but it's funny," Serena grinned.
"Oh, Serena. You're here. You missed a lot of work yesterday," Mr. Dillon said. "I have it here on my desk."
Serena went up to his desk and picked up her work. As she started to walk away, Mr. Dillon called after her.
"Serena how come you weren't in school yesterday, and how come you're all bruised?"
"Oh, nothing," Serena said dismissively as she went back to her desk and sat down.
Just as Serena was about to fall asleep, the bell for lunch rang. She quickly picked up her books, threw them into her back pack, and sped off.
Toronto ran after her.
"Hey! What the hell did you do that for? You just left me in there! I mean (hello)! We're supposed to walk to lunch together, remember? We're best friends!"
"Oh yeah. Sorry; I haven't been feeling well the past few days," Serena answered.
"Serena, I know you too well. That's a lie, so what were you really doing?"
"I'm sorry, but I can't tell you, so let's just have lunch..."
Toronto sighed, but dropped the topic.
About half way through lunch, a buzzer went off in her pocket.
"Sorry Toronto! I've got to go!" Serena yelped, quickly packing up and bolting outside.
A few minutes later, she arrived on the roof of the school where her mother was waiting.
"Hi mom," Serena said, panting lightly.
"Serena, honey," her mom scolded, "I told you not to go to school today!"
"I know mom," Serena whined, "but Toronto really wanted to know what's up!"
"You need to train for your future as a super villain," her mom said, ignoring Serena's explanation.
"I know mom," Serena scowled, "but that's all I do. Train, train, train."
"Serena, I know you're mad, but you have to understand that your power needs you to..."
Black Cat froze, stopping in the middle of her sentence as the door started to open. Widening her eyes, she hid as Serena turned into a Caracal, jumped onto the top of the door, then turned into a kitten.
"Hey Serena! You up here?" a familiar voice called.
Oh God, Serena groaned; Tori is looking for me? Well, that isn't much of a problem, but I'm probably going to be suspended from school for running out and playing hooky. This SUCKS!
