Hey all! Glad to know you guys were happy to see me back! I've been working on keeping this story going and updating more frequently. Just because Jake is unfortunately no longer on Degrassi doesn't mean this story can't continue, right?

Jake couldn't really tell you much of anything that was taught to him at school that day. It was all a blur. His mind was too focused on Drew and hanging on the possibility that his boyfriend would have to stay another night at the hospital. He knew his fear was becoming irrational when he started worrying that Drew would be stuck there forever.

"Jaaake.."

I mean, he was looking so much better last night. And it's not like he was even that beat up in the first place. He's gotta be released today. It'd be so ridiculous to keep him even for another night.

"Jake!"

Shit, one time my cousin ended up in the hospital for jumping off the roof of his house on a dare. He wasn't in there for very long and he was way worse off than Drew is!

"Yo, Jake!" Mo yelled, startling Jake out of his daydream.

"Huh? What?"

"What's up with you? You've been a space case all day!" Mo reprimanded from across the table, shooting Jake a weird look.

"Uh, nothing. Just didn't get much sleep last night." Jake explained.

That wasn't a lie, either. Much of the night was spent tossing and turning anxiously and wishing that he could just go back and break Drew out of the hospital.

"Yeah?" Mo's imagination instantly ran wild and he smiled deviously. "Wait, wait. Don't tell me.." Jake looked confused. "You hooked up with someone, didn't you? You sly dog!" He chuckled. "Or.. you have a new lady!"

"No, nothing like that. Really." Jake laughed. "I'm still... uh.. girlfriendless."

Mo's grin faded. "Aw, sorry man. Don't worry, you'll find someone soon."

Jake admired his friend's attempt to make him feel better. "Thanks. But, you know, I'm actually not disliking not having a girlfriend right now."

"Hell yeah, man! Rockin' the single life! I gotta say, Marisol is awesome and I would hate it if we weren't together, but there's some definite perks to being a free man, am I right?"

Jake chuckled. "Definitely! But uhh, you might not want Marisol to hear you say that!"

"Right, right." Mo agreed. "So.. how 'bout it? Tonight, boy's night? Eli's down!"

"I'm sorry, dude. I can't.. We're doing some family stuff tonight. And since I ditched last time, I promised my dad I'd show up to the next one." Jake hated disappointing his friends, but Drew needed him more right now.

"Yeah, I feel you." Mo said, disappointed but unable to blame Jake.

"We'll do something next weekend." Jake gave his friend a friendly smack on the shoulder. "Promise."

"Hey, don't be getting all soft on me, Martin!" Mo joked. "It's all good!"

Jake smiled, but internally felt guilty for lying to his best friend. He wanted so badly to tell someone - anyone - that he was in love with another guy. Just to confide that Drew Torres was his boyfriend. He trusted Mo to not overreact or end their friendship, but he was still afraid of what kind of reaction he'd get from him, or from anyone at all.

He just felt that now wasn't the right time to tell him.

Drew woke up that day feeling alive. Refreshed. More than he had in a long time. It felt like he just came out of a much-needed thousand year sleep. It wasn't a feeling that came too often for him, so he was grateful.

He looked out the window: overcast and snowing. The snow was nice to look at, but nothing compared to those city lights he saw last night. Something about them was so inspiring. Drew couldn't put those thoughts and feelings into words, but he did know it gave him a new perspective.

Drew glanced down and noticed he was pitching a rather large and very noticeable tent. He groaned, frustrated at the reminder that it's been a while since he's got to spend much time with Jake.

"Torres?"

Drew hurriedly covered his boner with his blanket and hoped like hell that he wouldn't need to go in for an examination or anything else that would require him to get up.

"Y-yes?"

An older nurse walked into view, carrying a clipboard that seemed to be standard for every person working in the hospital.

"Well, everything seems to be fine according to your tests. So, good news, kiddo, it looks like you'll be getting out of here soon!"

"S-soon. Uh, how soon?" Drew sat up excitedly, but being mindful of his stiffening problem in his pants.

"Oh, I'd say it'll only be about another hour, maybe two. So you can go ahead and make sure someone's here to pick you up when you're released."

Drew grinned. "Thanks. Thank you so much!" The nurse returned the smile. "You just take care of yourself, dear. The doctor will write you a perscription for something to take for the pain and you can pick it up at the pharmacy when you leave."

Drew felt a weight being lifted off of him. I'm getting out of here. Finally. He looked out the window, a little melancholy that he wouldn't get to enjoy the view again, but compared to being with Jake, it wasn't a big deal.

Drew stood outside the hospital impatiently waiting for Jake to pick him up. The nurse told him he could just wait inside the building, but hospitals just made him tense. And as caring and polite as the nursing staff was, he just couldn't wait to get out of there.

It was really only about ten minutes, but the wait for that familiar red pick-up to pull in felt like an eternity. Drew never was one for being patient.

"So, I was thinking.." Jake started as he steered the truck down the snowy roads. "My parents are out of town and won't be around to wonder where I am. How about we take advantage of that and head up to the cabin?"

Drew grinned. "Can't say I have a problem with that!"

They were about halfway to the cabin when the pain from Drew's injuries started coming back.

"Well, we're here!" Jake announced as the couple walked through the front door. "Guess we-"

Drew latched onto Jake for dear life, nearly knocking the other man to his feet.

"I've been waiting to do that since I woke up." Drew admitted as he hugged Jake tighter, nuzzling his face against Jake's neck and shirt.

"Me too." Jake said. "But it looks like you beat me to it!" Jake couldn't resist showering his boyfriend with relentless kisses.

"I missed you so fucking much." He said between heated kisses.

"I missed you too." Drew said. "Mm. You have no idea."

The two stumbled backwards while kissing feverishly until they found themselves on their favorite couch. Drew hissed in pain as his body made contact with it.

"Are you alright?" Jake hoped he hadn't hurt him.

"Yeah, pain's just acting up. I was hoping I'd be over it by now."

"I'm afraid that's a ways away yet. Why don't you take some of those painkillers you just got? That should make you feel better in no time."

Drew sighed, unwilling to get up. "Yeah, I'll be right back."

He headed to the kitchen and filled a glass with water from the faucet. He pulled his new bottle full of pills from his pants pocket and poured two painkillers into his hand. He quickly swallowed them in hopes that they would take effect before long.

"Something on your mind?" Jake asked when Drew returned, taking notice of his pensive expression.

"What?" Drew asked, snapping out of his daze. "Oh, nothing."

"Just looked like you were thinking hard about something."

Drew hesitated for a moment. "Just.. everything that's happened." He reclined on the couch as Jake sat beside him. "Guess I still can't believe what went down. I've been in some shitty situations before.. but I can't remember ever being so worried about my own safety."

"Why?" Jake asked.

"Huh?"

"How come you were never more concerned about your safety?"

Drew hesitated for a moment, thinking about how exactly he wanted to respond. "I guess it's because I never had so much to live for. And a big part of me felt like I wasn't really that important to anyone."

"Well I'm glad that's changed because you are important." Jake grabbed Drew's hand and looked into his eyes. "You have no idea how important you are to me... and Fiona and Imogen, Bianca, Adam.. the list goes on. Honestly, Drew, it kills me when you don't give yourself enough credit."

Drew raised his eyebrows, feeling a little bit surprised. "You really think that highly of me?"

"Are you kidding? You've changed my life so much since we started dating. I've never felt so content and complete before."

"You're not just saying that, are you?"

"Of course not!" Jake rested his arm around Drew's shoulders and sat closer to him. "I wouldn't lie about that. I love being with you."

"I love being with you too." Drew rested his head against his shoulder. The couple reclined on the couch and Drew stretched his legs out on the table.

"Here, let's get more comfortable." Jake said as he repositioned himself and Drew so they were laying on the couch with Drew on top of him.

Drew wrapped his arms around Jake and cuddled close to him. "Mmm. You're so comfortable."

Jake chuckled. "Well, I try my best."

Drew closed his eyes and sighed against Jake's chest.

"Looks like someone's finally relaxing." Jake grinned. His hands traveled up Drew's back up to tenderly massage his neck and shoulders.

Drew pushed himself up and began kissing Jake, who stopped massaging Drew in favor of pulling him closer to deepen the kiss.

"Continuing from where we left off?" Jake asked.

"Kinda.." Drew answered and raised an eyebrow suggestively. "Maybe something a bit more."

"Oh? Well, in that case.." Jake attempted to reposition himself but Drew halted him.

"Wait.. I wanna try something different this time. If you don't mind."

"You mean.. reversal?" Jake grinned. "You know I can't say no, right?"

"That's why I asked." Drew gave him a devilish smirk. He sat up over Jake and slowly began pulling down his jeans. He couldn't help himself but caress the smooth skin of Jake's slender abdomen. His body tensed under Drew's touch. Jake's growing tent in Jake's pants was a glorious sight. It excited Drew like nothing else.

He couldn't wait anymore; he pulled Jake's jeans and boxers down to reveal his very stiff boner. Drew sighed at the sight. "Feels like it's been forever."

"It's been long enough." Jake added.

Drew raised Jake's legs over his shoulders and prepared himself to slide into Jake.

They've had sex many times before, but with a simple act of trading places, everything felt new again.

Jake trembled at the sensation of Drew entering him; it was such a foreign and exhilarating feeling. Jake didn't want to discourage Drew, so he didn't admit to him that he was a little bit scared of what it would be like, but he was enjoying it so far.

All the heat in Jake's body seemed to drain from his extremities and gather in his center. He was all too thrilled at how big Drew felt inside of him. He wondered if Drew had this feeling whenever Jake was the one on top.

"How you feeling?" Drew asked, more out of concern that he wasn't hurting his boyfriend in any way.

"..Awesome." Jake said in a breathy whisper that turned Drew could easily get off on. The way Jake's body seemed to slowly undulate rhythmically was enough to make Drew want to lose it right now, but he used all his willpower to hold it in. He wanted this to last as long as possible.

He continued to slowly slide himself into Jake until his body unexpectedly jerked.

Jake groaned loudly and he bit his lip. A sly grin appeared on Drew's face. "Looks like I found your hot spot."

"You can say that again!" Jake huffed. "Oh, fucking hell, that felt good."

Drew began to slide in and out of Jake, easing his boyfriend's mind and body into the process. He picked up the pace once he noticed the pleasure overtaking the pain.

The pure bliss written all over Jake's face turned Drew on in so many ways. He was happy that Jake was satisfied with his performance and the idea of his boyfriend being turned on was incredibly sexy to him.

Drew sped up his thrusts. Jake grit his teeth and he grasped the nearby pillows, nearly tearing them to shreads in his strong hands.

Each time Drew dragged his cock in and out of Jake, his body demanded that he keep going faster and harder.

"Unh.. yeah!" Jake grunted.

"You like that?" Drew asked.

"Yeah, harder! Keep.. keep going!"

Right now Jake's erection was standing at attention straight as an arrow.

"Your dick's starting to look almost taller than you are. Let me help with that."

Drew reached over and started pumping Jake's cock in rhythm with his thrusts, sending his boyfriend into rolling tides of ecstasy.

"Oh god. Please.. don't stop!" Jake panted heavily as Drew worked him.

"I don't intend to!"

The unending motion of the boys rocking back and forth with their bodies crashing into each other was quickly sending them soaring to their inevitable climax.

Drew opened his eyes and looked down at his boyfriend. Seeing him like this was so incredibly erotic and made him want to fuck him harder and faster, if that was even possible.

"Oh god, Jake! I'm almost.. there!"

"Me too. Just a little.. MORE-OH!" Jake's body thrusted into Drew's enclosed fist as his cock erupted, shooting massive streams of cum into the air.

Drew couldn't take it anymore and he pounded his erection hard into Jake as he climaxed. He exploded inside Jake and filled him up in seconds.

With his last remaining strength, Drew barely managed to pull himself out of Jake and lower his legs. Drew collapsed next to his boyfriend with a heavy sight and they both cuddled with each other, not caring that they were both covered in sweat and semen.

"Not bad for your first time as a top." Jake commended as he caught his breath.

"You were pretty good as a bottom yourself, Martin." Drew said. "I'd say more, but I think the mess we made speaks for itself."

The boys chuckled and held each other tightly as they began to drift to sleep. Their heavy panting subsided in favor of slow, rhythmic breathing.

Drew was sound asleep, his arms wrapped tightly around a big pillow. Jake smiled as he watched him dreaming. He was worried that he might've been in too much pain or too stressed from the past events to be able to sleep peacefully.

Jake left Drew to sit out on the front steps and smoke, with only the snow and his thoughts to keep him company.

Drew's fine. He's out of the hospital and here with me now so why do I still feel uneasy? Maybe because those assholes are still out there.

He inhaled harshly as the thought of those thugs crossed his mind.

I don't like the idea of those guys roaming free. It wouldn't bother me so much but they've already retaliated once. What's to stop them from trying to finish the job?

Maybe I watch too much TV, but unfortunately that doesn't mean there isn't any truth to it. They gotta be worried about the cops coming after them. Of course, they're fucked up enough to track him down and attack him in the first place.

Jake groaned, frustrated at his own imagination getting the best of him. Sometimes all he wanted to do was turn off his mind for a while.

It killed Jake to see how the incident was affecting his boyfriend, especially since he was just getting over the trauma he dealt with when the gang was after him. The thought of those guys forcing Drew to relive that nightmare made his blood boil.

Worst of all, it wasn't even Drew's fault. Jake felt an incredible amount of guilt for getting him mixed up in all of this. He detested those cowards for going after Drew instead of confronting him directly.

"I know I told Fiona I wouldn't go after those guys but.. I can't just sit by and watch this happen again. I just can't."

"So where's Jake tonight?" Eli asked, dealing out cards quickly between himself and Mo.

Mo gathered up his cards and organized them into his hand. "He couldn't make it. Something about doing stuff with the family."

"Really?" Eli asked incredulously. Mo nodded. "Because Clare told me their parents are out of town for the weekend."

Mo looked up at Eli. "Well, maybe they're going with them?"

Eli shook his head. "Nope, Clare told me just Glenn and Helen were going. She's hanging with Alli and Jenna and said Jake was going out. I assumed he was coming over here, but I guess he had other plans."

Mo couldn't believe what he was hearing right now.

"What the hell?"
