Day five: the last day
"Luce are you ready?" Natsu called for the girl to come out the bathroom.
"Do I really have to go?" Lucy groaned through the door. Natsu opened the door and saw the blonde sitting there with her back against the bath.
"Yes. Yes you do" He crouched down to her level and grinned.
"But..."
"No buts" Natsu stood up and held out his hand for the blonde to take. Lucy remembered the last time she went to the guild. She still has a bruise on her bum because of them.
"Come on" Natsu grabbed her arm and pulled her through the door and towards the window.
At the guild everyone was waiting for Natsu and Lucy to show up, Levy and Erza in particular. They were the only ones who knew what would happen on the last day. Everyone thought that she would lose her memory permanently but they knew what really was going to happen.
"Where is the toaster boy?" Gray said beginning to get inpatient.
"They will be here soon, I think" Levy said that last part quietly so no one else heard.
"Even I agree he is taken to long" Erza shocked everyone by agreeing with Gray.
"Let's go look for them then, to make it quicker." They agreed and Gray, Erza, Levy and Happy left through the guild doors to find the idiot and Lucy.
As Natsu was pulling Lucy along they didnt know that some one had there eyes on them.
"Hey boss aren't those two the ones you casted a spell a few days back?" a man wearing black appeared from the shadows and walked up to the mage which was talking to him. He walked over to the ball they were looking through. Annoyed at what he saw, the dark mage slammed is fist onto the ball which caused it to shatter. He turned and stormed out of the room.
"Natsu slow down you're going too fast."
"But the faster we get there the faster you will remember stuff." He was still pulling her through the town trying to get the guild as quick as possible
"Natsu we will get there just slow..." she was cut off when she bumped into his back.
"Hello old friends, long time no see" said a mage in black from a building.
"What do you want?" Natsu let go of Lucy's hand and clutched his fists and set himself alight.
"Is that any way to treat a friend?"
"Friends my ass. Lucy get out of here head for the guild" Lucy was about to turn and run but then more mages jumped down and blocked their path.
"Tisk, tisk, tisk. I sold my soul to gain that power and you think I'm going to let you get away that easily. Well think again."
"Natsu, what should we do?" Lucy looked towards the dragon slayer with fear in her eyes.
"What Fairy Tail mages always do. FIRE DRAGONS IRON FIST!" He sent a fiery punch to two of the people surrounding them.
"Got it! OPEN GATE OF THE GOLDEN BULL, TAURUS!" Lucy said huffing afterwards.
"MOOOOOO!" A bull with an axe appeared, and begun to swing his axe around.
"Taurus get rid of them Dark wizards."
"Of cause Lucy anything for your perfect body" Lucy face palmed her face at what once was cooling just got ruined. As everyone was fighting Lucy felt herself beginning to fell weak. She ignored it and joined the others.
Both mages began to fight the others which amused the dark mage still standing on the building. He looked down he could help but think that this was worth it.
"Bring the girl back to the guild" He said quietly turning his head to the side. 'my fun has to end at some point' he shrugged.
"Yes sir" A mage appeared next to him but soon disappeared.
"Your luck will soon run out Lucy Heartfilia" He said staring at the blonde mage. Watching her amused him as he could see Lucy getting weaker and weaker.
Meanwhile Lucy was using her whip to help out in the fight. She didn't see the mage pop behind her and was about to attack her.
"I think not"
"Loki!" Lucy kicked the guy she was fighting away and faced Loki.
"How did you get here?"
"You really want to start a conversation right now." He said punching a guy in the face.
"You're right."
"ROAR OF THE FIRE DRAGON!" Natsu sent a roar straight towards several guys. He looked around him and saw Lucy, the bull pervert and Loki fighting which caused him to chuckle. None of them saw the mage snatch Lucy half way through.
"Lucy?" Taurus looked around and when he couldn't see his mast he began to disappear back into his dimension, so did Leo (thought I might use his star name now). Lucy magic was not strong enough to keep them out any was now fighting on his own. He never even noticed them leaving. He was too busy fighting the dark mages.
When he finished and every mage was down he turned to Lucy.
"Hey luce you ok...?" When he turned around she wasn't there.
"Lucy? Lucy?! LUCY!" he kept turning around to try and see her. He began to sniff the air but her smell was blocked from his.
"She can't hear you from here." Natsu looked around and saw the dark mage was now in front of him and staring into his eye with a smirk on his face.
"I never introduced myself did I? My name is Shadow but everyone calls me shade." He spoke with a teasing voice.
"Where's Lucy?" Natsu set himself on fire, rage filled his eyes. He was not losing her again.
"She's going to see the effect of the spell one way or another" he began laughing to himself and as Natsu went to hit him he had disappeared.
