Hey guys! My writing tool is gonna be gone again for a while and I'm going back on hiatus after this chapter. Also, I did some research and yeah, I know twins are really rare with a horse and even rarer when both foal and mothers survive (Sometimes, one of them is smaller than the other). But, MLP and Sonic are both cartoon shows and doesn't really apply to them. Otherwise consider Dash one of the lucky ones.

Also, keep in mind that just because I put descriptions to the dream kids in the prequel does NOT mean that will be the official descriptions! You're just going to have to wait. ;P

In other news, I'm still looking for writers for 'She Keeps me Warm'! Please don't be shy! Don't be insecure, just try out. I really really REALLY want to get that story off the ground. I'm going to wait til school ends in May before giving up and writing it by myself. If you like the concept and don't want slow updates for that story, message me your writing for the prompt.

Chapter 3

After what seemed was a second, two months passed by. By now Rainbow was a little round around the middle and had a little difficulty walking, and the doctor had warned her of this. They also spoke to her about going over the dimensional border. Tidings agreed with Dash and told them to not try anything til the babies were born.

The fact that she was pregnant registered when the morning sickness kicked in and she was leaning over the toilet bowl ever five seconds. If she wasn't on the couch watching TV, she was in the bed asleep, and if she wasn't doing any of those she was puking her guts out. She felt like a slob and it hurt her ego a little to know she was slacking a bit and that she couldn't work either.

Sonic made her feel better when she was down. That what he did, made her happy. He didn't ask questions, he just cuddled her and cooed to the lives she held in her belly. She knew he was going to be a great father, the way he treated her. Since he didn't go on missions (For her sake; He didn't want her to be alone.) he had all the time in the world for her. It made her feel special.

After the first two months came three, then four, then six. Her belly got rounder with each month until it was nearly her due date. By now she wobbled around the house or laid on the couch or went to make sure everything was ready in the nursery. There was an extra room across from so that each of them could have their own room when the time came.

The room was decorated by Rarity, and she did fabulously on it. The walls were a light grey with a darker gray stripe running across the top of them. The separate cribs were colored white with blue sheeting for both (There was two sets of pink tucked under them if it happened to be two girls/one girl) and a rainbow colored rug adorned the floor. There was a dresser holding the clothes needed for the foals on the right and a closet to the left.

Rainbow thought it was perfect. They decided to wait to see what the genders of the foals were and this was her definition of gender neutral.

By now the foals were due in a week, and she had her first false alarm. It was hectic and unprepared and she and Sonic both decided they needed to plan it out more. So, they had their bags packed and put in the far corner, next to the door leading out of their room. Sonic always slept with the car keys around his hoof (Humans were teaming up with ponies to actually start making human made, pony safe things for them to use, like cars.) so that if it was in the middle of the night, they could just grab their bags and go.

The day, however, came during the day. Rainbow was just sitting on the couch when she felt a wetness on her hind legs.

"Ah, ew..." She sat up only for the pain to start, and she hissed.

"SONIC! The foals are here!"
