3 days until the crash

"So my wife and Levy has been kindapped!?" Laxus growled still chained up in his hand cuffs. His situation couldn't get any worse if he tried.

"Yes i'm afraid so sir." Porlyusica said trying to go through her files to see if there was anything else that could possibly bring them out of the situation that they were in.

"Who did it?" Laxus suddenly said anger written all over his tired face.

"We don't know sir, but I was informed that police are looking into it as we speak."

There was suddenly a knock on the door and Mr. Doranbolt and Juvia entered much to their surprise.

"What are you doing here Doranbolt?" Porlyusica questioned looking at the blue haired girl next to him.

"I'm here to beg you to take that 2nd degree manslaughter deal." He cut to the chase sitting down across from Laxus while Juvia took a seat next to her lawyer.

"I thought we already dicussed that we weren't going to do that." Porlyusica said anger seething through her.

"Yes but your circumstances have changed, Lucy isn't here so your only hope of Mr. Dreyar being equitted of anything is slim to none and you know that." He said looking at the harsh look Laxus was sending him.

"Just because Lucy isn't here doesn't mean i don't have any other tricks up my sleeve, i'm afraid you underestimate me sir." She replied feeling the tension build up in the room.

"Maybe I do, but if your client gets sentenced to death or life we'll see just who the better lawyer is won't we?" He said in all seriousness.

"Death?" Juvia raised a brow obviously not being informed in this.

"Yes Ms. Lockser I meant to inform you sooner." Doranbolt spoke apologetically.

"I wish you had of, May I have a word with you?" She asked her eyes never leaving Laxus's.

"Of course Ms." He said getting up and opening the door for Juvia.

The two of them sat in utter silence until the two of them came back in.

By the looks on their faces what ever they had discussed out there it didn't go well as Juvia sat down with a huff and Doranbolt an exhausted sigh.

"Okay, back to the plea deal." He said sounding stressed.

"I'm not guilty." Laxus grunted.

" So I guess it's still a no." He said turning towards porlyusica.

"I'm afraid so." She responded feeling a bit of anxiety within her.

"So am I, come Ms. Lockser." Doranbolt said excorting the lady out the door.

"I'll see you in Court." He said with a hint of remorse yet diction.

Neither of them said nothing as the time on the clock seemed to go by quicker and quicker.

"I don't particularly care what happens to me." He said all of a sudden breaking the silence.

She froze for a second at his words but decided to hear him out before she protested.

"But, I do care what happens to Lucy and I expect that everyone's doing everything in their power to find her." He said shooting the woman a icy stare that even Gray would've felt.

"I assure you we'll find her." She assured.

"Good." Was all he said as a police guard came to escort him back to his cell.

Before he left he turned back to her.

"If I die before she's found, tell her i'm sorry." She looked at the man to see that guilt and pain was written all over his face.

"I will, but you aren't dying any time soon." She said shooting him a cocky grin.

"We'll see." And with that he left leaving her in the room with nothing but her thoughts.

Where are you Ms. Heartfilia?
