"So did you find out what they are?" Ferb asked Gretchen quietly, as they sat on a cushioned benched.

"Both are going to be girls," Gretchen murmured back.

"Are you sure?" Ferb asked quietly.

"I'll show you the ultrasound tomorrow," Gretchen replied, laying her head on his shoulder.

As Ferb wrapped one arm around her, he could tell she was tired. Ferb watched as the other couples and the youngsters dance. Ferb smiled to himself, it was good to be assumed that she slept as well as he did while he was gone: Terribly. He shuddered to think what the doctor would say about Gretchen's lack of sleep because he was gone.

Ferb felt a change in Gretchen's breathing and instantly knew she had fallen asleep against him. He merely kissed her head and laid his head on hers and continued to watch the other party-goers. He must have fallen asleep because a soft 'Aww," and the click of a camera woke him up. When he opened his eyes he found sparkling green ones looking at him in amusement.

"Adyson! What the hell?" Ferb hissed as he noticed Gretchen was still asleep and a group of Lil' Sparks passed by.

"Don't worry Ferb I won't use it as blackmail. Heavens knows that Gretchen would kill me if I did," Adyson replied, "besides it's one of those moments that goes into the scrapbook that only our group of girls gets to see."

Isabella came up to the two. She glanced at Gretchen and then back at Ferb. She gave him a soft smile before speaking, "You should take her home, the others will understand. Phineas and I will see you at your parents house for Christmas."

"Are you sure Isabella?" Ferb inquired glancing over his sister-in-law.

"Yeah, Phineas was the one who suggested it actually," Isabella said.

Ferb gently roused Gretchen from her sleep. Once they had arrived home both of them got dressed for bed. Ferb laid awake allowing his thoughts to had laid her head on Ferb's chest. The gentle rhythm of his heartbeat causing her to fall asleep before he had even noticed. After he had actually noticed that she was asleep,Ferb's mind was racing. Two girls? It would be interesting to see what happens when they arrive. But most importantly it was nice to hold Gretchen in his arms again. He then noticed that she was asleep with a smile on her face but with her glasses still on. As gently as he could he removed her glasses and set them on the headboard. He wrapped his arms around her, one hand on her cheek and the other around her abdomen.

"I love you so much, and I really missed you," Ferb murmured.

"Not as much as I love you," Gretchen murmured back in her sleep.

Ferb came to the same conclusion he had at the party: It was truly good to be home.
