Hey guys, I just started yesterday on the 1st of March 2015 and already gained 2 or so followers I instantly think I'M FAMOUS but I was just teasing myself LOL not just yet… JK! Thank you so much for reading! I will probably post 2 chapters a day, if not at least once a week until I run out of ideas.
CHAPTER 3
TRIS
3 HOURS HAVE PASSED
I was spending my time with Tobias, Laughing, Telling stories, kissing and that's about it. Christina came to check on us 2 hours ago to play some sort of board game she found in one of the rooms in bureau. Amelia comes in "X-Raying will start now, your friend" she glares at Tobias when saying the word 'friend' "can come along when we wheel you" I nod. 2 other doctors, Nurses I suppose, come and wheel my bed to a room labeled 'X-RAY ROOM' and lay me down on a cold, metal table. They tell me to stand still which is impossible if you ask me as the chills from the metal is tickling my skin. Tobias on the other hand, is standing in front of the door with his arms crossed staring at me with a serious look on his face, just like in initiation when he watched me fight. I hear noises coming out of the hall; those noises come from screaming voices, probably some sort of injury or loss.
When I am finished with being X-rayed, the 2 nurses' wheel me back to my spot, one of them say "The operation will be held in 15 minutes, be prepared" then they walk away. Tobias's angry/serious face has disappeared and is replaced with a scared/nervous look "Tobias, I'll be fine, these people are professionals I'm pretty sure they will know what they are doing" I say, trying to comfort Tobias which, doesn't work "Does Memory Serum ring a bell? These people forgot things; they may have forgotten how to perform a surgery!" He replies in an angry tone, one to scare a child.
One of the 2 nurses return, reminding me about the surgery, they wheel my bed to the Operation room, on the way Tobias whispers "If these guys make a mistake, they will regret it" I roll my eyes and then kiss him. Tobias is no longer allowed to come by this point, so I watch him walk into a viewing room to see my operation, part of the deal he made with Amelia.
TOBIAS
I am shaking, Nervous. One small mistake and Tris may be gone, for the hundredth time. I feel so tense; I could punch the wall and break 5 watermelons with my head alone. I am sitting down in a rectangular room with a big glass window showing the operation room Tris is held in. I see them put a mask with a tube connecting to a gas tank on her mouth, making her breath the gas. She falls asleep eventually, I cringe at the sight of blood and tissue, I never really was a big fan of blood even though it's what you mostly always saw during initiation.
What seemed like years passed. Tris is all stitched up and wheeled back to her spot, still asleep, like an angel. I sit on a chair near her, staring at her beautiful eyes. She is the most beautiful girl I have ever seen! I lean in to kiss her forehead and her eyes flutter open. The first thing I hear is "Oh hi four" in a droopy, sleepy voice, dizzy voice "why am I calling out a number, oh right that's your nickname!" I chuckle at the silliness in her voice. I kiss her and say "Tris, Call me Tobias, God you are beautiful Tris I cannot believe how beautiful you are!" kissing her again. She falls asleep almost a second after I kiss her. I let her sleep in peace.
Doctor Amelia walks towards me smiling, "You may leave tomorrow morning after breakfast" I'm guessing that the reason she's so happy is because I am leaving. I nod and watch her walking away, her heels taping the floor with each step. I look at Tris again, Kiss her forehead lightly and then fall asleep on the side of her bed.
