Chapter 21: Jealous Bone

A few days had passed since Sir Joseph and his party had returned to Malora with Medusa. Medusa was working with him diligently on ironing out the plans to install at least the one main heating pool for the castle before the onset of winter. Sir Joseph had given the order to have the large dungeon area dismantled for the construction.

Maleficent spent quite a bit of her early days with Aurora at the castle as there was much to discuss in terms of business in terms of the product flow and work that had to be caught up on. Prince Philip returned to Ulstead to pick up more cloth and materials for Queen Aurora and Maleficent. Diaval found himself spending most of the mornings catching up with Robin.

Towards the evenings just before sunset, Maleficent would practice exercising her wings with Diaval. She was becoming stronger and stronger every evening. They would practice out by the cliff overlook where Maleficent had taught Diaval how to fly as a Dragon.

In their off time, Medusa spent some time with Maleficent and she had given her a tour of the Moors first from the air on Diaval's back. It was a beautiful day and fairly warm out for the time of year when everyone was preparing for winter. Maleficent had to laugh as Medusa's reactions to everything she saw was nearly identical to that of Aurora's. In fact about half way through the tour, Maleficent had Aurora, herself, complete the tour of the Moors with Medusa on Diaval while she was taking care of things at the Rowan tree. Upon landing the two were chattering amongst themselves non stop. Maleficent then joined up with the ladies and Diaval and they started to take a bit of a tour on foot up until they reached the large open field where she explained where she got her first taste of freedom again the first time Diaval let her ride on his back as a horse and of late she was exercising her wings there.

Maleficent figured they would take a break and rest a for a while. She picked out a tree that had a low branch on a nice angle and climbed up into it and reclined back on the branch.

"Wow! You are a pretty good climber," Medusa said. She giggled and slithered up the tree nearly twice as fast picking an even higher limb and she looked down to Maleficent below crossing her hands on the limb and placing her chin on her hands.

"Impressive!" Maleficent exclaimed looking up to her friend.

"I always liked to climb the trees around my island. They do provide a good look out point," Medusa said.

"Indeed they do." Maleficent said.

Aurora and Diaval sat at the base of the tree leaning against a very large root which was conveniently protruding up and opposite the two limbs the ladies were resting on. It formed a natural backrest.

"What's passed there?" Medusa said looking up and pointing to the south end of the clearing.

"That border of trees marks the south end of the Moors. Going passed there and little more to the west is the ruins of Dragon Claw castle and further south is the overlook. In fact the overlook is where I helped to train Diaval how to fly as a dragon," Maleficent smiled as she looked in that direction. "Funny how now the tables are turned and now I am the one practicing to fly. Now Diaval has to put up with me."

"Put up? Whats to put up with, It has been a pleasure working with you so you can fly again," Diaval said, "Last time we even had a great time even on the trip home."

Aurora let out an, "Awwwww!"

"Aww, Diaval, you certainly can be sweet." Medusa said.

Maleficent smiled and laughed through her nose a little bit.

"What? What's so funny?" Medusa asked.

"Oh nothing really."

"Care to share?" Aurora asked.

"Well we normally been going back and forth to the cliff in his dragon form so this past time we returned with myself riding on his back as a horse. Something we haven't done in a while. So it was special," Maleficent answered.

"Alright," Medusa looked down with narrow eyes as it seemed Maleficent was holding something back.

"Oh wow! It sure has been a while since you were a horse, right Diaval?"

"Yes, Aurora."

When Medusa and Aurora turned her head away to look out to the field, Maleficent gave Diaval a seductive sideways glance and smiled. He smiled back and Medusa noticed and quickly turned her head back. Maleficent then quickly looked away.

"Oh! I caught that look! What did you two do?"

"What?" Maleficent said trying to play it off but she quickly realized she was caught.

"Oh, don't 'what' me. I saw that seductive look you shot over to Diaval. What did you two do when you came back from the overlook?"

"Didn't you see her look, your highness?" Medusa asked.

"No, I am sorry I didn't catch it. You can just call me Aurora when we are alone like this " Aurora said, looked to Diaval and continued. "But I notice Diaval's face is turning red."

Medusa and Aurora started to giggle and this made Diaval turn even more red.

Maleficent felt Diaval was taking too much heat she sighed heavily and said, "Oh Alright, Diaval was just as sweet as he is and he made the trip home very nice for me. Now, the rest is private."

Medusa wasn't satisfied with her answer and just narrowed her eyes.

Suddenly Aurora's eyes flew open and she said excitedly, "Private?! Oh I bet you rode him bare bottom didn't you?"

"You mean bareback," Medusa corrected looking somewhat disappointed.

"No, I meant what I said, 'bare bottom'" Aurora re-corrected Medusa.

"What is that?" Medusa asked.

"It is when you ride a horse without pants or undergarment on and you let the vibration from the horse's running go straight up to your clitoris."

Medusa's eyes flew open wide at Aurora's explanation. At first she didn't believe it but when she turned to Maleficent, she pointed, "Look now she's turning red. Oh! That's it isn't it! Huh?"

Maleficent winced as if she was in pain, she was caught as her rosy cheeks gave her away. She laid back against the branch.

"Oh! Alright, yes! Aurora, now I feel so embarrassed."

"Why godmother? I think it is wonderful that you had a good experience like that. That is something I wished to do too and I also have a confession to make."

"Oh? Maleficent suddenly perked up and looked down to Aurora."

"Ladies, if you will excuse me, this conversation is getting to rich for me," Diaval said with an embarrassed look on his face as he got up and started to walk away.

"No, Diaval, please stay," Aurora said.

"Beastie, let him go, can't you tell he is already embarrassed to no end? And so am I for that matter." Maleficent said and she turned to Diaval and said, "Diaval, be a dear and please fetch us a round of apples."

"Gladly," Diaval said and wasted no time in being relieved from the current conversation. He practically ran away.

Aurora pouted for a while as she waved to Diaval. Maleficent and Medusa then looked to her to continue what she had to say.

"Well, as you know Sir Joseph left Prince Philip his steed, Lightning, you know the really fast black horse...so he could get to Ulstead to and fro very fast." Aurora explained.

"Yes, I know of the horse." Maleficent said.

"I think I might have seen a black horse in the stable when Joe gave me a tour of the castle," Medusa said.

"Well, I took Lighting out just to see how fast he would go. I could feel the intense vibration going through my legs and even through my clothes when he ran. So then the idea came to me from something I read a long while back, about women...you know...going bare bottom on a horse to fulfill themselves. So later that day when no one was watching, I went to the stables I took the saddle off lightning, and rode him bareback out to this very field. I got off pulled my bloomers and undergarment off and then I just rode until well...you know...I climaxed."

At first Maleficent just stared down at Aurora wide eyed.

"Hmmmm, that sounds so nice." Medusa said. "But I don't think I can do that, my anatomy is different and I don't have a clitoris as human woman have."

"Aurora!" Maleficent exclaimed in angry tone. "I am a little angry with you for leaving the castle without notification. What if Lightning thrown you or there was some other accident in which you were knocked unconscious and bleeding. The fae very rarely use this field especially towards the evening. You could have been trapped out here alone. You have to be more careful in the future, young lady. You have a kingdom to lead in your future and I am charged with your care and the care of the kingdom until that time. I could never be able to explain it to the people of Malora, if something were to happen to you over some careless stunt. Just how many times have you done this?"

"Only the once," Aurora said ashamed of herself. She began to cower lower and lower into the root of the tree. She continued. "I know Godmother, I realize now that it was not wise of me not to tell anyone where I was going."

The angered tone in Maleficent's voice began to escalate, "You have to, in the very least notify, someone that you are leaving the castle and where you will be at least for anything for my sake. I don't want to worry about where you have gone and if you are OK. Now, I am never to hear of something like this again, Beastie. Do I make myself clear?"

Suddenly tears started to well up in Aurora's eyes as she said, "Yes, I am sorry, but I just wanted to know. I know for me it was the single best sexual experience I had so far in my life and I wanted to know how it was for you."

Maleficent put her head in her hand and then said, "Aurora! That's another thing. Certain things a woman should keep to herself. You are the queen, and since you are the queen, you need to take more responsibility for actions. Now ladies if you will excuse me now this conversation is getting too rich for me and I am getting too upset."

Maleficent started to sit up.

"Godmother, I told you that you aren't the only woman with that dream. So it is no big secret if you told us."

"Alright! I can tell you are not going to leave me alone," Maleficent was beginning to get annoyed. "I loved it, it was beautiful and yes because it was Diaval I was riding he worked with me, I had about 5 good orgasms before we even reached the Rowan Tree. Now please, Beastie, let me be, you are beginning to upset me with this whole incident and wanting to know every detail in my sexual life."

Suddenly Aurora's face grew sad as it rarely does and her voice quavered as she said, "I am sorry Godmother, but my real mother died and I have no guidance in my life but some books and you. I am of age and there is a boy in my life that potentially wants me. I need ideas and advice on what to do so I am not a total basket when the time comes to get close. In addition, I am always concerned for your happiness and the more good times you tell me you have with Diaval, well it makes me happy to finally see that you are getting your happiness after what my horrible father had done to you. I am sorry if it seems like I am prying, but I am 16 years old and my hormones are going crazy and like any teenager I am exploring myself and my surroundings and yes, I eventually want to have sex too. You have that experience and I am just looking up to you."

Medusa looked very sad and her snakes were drooping down low on her shoulders. Tears started to well up in her eyes. "Please ladies, don't argue, you're making me upset and I just want to see everyone happy." She turned to Aurora and said, "My, your grace, you certainly express yourself very well for such a young lady."

"Well, Medusa, my Godmother always said I am a natural leader, just like she is. So thank you for the kind remark." Aurora said, still with some sadness in her voice.

Aurora stood up and walked over to the branch Maleficent was on and placed her hand on hers and said, "I am sorry, I don't want to upset you."

Maleficent sighed and she climbed down from the tree, held Aurora by the shoulders and looked her in the eye and said in a softer tone, "I'm sorry too for getting short with you. It is just that, one, I am concerned for safety and, two, that I am somewhat uncomfortable with talking about my private life. I would like certain things to be kept between Diaval and I. But perhaps I should sit down and explain to you certain things that you need to know about becoming a woman. And thank you for being concerned that Diaval and I are always happy."

"Thank you Godmother," Aurora said slowly the happiness returning to her face. She gave Maleficent a hug and a kiss on cheek before letting go.

Medusa clapped loudly as she became happy herself. She then uncoiled from the branch and slithered back down the tree. Then all three of them sat around the base of the tree; Maleficent next to Aurora and Medusa coiled up next to the trunk, purposely leaving a space for Diaval. Moments later he returned with a bunch of apples he was carrying in his shirt. Medusa turned to look in his direction as he approached. He pulled the lower part of his shirt up to carry the apples and his mid section was exposed. Maleficent raised an eyebrow and once again Aurora noticed.

She leaned over and whispered in her godmother's ear, "I see you checking out his stomach. It is rather nice and flat, but it is the scar you are after, huh?"

Maleficent looked at Aurora and cracked a little smile.

"Well ladies, I am assuming the rich part of the conversation is over by now," Diaval said.

"Yes," all three replied.

They all grabbed an apple and started to kick back and relax. Diaval sat down between Maleficent and Medusa.

"Medusa, my friend, I am curious about something," Maleficent said changing the subject now that Diaval was back.

"Yes?"

"How are the people's reactions to you in the castle?"

"Well, they seemed mixed. Some people wanted to meet me, some were skittish, and yet others out right ran away. Heck one person even covered their eyes in fear I would turn them to stone. However, one of the nicer people I met was a servant that was particularly friendly and she like the way I dressed saying I look like an exotic oriental dancer. She said that with my toned stomach, I would easily win a oriental dancing competition."

"Oh, that is interesting," Maleficent said.

"What is oriental dancing?" Diaval asked.

"Yes, I am interested too," Aurora said.

"Oh! I have a book on that." Medusa said to Aurora and then turned to Diaval and continued. "Diaval, it is a dance in which ladies perform by gyrating their hips and moving their arms in a very beautiful manner. It is an exotic dance. Usually the dresses or costumes are very open in the midsection so the audience can see the body movements better."

"Oh," Diaval said and paused for a bit and then asked her, "Do you know how to do this dance?"

"Yep! It was in the book," said in a matter of fact tone.

"Can you show me what it looks like?"

"Well, OK. But normally this is done to music."

Medusa uncoiled and slithered forward in front of the three. She started by closing her eyes and putting her hands behind her neck. She then started to undulate her tail at about the midsection which caused a side to side compression and extension of her abdomen. She then stared to do a forward backward undulation. The movement of her muscles made Diaval's eyes grow wide. Maleficent noticed Diaval was fixated on her midsection and suddenly she got that feeling again. It was that ugly jealousy feeling again, knowing that Medusa had a nicer looking stomach than her own and Diaval was looking right at it. Maleficent thought, 'Was she attracting Diaval? No, it can't be, he only wanted to see the dance, no one was making a pass at anyone, that was clear, yet Diaval's eyes seemed to be focused right on her stomach. Then again, the dance itself seems to draw the eyes to that area of the body. Mal you are reading too hard into it and then you will end up jumping to wrong conclusions. Medusa wouldn't intentionally attract Diaval since that incident at her place and besides, she has Sir Joseph.' But still, just to be safe, Maleficent wanted to put a stop to the dancing.

"Uhhh, OK, Medusa, that is enough...we get the idea." Maleficent said.

Diaval glanced at Maleficent and saw the displeased look in her eye. He quickly came to and said, "Oh, yes, Medusa that is enough I got the idea. Thank you."

Maleficent's face returned to it's normal calm self.

"Medusa, does that book also show you how to make the dresses?" Aurora asked.

"Of course, that is where I get the ideas for my outfits."

"Can I borrow that book when we get back to the castle? Maybe I can get ideas from it."

"Sure. I am not reading it right now."

They returned to eating their apples while pointing out some of the wildlife and creatures of the Moors that would pop up here and there.

Medusa changed the subject and said between bites, "Oh, I would like to see both Dragon Claw castle and the overlook."

"Well, the castle can wait, but I certainly want to get to the overlook myself as I certainly would like to do more wing exercises."

Diaval said, "Yes, I am always looking forward to that."

"Of course, as do I. I would like to practice catching drafts and gliding off your back as a dragon, then I can work from there." Maleficent informed Diaval.

"Oh, this sounds exciting!" Medusa said and then continued. "Can we watch too?"

"Well, I am not one to be in the mood for a large audience as I need to keep my mind free of distractions", Maleficent said.

Aurora said, "Large audience? It is only Medusa and I."

"I am afraid she is right though...the slightest distraction could be dangerous," Diaval said. "Sorry, but It is best if we are alone."

"Ohhhh!" Medusa blurted out and started to pout as a child would crossing her arms across her chest.

"Don't be upset, my friend, once I can fly on my own, you certainly can see then. Right now I am just afraid of...falling, or flying into a tree or something of that nature." Maleficent said as she paused before saying the last word of her sentence.

Well, if we are not going to the overlook then why don't we take the detour to Dragon Claw and show that to Medusa instead," Diaval suggested. "Then on the way back we can cut along back through the center of the Moors to get to the Rowan Tree."

All nodded in agreement and started to gather themselves up to get ready to go. Medusa was particularly excited to see the castle.

On foot it took a while for the small group to reach Dragon Claw castle. They stood outside by the main entrance just outside the outer wall. Dragon Claw was unique in that it didn't have a moat as most castles did. At one time it had a large outer wall, but much of that had collapsed over the years. The only large section of the outer wall still intact was in the front of the castle. This area was obviously built stronger as it had two towers that flanked a portcullis and drawbridge that led up to the midpoint of the wall of the keep. The drawbridge long collapsed into a heap of lumber at the base of the keep. The portcullis was stuck in the down position. The keep was in better condition than the outer wall, but it too was showing its age and parts of the wall had either collapsed or had holes in it. One of the large towers had collapsed and fallen through the keep and through the outer wall. Another tower was leaning against the keep wall and was on the on the verge of collapse. Aurora made a face at the current condition of the castle, but Medusa looked at it with eyes wide with wonder and amazement.

"Wow! It looked like it was a nice castle at one time. But it is much smaller than Castle Malora," Medusa said.

"It isn't even half the size," Maleficent said and then added, "Less if you take into consideration what has been lost to ruin."

"How do you get in?" Medusa asked.

"Not this way. We must go around to the back"

As they started around to the west side of the castle they heard a horse approaching. It was Sir Joseph and he was riding Lightning.

"Good day, your majesty and your excellency, Am I too late for the tour?"

"Actually this is our last stop for today, sir. You care to join us?" Maleficent said.

"Sure, your excellency."

"Ride around to the back you will see a stone bridge going over a depression in the ground, we will meet you there."

The small group met up with Sir Joseph around the back of the castle. Sir Joseph was tying his horse to a nearby tree.

"Good of you to join us Sir Joseph," Queen Aurora said.

"Thank you, your majesty," Sir Joseph bowed before the queen and then bowed before Maleficent. He then put his hand out for the royals to take the lead. He took his place next to Medusa of whom was still marveling at the castle.

"I guess I missed quite a bit huh," Sir Joseph whispered to Medusa.

"Of the Moors, yes, but I can fill you in on that, but we just started with the castle," Medusa said.

"Ok, onward then," Maleficent said as she put her hand out towards the bridge of the castle and said to Sir Joseph, "To get you up to speed, I was mentioning to everyone, the main front entrance is not usable as you probably saw when you pulled up on your horse."

Maleficent then looked to everyone and said. "At one point, for some reason, they must have stopped using the front entrance and started to use this one here. They built a stone bridge to the back door. Over the years an inner watch tower had collapsed and barred the door, so you can't get in this way either. When I had my wings, I just flew directly into the keep. Afterwards I just walked in through that large hole in the corner. That is how we are going in."

The group walked though the large hole in the corner and upon entering the castle, the inside of the keep was in worse shape than the outside. "There were many buildings, probably for merchants that lined the wall of the inside keep some in various degrees of repair," Maleficent said. "What is of main interest is the construction of the citadel in the center above us. That was the main living area of the royals. We are entering the lower section which contained shops and quarters for the servants.

Maleficent then turned to Sir Joseph and said, "Keep a watch out for Queen Aurora. It has been a while since I been in this castle and I am unsure of it's safety."

"Yes, your excellency," Sir Joseph said.

The lower areas of the keep were dark and musty there were only very small windows in the sides that let it minor bits of light. It wasn't look when they found a stone staircase, but it was in bad shape. They only got up a quarter of the way before coming to a large section that collapsed into a pile of rubble below.

"Medusa, I am sure you can do something with this, correct?" Maleficent asked.

"Yes, Indeed."

With a wave of her hands a yellow glow emerged and shot down into the pile of rubble. Like a jigsaw puzzle the sections of stone came into place and then Medusa sealed all the cracks. She then continued up the steps sealing any other cracks they found on the way up.

"My goodness," Sir Joseph said in awe, "The stairs are like new now."

Maleficent nodded, "Yes, she does have an impressive power indeed. I can't even do that."

They exited the staircase through a pair of collapsed double doors which led onto the main concourse level of the castle. This level had a stone floor. Like the floor below, there seemed to be many shops that ran around the edge of the keep, but these shops were more ornate and larger, apparently for those visiting the castle. The citadel was situated mostly towards the center rear of the castle. It was very gothic in construction and very dark looking. It was a severe contrast in design to Castle Malora of which was mostly light in color. The upper floors were in serious disrepair. Many of the fancy stained glass windows were broken. A large gaping hole in the side of the main floor opened up into what appeared to be the dining room. The opposing side of the citadel seemed to be in better shape with most of it's glass windows intact.

When they reached the citadel, Maleficent opened the door that led down a grand hallway that led to both the grand hall and the dining room. Surprisingly the layout of this part of Dragon Claw castle seemed very similar to Castle Malora but much smaller. The dining room which was the smaller of the two main rooms was open to the outside and mostly destroyed by the weather. The other side contained the much larger grand hall and this area of the castle was largely intact. As they entered from the side hallway, the main staircase was to the right and it was a double sweeping stairway that flanked the main outside entrance to the grand hall. The other end of the grand hall there was a group of three thrones. Maleficent led everyone right to the thrones. Above them hung a huge flag that had the insignia of Dragon Claw castle, a large claw with the face of a fire breathing dragon inside of it.

Maleficent took it upon herself to stand in front of what would be the queen's throne. And she put her hand out to the larger king's thrown and said, "Have a seat Aurora."

Aurora smiled as she said, "Thank you, Godmother, I don't mind if I do, that was a long walk."

After Aurora sat down in on the throne, Maleficent then sat down in the queen's throne. It made a rather short and abrupt grunt under her weight and it remarkably sounded like the expulsion of gas. Maleficent's eyes widened as the sound reverberated through the hall.

"That was not what it seemed to be," Maleficent said waving her hands across each other and outward.

Everyone laughed except Maleficent as she just grinned.

Diaval decided to make light of the situation and said, "My dear, did you sit on a duck?"

Everyone laughed even harder. Most notably Medusa laughed hardest of all and she even arched her shoulders forward in a way that Maleficent did when she laughs. Maleficent herself was just sitting and grinning trying to maintain her composure and not laugh.

"Wow, my dear Medusa, you have some nice hearty laugh," Sir Joseph said. "I don't think I ever saw you laugh like this."

"I don't know it just struck me as really funny. Oh! I need to sit," Medusa said as she slithered over to the third smaller throne that was off to the right of the kings throne. Probably a prince or princess' throne.

As Medusa prepared to sit down. Diaval said, "Careful now Medusa! You might sit on a duck yourself."

Medusa collapsed into the throne and put her hand over her mouth as she started to laugh to near hysterics. Everyone else was laughing too.

She then said, "Oh Diaval! You are making me laugh too much! My sides are hurting."

Diaval just smiled as he didn't think his joke was that funny, but apparently they were tickling Medusa pink.

Sir Joseph went over to her and he was laughing too, but not quite as hard. He just noticed her abdomen and how pronounced her muscles became has she laughed. He put his hand over her abdomen as if trying to hold her together from falling to pieces from laughter.

Maleficent shifted her weight in the throne and it put out another grunt this time louder and longer than the first one towards the end it raised in pitch a bit.

Maleficent's eyes widened even more. As now everyone including Diaval, laughed very hard. Medusa shifted hard in her seat as a new wave of laughs came over her. She took her hand away from her mouth for a moment to gasp out, "Please forgive me. It's just funny!"

By now everyone was laughing nearly as hard as Medusa. Diaval had to sit down on the steps that lead to the throne and he too was putting his hand over his mouth. Aurora was laying across the arm rests of her throne also holding her stomach as she laughed.

Maleficent was got to a point where watching her friend Medusa practically doubled over in laughter was more funny than the embarrassing noises her throne was making. She started to giggle and the vibration from her giggling caused the throne to make a series of short staccato putting sounds.

This proved to be too much for Medusa and she kicked her tail out of her seat and she leaned back laughing uncontrollably hard. She didn't even cover her mouth anymore and burst out laughing. Tears started to roll down her eyes. Sir Joseph just joined in and laughed very hard just watching Medusa. Aurora was now practically a curled up ball of laughter.

Maleficent carefully got up from her seat and thankfully it didn't make any further embarrassing sounds. She just walked over to Medusa and when she got good look at her friend now was laughing to tears in Sir Josephs arms, it was all Maleficent could handle and then she too broke out in a gentle laugh arching her shoulders forward.

Diaval looked over to Maleficent as she laughed and it finally calmed him down. She was truly a beautiful sight when laughing. Her smile lit up her whole face and he could see nearly all the teeth in her mouth. It was rare that she laughed like this and it was a beautiful sight to see. Her face practically lit up the whole room.

But then just as quickly as she started to laugh, Maleficent stopped and then called to everyone's attention.

"Well, let me continue with the tour before someone here ends up dying from laughter," she glanced over to Medusa of whom was still laughing in Sir Joseph's arms.

Once everyone finally regained their composure, Maleficent continued, "I used to play here as a child. As with Castle Malora, this castle also has a pipe organ, but it is here in the grand hall since this castle isn't large enough to have a ballroom. Apparently they must have held the balls in here."

Maleficent walked over to a set of steps at the rear of the room and walked up to a small balcony that was situated over the thrones. She then raised her hands and a green glow formed around them and then a group of large shutters opened up towards the upper back portion of the room. Behind the shutters were many rows of large pipes that nearly filled the entire width of the back part of the hall. She then pulled off a leather cover in front to reveal the organ's console. She wanted to sit down but first carefully tested the seat before attempting to sit on it.

"Checking for ducks?" Diaval asked.

"A wise move indeed, your excellency," Sir Joseph grinned.

Once again Medusa started to laugh, but she put her hand over her mouth.

"Yes, gentlemen, can't be too safe," Maleficent said and then passed her tongue over her lips.

As Maleficent turned to wipe the seat off. Diaval quickly tip toed over to the flatulent queen's throne and was getting ready to sit in it when Aurora shook her hand and whispered, "No,don't."

Then a voice boomed from above, "Stop! Diaval do NOT sit there!"

Diaval's eyes widened as he silently mouthed, "Ooops" to everyone with his butt just inches from the seat. The look on his face made Aurora laugh.

"Now it is time we return to acting like mature adults, now shall we. We had a good laugh, but enough is enough!" Maleficent bellowed.

Everyone quieted down as Maleficent took a seat on the organ console but faced out to everyone. Diaval's eyes were drawn to the pipes following them upwards. It was a beautiful site to see as Diaval saw his majestic woman and the equally majestic organ with it's massive pipes behind her. It was a fitting instrument choice for her to play. While the organ was indeed smaller overall than the one at Castle Malora, the main bass producing pipes in the middle nearly went to the ceiling.

"Sadly the pipe organ hasn't worked since I was 16. It broke shortly after my 16th birthday," Maleficent said with a bit of sadness in her voice as she glanced back at the massive instrument.

"The staircases in the front go up to the royal bedrooms upstairs. From there they go to up another series of servants quarters. The roof covered a large space above the servants quarters of which I only assumed was a storage space or attic. But the roof long collapsed through that area into the servants quarters."

Sir Joseph started towards the front of the hall along with Diaval and started up the steps.

"You can't go up there as soon as you turn the corner you will come across a collapsed beam, you go the other way and the stairway abruptly ends, collapsed into the dining room below. As a child I was able to fly into the main bedroom when it was intact and I often slept in the king and queen's bed whenever I felt sad. As with the organ, when I was 16 the ceiling collapsed in that room, ruining it and it's beautiful bed."

"The tower that you see outside that is leaning was another spot that I used to hang around and play when I was younger. I also sat there the night after my wings were stolen barely sheltered by the rain after I made the long walk up the tower steps to a place I normally could fly to. Some poor raven was caught out in the rain that night and wanted to keep me company. I entertained it for a while before giving him a gentle blow of wind from my mouth. He just jumped. I think he liked me and wanted to stay, but eventually he got the message that I was upset and wanted be alone and it flew off."

"Diaval, why do you have tears in your eyes?" Medusa asked.

"Because the raven Maleficent is talking about was me."

"What?" Maleficent said as she shot up from her seat. "Diaval, why haven't you told me this before?"

"Well, it was all fuzzy after you changed me into a man. That night it was raining and I was not sure of whom it was that was in the shadows. I just knew the person had great powers, was very upset and wanted to be alone. So I left and never gave it another thought. But now when you describe that night so perfectly it just all came back to me and that person in the shadows, crying, was you." Diaval explained.

"Oh Diaval." Maleficent sighed as she sat back down. She hung her head low for a while. Then when she raised her head she looked to Medusa.

"Medusa, I would like you to work with Sir Mark at the castle to see if we can remove this organ and store it. Eventually I would like to make a permanent home for it in the Moors."

Medusa kept looking around and then said, "I have a better idea, why don't we just leave the organ here and just restore the whole castle."

Maleficent's eyes widened and she said, "Medusa, the beams under this citadel were in bad shape 17 years ago. Who knows what they look like now. I am, by right, putting everyone in danger here."

"From the looks of this place, all I would have to do is go outside and give the wall a good shove and this whole castle will come down," Sir Joseph said.

"You are probably right, Sir Joseph," Maleficent said with a smile.

"No, I don't think it is that bad. You mentioned you have stone faeries in the Moors, with their help I can fix this place up."

"What for, Medusa? Who is going to live here once you are done? I no longer have a need for this place."

"For me, and for Sir Joseph."

"Medusa, Sir Joseph needs to stay at Castle Malora. He needs to be there to be of service to the Queen. That castle is his home."

"So you are just going to let this place fall apart. But I think it can be beautiful again."

"The only thing that I believe can be fixed in this place is the organ. That is the main reason I brought everyone this far in here. The castle itself beyond repair. It would take a team of faeries more than a year to rebuild this place."

"Well, I can live with that. We have magic as fae, if we were just humans it would take decades, so we do have the power to do this. Plus, I can work pretty fast. Over the years I have been noticing my skills increasing. I can do things much faster now."

"Alright, let me put it another way. What are you going to do with a place this big?" Maleficent asked.

"I don't know," Medusa.

"I thought so." Maleficent said. She then turned to everyone else and said, "Let's go back home it's getting late."

Medusa pouted as they made their way towards the door they came in. Maleficent noticed this and when they exited the door, instead of turning back to the entrance Maleficent opened up the door to the dining room.

"Look at what you would have to deal with," she said.

Medusa slowly peered into the room. The once majestic dining room was nearly completely destroyed by weather. There were fallen beams. Plaster was missing in chunks from the walls and whatever was left of the ceiling. In the center to the left were the crumbled remains of the main staircase, which landed on the ornate dining room table, smashing that end of the table completely. They could look up into the room above them which appeared to be a royal bedroom.

"It's a wreck Medusa. Nothing more," Maleficent said.

They continued forward through the dining room and out into the main concourse, heading back towards the way they came.

They once again proceed down the scary dank staircase before emerging back outside.

"Oh thank goodness," Diaval said as he emerged into the light. "I just felt very uneasy in there."

Sir Joseph went over to his horse and Medusa slithered to his side resting her hand on his arm. He just smiled at her and said, "I have to get back to the castle. I am assuming the tour is over since it will be getting dark soon. Do you want me to take you back to the castle?"

"No, Maleficent is going to show me her place and I believe we are all going to spend the night there." Medusa said.

"Medusa, while I am ok with everyone staying for dinner, not all of us can stay together overnight," Maleficent said. "There is only room for three to sleep."

"Alright then," Sir Joseph said and then turned to Aurora. "Your Majesty, would you like me to take you back to the castle."

"No, I would like to stay as well," she said and then turned to Maleficent and said, "I think we can make do, Godmother."

"You could probably change me into my original form and I can sleep in my nest," Diaval suggested. "Then you would have enough room."

"Diaval, no, I would like for use to sleep together like we did before," Aurora said.

Maleficent let out a sigh and said, "Alright, but it will be tight and don't blame me if someone has to sleep on the floor."

"That's fine I don't mind sleeping on the floor," Aurora said.

Sir Joseph coughed at the young queen's comment and said, "Forgive me for saying, your majesty, but the floor is no place for a queen to sleep."

"Thank you, Sir Joseph for your concern, but I want to stay at my Godmother's place regardless of my sleeping arrangement."

"As you wish," Sir Joseph said as he bowed.

He then turned to Medusa and said, "Well, I guess I am going back to the castle alone then."

"Don't worry I will be with you here," Medusa said as she placed her hand over his heart.

His voice dropped to a whisper and said, "It will be aching in your absence."

"Awwww, Joe," Medusa said tilting her head to the side and giving him a soft kiss on the lips.

Aurora was beaming with delight at the sight of the two kissing.

Maleficent and Diaval were standing behind Aurora and while she was watching Medusa and Sir Joseph kiss, Diaval looked to Maleficent and pursed his lips a bit hoping she would get the message. Maleficent nodded in acknowledgement and the two gave each other a quick kiss while no one was looking. Their timing was perfect as soon as they pulled away, Medusa and Sir Joseph pulled away.

Sir Joseph then untied his horse, looked to Queen Aurora and said, "Do you have any special instructions for me, your majesty?"

"Uhhhhmmmm, no not really, Sir Joseph, just commence your nightly routine as you normally do. Oh! Please tell the servants not to wait up for me for breakfast."

"As you wish. Have a pleasant evening and a good morning. Sleep well my queen," Sir Joseph bowed his head and then turned to Maleficent and said, "Thank you for the tour of Dragon Claw, your excellency."

Maleficent dipped her head as Sir Joseph bowed. He then hoisted himself up onto his horse and wished everyone farewell before ridding off towards the main road that lead to the castle.

"Well, I guess we will have to figure out some plan for the sleeping arrangement tonight," Maleficent said. "But for now, we better get a move on. As Sir Joseph said, it will be getting dark soon and I am hungry," Maleficent said as she planted her staff into the ground and pushed forward. Everyone followed.

"Yeah, I am getting hungry too," Medusa said.

"Must be from all that laughing you did," Diaval said.

"I agree!" Medusa exclaimed.

"Did somebody sit on a duck!" Aurora mimicked Diaval and started to chuckle.

Everyone laughed, but Maleficent tried to keep a straight face. But Diaval could tell she was fighting it.

Diaval positioned his arms above his head as if to mimic Maleficent's horns.

"Oh don't you dare go there, Diaval!" Maleficent said in a stern voice narrowing her eyes.

Diaval changed his voice to a horrible approximation of Maleficent's and said, "Enough! Do not sit in the farting seat!

Medusa burst out laughing but tried to hold it back and when it came out her lips made that very sound of escaping gas. That made her and Aurora laugh even harder.

"Oh, please, do you have to bring...that up again?" Maleficent asked. But Diaval could tell she was fighting back her laughter as she was moving her mouth strangely and he could see and hear her rapidly exhaling.

Diaval continued, "I said enough Diaval!"

Everyone laughed and Diaval put his arms back down and just smiled at his lover. She finally caved in and laughed too shaking her head.

"Huh? Huh? Oh, she's laughing!" Diaval said.

"Of course I am, Diaval, I do have a sense of humor, you know...despite popular belief."

"My dear I know you want to be proper and correct all the time, but it's us. It's OK to goof off a bit. You know I love to see you laugh. It is Ok to laugh with us."

"Alright, alright, I guess lowering the maturity level every now and then is good. Laughter is good. We do certainly need to laugh more," Maleficent agreed.

"Thank you, my dear," Diaval said, "I just want to see the kid in you from time to time. I know she is in there."

Maleficent grinned and than nonchalantly placed her free hand under her robe and gave it a twist and a very robust 'BRRRRAP!' emanated from Diaval's rear.

Everyone stopped walking and looked in the direction the sound came from. Both Aurora and Maleficent had the same reaction, opening their mouth agape. Medusa immediately burst out laughing, while Diaval just stood wide eyed and his face became very pale.

"I didn't do that!"

"Oh, come now Diaval," Aurora said, "I heard it come from your behind. You farted!"

With that she joined Medusa in laughter.

Maleficent turned a bit a way as she put one hand over her mouth to conceal her grin.

"Honestly! I know the sound came from there but I didn't. I am too much of a gentleman to release a flatus in front of a group of ladies. I would know and feel that it is coming but this time I didn't feel it, the sound was just there!" Diaval had a look on his face of both shame and shock.

Maleficent remained quiet and didn't say a word. As it was she was having issues of her own trying to contain her laughter. Her body started to shake a bit as she started to laugh through her nose. She also put her hand over her mouth and nose to stifle the sound.

"I just can't be!"

Maleficent had to turn her head away as she winced in an attempt to keep her laughter stifled. She felt she was losing control and at any moment would burst out laughing. But that was inevitable as Medusa dished out the coup de gras.

"Diaval, it was you," Medusa said, "It was loud and and clear. But not only did I hear the sound come from your behind, but I saw a green puff shoot out. It must have been a real bad one if I could see it."

Just then Maleficent burst out laughing and everyone turned to her to see her leaning on her staff with both of her hands and cackling like a hen.

Medusa and Aurora at first looked surprised, but then joined right in laughing.

"Godmother! Awww, you look amazing like that," Aurora said.

"Really?" Maleficent gasped.

Suddenly the look of shock and fright dissolved from Diaval's face as he looked to his lover of whom was now holding her stomach as she laughed. He narrowed his eyes and said, "I believe you had something to do with this?"

Maleficent shook her head between laughs admitting her involvement and she said, "Oh Diaval, you ARE right, it is much funnier when the joke is on the other person. Touche'."

Diaval just smiled as he watched Maleficent laugh. He then said, "Aurora's right, you do look amazing when you laugh. Even if the joke is on me, it is nice to see you laugh."

Maleficent soon regained composure and said, "Well, I gave what you said some thought and I know I come off as such a stuffed pepper...I just want to show I am a proper lady. I have a kingdom to run now."

"My love, you are the epitome of an elegant woman, there is no denying that and I know that better than anyone. But even royals need to have a good laugh every now and then. So I am glad to see you had yours now."

"Oh, Diaval. Still the gentleman even though I embarrassed you in front of all of us," Maleficent said. "Well spoken, and thank you for the kind comment."

After Medusa calmed down she said, "Diaval, you had nearly the same look on your face when Maleficent first sat down in that throne. It was that look of shock and when Maleficent said, 'That's not what it seems to be,' that set me off. Then afterwards...the throne kept making noises as Maleficent moved and that was it, I just lost it."

Maleficent turned to Medusa and said, "I must say Medusa, I have not seen someone laugh that hard in ages."

"Oh, my sides and my stomach are still hurting, my friend. Although with my stomach, it could be because I am very hungry."

"Well, once we get to the heart of the Moors we can gather up some items to make ourselves a nice salad," Maleficent said.

"Can we do a soup since it is getting cold?" Medusa asked.

Everyone also shook their heads in agreement.

"Very well then, a soup it is." Maleficent said.

As they continued their walk back to the Rowan Tree, the sun was getting low in the sky. They had to work fast to collect the items they needed for dinner. There were water faeries in a pond nearby that noticed the four of them gathering items. Some of helped them out while others put on a short little water ballet for Medusa in the pond. Both Medusa and Aurora marveled at their work.

"I tell you I was so amazed when I first saw them. I knew then I wanted to stay here and live in the Moors with my Godmother." Aurora said to Medusa. "Godmother made me my own room in her house at the Rowan Tree, but practically overnight I had a castle and I only slept in it once."

"I am sorry, Beastie. It is just events took a different turn on that fateful night. However, I am thinking that once I am able to fly back and forth between my home and the castle, perhaps I can arrange for you to have a reprieve and you can stay a night or two a week at my place, while Diaval and I will watch the castle.

"Oh that would be great!" Aurora exclaimed.

Diaval came back with the water faeries and said, "I think we have enough materials and ingredients to make the soup.

"Splendid! Final stop on the tour, my home!" Maleficent announced.

They arrived at the Rowan Tree just as the sun was dipping below the tops of the trees. Medusa marveled at the size of the tree and the immense diameter of it's trunk. The huge root structure and how it provided a nice strong support for the base of Maleficent's home just made the tree even more grand."

"I don't think I have ever seen a tree that big in my life," Medusa said looking up as far as she could.

"It is the tallest tree in the Moors," Maleficent added.

"It's so beautiful and magnificent!"

Medusa kept going on about how wonderful the Rowan Tree was, but Maleficent quickly brought everyone inside and chased everyone up to the bedroom.

"I am sorry to rush everyone up here, but it gets darker earlier now that the winter is approaching and I am just glad we made it back in time so you can see this," Maleficent said.

She waved her right hand and with a green wisp the roof opened up.

"I wanted you to see the sunset from up here. It is one of the nicest things about living here."

All four of them looked out the opened window and roof and watched the sun go down. Medusa was riveted to the sun as she watched it descend passed the trees and soon dipping below the horizon.

"It's beautiful!" Medusa said, "And your bedroom is beautiful...the whole tree is beautiful."

"Thank you, Medusa. You know with all the glamor and glitz in the world, sometimes the warm cozy feeling of a simple home built into a tree is all one really needs. And, well, I grew up in this tree so it always will be my true home." Maleficent said.

"That's so sweet!"

"Well I am going to go below and make dinner with Diaval. Aurora will show you the rest of the tree."

The soup was good and filling. It was the perfect pick for dinner on a cool night. Unlike the day which was nice and warm, as soon as the sun set, it started to cool off drastically.

"I think we are in for a cold one tonight," Maleficent said.

"So where are we all going to sleep?" Aurora asked.

"Well like I said, earlier, I can sleep in my nest, so Medusa and Maleficent could sleep together in her bed and you have your room," Diaval said.

Maleficent then said, "No, I don't like that, I don't want you sleeping in your small nest alone. I think it is better that we pair up to keep warm. I will sleep with you in the top nest since I have my wings to keep us warm. Aurora and Medusa can sleep together in my bed.

"Well, as long as I am sleeping with someone as I can't sleep alone without a large stone or some source of heat nearby," Medusa said.

"No. I wanted it to be like our sleepovers, all four of us together."

Maleficent's eyes widened at the young queen's suggestion, "Beastie, the most that can sleep together is three and that is in the top nest. There isn't a single bed in this house that will permit four people laying flat, so my suggestion is to sleep two and two as I have mentioned."

"Look I don't want to be an inconvenience," Medusa said, perhaps you could have Diaval drop me off at the castle. Then the three of you would have enough room."

"No, I want to have everyone together, including you." Aurora said. "I want to talk for a bit before sleeping."

"There is another option Aurora," Diaval said. "We could all sit together in the top nest and talk until we get tired and I guess once you fall asleep I will have Maleficent turn me back into my normal self, but I will stay up here with everyone. Then everyone will fit.

"Yes, that does sound nice," Maleficent said. "Alright, everyone grab a pillow and a blanket."

With the exception of Maleficent, of whom only took a pillow, all of them took a pillow and a blanket and made their way up to the top most nest in the tree.

"Wow! It is pretty big up here!" Medusa exclaimed. "The view is wonderful!"

"Yes it is. I still think everyone can sleep up here together," Aurora said.

Diaval turned to Medusa and said, "Maleficent and I were working on improving the Rowan tree and intended to enclose the top nest much like the one below, but with recent events, we didn't get a chance to do so."

"Oh, I wish it were summer, I would sleep up here every night. But even now it is still beautiful. You were right, my friend, I do love your Moors," Medusa said.

After a nice long chat about recent events, Maleficent noticed that Aurora was starting to nod off. She slowly leaned to one side and Maleficent carefully laid her down and pulled her blanket over her.

"Well, I guess it is time then," Diaval said.

Maleficent nodded and said, "Good night Diaval, my love."

"Goodnight, my dear," Diaval said.

They kissed for a short moment and then with a yellow wisp from her hand, Diaval was his raven self. He hopped around on the down floor of the nest and made his way up to Maleficent's pillow and nestled in.

"That's good Diaval, stay up by the pillow. The last thing I need is someone to roll over on you."

Diaval made a soft caw as not to wake Aurora up. Maleficent laid down on her stomach and crossed her arms under her chin. She placed her right wing over Aurora. She then lifted her left wing.

"Medusa, cover yourself up with the blanket and come under my wing."

"Awwww, you are so sweet," Medusa said as she curled up under Maleficent's wing.

Maleficent covered her with her wing and looked as Medusa smiled as she nestled in. Her snakes curled up close to her head. She then moved really close to Maleficent and then draped her arm over her shoulders. Maleficent cringed and was ready to say something but her thought was interrupted.

"I know you probably will not like this but..." Medusa said in as soft and sweet sounding voice as she reached over and gave Maleficent a kiss on the cheek. She then said, "You are the bestest friend in the whole world. Thank you for such a wonderful day."

Maleficent once again felt that feeling that she normally gets when someone touches her. But after the beautiful words Medusa spoken, she didn't feel it was her place to say something. She just hoped that soon she would realize and remove her arm on her own.

"You're welcome, my friend," Maleficent said.

After a while she felt another arm drape around her waist and a soft pair of lips kiss her on the arm and a soft voice saying, "Goodnight Godmother."

"Good night, Beastie."

After a while of feeling uneasy, Maleficent tried to shake her body, but neither of the two ladies budged. She looked up to Diaval and he was bobbing his head up and down and making a 'chucking' sound.

"Go ahead and laugh it up...I am being smothered," she whispered.

Diaval hopped over and on to her back.

"Oh, you too?"

He made a purring like sound and leaned over and started to rub his head vigorously against her cheekbone.

"Hmmmm, that feels nice, mine sweet. You always know how to make me feel better."

Diaval kept rubbing until Maleficent closed her eyes. He then hopped back to where was and nestled down on top of Maleficent's pillow. He then felt a gentle hand start to rub his back and wings. He had thought Maleficent had gone to sleep, but she was still awake. He figured she probably was feeling uncomfortable with the ladies arms around her. He let out two gentle caws and that startled the two. Medusa turned to lay on her back and Aurora turned to her other side, pulling Maleficent's wing up to her chin.

Maleficent just smiled but didn't say anything. She just kept rubbing his back, but softer and gentler. It wasn't long before the good feeling put him to sleep.

The next day everyone had breakfast together inside Maleficent's house. They were talking about Dragon Claw and their 'laugh fest'. Even Maleficent was joining in the laughter. Medusa kept bringing up the castle and wanting to fix it up, like a child would pester it's mom for a new toy.

"Alright, Medusa, I tell you what, if you come up with a good use for that castle then you are more than welcome to borrow some help from the stone faeries and fix the place up. However, in the meantime you can go to the castle with Sir Joseph later on in the week and fix the support structure so that the castle is no longer in danger of collapsing."

"Oh, thank you, my friend. It does mean a lot to me."

After breakfast everyone went back to Castle Malora. Diaval had to make two trips, one to bring Medusa back to the castle, and another to bring Maleficent and Aurora. Robin greeted them the second time. Diaval explained how their day went yesterday in regards to Medusa's tour of the Moors and their adventure at Dragon Claw castle.

"So, Medusa wants to fix that old heap of rubble up, huh?" Robin asked.

"Yes, but Maleficent will only allow her to do so if she finds a good use for the place."

"Perhaps you and I could come up with some ideas for her? She really is enamored with the place and I think she wants to live there."

"Well, give me a moment to think about it. But one thing that comes to mind is perhaps a winter retreat for the fae...a home to go to when it gets really cold outside. Medusa could put some nice hot baths in the place. She could make it a haven for the fae."

"That is a good idea. You tell her since it was your idea anyway."

"Well, we would have to talk it over in more detail later on"

The two ended up talking for a while outside on the terrace. Diaval mainly got him up to speed on anything that he missed while he was out cold, but the temperature started to drop and became too cool outside. They both skipped lunch and were now feeling hungry. The two went back inside to the castle's cafe where normally most of the royal servants, soldiers, and other castle guests would eat. As he and Robin entered the cafe, they turned quite a few heads. Unlike the upper parts of the castle, the cafe was more drab and had a more rustic look to it with wagon wheel chandeliers, round tables with four to six chairs around each. The far end of the cafe was a small bar and along the wall adjacent to the bar were half rounded booths also with round tables. In the booth closest to the bar, Diaval noticed Sir Joseph, and Medusa sitting and chatting. It looked like they were eating soup and having something to drink when Diaval and Robin Joined them. As they came over they greeted one another. Sir Joseph invited them to sit down. Diaval sat next to Medusa's left and Robin sat down on the edge of the table near Diaval.

"Fancy finding you both in here." Sir Joseph said.

"We both missed lunch while we were talking on the terrace," Robin said.

"Well, you really didn't miss lunch as there wasn't a formal lunch today. The ladies were busy too and had lunch set up to Queen Aurora's room. So we ended up down here for a bite to eat." Sir Joseph explained.

"That's odd, it is not like Maleficent to forget about us."

Diaval shrugged his shoulders as he took a seat next to Medusa. Robin sat at the edge of the table near Sir Joseph.

Medusa wore another fairly light two piece outfit. The top was a green and gold trimmed cap sleeved choli tie top with beaded tassels. It mainly showed off her arms and it had an open midsection that the beads covered. The cap sleeves were ruffed very much like Maleficent's riding dress. She had a matching miniskirt as well. The whole outfit made her look more cute than elegant. Sir Joseph was constantly looking at her and smiling. Diaval and Sir Joseph were both wearing a similar vest with a poofy top. Sir Joseph's was a brown vest with a white top, Diaval was wearing a black vest with a blue top. Diaval's outfit was more ordained with trim. He noticed that every now and then people would turn to look at him and realized that his blue colored outfit may be the reason...either that or perhaps they were looking at his scars. Still the constant stares was making him feel uncomfortable."

"So what are you guys having?" Robin asked.

"Soup and brandy," Medusa said. "The brandy is nice as it warms you up!"

"Does it really warm you up?" Diaval asked Medusa and then shifted his eyes to Sir Joseph as if he was asking both.

"Oh, sure! If only temporarily." Sir Joseph answered. "Rum has the same effect, but not as intense as Brandy. Don't you recall that night when you were drinking the rum?"

"No, I don't remember much from that night. I do remember finding the drinks and then later on Maleficent waking me up."

"Ahhhh, I see," Robin said as he waved to the waitress on duty. "Yep, alcohol can make one forget. Let me order you a reminder."

"Robin, I am not supposed to drink anything with alcohol in it, Maleficent says it is bad since I am a bird."

"He's right, Robin," Sir Joseph said, "Maleficent had given me a direct order not to let him drink anything with alcohol in it. You were there, don't you remember what happened?"

"Well, I thought perhaps just a little bit wouldn't hurt."

"No, I can't allow it, he got drunk pretty fast that night," Sir Joseph said. "It took me by surprise as I never seen a guy get drunk that fast."

"I see, well, we don't want to be making M'lady angry." Robin said.

"No, we don't." Sir Joseph agreed.

When the waitress appeared Robin put his and Diaval's order in for soup, a non alcoholic cider for Diaval and an ale for himself. Moments later she came back with their order. Just then a couple of the woman servants came up from a table in the back and they were giggling. They obviously had a bit much to drink. But for servants the two ladies were dressed very nicely with chemise and overdresses, both ladies chemises were very white and off shoulder. The sleeves were bell sleeves that were split at the elbow and they hung down past the their waist line. One had on a deep orange, almost red colored over dress and the other a light green one. Both dresses had corset ties in the bodice area and had nice embroidered designs, not typical of a servants outfit, but closer to that of a noble-woman's dress. Outside of the color they were nearly identical.

"It IS you! M'lord!" The lady in orange said as they both bowed before Diaval and then to everyone else.

Everyone looked at one another dumbfounded, none more shocked than Diaval as the two ladies were mainly looking at him up and down. All started to stand up.

"I am sorry, m'ladies, but should I know you?" Diaval asked.

"Oh, I am sorry, I am Isabella, but you can call me Bella for short." The woman in the orange dress exclaimed.

Just as soon as Isabella introduced herself, her friend in the green overdress jumped in and said, "I am Dorothy, but you can call me Dory for short."

"Good day ladies, I am Diaval and..." Diaval said but he was interrupted by Isabella.

"Yes, I know, I know," she said excitedly.

Diaval wasn't too happy about being interrupted and thus he continued to finish what he wanted to say, "And these are my good friends Robin, Medusa and you probably already know Sir Joseph."

"Sir's, Madam" The ladies curtsied.

"Hmmmm, the one in orange, Bella, looks a bit familiar," Sir Joseph said and then turned to Dory, "But I am sorry Ma'am, I don't recall seeing you before."

"It's OK. I am kind of new to working in the castle. I do know who you are though, Sir Joseph" Dory said bowing a little.

Robin bowed before the ladies as he hovered in mid air, "Welcome, m'ladies."

"Now then, once again, should I know the both of you?" Diaval asked again.

Bella looked at Dory and decided to say something first, "Well, you might have seen me as I work directly with Queen Aurora. I help her set up her room for when she designs new outfits. I just make sure everything is in place for her. It is really exciting to work directly with the queen."

"I am sorry, I don't recall," Diaval said.

"Oh, yes, now I remember Queen Aurora saying that that she replaced Matilda when she left," Sir Joseph recalled." Sir Joseph said taking another sip from his ale.

"Ladies, if we are going to talk why don't you join us and take a seat?" Robin said taking a sip from his ale.

"Oh Yes! I would be delighted," Bella said as she plopped herself down next to Diaval's left side.

"Me too!" Dory said as she sat down next Sir Joseph's right side.

Diaval noticed that Isabella sat down really close next to him and thus he was forced to sit really close to Medusa. Their arms sometimes rubbed his as they moved. But being a gentleman he didn't say anything. Bella was a tall woman, but not quite as tall as Maleficent. She had a pretty face and her build was not slim as Maleficent's, she was even larger than Medusa in the hips. She had nice curvature going into her waist which was about the size of Medusa's. Her upper body was large. She had large breasts and fairly large arms, but judging by her shoulders, and her collarbones, which were faintly visible, she wasn't toned like Medusa or even Maleficent. She just had nice good sized arms. Overall her dimensions gave her a very pronounced hourglass shape. She had very wavy auburn hair, which she had the sides clipped back. Her hair went down to just a little past her shoulders. She was very much an attractive woman.

"You are amazing!" Bella said to Medusa as she sat down. "I have never seen anyone that looks like you before."

"Thank You," Medusa softly said, "I know I am quite different. I just hope I am not hard on the eyes."

"Oh no! You do have a very pretty face and your body is fantastic. I love your waistline. I want abs like that."

Medusa laughed and said, "Why thank you. Your dress is very beautiful and you have a nice shape yourself." She then took a sip from her drink as well.

"Thank You."

"You are also amazing," Dory said to Robin.

"Me? Oh, no, I am not that amazing. Just a 'regular' fairy," Robin said as he made quote marks with his fingers when he said regular.

"You can do magic right?" Dory asked.

"Certainly," Robin answered.

"Well that is amazing in itself and you can fly. Humans can't do those things"

Robin shook his head and said, "Alright I see your point, thank you for the compliment."

Diaval couldn't help but notice that now sitting shoulder to shoulder with Medusa, how large her arm really was. He kept looking down her arm and comparing it's size to his. She was nearly, but not quite as large as he was. Bella was also a large woman, not as fit as Medusa but she certainly had broad and wide shoulders for a woman. He felt funny being sandwiched in between the two broad shouldered women.

"Also I never seen a fairy up close before," Dory said.

"Medusa is also a part faerie," Diaval said.

"Really, M'lord?" Dory said.

"I am part faerie actually. My magic isn't like what Maleficent or Robin has, but I can do some Magic," Medusa said. "Just healing and manipulating stone."

"I am not a lord," Diaval said.

"But you are a royal, that is how I know you as I often see you with her highness and also her excellency, Maleficent. I guess you are her advisor or something like that?"

"Well, to the queen I guess you can say that, but I am much more than that to Maleficent."

"Oh? How so?" Dory asked.

"Well, I am in love her." Diaval answered. "We are mates."

"Oh, poo! You are taken then," Bella said pouting.

"Sorry to disappoint. But yes, Maleficent is my true love."

"Awww, that is why you two are always together," Dory said.

"Well, I must say the new position has been great and the Queen is fabulous, she even made us these dresses," Bella said.

"Really?" Diaval said he started to take a closer look at Bella's dress and lifted up part of the sleeve that hung downward. He started to look at the neckline of the dress and suddenly I got thoughts of what Maleficent would look like in it. For some reason he just blurted out, "It is a beautiful dress and looks great on you. I especially love the color on this one it's almost red."

"Oh! Why thank you m'lord!" Bella nearly shouted as she started to put her hand on Diaval's shoulder and then ran it down his arm.

Diaval started to feel a bit uncomfortable by the gesture and pulled a bit away and leaned into Medusa more. She, in turn, leaned up against Sir Joseph. He just raised an eyebrow taking note of now Medusa's firm shoulder was now pressing up against his arm. Medusa noticed the raised eyebrow and countered with a smile and a raised eyebrow herself.

"Yes, thank you so much!" Dory said.

"Her majesty, Queen Aurora, certainly does fantastic work, she made mine too!" Medusa said excitedly as she held up her arms showing off her outfit."

Dory was immediately fixated on the size of Medusa's arms. "Wow! Madame, you do have some nicely toned arms. I take it you must work out often, huh?"

"Well, I am pretty good with a long bow and practice often. I also move large stones around quite a bit. Even though I can move them magically sometimes I don't mind using a bit of brute strength. After moving many around for a day, I can feel it in my arms and I liked that feeling, so I kept it up.

"How strong are you?" Bella asked.

"Well, in my arms I don't really don't know, as I said, I have picked up fairly large rocks. However, my tail is very strong and I can crush rock with it."

"Wow!" Dory exclaimed.

"Oh! I want to see something," Bella reached around and started to roll up Diaval's right sleeve.

"Easy Bella! What are you doing?" Diaval asked in a shocked tone.

"I want to see how big your arms are in comparison to Madame's"

Diaval suddenly cowered down and then let out a meek, "No. Why?"

"Oh come now," Bella said in a disappointed tone. She placed her hand on his shoulder softly.

"Actually, I would like to see this myself." Robin said.

Diaval knew he wasn't getting off the hook as now everyone except him had some brandy in them. "Alright, but I can roll up my own sleeve, thank you," he said to Bella.

Diaval unlaced and rolled his sleeve up to his shoulder and he placed his arm on the table next to Medusa's. His arm overall was definitely larger and more defined than hers, but her shoulders really came close to his size. They were wide indeed. With her arm out away from her body, the point where her shoulders curved in and met her biceps was now very pronounced. Diaval was very impressed with her arm size and even a bit intimidated. To see developed arms like that on a man was one thing, but on a woman? He wasn't sure if he liked the look or not. For certain, it certainly was turning Sir Joseph on. He couldn't take his eyes off her arms. As with Maleficent though, Medusa did have quite a few veins running up and down her arms, especially on her forearms. But she did have one large vein that ran up her biceps and even up to the inside front of each shoulder where it branched out. Some of the smaller veins would come and go as her shoulder muscles flexed. While not as pronounced as her forearm veins, they were noticeable. He didn't have many veins himself and he knew Medusa had him beat there. He did resist the urge to touch them. Despite her nice veins, Medusa was lacking the one nice thick vein that Maleficent had on each of her forearms. Diaval thought about how nice it would be to run his fingers over his lover's vein's. He didn't know why he liked them so much, perhaps it was just the way the veins felt under his fingers. He suddenly wanted to be with Maleficent and course his fingers over her arms.

"Wow! Your arms sure are big!" Dory exclaimed.

"Hmmmm, Indeed," Robin said with a huge smile on his face.

Sir Joseph tried to get into the action and take some heat from Diaval. He rolled up his sleeve and started to show off his arm, "Hey ladies, check this out." he said.

Suddenly both women's eyes grew wide at the size of Sir Joseph's huge bicep. Dory even wanted to give his arm a touch, but then Medusa gave him a light punch in the arm and said, "Joe! Now you are flirting with the ladies."

"Naw, you know I wouldn't do that. I am really showing off for you," Sir Joseph said.

She gave him a seductive look and ran her fingers down his arm saying, "Nice save."

Medusa flexed the biceps on her other arm and placed it next to Sir Joseph's. Diaval noticed and that by comparison, her muscles looked much more feminine now. It did seem like the two were a natural match for each other. Sir Joseph was a large very built guy and it made sense that should have a woman of similar build. Diaval thought that next to him she was too large, but she fit perfectly with Sir Joseph, almost as if the two were meant for one another.

"Can you pick up, Sir Joseph?" Bella asked Medusa.

"Oh, no, that is doubtful. I am strong but Joe is certainly a large gentleman, but, I have not tried," Medusa replied.

"Then what about m'lord, Diaval?" Bella suggested taking a sip from her drink.

Diaval almost choked on his soup as he was taking a spoonful.

"No, Bella, really I am not up for that." Diaval said shaking his hand.

"What? Are you afraid?" Bella said in a taunting and teasing voice, "You afraid she can do it and that a woman is as strong as or even stronger than you?"

"No, of course not. I can assure you that when Maleficent is angry she is stronger than anyone here and Yes, I am fine with that."

"Really? Stronger than Medusa? I can't picture her being the strong type as she is so dainty, elegant and svelte," Dory said.

"Don't let her looks sway you, when angered or upset she gets VERY strong." Diaval said.

"He's telling the truth," Sir Joseph affirmed. "I have seen how strong she is in battle and in a few other instances, she is very much a formidable warrior. I can reassure you that you don't want to be on the receiving end when she is angry. It will not end well."

Diaval nodded in agreement.

"Oh, my, that was something I didn't know about her," Bella said and then turned to Medusa and said, "But I still want to see you pick m'lord up."

"You're putting Medusa on the spot, I mean really, what if she doesn't want to do it or can't pick me up," Diaval said.

Medusa then suddenly turned to Diaval, shifted her head on her neck side to side and said sternly, "Excuse me Sir Diaval?"

Diaval suddenly realized he just opened up a can of worms.

"Bella, if you may," Medusa said looking passed Diaval to Bella making a hand motion indicating for her to stand and allow Diaval and herself up from the table.

Bella got up from the table and put out her hand inviting Diaval to come out from the table. Diaval sat running his fingers through his hair in disbelief. Then Medusa gave him a nudge with her elbow. He then gave in and said, "Ok, OK. I'm going."

As soon as Diaval exited the booth Medusa slithered out and she whispered a bit to Diaval, "Ok, I have not tried this before, but I have an idea what to do, so work with me. Just put your arm around my neck and hold on to my opposite shoulder."

Diaval was a bit hesitant about putting his hand around her neck as he wasn't sure how her snakes would behave.

"Go ahead, I told you before they will not harm you."

Medusa's snakes looked at Diaval and automatically moved away from her neck. One of them even made a nodding motion that it was OK.

"That is so amazing!" Bella shouted. Clearly it seemed out of the two women that Bella was the one that was more comfortable around Medusa and even seemed very fascinated by her.

"It is," Sir Joseph agreed. "She's just an amazing woman."

"Joe!" Medusa called out, "You are going make my checks turn red. But thank you."

Medusa then looked back to Diaval.

"Oh, I hope I don't regret this," Diaval said.

"It will be over in a moment," Medusa reassured.

"You sure you can do this?" he asked one more time.

"Just watch me," she said in a confident tone. "I picked up rocks heavier than you."

Diaval put his arm around her neck and grabbed onto her shoulder. It was very thick and very firm.

"Ok now, hold on."

Diaval clearly was showing he wasn't comfortable with the situation and closed his eyes.

"No, no, keep them open," Medusa urged.

She stooped a bit down a bit lowering her tail. She put one arm around Diaval's back and the other arm she reached down and hooked behind his knees. In one swift move she just effortlessly swung his legs up and then raised her body up to about Sir Joseph's height.

Diaval took his other arm and swung it around and grabbed onto the lower part of Medusa's neck for balance. He could feel the movements of her muscles under her skin as she shifted her arm for a better hold. He became intimidated by her size and ability as she held on to him fast and wasn't even straining at all. Her arms were rigid and taught and not the least bit shaky. He could see that her bicep on the arm holding his legs up was bulging considerably. Her shoulder muscles were also very much flexed and prominent. In comparison to Maleficent she had many lines and indentations surrounding her shoulders. Some appeared and others disappeared when she moved her arms. Diaval was even thinking that much definition was a bit too much. Despite being more defined and larger, Diaval preferred the size and definition of Maleficent's shoulders. They were elegant and more feminine to him.

Everyone was clapping and cheering. This caught the attention of most in the room. Of course Robin's bellowing, 'Brava Brava' didn't help as that drew attention to others in the room and they looked on and joined in clapping. There were some that preferred to mind their own business and didn't pay attention what was going on in the far corner of the room.

Sir Joseph clapped loudly and said, "That's my lady!"

"I agree, you have befriended an extraordinary woman." Robin said and then continued. "And I owe that woman my life."

"You see, Diaval, my friend, I am not even breaking a sweat," Medusa said.

Diaval whispered, "Ok, you proved your point. You are very strong, now can please put me down now? I am sure if Maleficent would see this she wouldn't approve."

"Yeah, you're right about that. I shouldn't be doing this as her friend, she might get the wrong idea like the last time."

Diaval nodded in agreement as Medusa started to lean forward to put him down, she leaned too much and found she had to end up catching herself. As Diaval's feet hit the floor, Medusa leaned into him, knocking him into Bella. Bella in turn fell to the floor with Diaval following. He ended up landing on Bella planting his face right into her bossom.

"Oh, my! M'lord Diaval!" She laughed loudly.

Everyone else laughed along as well.

Diaval immediately picked his head up and jumped up. He then extended a hand to assist Bella up. "Oh! I am so sorry, M'lady. Such an unfortunate accident. Are you alright?"

"It's OK m'lord, I am fine and I don't mind," She said with a coy look on her face. She clearly was flirting a bit with Diaval. "I am built rather well too. It is going to take more than a little fall to hurt me. I have plenty padding," she said as she gave her rump a good slap. "The main thing is that I cushioned your fall and you didn't get hurt."

Dory, Robin and Medusa all said, "Awwww."

"Be very careful there, Bella," Sir Joseph said. "You certainly would be flirting with danger there. You wouldn't want to experience the wrath of Maleficent. You remember what we said earlier?"

"Agreed," Diaval said.

"I know, I know, but I would be lying if I didn't say that Diaval is certainly a handsome gentleman." Isabella said as she started to pout, "Her majesty was right, you are a such a nice guy. I want somebody like you."

Again there was another wave of Awwww's.

Dory then said, "Don't worry Bella, you will find a nice guy one day."

Suddenly Sir Joseph came up from behind Medusa and put one arm around her back and another just below the waist part of her tail hoisted her up as she put her arms around his large neck.

Everyone cheered and clapped. Diaval noticed that despite his size, Sir Joseph's arms were shaking a bit. The look on Sir Joseph's face was that of surprise. Apparently Medusa was much heavier than he thought.

Robin said, "Leave it to Sir Joseph to sweep a woman off her feet."

"Wait! I don't have any feet!" Medusa said a bit loudly.

Almost everyone in the room burst out laughing.

All of a sudden the smile left Robin's face as something on the ceiling caught is attention and he blurted out, "Oh, Sugar Honey Iced Tea!"

Everyone's head turned to Robin.

"What's the matter Robin?" Diaval said.

Robin nodded towards the ceiling. Everyone looked up to notice a glowing purplish orb that was strategically placed in the crux of the beams that were under the ceiling to the cafe.

"What is that?" Dory asked.

"Isn't that an eavesdropping sphere?" Medusa asked as Sir Joseph gently put her down.

"You are very smart as well as strong lass," Robin asked. "How do you know that?"

"Well, as you might recall my father was a wizard and when he wanted listen in on people he would conjure up a sphere that looks just like that. He could see and listen into what anyone was saying within several feet of the sphere. You can see it pulse when it picks up sound, that is how I knew what it was."

Just then the sphere suddenly disappeared.

"Uh, Oh! Whomever is on the other end of that sphere noticed we caught on," Medusa said.

"Who would want to be listening in on us?" Bella asked.

Diaval sat back down and held his head in his hands, "Take a wild guess."

"There is only one person in this castle that could conjure that up," Robin said.

"Who?" Bella said.

Robin said with a sigh, "Maleficent."

"I guess our little party is over then, huh?" Medusa asked.

"Aye lass, but this is not usual of her to invade someone's privacy...that is my job," Robin said jokingly.

Everyone smiled.

Diaval shook his head in agreement and said, "I have to get back to Maleficent at once. Even though we didn't do anything wrong, she might have taken something the wrong way."

Bella then said placing a hand on Diaval's shoulder, "Diaval, m'lord. I hope I didn't get you into any kind of trouble."

"I don't think so, but understand that Maleficent can get very jealous," he said.

Suddenly Bella's face turned pale. "Oh no, Oh no! If that was her, she will see that you were on top of me. She's going to kill me!" Bella said to Diaval starting to get hysterical.

"Relax Bella, it was an accident. Really I don't think we have anything to worry about as none of us were doing anything wrong," Diaval assured. "Still I am a bit shocked that my lady would do this. I never seen her use such a device before."

Bella realized that her and Dory were hanging out in the cafe for much too long and they had to get back to the queen, "Dory we have to go and get back to the queen. It is passed our time."

Everyone left the cafe together and then dispersed when they were out in the main hall. Sir Joseph and Medusa went to his quarters. Robin flew off in another direction.

Diaval, Bella and Dory were heading in the same direction, going to the royal floor. The two ladies needed to meet up with the Queen and Diaval wanted to find Maleficent. Just as they were approaching the main staircase a winged figure dropped from above with wings outstretched and landed somewhat hard on one knee at the base of the steps. She placed one hand down to steady herself. Diaval raised an eyebrow as he was both surprised and impressed, seeing for the first time, his woman making a landing. The position she ended up in on one knee and one hand out in front looked great to him. She folded her wings together as she stood up. Her eyes narrowed in his direction. He could tell she wasn't happy.

"Oh my, your excellency!" Bella exclaimed as she dropped to the floor and bowed.

"You are flying now, your grace?" Dory asked as she bowed.

"No, I just glided down. But funny you should mention flying," Maleficent said in a cool and stern voice and turned to Diaval. "Diaval, you and I were to meet so I can exercise my wings. I was waiting for you."

Diaval closed his eyes and had a shameful expression on his face as he completely lost track of time while he was in the cafe, "I am sorry, my dear, I truly had lost track of time."

"I am somewhat disappointed as you know I am anxious to return to flying and you know I need your assistance," she said, her voice sounded very taut and stern, exactly as it did when he was her servant.

"I am sorry, my dear. I..."

Maleficent glared at Diaval interrupting him as she raised her hand. Bella and Dory were still bowed.

"Arise ladies"

Both woman rose slowly and looked at Maleficent, Bella was clearly shaken.

Maleficent then shifted her glare downward at what the two ladies were wearing and said, "I see my goddaughter has made you both very beautiful dresses. You both look very pretty indeed, almost like noblewomen."

"Thank you, your excellency, yes they are beautiful," both ladies said together. "The Queen does excellent work."

Maleficent reached her hand out and took a hold of Bella's sleeve she had a look on her face as if she was fighting an anger that was swelling within.

"Indeed she does. Am I correct in assuming that Queen Aurora has not charged you for these dresses," Maleficent asked.

"No, she hasn't charged us. She has only asked that we put more time in to keep up with the new orders." Bella said her voice wavering.

"You will find the queen is a very generous and giving person." Maleficent said and then glanced back down to the sleeve she was holding. "This is very nice material."

"Yes, your excellency, she is, very kind and giving. If it wasn't for her kindness we would never been able to afford lovely dresses like this." Dory said.

"Then it is best not to take advantage of her generosity by not showing up on time when she requests your presence. She has been looking for you both."

"Yes, understood, we are sorry we are a bit behind our time."

"Apologize to the queen then, and don't let it happen again. I will not tolerate anyone taking advantage of my goddaughter's generosity. Do I make myself clear?"

"Yes, your excellency, crystal clear." both ladies replied.

"Good, now be off with you," Maleficent said.

Dory immediately started up the steps, but Bella let a sigh of relief and was about to open her mouth to say something but decided not to and turned to head up the steps behind Dory.

"Isabella is there something you want to say to me?" Maleficent bellowed out.

Isabella stopped and turned. She nervously twisted her fingers together. Her bottom lip quivered as she descended the steps. She looked as if she was about to cry. She took a hold of Maleficent's hand and kissed it saying, "Th...Th...Thank you for not harming me."

Maleficent had hung her head low and had a bit of a disgusted look on her face.

"Why would I do something like that, Isabella? Maleficent said. "You have not done anything that would cause harm to Malora or any of it's people."

"I just thought...well. I...in the cafe...well. I know that when you get angry you...well...I said some things that..." Bella said as she started to stammer.

"I would like to add, that isn't a nice thing to say to your superior," Maleficent interrupted. "I am not a sadist like your former ruler."

Dory slowly creeped down the steps behind Isabella.

"I...I can see that you are upset with me your excellency," Isabella stuttered. "D...Do you want me to leave town?"

"No, you have not don't anything to warrant that either, but there is one thing, Isabella."

"Yes, your excellency?"

"It goes without saying, but I am going to say it anyway. Flirt with any man you want, but Diaval is off limits. Understood?" Maleficent said gritting her teeth even though she was trying hard not to.

"Yes, your excellency." Bella said.

"Good."

"I am really sorry about that, I just he was so kind and such a gentleman and we had fun tal..." Bella rambled but was suddenly cut short.

"The Queen is waiting ladies," Maleficent said raising her voice as her stern look was becoming more angered.

Dory and Bella bowed before Maleficent before running up the steps nearly tripping in their long dresses.

Diaval stood leaning against the wall with his arms crossed across his chest. When Maleficent looked at him he said, "Did you really have to scare the crap out of her. She really didn't do anything."

"I saw enough, and I think I did well considering what I originally had planned for her," Maleficent said with a seething look on her face.

"That is another thing, an eavesdropping sphere? You really have trust issues don't you?" Diaval said now his voice was becoming stern.

Maleficent knew Diaval was upset, but also right. She started to calm down as she slumped down sitting on the steps. She crossed her arms on her legs.

"Truthfully, I used the sphere mainly to find you as you were passed your time, no one knew where you were," Maleficent said. "I became worried. I figure you went off with Robin somewhere and I used the sphere to scan the castle to find you, not to eavesdrop on you."

"I am sorry about that, it is just that I took a break with Robin since we missed lunch and we met up with Sir Joseph and Medusa, in the cafe. Then the ladies showed up and well, we just had too much fun and lost track of time," Diaval said.

Maleficent nodded and said, "As so I saw. But I didn't expect to find you with a bunch of ladies in the cafe having a party. So I started to listen in."

"I didn't have anything to drink if that is your concern, my love." Diaval asked.

"No, no. That I know. For the most part everything I saw seemed to be in order. I know that you didn't like Medusa picking you up and you falling on Bella was indeed an accident."

"Alright then, if you saw yourself that everything was OK, then how come you dropped down from above and looked at Bella like you were going to tear her heart out."

"Bella was flirting with you and I could just feel myself get heated up."

"Well, I wouldn't say, I thought she was just being nice and friendly. I didn't think otherwise of her actions." Diaval said. "However, both Sir Joseph and I warned her about that and she did stop."

"I know."

"So, then if we didn't do anything wrong, why do you seem upset?"

"Well the thing that got me was that you were checking her out saying that 'she looked good'. "

"Correction, my love, I checking her dress out, not her. As for the comment I was just being nice, nothing else."

"Oh. I guess I understand."

Maleficent got up and started to walk off up the steps. Diaval could tell something was wrong. She normally would blow up and get all hot and bothered in situations like this. But this time she was very calm and collect. She did seem upset, but not overly angry. Could it be that she was...what was that word again? Jealous?...Yeah that was it. Could she have been jealous again? Most likely that was it. Diaval chose to be quiet though because as of now Maleficent seemed to be calm about it. But why wouldn't she be. She asked her questions, got the answers and no wrong was done. Perhaps she was angry because he missed his time with her. Yes, that must be it.

"Wait? Do you still want to exercise your wings?" he asked.

"Not today anymore, Diaval. I am no longer in the mood."

Maleficent slowly made her way up the steps Diaval caught a glimpse of her face. She still looked upset and she was even biting her lower lip. She almost looked as if she was ready to cry. Diaval was hesitant on going after her, but he did run up the steps taking two at a time. He pulled himself up the banister and squeezed between the banister and Maleficent. She looked at him with a surprised look.

He then put his arms around her and drew close to her face. At first she started to resist and began to push him away. But then he looked her in the eye, her eyes were indeed glazed over.

"I am sorry I missed our time, really I am. You know I wouldn't miss something that important to you on purpose."

She then stopped resisting him and then he planted his lips on hers. Again, she tried to pull away grabbing his arms hard. But the soft suction against her lips immediately had a calming affect on her and he could tell that whatever was making her upset he was wicking away from her with his kiss. She let up on her grip and then she let go of his arms and wrapped her arms around him and allowed the kiss to deepen. Her embrace felt good. Diaval started to press his tongue into her mouth when she suddenly broke the kiss off.

"What's the matter?" Diaval asked.

"I am just not in the mood right now, Diaval, I am going to rest and then see Aurora later," she said in a soft voice. Something still seemed to be bothering her.

Diaval looked dumbfounded as his lover continued up the steps. At first he once again started after her, but then he figured doing it again might anger her, so he stopped. Right now she seemed calm so it was best to let her be. He sat down on the top step and put his hands on his knees puzzling over at what could be wrong. What was upsetting his woman?

While Diaval sulked on the top step, a red glow came up the stairway.

"You are still here?" A familiar voice asked. It was Robin.

"Hi Robin."

"And a hello to you my fine Sir." Robin replied. "Why are you here moping on the steps? I thought you were going flying with Maleficent."

"No, she didn't want to, she's not in the mood anymore."

Robin raised an eyebrow and said, "Is there something I missed?"

"Yeah, big time," Diaval said. "A strange situation."

Robin took a seat on the newel post as Diaval explained the whole scenario that played out on the stairway moments ago.

"So as I said a strange situation," Diaval said.

"Not so strange my friend."

"So you know why she seems upset?."

"Yep, she's got a jealous bone."

"A what?"

"She's just plain jealous."

"That thing again?"

"Apparently so," Robin said. "It is rare and odd that a faerie gets jealous, but then again when it comes to Maleficent...many things are different with her. She behaves more like a human and like humans she's very sensitive. But, I am amazed that you said she didn't explode in anger. That is her usual course of action."

"No she was very calm and collect and seemed very much in control."

"Hmmmm," Robin seemed deep in thought rubbing his chin. "She might be up to something and that I fear more than her just blowing up. Keep an eye out and let me know if you see any other changes in her behavior."

Diaval nodded in agreement.

"Hey! Sir Joseph told me that Medusa is going to teach one of the servants on how to oriental dance. I certainly wouldn't mind checking that out. I am sure Medusa is going to show off that impressive abdomen of hers. Want to come?"

"I don't think so, Robin. As it is I think I might be in enough hot water with Maleficent and besides, I don't think Sir Joseph is going to take to well to having to other men 'checking out' Medusa. I know for certain I wouldn't want a bunch of guys checking out Maleficent."

"Quite right then, lets just go back out on the terrace for a while, even though it is cool out it looks like we are going to have a nice evening," Robin said.

Diaval looked out the window by the landing and it was indeed nice out. He looked back down the hall and suddenly a feeing came over him. What he really wanted to do now was to be with his Maleficent and help her fly. Suddenly the feeling got to him and he could feel his eyes start to well up and his bottom lip began to quiver.

"Hey, hey, hey! Diaval, what's wrong?"

"Robin, I want to fly with Maleficent more than anything right now," Diaval's voice sounded like a child that had a favorite toy taken away.

"Easy, easy, my friend. Alright, I got you into this mess. If I didn't take you to the cafe you would be out there with Maleficent right now. Maybe I can have a talk with her."

Robin flew down the hall and Diaval heard the sound of a door opening and closing. But then came the wait. Time ticked on and Diaval was getting anxious and again he could feel the tears welling up within. The hallway was deserted Diaval turned and buried his head in his arm and began to weep.

Moments later Diaval felt a presence next to him. At first Diaval thought the presence was Robin, but then there wasn't the tell tale signature sound of his wings he grew to know when Robin approached. Instead a set of very long fingers wrapped themselves around his shoulder. He looked up and looked into his lover's eyes. They were much softer now and her face showed genuine concern.

"Diaval, I want to fly," she said in cool tone.

Diaval jumped up to his feet and tried to put a smile on his face whilst wiping his tears away. Maleficent grabbed her handkerchief out of her pocket and offered it to Diaval and he dried his eyes. As he did so he could see that his lover had cracked a smile.

When he was done wiping his tears he gave her handkerchief back.

"Can you see fine?" She asked.

"Yes, why?"

"Stairs? I don't want you falling down them now."

"Oh, yes."

Robin then flew up from behind and said, "Everything good?"

"Yes, Robin, thank you," Diaval said.

Robin said, "Well good evening and have fun at the cliff."

"Thank you," both Maleficent and Diaval said at the same time.

Robin then flew off.

After they flew to the cliff, Maleficent practiced low glides and landings by jumping off of Diaval's back and he would pick her up in the field below. They were not going very high as of yet. When they were done Maleficent changed Diaval back to his man form via his true form.

"Well, you seem to be doing well gliding and general wing movement, but we still have to build up your wing muscles and that will only happen by flapping," Diaval said.

Maleficent looked to the edge of the cliff and looked out. Like the last time she practiced flapping, she opened up her hands and a green wisp came out from her fingers. Immediately some root like branches shot up from the ground and wrapped themselves around her feet and hands. She then outstretched her wings and started to flap them, slowly at first but then slowly increasing. The resulting air draft was blowing dust all over, but soon the loose dust was gone. She was starting to get a bit of lift and the branches began to pull taut. After about a dozen good hard flaps, she could feel her muscles begin to ache and her breathing became heavy. Like the last time she slowed down and stopped.

"Damn it Diaval, I am so darn weak!"

"Well, your wing muscles have been dormant for 17 years, they are weak, but you yourself are not a weak woman. You are stronger than several men actually."

"I can't even get off the ground like this."

Diaval grabbed an apple from his pouch and took a bite.

Maleficent then had an idea, "Perhaps I need to get angry, maybe some of that adrenaline might help give me a boost."

"Don't you think we had enough of that today?" Diaval asked.

"Yes, but if I don't get angry I will not have the strength. I think the adrenaline surge through my wing muscles might get them going. More blood to the muscles, more strength, perhaps it will encourage growth."

"Well, you know I am too much of a gentleman to say anything bad or mean to you. BUT, I could say mean things but I will say up front that I don't really mean it. I know if I said an ostrich has a better chance of getting off the ground than you, you should know I don't mean it."

Maleficent burst out laughing and said, "An ostrich can't fly, so that analogy wouldn't work. Also being that I know you don't mean it, I will not be angered by it."

"True. Very true."

Diaval then switched gears and said, "Well, while I think of something perhaps let's talk about something else for a while."

"Okay" Maleficent said as she slowly moved her wings up and down as an occasional breeze would blow by them.

Diaval looked out over the cliff and sat down by the edge and said, "You know, I must say that I am surprised how Medusa gets by in the castle with those nice slinky outfits she wears. I thought it wasn't ladylike to expose so much skin or the legs in public."

"That is true, but I guess she gets away with it because she is only part human. Also she needs to have her tail exposed as that is her 'feet' so to speak. She can't wear shoes like we do."

"But what about her midriff? She nearly always shows her stomach off," Diaval asked.

"Well, she leaves that area exposed in the event she needs to warm up a rock or pole. She lays her stomach against it as that is what warms her up the fastest."

Diaval stepped forward and looked out over the cliff in front of him. Maleficent was facing his back.

Maleficent didn't respond.

Her grunting grew louder with each flap and soon the thinner branches around her feet began to give way and snapped. Her grip tightened on the thicker branches around her wrist and they started to splinter.

"Ok, OK, now. You better stop or you are likely to break..."

Diaval was interrupted when Maleficent gave one good twist with her wrists and the branches snapped and she was free. She rose a few feet off the ground when suddenly a gust of wind on an updraft blew her up and back into a tree behind her. She ended up slamming into the trunk of the tree square between her wings. She slid down the trunk and was grimacing in pain.

"Maleficent!" Diaval shouted as he ran to her.

"Diaval! Owww! It hurts! It hurts badly."

"Oh my! I hope your wings are OK," Diaval said with a worried tone in his voice. The first thing he did was look at her back. Both of her wings looked intact with nothing broken, but he noticed a bald spot just below her wings, right on her sweet spot. He figured that because that spot was sensitive to his touch, if it was struck it would hurt badly.

"I don't know, I have to scan myself, but these branches are so twisted around my wrists", She said.

Diaval came around and started to pull at the branches on one of her wrists, but it was held fast. Maleficent just took her other hand and effortlessly her fingernails dug into the bark and the wood creaked and groaned as she pulled off chunks of the branches with her bare hands. She then did the same to her other wrist. Diaval just looked on with his mouth hanging open in amazement as he watched as the same branch he dug at with his fingers wouldn't budge, but just crumbled under her fingernails.

"Wow! You never cease to amaze me with your strength."

Maleficent then scanned her back and said, "No, nothing is broken." She then released a bluish green wisp from her hand and healed the bruise on her back."

With a sigh of relief she said, "Ahhhhhh. That's better."

She then got up an without warning put her arm around Diaval's neck and bent down and scooped his legs up.

"Maleficent!"

Diaval looked in amazement at his lover's seemingly much thinner arms was able to pick him up just as effortlessly as Medusa. Her arms were not shaking at all.

"So, do you think I am strong as Medusa?"

"When you are angry, yes. I think you are probably the strongest humanoid being in this and the surrounding kingdoms."

"Do you find that trait appealing?" Maleficent asked.

"Yes, very much so."

He raised his eyebrow in that she did have an amazingly cute bicep and her shoulder muscles did curve in to meet her bicep. He could even see a faint vein forming along the length of her bicep. For some reason he felt different than when Medusa picked him up. Her arm just looked far more attractive than Medusa's. It was just the right size, her muscles felt much better under his hand. "You're right. I was stupid to ask you to make me angry, especially knowing how I get. This time I hurt myself, but I don't think I could forgive myself if I hurt you, mine sweet."

"You're not stupid. I could say the same thing for following along. It was just a bad call on both our parts. I think it is safe to say that we should stop for today and let you rest up," Diaval suggested.

"Yes, Diaval. Let's go home."

"I must say though, you certainly are getting stronger. You were able to snap those branches with your wings."

"It hurt like hell though," Maleficent said.

"But it was your determination. That is another thing I find very attractive in you."

"I am a warrior Diaval. Us warrior types don't give up easy."

"I am turned on by that too. You are my lady Maleficent, the Magnificent Fearless Warrior Leader of Malora."

"Oh! Say that again Diaval. I like the sound of that," Maleficent smiled.

"Madame Maleficent, the Magnificent Flying Fearless Warrior Leader of Malora."

"Oh, absolutely. That was the first thing I looked at, actually. All of the dresses are very open, especially in the midriff area. Very revealing stuff. I wouldn't think you would want me to make a dress for you from that book."

Maleficent had a surprised look on her face. It appeared that Aurora was one step ahead of her.

"Actually Aurora, I am very interested. In fact, I came here to ask you if you can make me a dress that is sexy and as revealing as possible, while still maintaining elegance and decency. Given Medusa's description of these dresses, I figure there might be one in that book I would like."

"Really, lots of exposure?" Aurora said with a stunned look on her face. However, the stunned look immediately dissolved into a smile.

"Yes, within reason mind you. While I want to look as beautiful as possible for Diaval, there are rules though: Keep my private areas...well private. I am fine with cutouts on the sides, but keep my navel covered. For the top of the skirt do not go any lower than here." Maleficent said as she pointed to where her hips started to curve out.

"As with other dresses only go down on my chest to where my cleavage starts," Maleficent said pointing to that place on her chest then suddenly she changed her mind and moved her finger down through her cleavage and said. "Well, in this case you can stop here. You can adorn the outfit with beads or stones of choice. For my arms, come up with something like you did for your coronation ball. I definitely want my shoulders, chest and collar bones exposed. Diaval seems to love those areas on me the most."

Aurora wanted to double check to make sure she wasn't hearing things. "Wait, Wait. Let me get this straight. My godmother, Maleficent, is actually asking for a sexy revealing dress? ...An oriental dancer's outfit? With a neckline that doesn't stop at your cleavage but goes through it."

"Yes, I am not extremely endowed in my chest and there is a good space between my beasts, so there will be good clearance for you to work with. However, I do want my navel covered and not be totally open in the front."

Aurora smiled as she grabbed the book and turned to a bookmarked page, the bookmark was labeled, 'Godmother'.

"Y...You already picked one out for me?" Maleficent stuttered with a baffled look on her face. "How did you know?"

"I didn't. I just leafed through that book and that dress just struck me as something beautiful for you, something I would have fun making for you, but I know how you are with exposure, so I dropped the idea. I still marked the page though. However, now I am just excited that you want me to make a dress like this for you."

Maleficent looked down to the page and her eyes widened, "Oh my! I do like this one, it looks very modern and edgy."

Aurora was surprised that Maleficent liked the dress as it had a good part of the upper body exposed. It had a plunging v-neck line that went well into the cleavage area. Passed it actually. The side cutouts were very broad too, a little too broad, but it went well with the flowing design. Aurora herself knew she was skirting the boundaries of decency with that design, but she mostly had the bedroom in mind and that this wasn't going to be a dress her godmother would roam around out in public with. The book shown a drawing of the back of the dress and the back was completely open save for a few straps near the top that went around the sides and shoulders. There was a high strap near the nape of the neck that tied the two sides together. The design was perfect for Maleficent as there were no obstructions for her wings. Her entire back below her wings would be open.

"In the context of decency, is this acceptable?" Maleficent asked.

"You...You mean you want to wear this out in public," Aurora said in a shocked tone.

"No not walking around outside...but I am thinking to wear it in the castle. But in the event I am seen, what would be the reaction?"

"Probably unfavorable, unless of course the dress was used in it's designed purpose, like if you were to wear it to an oriental dance show," Aurora informed and then added. "I could make a robe to go with it just in case you get cold and want to cover up."

"Yes, Aurora, that probably is a good idea. Maleficent said as she then looked over her wings and added, "See if there is something you can come up with to make my wings more attractive, I would like that too."

"Yes, Godmother, but may I ask if everything is OK with Diaval and yourself?" Aurora said with concern as she broke out her measuring tape and began to take down some measurements of Maleficent's wings.

"Yes, everything is fine," Maleficent cracked a small smile. "I am doing this for Diaval after all. I just want to look really hot for him."

"Oh! Ok!" Aurora said giggling.

"One more thing, Beastie, I would like the dress to have the ability to remove the skirt. I want the leg cut to arch this high underneath." Maleficent pointed right to the top of her leg.

"Removable skirt and cut that high?" Aurora questioned.

"Yes, I want it to double as a nightie."

"Very nice idea!" Aurora exclaimed. "One thing though, it is going to be interesting to pull off especially with the side cutouts. But I certainly will try to come up with something."

"Splendid! Oh, and with the skirt removed, do put in one of those discreet slits of yours. Access remember?"

Then it hit Aurora and everything became clear. She started to laugh and said in an amazed tone, "I never thought I would ever hear you give me those kind of instructions for a dress, can I ask why?"

"Well, if you must know I want to look as beautiful as possible for Diaval. In fact I even want you to do my hair different and I want to wear makeup. I want him look upon me as the most beautiful woman he'd ever laid eyes on."

"Godmother, he already thinks that of you, and you are naturally beautiful. Is there anything wrong?"

"Thank you Beastie, and no there isn't anything wrong. As I said, I want to be prettier, as attractive as possible."

"Prettier? Well it is going to be hard to top your natural beauty."

Maleficent looked past Aurora as she said in a stern tone, "Yeah, it's going to be hard alright. I want him really hard for me."

Aurora's eyes flew open with Maleficent's last line.

"Oh my! Godmother! This is not like you."

Aurora knew Maleficent never would say something like that, at least not openly without her prying. Yet, her Godmother for some reason felt the need to make herself more beautiful than she already was and she herself said she wanted to be sexy and prettier?! That was the odd part.

"About how long will it take to put together?" Maleficent asked.

"Well, the dress itself will go together very quickly, but the ornamentation will take a bit. I would say at least a few days."

"A few days. Hmmmmm." Maleficent said biting her lower lip.

"Well, I could get it done sooner, but that would mean stopping work on other projects."

"No, don't do that. We have to keep on schedule with paying orders." Maleficent said. "If you need help, I am more than willing to give you a hand."

"Well, if I work on this perhaps you could help me fill the order for the Duchess?"

"Of course," Maleficent said. "Thank you for doing this for me."

"It is my pleasure, Godmother. I love doing this for you."

Maleficent smiled as she got up and started towards the door. Suddenly she turned around and said, "Beastie! I got an idea and I think you will like this."

"Yes?"

"Let's host an oriental dance contest!"

Aurora's face beamed, "Really Godmother? Oh my! That sounds like a lot of fun!"

"I think it will be good entertainment for our people. Nobles and servants alike can enter. We can set up categories just what you did with the dresses on your coronation. The winners will be selected based on popular vote and will receive a cash price. I can talk to Medusa about music styles. Robin could act on her advice for the musicians."

"I love it, Godmother! But preparing for something like this on top of everything else that is going on will take some doing. It will certainly take me longer to make your dress if we are going to plan something like that. I am also sure there will be others that want me to make a dress for them as well."

"Understood. I will help you, of course."

"I am sure I can get Medusa to help out too as she already knows how to do the dances," Aurora said.

"Splendid. I will discuss the particulars with you later on. I do have to run for now," Maleficent said, then her voice became melancholy. "Good afternoon, Beastie and thank you."

"You are always welcome, Godmother. You know I would do anything for you."

Maleficent started for the door and she began to take to heart at what Aurora had just spoken. She turned around and looked at Aurora, of whose soft blue eyes looked deep into hers. Suddenly a feeling overcame her from within as she went over to Aurora, wrapped her arms around her and gave her a good hug.

"Oh my! Godmother, this is unexpected...but so sweet of you. Oh, thank you."

"No, I think it is time I thank you properly for everything you have been doing. I know being thrown into a position of a ruler of a kingdom practically overnight and not yet a fully grown adult isn't an easy task. You have chosen me to be your parental role model, so the least I can do is fill that role and be a good parent to you and acknowledge the good things you have been doing here for the kingdom and also for me personally."

"But you have been a good parent to me," Aurora said. "Well, you are very much welcome. And I do appreciate the hug," Aurora said. She let out a sigh and then questioned, "Are you sure everything is OK?"

Maleficent knew she had an unsure look on her face as she said, "Yes" anyway. She knew she rarely gave Aurora a hug and she knew that Aurora knew that as well as she had difficulty in letting go of her. When she was ready to pull away, Aurora would pull closer again. After the second time of trying to pull away, Aurora said those words again, "Please don't pull away yet. I love you, Godmother. I always will."

The words hit Maleficent hard as they seeped into her heart. Each time Aurora spoke them, they had more feeling and more weight to them. More and more Maleficent felt like a real mother to her growing Beastie. The once ugly baby she looked upon 16 years ago was evolving into a very smart and beautiful young woman. But yet this young woman still looked up to her for guidance and help. She looked to her as if she was the most important person in her life. The feeling that she was needed and loved began to overtake her and she could feel the tears well up on her eyes.

When they finally broke their embrace, Aurora could see that her godmother's eyes were heavily glistened over.

"Godmother, please tell me if there is something wrong."

"No, the only thing wrong is that I don't tell you enough that I love you," Maleficent said finding moment by moment growing more difficult to hold back her tears.

"That is OK, I know you show your love in other ways and it hard for you to say those words. But I know you love me, I can feel it. I have always felt it, as you were always there for me growing up. But thank you for the hug, it was very special and I enjoyed it very much."

"Well, let me let you get some sleep. Tomorrow is another day."

"Yes, have a good night, Godmother."

"You too, Beastie."

As Maleficent left her goddaughter's room and started to walk down the hall, suddenly she was just overcome with feelings and her eyes glistened over so much she couldn't walk anymore and she leaned up against a pillar that was in the middle of the hall. She found herself in the same position she was the very first night when Aurora said, "I love you", racked with emotion. She thought of everything the young woman has done for her and she couldn't help it. The tears came and she couldn't stop them. The only thing she tried to do is to keep her sobbing down to a minimum. She slowly slid down the pillar and curled her wings around herself. She pulled one of her wings over her face as if to hide from the world.

A few moments passed and suddenly a pair of arms forced their way into her solitary embrace and she wasn't alone any longer. Aurora put her arms around her Godmother's neck and just held on to her. Maleficent put her arms around her goddaughter and the two of them held one another that way at the base of the pillar for what seemed like an hour. It was only when they heard voices coming down the hall that the two of them got up quickly and hid behind a curtain that separated the sections of the hallway as if playing a mother / daughter team of hide and seek. It was just a few servants that were going from one hall to the next. When they passed by, both godmother and goddaughter released their held breaths at the same time.

"Thank you, my dear Aurora, I don't want anyone to see me like this." Maleficent said with heavy tear tracks running down her face.

"I know. That is why I hid you."

Maleficent smiled and said, "That's my Beastie."

A few days passed and it was the day of Queen Aurora's oriental dancing contest and she was making final checks in the ballroom. The ballroom had a different layout in which only two of the six tables would be used. Also seating at the tables was on one side only to offer a good view for all. The table settings were for royals and nobles only and key dignitaries of the fae folk. Passed the tables were a set of risers that ran the width of the center of the dance floor. This area was seating for the servants and soldiers of Malora. This left the large area between the main riser and tables for the dancers. The main raised area in front where the thrones were, was setup like a makeshift stage. There was a temporary facade made from curtains and it appeared that was where the dancers would be emerging from. The thrones were placed off to the side.

Music was provided by the faeries as Queen Aurora wanted more of a Moors style beat for the dancers.
The décor of the ballroom was more of a Sheik's harem with many light sashes of cloth that were draped from one end of the hall to the other. Purple and gold was the main color scheme. This was also carried out on the table cloths and place settings for the royals and nobles.

Queen Aurora sighed.

"Is everything alright, your majesty?" Sir Joseph said.

"Oh, don't mind me. I just have a lot going on today. But yes the ballroom is fine, you and the staff did a wonderful job. I am just concerned that this goes over well."

"Well, if it is any reassurance, I can say many of my men are looking forward to this very much."

"Well, that is a given, with beautiful ladies in beautiful dresses, I think that would be a welcome sight to many a man's eye. But I am wondering how the ladies will react," Aurora said.

"Not sure about that one, your majesty. I never attended a oriental dance before, so I can't say."

"Well, I best be going, I have to work with my godmother right now."

"Until this afternoon then, your majesty."

"Yes, until then," Aurora replied.

Maleficent met up with Queen Aurora in her changing room. Aurora explained to her that coinciding the completion of the dress with the contest had it's challenges, but she did come through. She went on to say that they would be starting with her hair and makeup first. She sat her down at her vanity but was surprised that the mirror was removed.

"I want to surprise you when everything is done," the young queen said.

Maleficent nodded in acknowledgement.

"I had the chair fixed so it reclines. All you have to do is just sit back and let me do the work."

Aurora called in her servant and they got started on Maleficent's hair.

"All you have to do is close your eyes and relax, Godmother," Aurora said.

Her hair took awhile and from there they went to her makeup. This also took a while. Maleficent was getting anxious to know what her face looked like.

Finally when both where done, Aurora dismissed the servant and she went to the closet to pull out the dress.

"Oh, my Beastie! It's beautiful and also very revealing."

"It is what I showed you in the book, but I just added the jewels and trim. I also made some other changes that will come in handy for when you are alone with Diaval."

Maleficent grinned and said, "Access?"

"Oh, yeah. Definitely," Aurora said as she brought the dress over and let Maleficent touch it.

"Oh, my, the material is so smooth, like the gloves you made me."

"Yes, the entire upper part is the same material. It will hug your body but it also gives. From your hips to your chest the dress is made from this material and it will be on the clingy side, but very comfortable. I chose a deep purple for the color as it will match your makeup and also your dark hair, horns and wings." Aurora said and then leaned over and whispered, "Naturally, since it will be hard to take off without someone's help, you can make love in it."

"Oh, Aurora, you are always so thoughtful," Maleficent said as she put her hand over a section that was adorned with various beads made from stones.

"Medusa helped me too with making the stones with holes so I can easily sew them on."

"Is this part the only thing that will cover my stomach?" Maleficent asked.

"Yes, but as you asked, your navel will be covered."

"Wow, Beastie, this dress sure doesn't leave much to the imagination."

"Well, your legs will be covered and of course anything private still will be private, the best part is that you will drive Diaval nuts!"

Maleficent laughed and Aurora giggled along with her.

"Well, I must say I am very anxious to try it on," Maleficent said.

"Ok, let me help you into it."

Later on that afternoon just before the dance contest started...

"Diaval! Wait up a second!" Sir Joseph shouted.

"Oh, I thought you were already in the ballroom," Diaval said.

"No, I was late getting dressed. I was trying to calm Medusa down. She is not good around a lot of people and almost backed out of dancing in the show. It is so funny to see such a strong woman, all of a sudden, start to shake like a leaf, loaded with fright."

"I hope she doesn't freeze up on stage," Diaval said.

"I hope not either, I told her she didn't have go go through with it if she didn't want to, but she wanted to go ahead with it," Sir Joseph said,the look on his face changed to concern as he continued. "I put my hand on her chest to comfort her and the poor dear's heart was pounding so hard. When I removed my hand I was amazed at what I saw. Because she is so fit and has very little body fat, there was a small area near her sternum I could actually see was moving with her heartbeat."

"Wow, poor Medusa. Her heart literally wanted to beat out of her chest!"

"Yeah it felt that way. So I ended up giving her a long kiss thinking that would calm her down, but...

Diaval laughed as he inadvertently interrupted Sir Joseph, "Her heart beat faster and stronger, right?"

"Yeah, how did you know that?"

"It happened to me when I kissed Maleficent. Instead of calming me, my heart raced."

Sir Joseph smiled and said, "Say, where is Madame Maleficent anyway? I thought for certain that you would be escorting her to the contest."

"Yeah, she was supposed to be with me, but there were some last minute changes and she said she would be helping Aurora coordinate the contest," Diaval said.

"Ahhh, yes! There were some last minute changes. Due to my concern for Medusa, Aurora put me in the show, but not as a contestant but a stand in performer, just to be with Medusa to keep her calm. I also will be playing an instrument, the oboe."

"That sounds great and I guess that explains the different clothes you have on."

"Precisely."

"So I guess you are going to go in the back now?" Diaval asked.

"No, Medusa's act is one of the last ones to come out. So I can almost watch the whole show."

"You will be with Medusa then. Well, that is great!" Diaval exclaimed.

"Indeed it is. Alright then, so I guess it looks like we will be escorting each other then," Sir Joseph said as he put out his arm in jest.

The two just laughed and Diaval pushed his arm aside. They entered the ballroom together. They looked around the ballroom in awe.

"Even though I had a hand in putting it together I am amazed at how much it looks like a Turkish tent in here!" Sir Joseph said.

"Yeah, the ladies sure did a great job...even though I don't know what a Turkish tent supposed to look like," Diaval said.

Sir Joseph laughed and then changed the subject, "Robin is in the show, right?"

"Well, he is not 'in' the show actually, but rather he is the lead drummer in the band," Diaval said.

They sat down at the royal table. Across the way at the other table table was were most of the fae dignitaries were. Diaval could see the Knotgrass and Flittle were situated close to the head of the table, but Thistletwit was no where in sight. Diaval asked of her whereabouts and Sir Joseph confirmed that Aurora stated that she will be in the show dancing, but amazingly in her human form.

The band was composed of faeries and other creatures of the moors. Some of the instruments looked strange and unfamiliar. Robin was helping to get everything in tune.

Diaval turned to look at the seating area and he said, "My there are an awful lot of men here tonight, very few ladies."

Sir Joseph replied, "That's probably because either the men have their woman in the contest or ladies don't fancy seeing other ladies gyrating their hips."

The two laughed and then Sir Joseph said, "I have to warn you, Diaval, the dresses some of these ladies will be wearing are very revealing. So you have to be careful not to get excited...if you know what I mean."

"I should be OK. Maleficent is not in the contest and that would be the only woman I would have to worry about."

"Really? You don't find other women attractive."

"Oh yes, I do find other women attractive, but Maleficent is really the only one that the attraction is so strong that...well, it causes me to..," Diaval explained with a bit of distress on his face as he nodded down to his private area.

"Easy there, don't sweat it, I know what you mean. Wow you really are a dedicated lover," Sir Joseph said.

Before Diaval could respond further, the men were joined by Prince Philip of whom sat down next to Diaval at the nearest end of the table. He greeted the gentleman and they greeted him back. But before they could talk further, Sir Kenneth came up on the front stage with a parchment in hand.

Sir Joseph couldn't resist the opportunity to crack a joke, "Oh! So you are in the contest Kenneth? Let's see you move those hips."

The group of mostly men in the vicinity began to laugh.

"Har! Har! Very funny, Sir Joseph", he said before stepping forward to the audience and announced. "Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you, her highness, Queen Aurora!"

There was a wave of applause as, Queen Aurora emerged from behind the curtain. Sir Kenneth moved to the side and bowed. She was dressed in a red and orange oriental dress that reflected the theme. It was very open in the neckline and it had long sheer bell sleeves. The dress was made to look like an oriental dancers dress but in place of an open midriff there was a tan panel between the bodice and skirt. The bodice was cut pretty low, but only exposed her chest area. It was adorned with many beads. There were fringes that hung down from the bodice and in front of the tan panel in a wave like pattern. She wore a belt that had fringes of beads and coins attached to them. She wore a matching crown with a veil attached to it, the coins and beads formed a 'v' shape on her forehead. The veil was orange and sheer and draped down her back and over her shoulders. The skirt to the dress was very flowing and fell straight down her body, elongating it.

Prince Philip swallowed hard and his voice cracked a bit as he spoke, "My she's so beautiful. Does anyone know if she is going to dance?"

"Beats me," Sir Joseph said shrugging his shoulders.

Diaval noticed that the young prince had to 'adjust himself' almost on sight of Queen Aurora. He feared that should Sir Joseph would notice, he might make some kind of wise crack. Diaval just leaned forward to block his view. As Queen Aurora started to make her announcements he could tell that Prince Philip was getting a bit uncomfortable.

Queen Aurora opened the contest by explaining the origins of the oriental dance in countries such as Turkey and Egypt. She explained the contest would be judged by the audience and that a parchment ballot would be handed out for those to right the names down of the contestants in each category. She then announced the categories as the servants started to pass out the ballots. The categories were: best dance routine, best use of body movements, most beautiful dance costume, and of course Aurora had to throw in, sexiest costume. There were some Ooohs and Ahhhs among the crowd with the last category. Some of the older women threw open their fans...even though it was rather cool in the ballroom.

Just as Aurora was ready to start, someone raised their hand in the audience and Aurora allowed them to speak. A younger gentleman stood up, bowed and said, "Are you going to dance in the contest, your majesty."

Sir Joseph whispered to Diaval, "Well, it looks like we are going to get our answer, now."

Diaval nodded.

"No, I am afraid not, sir, I am not participating in the contest mainly because, I am hosting it. BUT, I might be swinging and swaying my hips a bit every now and then, particularly later in the group dance," Aurora said with her usual bright smile.

There was some cheers among the men. Prince Philip swallowed hard and Diaval noticed.

"Why so the look of concern on your face?" Diaval asked.

Prince Philip whispered, "Wow! She's really beautiful. I think I am in trouble just looking at her in that dress. If Aurora dances, I will really be in trouble."

Sir Joseph overheard and said, "I hear you. I think we are all in the same boat with our women, some worse than others." He grimaced as he pointed to himself.

"For once I don't have to worry as Maleficent will not be in the show either and is coordinating back stage," Diaval said with a grin.

"Lucky you," Sir Joseph said.

"Yeah," Prince Philip nodded in agreement.

After Queen Aurora was done with her announcements she said, "Without further ado, let the contest begin! Hit it Robin!"

Queen Aurora threw her hands in the air and Robin slammed into a pulsing rhythmic beat. It was fast and had a groove to it. Aurora started to rock her body from side to side. The crowd began to clap. The whistle and lute players joined in shortly after. Finally odd sounding instruments entered the mix.

Soon several girls joined Aurora as they entered through the curtain and fanned out on stage. Queen Aurora improvised a little a bit as she placed her hands on her hips and started to gyrate them. Her sleeves hung straight down from her forearms. Diaval even raised an eyebrow at how beautiful Aurora looked and she moved rather well for a beginner. Diaval noticed that Prince Philip was fixated on Aurora's movements and it seemed like he didn't even blink. Even though Aurora's moves were a bit stiff he was getting the idea that what the dance involved. Aurora then put her hand on her hips and she turned around quickly causing her sleeves to swing outward. Once she fully turned around, Diaval saw that her back was nearly completely bare all the way down to her hips. Only a small strap ran across her shoulder blades and most of this was covered by her long wavy blond tresses. Diaval was looking at Prince Philip and he didn't seem like he was doing so good. He was swallowing hard and his forehead was glistening.

"My, it seems to be getting warm in here," Prince Philip said.

Sir Joseph laughed through is teeth and said, "No my good prince, I think it is just you. Here have a glass of water."

Sir Joseph poured a glass of water and asked Diaval to pass it down. As Diaval leaned over to hand the water to Prince Philip, he barely acknowledged his thank you as out of the corner of his eyes, he could see the young prince was indeed in trouble. Since he sat down, he had noticed the folds of his clothing near his crotch was substantially higher. Diaval pretended not to notice as he leaned forward to shield that area from Sir Joseph and any others.

Sir Joseph then said, "I must say, Prince Philip, you certainly are lucky to win over Queen Aurora, she is turning into a mighty fine young lady."

"Thank you, Sir. Yes, I agree, it seems as if she gets more beautiful as the days go by."

Sir Joseph nodded, "I see you are falling for her then."

"Yes, very much so."

Just then the group of dancers left the stage and Aurora took a seat in her throne which was placed to the side of the raised stage area She announced the individual contestants as now the girls came out individually and the contest had officially begun. When the first girl came out, she was wearing a very light outfit that had her mid section very open. Her skirt was high enough to cover her navel though. But as the beat changed to her number, her hips were swaying to and fro very quickly. Diaval's eyes flew open at the exotic looking movements.

Sir Joseph laughed and said, "Are you OK, Diaval? You look stunned."

"I didn't know a woman could move like that," Diaval said.

Sir Joseph burst out laughing and said, "Yes, they certainly have very flexible waistlines."

"I wonder if Maleficent could move like that," Diaval said.

"Oh, I am pretty sure she can. With a figure like hers she should be shoe in for this." Sir Joseph said.

Diaval still had a surprised look on his face as he looked out to the dancers and imagined Maleficent moving and gyrating her hips.

"Wow, that would be rather dangerous...for me that is," Diaval said softly as he swallowed hard.

"Indeed it would be," Sir Joseph laughed.

The dance numbers were not very long as there were many contestants. But when the fourth contestant came out, the beat shifted to a much slower rhythm. This dancer's movements were very slow and sultry. She was much taller than the other girls and her hips were very wide, but her waist was narrow. Diaval suddenly recognize the woman's body and even though she was wearing a veil he could tell it was Bella. Sir Joseph also knew who it was.

"Wow! She sure has some sexy moves," Sir Joseph commented.

Diaval looked from the corner of his eyes to see if Sir Joseph's crotch area was expanding, but it looked like he stayed calm. By now Prince Philip was doing better too. However, as Diaval looked out to the audience, many of the men were adjusting themselves, moving about in their seats. He even noticed that some of the wives that were with their husbands would slap them on the sleeve. All the women seemed to glance down while doing this action. Diaval tapped Sir Joseph on the sleeve and called his attention to the situation.

Sir Joseph giggled under his breath as he said, "I think they are all getting stiff."

Diaval smirked as he said, "I guess their wives don't like that, huh?"

Sir Joseph suddenly burst out laughing but quickly put his hand over his mouth. Luckily the current dancer's turn was done and much of his outburst was muffled by the applause.

Many dancers came out and an hour or so later, some of the fae folk came out and did their routines. There wasn't many that entered the contest. Thistletwit was among this group and she had chosen to be in human form. More than likely if she stayed her normal size, it would require quite a bit of flying around for everyone to see. While she couldn't fly as a human, she certainly was easier to see and since the body was the focal point of the dance, she decided to remain grounded and follow a more traditional oriental dance.

She was dressed in a beautiful green outfit which was laced in gold trim. Thusfar out of all the dancers, Thistletwit set the bar on most exposed skin. She wore a choli tie top that had cap sleeves and sheer flowing sash of material that was attached to the backsides of the sleeves. The sash attached to a bracelet on her wrist. Due to the nature of the tie top she was completely exposed from her neck, through her cleavage to the knot of the top's tie. From the tie point down to her waist her entire abdomen was exposed. She was one of the very few that chose to expose her navel. Only the tie portion of her top was dangling down over her navel, but it wasn't secured and moved about when she did. Her matching skirt was overall green, but had a gold center panel. It had an irregular hem and was more sheer towards the bottom. Her curly golden hair was teased out to way past her shoulders and it resembled a huge lion's mane that came to a point down her back, in which the lower section was completely exposed. She wore a similar crown circlet in her hair similar to that of Aurora, albeit less ornate. Her overall look was very different from when she last was human taking care of Aurora in the cottage. She was much prettier and sexier.

Prince Philip looked on with wide eyes, but then his eyes shifted to Aurora of whom was glaring straight at him. She wasn't happy that he was checking Thistletwit out. He mouthed 'sorry' to her and looked down.

Robin ended up dropping his drumsticks and this caught Diaval's attention. Diaval noticed that Robin had the same look on his face as Prince Philip, only his mouth was partially open. He too acknowledged that Thistletwit, as a human, was rather sexy and had an impressive midriff. She did have some faint lines outlining her abdomen, not as defined as his own Maleficent's but still pretty close. Her stomach was surprisingly very flat and thin actually curving inward slightly accenting her shape. She definitely had the perfect body for oriental dancing.

"Damn!" Sir Joseph said, "I didn't know that faerie had such a nice body underneath all those robes."

Diaval said, "I don't think Robin did either. He is still stunned and didn't pick up his drumsticks."

Sir Joseph looked and said, "Uh Oh, Uh Oh! I think it is love at first sight for Robin."

"Naw, he knew the three faerie's for years and never seemed interested in her, she is much younger than he is. Also, he never seemed interested in finding love again since his wife passed."

"Hmmm, that is not what I am seeing, my friend," Sir Joseph said. "He might like younger women."

Just then Sir Joseph and Diaval noticed that some of the women in the audience actually left the room at the sight of Thistletwit. One even was complaining how she 'exposes her self like that.'

Once they left the room, Thistletwit said aloud, "That was rude."

Almost all the men nodded in agreement and shook their heads. One fellow in the front row said, "I guess some people don't appreciate you as a beautiful example of the arts."

Others nodded in agreement.

"Oh! Why thank you, sir. Well I will try to do my very best," Thistletwit said.

She then turned to Robin and said, "Robin! Start it up! ...Please."

"Hmmmm? Oh! Yes, Quite right. Sorry," he said in a bumbling fashion as he flew down and retrieved his drumsticks. Immediately he started the number and Thistletwit started to gyrate her hips. Thistletwit's number was also a bit on the slow side. She wasn't as skilled as some of the other dancers and her movements weren't as strong or big, but they were very smooth. She was joined by six water faeries that assisted her with her number. During the song, with certain moves from her body, Robin skipped a beat every now and then. Diaval took notice and looked back to him. This even caught the attention of the other two pixies which sneered at him.

Sir Joseph noticed and said, "Told you, he's got it for Thistletwit. I can't blame him, she is rather...sexy. I must say, that is the type of outfit was what I was expecting Medusa to wear. Geez, if she wears something like that I will be in trouble."

"You don't know what she is wearing this afternoon?" Diaval asked.

"No, she practiced dancing using one of her own dresses. As it is that is the style of dress she normally wears anyway."

Diaval laughed as he said, "Sir Joseph?"

"Yes, Diaval?"

"If you haven't seen Medusa yet, what if you have the same reaction like those other men and you will be out there."

Suddenly Sir Joseph had a grim look on his face. He then said, "I think I am going to go back there right now just to be on the safe side. I might have to take 'measures'."

Diaval smiled as Sir Joseph got up and started for the door he turned around one more time and said, "Thank you, Diaval, I owe you one for this."

"No problem," Diaval said.

"What was that all about?" Prince Philip said turning back to see Sir Joseph practically run out the door.

"I was warning Sir Joseph that if he hadn't seen Medusa's outfit yet, he might end up like those men out there."

Both Diaval and Prince Philip looked out to the audience to see men adjusting themselves, more women slapping their men. One man on the outside row clearly had the form of something poking up from the inside of his pants. Some of the other folks at their table noticed too.

"Oh, my, I didn't know that this type of contest could be so dangerous," Prince Philip said. "I had my moments earlier when Aurora was on stage. Ummmm, thanks for 'covering me' before."

"Oh, you noticed that, huh? Well, it was no problem."

"Yeah, I appreciate that. If Sir Joseph saw it, who knows what he would have said."

"Understood. But the table also helped," Diaval said as he helped himself to some grapes that were laid out in a bowl in the middle of the table. He also took a drink of water.

Thistletwit's number was soon done and the next dancer that came out was Dory. She also had a slower number to dance to, but it was a bit faster than Thistletwit's. She did have a couple male partners which was allowed, but the partners only assisted in the routine and would not be judged. Her outfit wasn't as revealing and she only had a small portion of her midsection showing. For the most part only her shoulders and forearms were exposed. Her neckline was not very open. Her skirt seemed rather heavy looking for the style of dance. Despite the extra personal, Dory wasn't as good as some of the others. Diaval wondered how Medusa would do, since she had prior oriental dancing experience. In fact it was because of her book that the whole contest was possible in the first place.

After Dory's routine was done, Queen Aurora took front and center stage again and announced the next act.

"I am proud to announce this next woman is a personal friend to both myself and Madame Maleficent. She's an exotic lady that comes from far away to join us here in Malora and I personally think her looks are perfect for this contest and I am happy that she agreed to be a part of it given her shy nature. Ladies and Gentlemen, I give you Madame Medusa and her assistant Sir Joseph!"

Once again, as with any other type of event, the applause was very lukewarm when Medusa's name was mentioned. Aurora shot a glare out to the audience and made an upward motion with her hands. The applause did pick up a bit, but it still wasn't as strong as with the other performers.

Diaval and Prince Philip were among the loudest to clap and Aurora shot a smile off to their direction as they were setting a good example. She then turned to sit back down in her throne.

"You know that is down right mean," Diaval said angrily. "They seem to judge Medusa by her appearance only thinking she's a monster and she is really good woman with a beautiful heart."

Prince Philip nodded in agreement and said, "But not all of us humans think that way though. I know I find her a bit intimidating, but from what I seen she has a wonderful personality...and she is rather pretty."

"You are taking the time to get to know her. That is what these people need to do," Diaval said waving out to the crowd.

The music started up and it was a very slow beat. Four large soldiers entered the stage area. They were dressed in white baggy harem pants. Their top was bare with the exception of an open black vest. They all wore a red turban. They were carrying in a very large basket and placed it on the middle of the floor. They then proceeded to go down the steps and open the main doorway. Much to everyone's amazement Sir Joseph entered sitting on what appeared to be a flying carpet. Diaval noticed that, in addition the outfit he was wearing at the table, he now had a turban on his head that matched the soldiers, but it was larger and more ornate. He slowly flew once around the entire dance space and then appeared to hover just to the side and behind the large basket.

Sir Joseph then picked up his oboe which was resting in his legs. He began to play a very familiar snake charmers tune in time with Robin's beat. Suddenly the crowd began to clap but much louder than when the couple was introduced. Diaval looked to the crowd and they were all riveted to the stage.

"Now that's better!" He said.

The cover then flew off the basket with a loud pop which actually startled the crowd. Sir Joseph continued to play. Suddenly the head of a snake popped out over the rim of the basket and as it rose up, it swayed to and fro to the music. Soon another snake popped its head over the rim and another one. Some of the ladies in the audience cringed and one in the back actually got up and left out the back door screaming something about 'using live snakes'. Diaval just shook his head.

Finally behind the snakes came a pair of clasped hands that were faced back from one another and slowly they rose up to a beautiful tanned pair of arched arms. Once the elbows of the arms reached the rim, it looked like a bunch more snakes came up and were almost overflowing the rim, but instead they continued to rise up and a womans face and head emerged from under a scalp of snakes.

Medusa rose up out of the basket. She had markings of gold paint on her face. She continued to rise up and more of her outfit was revealed. Like with Thistletwit, her outfit was very revealing. The top was a criss cross halter choli that was beige in color and ran around her neck. The lighter beige offset the darker golden tan color of her skin. From the bottom of her sternum to her waist she was all exposed. She had a matching frilly short skirt which seemed to barely cling to her hips and a brown belt that had golden tassels of beads and coins that dangled from around her hips. When she moved her hips, the coins rattled in rhythm to the music. Her arms were mostly bare but had armlets that matched the rest of her outfit. The rear of the armlets had a short piece of cloth that dangled to just below her elbows. On top of the armlets were a golden arm bracelet. She also had a slave bracelet on each wrist which linked to an ornate ring on each of her middle fingers. Due to the halter nature of her top, she had more of her shoulders exposed than anyone else. As she moved her arms, the muscles beneath her shoulders rippled and many contours and fine lines appeared and disappeared.

Once again the crowd clapped, but this time they were much more enthusiastic. Diaval and joined in and clapped really hard, clearly the loudest of everyone.

"Now that's more like it," Diaval said rather loudly.

This caught Medusa's attention and the two found themselves looking straight at each other. Even though she was smiling, she had a very nervous look on her face. Diaval made a motion with his two fingers that she was to look into his eyes to take her mind off the crowd. But she did have a large smile on her face in that finally she was getting her rightful applause.

"Oh, I think this going to be an excellent routine," Prince Philip said. "She has some serious muscles for a woman."

Diaval nodded in agreement.

As expected, she had the most exposed skin of all the dancers thusfar. With her arms above her head, she began to gyrate her hips as she rose higher and higher out of the basket. Soon she was way taller than anyone else and she continued to rise up. She must have reached a height of about 8 feet before she lowered herself over the edge of the basket and let the rest of her tail spilled out onto the floor. She slowly slithered down the steps to the main part of the dancing area. Sir Joseph's carpet rose above the basket and followed her out to the edge of the dance area and he stopped there and continued to play.

Prince Philip whispered to Diaval, "My gosh, her stomach is awesome." He tried not to stare as he was worried he might catch Aurora's attention.

Diaval's attention was drawn to Medusa's stomach and how all the muscles moved underneath. Her moves were very smooth and flowing. Here arms moved just like the snakes on her head. She kept her fingers close together and tucked her thumb underneath, making her arms and hands also appear snake-like. When she writhed close to his table, she looked to him and still had the look of fear in her eyes. Diaval mouthed the word "warrior" to her. She gave him a little nod and Diaval could tell she took a few deep breaths. She then glanced back to Robin and extended one arm pointing to him and she put her other arm on her bare waist. Robin raised his hand and the band and Sir Joseph stopped playing. Medusa paused holding that position. After a moment of silence Robin counted, "One, two, three, four!" Suddenly he started to play much faster and Medusa followed by moving her hips to the beat swaying to and fro. Sir Joseph then started to play a very fast jig as his carpet descended to the floor. There were a bunch of "Whoa's, Ooo's and Ahhh's" from the audience.

Diaval was now even more impressed. Even though he wasn't attracted her overall muscular build, he found her rippling midsection rather attractive. Medusa's hips were pretty wide and she had good sized breasts so she certainly had the right figure for this type of dancing even more so than Thistletwit or many of the other dancers for that fact, with the exception of Bella as well. He didn't try to make it obvious while he was watching her in that he liked what he was seeing. He feared that Maleficent could be watching with one of her eavesdropping spheres, something, or someone else. So he remained in good composure.

Diaval looked to the audience, particularly to that fellow that had the large bulge earlier. His bulge was now even larger and he had an ear to ear grin on his face. Diaval looked to Sir Joseph and he wondered if the magic carpet might have been Maleficent's idea. He wore a sash on his belt which now was conveniently covering his private area as he sat Indian style on the rug. So he was 'covered' so to speak.

Medusa changed from gyrating her hips to moving from side to side. The way she darted to and fro had the crowd gasping at her speed. She came around and centered herself on the carpet and began to undulate from forward to back. Diaval liked this movement as her stomach muscles contracted and relaxed. He liked it when they contracted. She got quite a reaction from the crowd with this movement. After undulating a few more times, she coiled up tightly and shrank down lower and lower. She finally draped her arms over her own coils with her fingers now splayed out and threw her head forward on the last beat showing her exposed arched back.

This time the applause was loud and thunderous there where even some wolf whistles among the men. Diaval and Prince Philip were among the loudest to clap, but even they were beat out by Sir Joseph, of whom seemed it was ok to carefully stand up and cheer his woman on as she slowly uncoiled herself and rose up to her normal height. She curtsied several times and looked at everyone clapping and Diaval could see her mouth out, "Thank you" to everyone. It was just too loud to hear her over the din. Sir Joseph walked up her side and held her hand high as both bowed before the audience. Out of all the dancers, her applause was the longest and loudes. By this time, Medusa was nearly to tears and she put her hands over her mouth with everyone clapping enthusiastically.

Finally as the din subsided, Diaval could barely hear her say to Sir Joseph, "I don't believe this, I don't believe this is happening. They like me!"

Sir Joseph then gave Medusa a quick kiss and that caused a few more wolf whistles and ooo's and ahhh's. He then sat back down on the carpet and Medusa coiled up in front of him. He put his arms around her waist as the carpet rose up and then started to move forward. Two of the soldiers that brought in the basket opened the door to the ballroom. Sir Joseph and Medusa did a quick fly by around the room and then zoomed right out the door. The applause grew loud once again.

Queen Aurora took to the stage, still clapping, "I have to thank you all for giving our good friend, Medusa, that wonderful round of applause for that wonderful routine." She paused for a moment as the applause died down and then she continued, "And now I give you my Godmother, the lovely Madame Maleficent!"

Robin started to play in now a hyped up Moors style version of the night's music. A few human horn players entered the stage area and joined in the band.

Diaval looked stunned and said, "Whoa, wait! I thought she wasn't in the show?!

Just then Sir Joseph rushed back into the ballroom to his seat sans oboe and turban and exclaimed, "This I got to see!"

"See what?" Diaval said looking at Sir Joseph wondering what was going on.

Sir Joseph took a hold of Diaval's head and turned it to the stage and said, "That!"

Just then the curtains opened up and Maleficent emerged with her arms on her hips. As she took to mid stage she raised her wings straight up above her head.

A bunch of Ooo's and Ahhh's and a couple of Whoa's came from the crowd and the applause rose to a crescendo that was as loud as before, almost as if everyone was waiting for this moment.

As Maleficent walked out onto the stage, Diaval thought his heart was coming out of his chest as his world went into slow motion. His Maleficent was also dressed as an oriental dancer and a extremely sexy one at that.

Working from the top of her now outstretched and upward pointing wings, Diaval's eyes slowly traced every line down her body. Her wings were adorned with silver chains that had tassels of beads that hung down from them. She had thick silver bands on each of the horns on her wings. Working to the horns on her head, she had a large ornate silver bands around the middle of each horn. A silver net like chain ran from horn to horn and a large, single, white, pearl dangled from this chain in the middle. A silver circlet was mounted from the base of both horns and arched down to her forehead. In the center of her forehead was a purplish stone. Her hair was braided in small tight rows on her head that were set in a wavy like pattern that extended around her head and down her back. Some of the braids were set in a high pony tail which were wrapped in an ornate leather band. Her face was completely done up with makeup. She had green eye shadow within a very dark outline that extended passed her eyes elongating them to look more feline. Her lashes looked longer, her normally red lips were now a very dark purple. As tradition to her style when she wore a dress, she wore a choker of some type. This one had pearls evenly spaced in a leather band.

Her dress was purple in color with some stone work done on the torso. Her neckline was very open and the dress appeared to have normal over the shoulder straps. The straps were adorned with white stones and they widened as they reached the breast area, in which the purple material was pleated and curved down towards the center of the dress making a curved V neckline that actually extended through Maleficent's chest between her breasts and reached the main focal point of the dress which was was a large stone studded diamond shape in the center of her stomach just a little below the sternum. The upper part and lower parts of the dress came together at this point. The pleats from the upper area appeared to criss cross behind the diamond and follow through down the skirt length of the dress. The sides of her abdomen were completely exposed. These side cutouts were adorned with the same stone laden trim as the shoulder straps were. The dress was designed with the intent to draw the eye to her midsection.

Her arms had matching banded armlets with exaggerated sleeves that started right at mid bicep and ran down to the forearm before it split and proceeded down to her knees. The armlet was the same color purple as the dress and it had a tight laced design up to the split point in which it became more of a sheer material, but still having some lace pattern in it.

She wore a leather slave bracelet with white and purple stones set into it on her right hand only. Her left hand was bare.

The skirt of the dress was of the standard empire style and it only slightly flared out from Maleficent's side. This further elongated her already tall stature. The sides looked to have pleated sashes that appeared to to extend up to the diamond in the middle.

Diaval found his eyes were darting all over the place on her body. Her wings, her hair, her face. His eyes were drawn to every inch of her exposed skin. He could feel his body going into sensory overload. Normally she would only allow a tiny bit of her cleavage area to show...just the top, but this time the v neck of the dress went right through and ran the length of her sternum right to the top of the diamond. Only slightly he could see the outer edges of her breasts. He looked to his favorite lines on the sides of her abdomen. For some reason the they seemed more pronounced now. It almost seemed as if her abdomen was a bit more muscular than it was in the past. Her arms too looked very defined when she moved her arms. Her shoulders curved nicely on her upper arms. Maleficent looked more beautiful than ever and the only thing on his mind was to make love to the beautiful woman that stood before him. It was a dangerous thought too. For moments after Diaval took in and grasped the sheer beauty before him, he could feel himself get larger. This feeling accelerated as once Maleficent started to rock her body side to side to the beat moving her midsection and shoulders to the beat. She turned her eyes towards him and put a beaming smile on her face.

"Oh damn! She's going to dance." Diaval murmured as he looked down and noticed a bulge appearing.

Sir Joseph chuckled at Diaval's comment and noticed his bulge too. He then said, "Wow! She's beautiful."

Diaval winced a bit at Sir Joseph's comment as the music stopped and Maleficent then patted her hands down to get the crowd to simmer down as she folded her wings up. Even this little movement with her hands was causing trouble for Diaval as he was checking out her outstretched arms with the sleeves dangling down. He could feel himself already pressing up against his pants. Luckily his pants were baggy and had some give to it, but there was only so much that can do. For certain, he couldn't stand up.

"Ladies and Gentlemen," Maleficent boomed out as she placed her hands on her waist. "I thank you all for coming to view our show and participate in the contest. For our final number, our contestants will perform a group dance in which you can get one more good look at them. Afterwards you can then vote on your favorites. The votes will be tallied and the winners announced."

Just then a hand raised from the people in back.

"Yes, good sir ?"

"Aren't you going to dance, your grace?"

"I am sorry, but no. As with Aurora, I am not participating today."

"Oh come on, please, your excellency, you are dressed perfectly for it"

Maleficent looked to Diaval and he shook his head, 'No'. She then looked back to the gentleman and said, "I am sorry, I just dressed the part to go with the theme. Besides, I think I would look like a court jester up here trying to dance like the fine ladies you have seen tonight."

Soon others were rallying with the individual and were practically begging for Maleficent to dance.

Maleficent crossed her arms across her chest and said, "Alright folks, I am not making any promises, but should I get the nerve towards the end of the group dance, perhaps I will join in."

She looked towards Diaval and he again mouthed, 'no', more urgently this time. She just shrugged her shoulders and had a helpless look on her face.

She then turned to Robin and said, "Hit it Robin!"

"With pleasure, m'lass and I must say you are one hot tamale tonight!"

There were a bunch of, "Yeahs!" and other excited comments that came from the crowd in response to Robin.

"Really Robin, was that necessary?" Maleficent asked.

"Very!"

Maleficent darted a narrow look out to the crowd and suddenly they all became quiet.

Robin said, "Oh, my lass you always look so darn good when you give that look."

"Well, thank you. Robin."

"Your very welcome! One Two Three Four!"

Robin went right into the same song that was playing as Maleficent walked into the room.

Maleficent then walked off to the side and put her hand out towards the curtain which then opened up. All of the dancers came out in the order they appeared in the show one by one and they started to gyrate and twirl around the stage before going down to the tables and risers below giving everyone a nice close up look of them dancing. Maleficent walked over to Aurora.

The crowd's applause varied in regards to how well each performer did earlier, but they suddenly roared when Medusa slithered out. Sir Joseph stood up and clapped real loud and even whistled.

Diaval could see that Aurora was talking with Maleficent. The two seemed to be going back and forth with some dance related movements. First with her arms and then Diaval could make out some hip movements as the two stood side to side. Aurora was apparently trying to take the edge off Maleficent's nerves as she was making her laugh by gyrating her own hips into hers. The look of Maleficent moving and laughing like that was having an effect on him and the tingling between his legs increased again.

"You don't look like you are doing too well," Prince Philip said.

"I am not. I can't believe she is doing this. This is not like her to dress that way in public."

"It is just for the show," Prince Philip said.

"Diaval, my friend, it looks like we have a wee...wee wee bit of a problem here," Sir Joseph said as he pointed down.

Now both Sir Joseph AND Prince Philip took notice and Diaval cringed.

"She's just too beautiful. I can't help it," Diaval said.

"I know, I had to take measures myself. You were right, as soon as I saw Medusa in the back staging room, the same thing happened to me and I couldn't control it," Sir Joseph said.

"So what did you do?"

"I will explain later as it is kind of too late now. Now, I didn't know Maleficent was dressed up like that, she was wearing a robe the whole time over that outfit," Sir Joseph said. "I must say...Damn she is hot!"

"Joseph, you aren't helping matters any!" Diaval said starting to get angry.

Soon everyone was finished and lined up on the sides. Aurora then took to center stage and she twirled around a bit and rocked her hips back and forth to the beat.

"Oh darn, not again! Prince Philip," said nervously.

After a while she looked over to Maleficent and she shook her head, 'no'. Everyone continued to clap to the beat and it grew louder and louder. Aurora went back over to her.

Diaval then said, "Why are they making her do this? I can see she doesn't want to."

Then Diaval saw that Maleficent put her hands up and apparently was giving in to Aurora and everyone's clapping. Aurora led her from the throne to the main stage area. The whole room erupted in a loud applause. Maleficent looked to the crowd and put a smile on her face and they cheered even more.

Aurora stood next to Maleficent and she put her arms up and started to rock her hips. Maleficent then followed suit. Aurora then switched to more of a sway putting her hands on her hips. Maleficent followed again. The two moved forward towards the edge of the steps gyrating their hips.

The crowd was getting very loud at this point cheering and chanting. Maleficent started to smile more and more when everyone was cheering her on. She said a couple more things to Aurora and then suddenly shifted her body from side to side and pulled in front of Aurora.

Diaval could make out Aurora shouting, "Go Godmother! Go!"

Maleficent then spread her wings. Her initial rough moments suddenly started to smooth out. Even though her moves were not as strong as Medusa's or some of the other dancers, she started to get a good groove and began to look very sexy. Medusa slithered over to her and whispered something in her ear before joining in. Aurora came back to her other side. They pulled in front while Maleficent walked back up the steps spreading her wings showing off her bare back as she put her arms up and started to gyrate again. She apparently seemed more comfortable with her back to the crowd and she started to move her wings in different positions. This in addition to her bare back was driving Diaval nuts. Maleficent had a beautiful indentation that ran down the length of her lower back. Her back muscles flexed as she moved her hips to and fro. She looked over her shoulder and her eyes met Diaval's. She smiled and Diaval tried to smile as best he could back. Maleficent then turned around and pulled her wings down and back and joined back up with Medusa and Aurora.

"Yes, your excellency," he said handing her the ballot.

"Well, she was clearly the best in many areas, but I put you down for best oriental dance costume as I felt your costume was best and most beautiful."

"Thank you, I do appreciate that you like my outfit, but if you keep my name there, it will not count as the queen and myself were not contestants," Maleficent said as she handed the ballot back to the gentleman. "You better get that ballot to Queen Aurora, so it will be counted."

"Yes, your excellency, I do hope that you hold this contest every year."

Maleficent looked up and into the room at the guys cheering and then answered, "I probably will if it does mean that much to the men."

They got up to the landing when Maleficent offered Diaval to take a seat on the bench by the window.

"It was the theme. Did you really think I was going to stay in back the whole time and let everyone else have fun? You know I always like to make a grand entrance," she said in a cool voice.

After waking up, Maleficent's makeup was even more a mess. She tried to fix it with her magic, but being inexperienced with makeup, it became a total loss. She called Aurora in to help, but sadly it was so far gone and too soon for dinner that Aurora was forced to take it off. At dinner, everyone started by discussing the oriental dance contest. Medusa kept gushing about how she didn't believe how she won most of the categories including Best Routine. However, not having much need for money, she ended up giving her prizes to most of the other contestants. Her action had won the hearts of many and for the first time, she felt accepted by the people of Malora. However, Aurora was amazed that nearly three quarters of the ballots had Maleficent's name written down for most beautiful costume. It was 55/45 in favor of Medusa over Maleficent for the sexiest costume. Medusa kept gushing at how she won that category. It did give Sir Joseph an uneasy feeling that most of the men found Medusa the sexiest.

Diaval had a hard time as confirmation of Maleficent's beauty was apparent all through dinner. He had an erection that wouldn't quit. He found it impossible to look at Maleficent without some kind of reaction. It was just the dress had his eyes wandering. The dress was really the next best thing to seeing Maleficent naked and it was affecting him. So he tried as much as possible not to look at her. Given his condition, Maleficent and he were the last two to leave the dining room and even then he was careful to walk behind Maleficent.

When they got to their room, Maleficent turned around and looked at Diaval and with one arm across her chest and the other arm holding her hand to her chin she looked down to Diaval's pants, he had a huge bulge.

Maleficent joked, "My oh my, mine sweet, the circus could come to town given the size of that tent."

"I can't help it. In that dress you are just too beautiful," Diaval said. "And speaking of beauty, did you hear of the contest results...even they confirm you are the most beautiful woman in the kingdom."

"Thank you, Diaval, I do feel very beautiful now." Maleficent said and then turned to the window and continued. "It is still early, shall we practice flying tonight?"

"Alright, but..."

"But what?

"You are not going in that dress are you?"

"Heavens no, Diaval. I think it would be torn to shreds by the force of the wind. Then I would be flying naked...However, I am sure you would like that."

"Funny, I would like to see you fly naked. Have you ever done it before?"

"Yes! When I was nine years old and just starting to get breasts. I drove Robin nuts that day!" Maleficent started to laugh as she continued. "He kept flying after me holding my robes and I just flew circles around him in the nude."

Maleficent and Diaval laughed and then she put her arms around his neck and said, "When the weather gets warm again... and only at night I would like fly with no clothes on again...with you."

"I assure you I will be looking forward to that time."

"Indeed, I know you would."

Maleficent then changed into her robe that she normally wore when they practiced flying.

"Wow, that is quite a stark difference," Diaval said. "At least your neck and forearms are exposed."

Maleficent said, "What's the matter, don't I look beautiful enough for you in this?"

"You're always beautiful."

Maleficent smirked as she said, "That's a very good answer. Now come, my love, before the sun sets."

Maleficent and Diaval went out to the terrace and Maleficent changed him into a dragon via his bird form. Tonight Maleficent was going to try to fly with a new minimal harness that Robin created. This harness was much smaller than the old one and it only had one seat. It didn't have the over the shoulder restraints. It had tie downs for Maleficent's legs and a standard seat belt. The harness had enlarged foot rests that allowed Maleficent to stand up in it. Maleficent tied the harness to her legs and then told Diaval to take off.

Maleficent seemed to be in much better spirits as they took to the air. Diaval would look back to her often. Every now and then their eyes locked and she just smiled at him.

"Ok, Diaval, I am going to stand now!" she shouted to him.

Diaval nodded and then leveled off making himself as still as possible while she undid her seat belt and stood up. She opened up her wings and cupped them. By now she was becoming an expert at this and Diaval could feel the pull when the wind caught her wings get stronger each time she opened her wings on his back. This time she didn't stop at gliding but also began to flap her wings. She did this the last time too on the way out to the cliff in the old harness, but this time it felt different, he could actually feel a bit of a pulling when she flapped her wings. She WAS getting stronger.

When they got to the cliff they landed by the edge like they normally do. Maleficent undid the ropes that bound her legs to the harness and she dismounted off of Diaval's back.

Maleficent walked to the edge of the cliff and looked back to Diaval and said, "I am feeling pretty good tonight...New lesson Diaval."

She opened her wings and then looked to Diaval. His eyes widened and suddenly he got to his feet he had a look on his face of concern.

Maleficent took a couple deep breaths and then turned her head once more to Diaval and said "Catch Me!" and then just dove straight off the cliff. As she started to go down as she pulled her wings in to gather up speed. Then she outstretched her wings and just like on Diaval's back, she caught the wind and now without any bindings she was pulled straight up. The pull was very strong and she could feel the wings actually yank her back up. 'Whoa Mal, easy now.' she said to herself. It was a bit rough going as she was pitching and yawing to and fro, but soon she got herself steady and started to rise on a current that was blowing towards her.

"Mal, you did it! You are flying on your own! Well, it is still more like gliding, but I am so close!" Maleficent said to herself aloud. "Yaaahooooo!" She shook her fist in the air. Suddenly her eyes began to well up. 'No no, Mal, no crying now, you need to see where you are going.' The wind ended up taking any shed tears away, but then the updraft died out and Maleficent started to descend fast. She heard Diaval roar behind her, and she looked back. He was still a good way behind her. She noticed the ground coming up real fast.

"Oh no! There isn't going to be enough room for Diaval to get under me."

Maleficent cup her wings more to slow down and started to flap them to get some more lift to increase the space between herself and the ground. But flapping was what stood in her way from truly flying. Flapping quickly caused her wing muscles to ache as they strained to pull her weight up. "C'mon Mal, you are stronger than this! Flap! Flap! C'mon," she said to herself.

Maleficent strained, but managed to get enough lift so that Diaval could slip just beneath her. She could hear his talons scrape the ground as he approached, but he was coming in too hot. So she cupped her wings forward to get a little more speed but this caused her to descend a bit too. She then saw Diaval's head and neck shoot by underneath her and she quickly straightened her wings and then dropped down right on top of Diaval' s back. She just made too as she was only two feet away from his tail But she landed with her two feet on his back. She crouched down as Diaval picked up speed again and started to make his turn to go back towards the cliff. As Maleficent slowly crept forward she felt the wind in her hair as Diaval sped up. Then she got a thought...she was right now standing well balanced on the center of Diaval's back. She moved forward towards the harness and stooped down to get the reins.

Diaval looked back and smiled to her as he looked happy to see she was safe on his back.

"Diaval, don't land on the cliff yet, go back towards the castle."

Diaval nodded. Instead of climbing back into the harness. Maleficent held fast to the reins and stood on Diaval's back right behind the harness. She opened up her wings.

Diaval looked back in shock and immediately started to descend.

"No No Diaval! Don't descend! I am trying something out and need you to trust me and fly straight!" Maleficent called out.

Diaval had a worried look on his face when he looked back, but he complied and once again leveled off smoothly.

"Good Diaval! Now hold like this!"

Maleficent once again extended her wings, but this time she opened them with the forward edge down. Now the wind was pushing down on her instead of lifting. Diaval felt this and roared.

"I am going against the lift to help press my feet against your back."

Diaval nodded.

"Lets do a flyby Diaval. I have always wanted to do this standing on your back."

Diaval then smiled and again nodded his head indicating that he now understood what Maleficent was doing. Given his more bold nature as a dragon, he certainly was open to the idea of showing off. He flapped his wings harder making them speed up towards the castle. Maleficent had to adjust her footing to compensate for the forward draft.

"Ok, don't go any faster than this, you could still potentially blow me off your back."

Diaval nodded in acknowledgement and backed off a bit on the speed. Soon the castle was in view and Maleficent said, "Roar Diaval! Let them know we are coming."

Diaval began to roar as they drew near to the castle.

"Circle the castle!" Maleficent shouted.

As they circled the castle they could see quite a few people exit the castle from the front entrance and the terrace. Even though it was starting to get dark Maleficent could make out that Aurora was amongst those on the terrace.

"Ok, Diaval, now climb"

Diaval looked back with concern in his eyes and he shook his head "No."

"Diaval, Climb! I know what I am doing. Now please climb."

Diaval still shook his head.

"Darn it Diaval! This is my moment now I want to show her."

Diaval looked down to Aurora and the crowd building below. He slowly started to climb as he turned towards the town.

"Stop ascending when you reach the town."

Diaval looked back and roared.

"Diaval, please trust me."

Diaval had a concerned look in his face as they reached the town.

"Alright now turn around!"

Diaval turned around.

"Now stay this height and pick up speed!

Diaval complied.

Maleficent stooped and tied the reins to the harness. She then put out her arms took a deep breath and said, "Wish me luck!"

Diaval let out a roar but it was more of a painful roar rather than one of happiness. Maleficent closed her eyes and outstretched her arms. She then slowly pitched the back of her wings from angeling downward to upward changing from a downward pressure to lift. She was immediately lifted off of Diaval's back. She looked down and realized she was much higher from when she left the cliff earlier. She began to pull her wings in a bit and she started to dive to pick up speed. Once she felt she was going fast enough she leveled off and then she rolled towards the castle as she banked around it. She could hear the cheers and applause from below. She then thought to herself, 'should I make a grand entrance? No, what if something goes wrong, I could end up slamming myself right into the castle wall. No barrel roll today, Mal. But I have another idea.' Maleficent was getting lower and approaching the terrace. She banked hard over the terrace and flew above making sure she connected with Aurora and she waved to her smiling.

'OK, Mal, now it's time to figure out how to land here.' She looked down and saw that Diaval was circling the base of the castle looking up. He was acting like a safety net for Maleficent. 'Alright then', she said to herself as she pulled her wings in and dove straight down towards Diaval. She pumped her wings hard to get up speed. But pumping her wings was now causing her muscles to ache. She pulled straight up facing away from the castle and said to herself, 'Now for the grand entrance'. She shot up passed the terrace and then turned over on to her back. She pulled her wings in, flipped over and outstretched her wings once she was facing down.

"Uh Oh!" she said as she came out of the flip a little low and had to pump her wings hard to clear the terrace railing.

"Uh! Uh! Uh!" She called out with each flap aching more than the last. "C'mon stop being weak, Mal! You are a warrior!"

With a couple more good hard pumps she just made it over the railing. She pulled her legs up to clear the railing and then put her feet down as she pumped her wings a couple more times to slow to a stop several feet away from Aurora. She then stood there and folded her wings. She was breathing hard as she looked to Aurora with a stunned look on her face.

"Aurora, I did it!" she exclaimed.

Suddenly the entire crowed erupted into applause. The terrace was filling with more and more people by the second.

Queen Aurora put her hands over her mouth in astonishment and instantly burst into tears. Medusa rushed her friend and put her arms around her and also burst out into tears. Robin also followed and sat on her shoulder. He kissed her on the cheek and said, "That's my lass, finally after all these years. You're back in the sky."

"Well, Robin, I am getting there, but I still have work to do, but thank you." Maleficent said.

"Lass, you were looking mighty fine to me up there," Robin said.

Sir Joseph came up next and bowed before Maleficent taking her hand and kissing it he said, "Congratulations your excellency. It is a glorious day to see you taking to wing once again."

Before Maleficent could offer her thanks, Sir Kenneth came up and bowed before her and took her other hand and kissed it saying, "Congratulations your excellency."

Others were starting to close in around Maleficent when she heard a roar. Diaval joined them, but with so many people on the terrace, he couldn't find a place to land. He let out another roar. Maleficent looked to him and waved her hand and he changed into his raven form. He flew down and Robin offered him his place on Maleficent's shoulder.

Diaval came down and landed on her shoulder and rejoiced by cawing several times. He then proceeded to nudge his head against Maleficent's cheek affectionately.

Maleficent was ready to change Diaval back when Sir Joseph bellowed in his strong voice, "Make way for the queen!"

In those that already congratulated Maleficent, they didn't realize that they ended up cutting Aurora's path off. Everyone parted way so there was a clear line between Aurora and Maleficent. Maleficent turned to Diaval and whispered, "Brace for impact, my love." Maleficent saw Aurora, still with tears in her eyes, start to charge towards her and instinctively she put one foot behind her. Diaval put his wing partly over his face as he looked on. As Aurora drew closer, Maleficent could feel him dig his talons into her shoulder. "Awww," Maleficent said as she felt him grip tighter.

WHAM! The impact nearly knocked the wind out of Maleficent. Aurora threw one arm around her neck and the other around her waist and pulled her in tight as she buried her face into Maleficent's shoulder. She lifted her head up with tears rolling down her face. As their eyes met, Maleficent suddenly got that good feeling surging through her again and she wrapped her arms around her goddaughter. She could feel Aurora's body shake as she continued to weep heavily into her chest. Maleficent could feel her emotions start to get the best of her as her eyes started to well up. She pulled away and looked Aurora in the face.

"Words cannot begin to explain what I am feeling for you now, Godmother. Just to witness this moment will be something I will cherish for as long as I live."

"Thank you Beastie. I will remember this day forever myself for many reasons."

Diaval cawed and rubbed his head against her cheek.

Aurora smiled as she pulled away from Maleficent and said, "Pretty bird, Diaval." Diaval hopped onto Aurora's arm and she drew him close to her face and said, "Thank you for helping Godmother, your flying was spectacular and I saw how you tried to keep her safe."

Aurora brought him close to her cheek and rubbed it against his head. He made almost like a purring sound.

Maleficent waited for Aurora to look up and a wisp of yellow formed around her hand.

"Oh!" Aurora said as she lifted her arm and Diaval jumped up. Maleficent then turned him into a man.

There was a roar among the crowd and Diaval turned around and had a stunned look on his face as to why they were cheering. He looked back to Maleficent and smiled.

He looked to the crowd and they clapped louder and made a pushing motion with their hands indicating for him to go to Maleficent. As he approached her, everyone went silent. He stopped and looked again in back of him. A familiar voice shouted from the back, "Oh go on! Give her a kiss." It was Knotgrass. Flittle and Thistletwit were with her as well. The three of them flew up and started to light the torches on the terrace as it was now dusk.

Diaval approached Maleficent and their eyes locked. He then whispered to her, "I just want to let you know that you scared the crap out of me tonight and I am going to have a long talk with you later, but it is your moment to shine and I certainly am not going to ruin it for you."

"I am sorry Diaval, I know I didn't discuss this with you. But with all that went on today, I just had a feeling tonight was going to be a good night."

"It is a good night and I am extremely happy for you," he said as tears welled up in his eyes. He then said in a slightly louder voice so others could hear. "We both took to wing for the first time as lovers tonight and I am proud to say that I enjoyed flying with you tonight, my dear."

"I couldn't have done it without you, Thank you, mine sweet." Maleficent softly.

Diaval looked back and then said softly to Maleficent, "You know they are going to want us to kiss."

"I know...but I can quickly dive off the side railing and change you..."

Diaval shook his head, "No, I am afraid we have to do this...together."

"Alright, but let's not linger," Maleficent said.

As their faces drew closer and closer, the crowd became quieter and quieter.

Suddenly Thistletwit called out, "Ok look! It is the fae of the Moors, they are coming to the castle and they are led by Balthazar and Everett!"

Maleficent and Diaval approached the rail along with Aurora. They were joined by Medusa, Sir Joseph and Robin.

Queen Aurora turned around clapped her hands twice and and said, "Uhhhh! Staff and servants I need your attention!"

Immediately about a dozen servants came before the queen and bowed.

"No no! Arise all. We are going to have to immediately prepare the ballroom for our fellow fae folks of the Moors. More than likely they are coming to congratulate Madame Maleficent as they have seen her flight around the castle. Cooks, please prepare some soup, fruits, salads and nectars as I am sure they will be hungry and thirsty from their walk or flight," Queen Aurora ordered.

Soon the terrace was bustling with activity and Maleficent called out, "Everyone stop!"

Everyone froze in their tracks and all eyes turned to her. Even Aurora looked to her Godmother with a surprised look.

"I am sorry for startling everyone, but I didn't get a chance to offer my thanks. So I would like to say thank you to everyone that has helped me fly again. I still have a ways to go, but I have come a long way already. I know that some have risked quite a bit for me to get to this point and I can't begin to express what I am feeling at this moment, but all I can say is, thank you very much."

Everyone clapped and cheered.

"On a final note, I would like to mention that the person that deserves much more than what my words can say as that person that has sacrificed the most in giving me my wings back and through him this was all possible. He practically gave his life to me so I can fly again." Maleficent said her voice beginning to quaver. Thank you from the bottom of my heart, my life long friend, Robin."

The crowd applauded as Robin flew out to the center and bowed in a cheeky manner, did a couple of loop the loops. He then suddenly stopped and turned to Maleficent. He started to cry as he said to Maleficent, "You saved me for last? ...And gave me a special thank you?"

Maleficent said, nearly to tears herself, "Well, you have done the most for me, not only with helping me with my wings but being there to raise me from a child and also being there as my friend. Furthermore you were willing to sacrifice your life for me."

"Oh, lass, you don't know how happy you have made me tonight," Robin said as he flew over to Maleficent and threw his arms around her neck. Maleficent slowly reached up and place her hand on Robin's back just below his wings. He continued in a small voice voice, "You have made me so proud of you." He then gave her a kiss on the cheek.

Maleficent could feel her eyes start to well up and as Robin pulled away with tear tracks running down his face. She said, "Oh, stop now, you are going make me all mushy in front of everyone."

"That isn't a bad thing, lass. But I know you...always wanting to be the strong one."

Robin bowed once again and then flew off.

"Well, I best be off as we have guests coming," Queen Aurora said softly to Maleficent and Diaval. She then turned to the crowd and said, "Alright everyone! Please go back to your stations and posts as we will be receiving guests shortly."

"I am going to go help the ladies," Robin said. "Thank you again lass, you really have made my day today."

Maleficent dipped her head towards her friend and then he flew off. The three pixies started to douse some of the lights on the terrace but left a few lit including the two by the railing. Soon only Maleficent and Diaval were standing by the rail looking into the castle as many bodies were darting to and fro. Then they looked out to the now dark field. There were many glowing lights that were slowly moving from the Moors towards the castle. Some of those of the Moor folk that could fly started to arrive. Balthazar and Everette were less than a 100 yards from the castle's drawbridge.

"Looks like we are going to have a busy night," Diaval said.

"Yes."

"Now, about you scaring the crap out of me tonight and not telling me ahead of time what you were going to do. Not once, but twice."

"Diaval?" Maleficent asked as she interruted.

"Yes?"

"Do you still want that kiss?"

"Yes," Diaval answered.

"You have earned it you know and I DO want to thank you properly for your help...not only for tonight, but for getting me to this point where I can fly again."

Diaval smiled and wrapped his arms around Maleficent's waist and she draped her arms around his neck.

Diaval didn't say a word as he pursed his lips and closed his eyes. His lips pressed up against hers. Immediately she started to press her tongue passed his lips and into his mouth.

"Hmmmm", he moaned aloud.

The kiss was very deep and passionate. The two ended up sitting on the rail and continued to kiss. After a long while Maleficent pulled back.

"Wow. That was a really nice kiss," Diaval said.

"Thank you, mine sweet. I might have made Robin's night, but when it comes down to it, I couldn't have done this without you either, in fact with everything that went on today, you are my shining star tonight."
