Natalya stepped down as Berserker let her off of her shoulders. In all of her years as a woman, she had grown infamous as one of the most wanted criminals in Russia as a black widow. Only that was the only crime the human world knew of her to commit. In the magical one it was worse, the young men she slept with were always used as sacrifices in her more heinous experiments. And for her to end up with one of the sleaziest and most insane mages in all of Russia's known history felt like the biggest musical note of her life.

She smirked as she looked down at the back of her hand; No one will suspect this she thought with a giggle. That was when she be began to call towards the house. "I've come for the Master and Saber of Red!"

Kai clenched his fists as they gazed at the woman from the window. Donald loaded his rifle and nodded towards Archer.

"It doesn't seem as if they know or care that we are here Archer, lets exit out the back of the house and take entrenched positions around the front." Archer nodded loading her Winchester, "I'd prefer being on the move on my horse and shooting at them but if we can catch them by surprise then that is good too." She said as she exited towards the back of the house with her Master.

Saber stared out the window with a fierce burning anger in her eyes. "How dare they attack us like this…with my Master in such a condition…!"

Kai was momentarily unnerved by this as he stared at her. I never thought I would be able to meet that person but here she is…with that legendary anger that burns as fierce as the sun itself…a ferocity that allowed her to murder her own brother… He thought as he placed a hand on her shoulder.

"Let me go with you and assist Saber." He said calmly as she turned and looked at him with surprise. Saber could tell that Kai understood how she felt as she did not speak a word of protest. The two of them exited the front of the house with a fierce determination of protecting Saiya in their eyes. Natalya raised an eyebrow upon seeing Kai.

"Oh? I was lead to believe that Saber's Master was a lovely young high school girl. Not such a tall and handsome man like you." she purred as she stared at him with interest. Kai gritted his teeth in disgust; when she was alive Saiya's older sister Seina warned him about women like this when he had first told her of his plan of living on his own. And with the power he was sensing off of her. He had no idea the first woman he'd meet like that would be a mage.

He looked over at Saber. "I'm skilled with healing and illusion magic so I'll do what I can to help you, alright Saber?" She nodded as she slid her sword free from its sheath and took her stance. "Berserker's large body won't save him from the bite of my blade…!"

Natalya furrowed her eyebrows in irritation as she glared at him. "How rude of you to ignore a beautiful woman like me! I'll make you pay for that! Berserker! Kill them both!" She ordered as the bearded gargantuan man began to charge at them.

Meanwhile, as the battle had begun outside I struggled to rise from my bath as I could sense Saber and Kai were in danger. The heat from my fever and the heat rushing through my body were still impairing my strength despite the cold ice Archer had prepared for me.

"I can't stay here…! They need me out there…!" I mumbled as I tried stepping out of the bath only to fall over on the floor. The shock from the impact made me yelp in pain as I slowly stood up. That was when I heard footsteps in the house. I froze in place as I heard the intruder searching for me. This power…its not fierce and overwhelming like Berserker…and its not cold and overpoweringly seductive like the woman with him…no…its more quiet…and calculated…no…could it be Assassin?! I thought as terror began to grip hold of my body.

I searched around the room for a towel, or anything I could use as a weapon as my sword and naginata were in my room and out of my reach. I could hear the footsteps getting closer as I frantically grabbed a towel and covered myself as a short male figure appeared at the door. He knew where I was. He knew that I knew he was there. This would turn into either a battle of wills, or hand-to-hand combat to which in my current situation I was at an embarrassing disadvantage. The door slowly slid open as a young boy who looked my age stepped in.

My eyes went wide as I immediately noticed the boy's curly snow white hair and red eyes. "You…you're a homunculus?!" The boy seemed momentarily surprised as he then flashed a kind smile at me. A false smile filled with venom.

"And you must be Saiya Misako, the young Master of the Saber of Red." He said as his eyes drifted down to my chest. "And an interesting mage who's Command Seals are at an odd location…" My face became hot as I covered myself with the towel. "H-How do you know about me?! How do you know my name?!"

He took out a knife from the sheath on his belt and looked at it as if examining the blade. He seemed to take note of my current weakness as he asked. "The true question is…do you know who I am and why you are truly fighting this Holy Grail War?"

This caught me off guard, He was right, I never did understand why the Masters of the Black and Red factions were united against one another. I had only assumed that it was all a ploy by the Grail itself to fill its already tainted goblet with more blood of the fallen. The boy before me seemed to acknowledge my silence as a response.

"I suppose you have earned this much of an explanation, since you and Saber have done well so far…" He said as he began to tell me the whole truth, the truth of why I was here in this bloody war.

Hey guys! I apologize for the long wait, and as well the shortness in content. I've been stuck finishing up with school, finishing my job for the semester there and preparing for my summer job so its been one thing after another.
