Hi guys! Long time no read, but I'm back! I've fulfilled my life dream by going to Japan and had an amazing time! I loved everything about being there accept just being put into some uncomfortable and grouchy situations by the end of it! But after a few weeks of rest and getting back into the swing of things, I'm back and ready to start improving my writing! Starting with finishing what I began and that was my biggest discovery on that trip! But enough of my emotional growth, let's go back to our love drama! *points over to lights*
A: Uh huh Daenerys
"How did this happen?!" Hikaru demanded, rising from his seat with a red flushed face of both anger and embarrassment.
"I mean you guys are all in high school!" Kaoru added. Haruhi glared down to the floor, feeling her own cheeks flame in embarrassment.
"It isn't unusual for us to already have a fiancée decided for us by our parents even now." Kyoya sighed before adjusting his glasses with one hand. The other, curving around Haruhi's neck and up to cradling her cheek close to his. "It seems that Haruhi was the lucky candidate to be a future bride for the Ootori family."
Everyone in the room was utterly frozen hearing such words, and coming from Kyoya no less. The other four turned their heads to Tamaki, expecting the usual tantrum from the blonde who instead hung his head low. His bangs blocking out whatever emotion that were in the usual cheerful amethyst eyes, though Haruhi was the one watching intently. The only movement he made, was to clench his fists, but otherwise said nothing. Haruhi's eyes closed a moment in sudden hurt overwhelming her heart before wiggling away from Kyoya's hold.
"Enough with this talk, don't we have customers or something?" She asked hoping to change the subject.
"Good thinking Haru-chan!" Hunny cheered, attempting to change the mood. I bet there will be lots of girls wanting to know why you never wore a girl's uniform until now."
"I look forward to that conversation." She muttered sarcastically, lifting up the yellow dress before releasing a sigh. "I don't think it's even that flattering."
The sound of three items crashing to the ground made her turn to see both the twins and Tamaki staring at a pile of broken glass.
"Look what you did!" Hikaru blamed, pointing an accusing finger to Tamaki. The blonde shook his head in defiance and instead pointed his own finger towards Hikaru.
"I did, you dropped yours and tripped me!"
"Did not!"
"Did to!" Their fighting and yelling persisted much to her annoyance leading to the mess only to be dealt with by Haruhi. As she bent over to begin picking up the glass, another figure dropped down beside her to pick up a piece.
"One of our best sets too, I don't know how you manage to find a way to break them Haruhi."
"Me! I was about to open the door!"
"But it was your comment that made them go in such frenzy." He smiled a bit but dropped the piece to the floor and extended his hand outward to take a piece of her hair to tuck behind her ear. "But, you humble yourself too much Haruhi, the fact is that uniform only makes you look cuter."
He stood up without another comment turning to walk off past the two who ceased their arguing.
"No charge for that one then." He responded casually, leaving Haruhi to watch him carefully.
"I…I'm going to go open the club." She excused, walking over to the doors while being watched carefully by Tamaki.
A sudden punch in the arm snapped him out of his gaze while Hikaru's angry expression blocked his sight.
"Are you really that much of an idiot Tono?!" He growled taking his jacket in a tight hold. "Kyoya isn't going to stop for you this time, and he's pulling the host charm all over Haruhi!"
"Haruhi won't be wooed by actions like that, she sees it every day."
"Maybe from us, but she's never seen Kyoya interact with a customer other than trying to sell off merchandise. Get it together!"
"You'd rather I have her than Kyoya?" Tamaki raised a brow before embracing the twin tightly. "Oh Hikaru!"
"Give me a break!" The ginger huffed and narrowed his eyes. "But you don't want to lose Haruhi to Kyoya do you?"
That question alone froze Tamaki who diverted his gaze away from the harsh glare.
"Why are you so silent about it? You love her! You need to fight for her!"
Just as Tamaki opened his mouth to respond, the doors banged open while a large mob waited outside the door but not much of the usual customers.
"It looks like we have other problems to worry about." Kaoru murmured while Hikaru turned around his eyes widened un-proportionately. It was very unusual to see a large group of boys waiting outside of the host club; however their eyes locked onto only one host.
"There she is!"
"Haruhi-chan!"
The atmosphere of the club dropped, as Haruhi backed away from the doors.
"It...it looks like we have some new customers." Her eyebrow twitched uncontrollably as one of the boys leapt out to take her hand. He wasn't a complete stranger, but was a boy from her class that often asked for her explanation on notes and made some small talk.
"Haruhi, it's so nice to see you in a girl's uniform! All along I've had a crush on you but well, first you were a boy and then even after you kept wearing the boy's uniform so it didn't feel right. But now you look a hundred percent girl! So…I came to confess my feeling-" Before he could finish a hand was shoved into his face while another looped around Haruhi.
"That won't be necessary Toya." Hikaru smiled a scary grin before shooting the boy a glare. "Because Haruhi already has a lover."
"What?!" The crowd gaped along with Haruhi whose mouth dropped open it was soon pulled closed by another hand, in the process tilting her chin back to look up to a pair of saddened amethyst eyes. He winked at her a moment with a smile that caught her attention more than usual.
He's upset over something. She noticed when his hand wrapped around to be placed over her head.
"Yes, it's true. Now that your secret is out Haruhi, we can no longer hide it." He sighed dramatically, automatically pulling Tamaki's customers to the front to gape at the display.
"What secret?" They all asked in unison. Tamaki only smiled and wrapped another arm around Haruhi's waist to pull her closer into him.
"All along, Haruhi and I….have been lovers." The large crowd gasped in a manner that had Haruhi drop all startled traces and instead became annoyed.
Right this is the Host Club…at Ouran….where these people eat these things up.
"Yes, it was on the night in which I was about to leave Ouran! That Haruhi came forth, chasing after me and declared her love over on the bridge at sunset. It was like something from an anime, but it was true. That's why we came back together, soaking wet having fallen in, me protecting her since Haruhi isn't the best of swimmers."
Idiot. Haruhi kept thinking though didn't move away considering the boys were all taking disappointed and even angry expressions at Tamaki.
"So it was as I saved her, that I confessed my equal feelings as well. Since then," He chirped up and held his hand outward. "We have happily been dating!"
"Such a beautiful story!" One girl cooed, clutching her cheeks as a pink blush tinted her cheeks.
"It's just so sad our Tamaki-sama's heart was taken!" Another cried, wiping her tears with a handkerchief.
"Please kiss for us!"
Haruhi stiffened and looked up to Tamaki who was smiling calmly to the crowd, as other girls demanded for them to kiss.
"Alright, they want to see a display of love Haruhi." He smiled and cradled her cheek in his hand. Her heartbeat picked up into her throat as time moved at a slow rate.
Wh…what is this feeling?! She thought as Tamaki tilted his head with a satisfied smile and happy glint in his eyes. His blonde hair falling like a veil of gold around his face and brushed against her cheek with his leaned frame. Hesitantly, she raised her own hand to curve at his neck. His eyes widened at the touch, and he paused a moment to look down to her.
"Haruhi?" He asked, shocked at her action, and though smiled brightly.
Maybe…maybe she loves me to. He smiled and leaned closer, pulling her waist toward him at the same time to hold her closer.
In a split second, Haruhi was pulled by Tamaki's hold leaving the blonde to blink in sudden confusion to where she disappeared to.
"Is this a love triangle?!" One of the girls squealed again.
"Hikaru must have not heard of their relationship!"
Hikaru? Tamaki asked and looked around for the ginger but only saw his twin blinking in sudden confusion. From the corner of his eye, Tamaki noticed Kyoya leaning against the wall, the glare of the light reflecting off his glasses to hide his eyes. A smirk tugged at his lips before he turned away lightly chuckling to Tamaki's confusion as he wondered where Hikaru took Haruhi off to.
"Hikaru what was that?" Haruhi asked the moment they were out in the maze. The ginger kept walking on not looking back as Haruhi snapped her wrist away from his hold. "Was there a problem or something?"
The ginger stopped and didn't meet her gaze but looked down to his feet.
"Why…why did you have to get engaged to those two?" He growled.
"Hikaru I told you it was my father-"
"No….I mean why did it have to be with them!? Why couldn't my mother have sent your dad an engagement contract? You know…it's not fair."
"You're right it's not, I'm the one being promised like a box of meat without being asked what I want."
"But they don't get it Haruhi!" He yelled turning to her with hurt filled eyes. "They don't get it…"
"Get what?" He took a step forward in the grass, followed by another until he was standing in front of her.
"Did Tono or Kyoya even say that they loved you? Did they use that as a reason to get married to you?" He raised a hand to brush through her short locks and Haruhi's eyes widened at the action. "Did they say that it didn't matter if their families wanted it, just because they want to be with you?"
"N…not exactly." She admitted, though looked to the ground. But Tamaki…he acted differently than when he was first engaged to Éclair…that has to mean something right?
"That's what makes me different." He murmured leaning closer to catch her chin in his hand. "Because I love you."
Her eyes widened at the confession and again she felt her mouth want to drop open but her body wouldn't move. Hikaru brought her closer into an embrace and buried his nose in the crook of her neck.
"I've always loved you, that's why it isn't fair…to see you engaged to two others who don't."
Haruhi wanted to open her mouth and protest, but a part of her accepted it as the truth. Neither Tamaki nor Kyoya admitted anything to me. She thought glumly
"Haruhi," His voice snapped her out of her thoughts to when she looked up to see his golden eyes right in front of hers, his face in even closer proximity than where Tamaki was as he was about to kiss her. "That's why…I didn't want to…see you kissed…" He leaned in closer, his warm breath against her open lips. "By…another."
He gently leaned closer for a lip contact that Haruhi's eyes widened to the action. No part of her body would move, even her hands were shaking by her side but she could do nothing but feel the experience of her first kiss. Unknown to her of the envious eyes that were watching and narrowed at the sight.
Mwahahahaha, I shall end there…but what will happen next? Tamaki is in love with Haruhi but lacks the courage to confess; Kyoya admires Haruhi but lacks the courage to go against his father's threat. Hikaru admits his love and takes action but does he lack the heart of the one he loves? Oh poor Haruhi, engaged to two yet is unknown to many unknown feelings. Find out next time, and please review.
Q: If Haruhi were to go on a date with all of the hosts, where would they go?
