Episode 10: The Winner Is…!
Magical Devil Girl placed Valcanus Shield up to protect the party from the Feathers of Light.
"Dark Flame Master, evolve! Ghelzonianses! I call upon the flames of darkness to gift me with the weapons I desire. May the weapons of darkness be bestowed upon my hands!" Dark Flame Master prepared for battle once the shield drops.
"Mori Summer, evolve! Tiffania!"
The two prepared themselves for battle once the shield drops.
Magical Devil Girl began the countdown, "The shield's dropping in 3, 2, 1, now!"
The shield was brought down, Dark Flame Master rushed out to meet the swords of Lancelot and Kaiser while the others took care of the other remaining members of the other two teams.
Dark Flame Master entered a sword lock with both the leaders on each sword.
"Sorry but I'm not going down so easily, we're going to win" said Dark Flame Master.
"That's the spirit, as expected for the team who won the qualifiers in a breeze, but still I'm not planning on losing" said Kaiser.
"Same here, it seems like this a battle of each of our will, whoever's will and skill is best will win this battle" added Lancelot.
The three of them leaped backwards and watched each of their actions closely. Every breathe, every blink, every turn of their body as monitored closely as they waited for the perfect opportunity to strike each other down.
Wicked Eye took a few breathers as she had distance to her opponents.
"You are quite skilled, what is your name?" asked the woman from Angelic Knights.
"Wicked Eye, the strongest of all" Wicked Eye answered.
"Haha… we'll see about that, I am Rose and what about you? Miss Star Saber?"
"Asura…"
"Well nice to meet you too, Asura, this will most certainly be an interesting and exciting battle indeed" said Rose as she pointed her rapier between Wicked Eye and Asura.
Lancelot dodged Kaiser's slashes with high speeds and counter leaped over him.
"Your swordsmanship is commendable" said Lancelot as he drew out his sword.
Dark Flame Master charged at Lancelot from behind with both his swords, but Lancelot suddenly shifted to the side to dodge his charge.
I missed? No Kaiser's still in front of me.
Dark Flame Master continued his charge with no intention to stop. Kaiser saw the attack and rolled to the side, successfully avoided the attack.
"I will not lose yet" Kaiser said as he gripped his beam saber tighter.
Do I have to use it? There's no other way. The ultimate power of Dark Flame Master…
"My true and ultimate form! Dark Flame Lord mode! Twin blaze swords" he summoned two swords made of pure dark flames with only the handle as obsidian. A cape of pure dark flames formed behind him.
"Dark Flame Blaze!" he slashed at Kaiser, releasing a wave of dark flames. Kaiser managed to avoid it, but the castle behind was completely annihilated to ashes.
"T-That's the true power of… Dark Flame Master?" Kaiser mumbled in fear of the power released.
Lancelot's eyes widened, "No way, just one slash. Where did that destructive power come from?"
Wicked Eye saw the explosion of the castle and gave a small smile.
"For him to use that form, Dark Flame Master must've complete control over the dark flames" she mumbled and she gained distance from Asura.
"It's time I got serious too" she removed her eye patch to show her beautiful golden eye.
"Wicked Eye evolve! Dark Void Seeker!" dark mists began to circle around Wicked Eye.
"W-Why does my body… feel so heavy?" asked Asura as she kneeled down.
"My strength…" Rose whispered as she supported herself with her rapier.
"This form will suck away my opponent's strength until the strength I've lost is fully recovered. Dark Flame Master came up with this form and technique exactly for this situation, he said to never use it unless I totally have to" explained Wicked Eye as she equipped her Schwarz Sechs Void.
Asura slowly stood back up, "A little strength gone is nothing-" Wicked Eye had attacked her in speeds she could not keep up with.
"I… died…?" Asura disappeared into the light.
Rose steadied her stance and readied herself for Wicked Eye's next move.
Dark Flame Master appeared behind Kaiser and finished him off with his two swords.
"How… could your speed… exceed this game's… balance…?" he said as he died.
"Just you and me now" said Dark Flame Master as he got into his stance and glared with the sights of a predator.
"Oh, this makes it even more fun" said Lancelot as he prepared his stance.
They were both ready to clash, with full speed and full strength. The next hit landed was the finishing hit…
"Kyaa!" they both yelled as they charged at each other with light speed. Soon their positions were reversed. They awaited the system to calculate the clash and see who had been hit.
A slash cut mark appeared at the waist of Lancelot.
"H-How…?" he asked.
"Your attack was fast but I knew you were aiming at my neck, so I managed to block it with one sword and slide in a blow with my other sword"
"I… lost huh…?" Lancelot dropped his sword and closed his eyes as the light engulfed him, "You really are… strong…"
"I made a promise with someone, that I will win this tournament for her, I intend to keep that promise"
"A promise huh…" Lancelot vanished…
Dark Flame Master moved Wicked Eye's battle and watched her.
"Void Cannon System activate" she aimed her Schwarz Sechs Void cannon directly at Rose.
"A cannon is small and take long to recharge. If you miss this shot you're gone" said Rose.
"Yes, then all I need to do is not miss my shot"
"Pretty confident now aren't you?"
"Our delusion strength is the strongest. Stronger than anyone else's" she pulled the trigger. A beam launched out from the cannon mouth. Rose's legs froze as she saw the size of the beam.
"I-I can't dodge it?!"
The beam directly hit her and ate up her remaining HP.
"Winner of this tournament is… Team Far Eastern Magic Nap Society, congratulations!" announced the announcer.
They teleported back to the town was greeted with the biggest cheers of all time. Team knights was there clapping for the victors of the tournament.
Wicked Eye embraced Dark Flame Master tightly as she whispered beside his ear, "We won… thank you Yuuta…"
