Chapter 4
As the rain started coming down hard on Serena, she heaved a loud sigh. Firstly, Serena HATED the rain, and secondly, she was absolutely pissed that she had to spy on her best friend. No, scratch that. She had to spy on her best friend, Skunk Boy, the hero.
Serena had just began to trudge home when Toronto ran up to her.
"Hey Siri, I brought you an umbrella 'cuz I know how much you hate this kind of weather."
"Thanks Tor," Serena said, hurrying to get under the umbrella.
"I'll walk you home," Toronto said, running a hand through his hair.
"Alright," Serena agreed. "Hey. I just want you to know that I may not be in school for a while, because mom and I are going on vacation to the Grand Canyon."
Toronto whistled. "Nice, Serena. Do you want me to pick up your mail?"
Serena hesitated for a second. "Sure, thanks."
The two walked in silence for the next few minutes, and quickly arrived at Serena's house.
"See you later," Toronto yelled, waving to her as she ran down the walkway and to the front steps. Toronto watched her until she had entered the house, then turned away, whispering a soft "I'll miss you" before walking off.

"Hi mom," Serena drawled, tossing her backpack on the ground.
"Oh, hi honey. How was school?"
"I told Tori we'd be at the grand canyon for a while," Serena informed her.
"Good girl!" Cat Woman praised, "now go get ready. I'm going to sneak you in soon."
"Ugh, fine," Serena snorted as she tossed her hair over her shoulder.
Serena then went up to her room and changed into her Cat Girl outfit. Just as she was pulling her mask on, she got a call from Tori. Serena contemplated whether to pick it up or not for a few seconds, then she decided it was best not to answer.
Turning away from her phone, she let her tail pop out from her spine, flicking it before turning to her mirror to watch her ears turn into those of a cat's. Then, her nails lengthened into claws, completing her 'Cat Girl' look.
Serena quickly ran down stairs to her mom, who had made her a snack for the car ride.
Climbing into the passenger's seat, Serena turned into an innocent-looking brown kitten with amber eyes. Then, her mom messed up her fur and dropped her off in front of Tori's house with a soft "good luck."
Serena padded over to the front step, then scratched on the door. It took a few seconds, but Tori finally peeped through the window. Upon seeing Serena, he hurriedly opened the door.
"Oh my gosh!" he exclaimed, "Let me get you inside! I'll clean you right up."
Siri smiled as Tori picked her up and brought her inside.
