Author's note: Hey everybody! To those of you who still have this thing on alert what up?! Thanks for sticking around after years of no updates. To those of you just joining us welcome, welcome. So this is not me saying that I have officially abandoned this project, I haven't. I'm back baby! I'm even going to have a few other stories coming out so keep a look out, they will not be DBZ stories though, anyways onto news for this story. I have had serious lack of something for this project however, I recently sat down and decided I wanted to finish this out because I think it has great potential. To me there aren't many good Gohan becomes the hero stories and I think it's a more natural progression for the character. And Mirari Gohan was just badass anyways, no way in hell he'd do that damn Great Saiyaman shit and neither am I. So I have completely mapped out this story, I have the beginning (obviously) all the way to the end. Not every minute detail but the big plot points for every chapter, which is going to help me out a lot. I've also decided to revamp a little. Mostly a few fixes plot wise and some character improvements and some other stuff. Now because of all of this I'm going to be renaming this thing. So after this author's note nothing will most likely be posted on here again. I'll keep it up though for a while just so everyone sees this and in case I do need to post something on here. Also, the song titles for chapter titles won't be a thing anymore either, too much trouble. I'll probably rename most chapters. Now just because I have everything mapped out and a few finished chapters don't expect to get an update like every day. This is almost a complete overhaul. I have to go back over each chapter I have done and figure out what to keep and what to throw away. I may even choose to rewrite a couple of them. I'm also in my last semester of college so I have a lot going on with that. What I'll try to do is have a chapter out every two weeks with sometimes having to go into once a month. Don't worry though, it will be worth it. And if anyone wants to I wouldn't mind having a beta reader, so get in touch with me if you'd like to do that. So I know you've been curious, the new name for the story will be Out of the Ashes. So there you have it, if you have an idea for a better title let me know but as of right now that is the working title. I'll get the first chapter out to y'all in a week or so.
