So here's chapter one. It's pretty much just Emmett/Bella fluff.

If I was Stephenie, I would not be discussing how Michael Phelps could be in any way related to Star Trek with Brittney.

First Day--

"Hey Bella!"

"Have a good summer?"

"Lookin' fine, Miss Swan."

I laughed at the comments that were thrown at me as I walked down senior hall to find my locker. Although some days I hated the attention that popularity brought, it really had its perks.

It wasn't hard to find my locker; in its general direction, this huge, sexy quarterback was poised, leaning against it. Emmett was waiting for me. I pranced as quickly as I could without falling over, and dropped my books at his feet.

He grinned, and locked his arms around my waist, and I put mine around his head. He gave me one sweet kiss, but we stayed right there.

"Good morning," I murmured.

"Welcome back, babe," Emmett grinned again. I laughed.

I dropped my arms and made an attempt to bend over, but he was still attached to me. I looked up at him; he just grinned back for a moment, before shouting "Oh!" as he realized what I wanted.

Same old Emmett. He's the best.

Holding on to me with one arm, he bent over and scooped my books up and handed them to me.

"Thank you," I said, turning towards the dial.

"Anything for you," he replied, and replaced both arms around me. I blushed and did my combination. I placed my lunch inside, shut the door and sighed.

"So what now?" Emmett asked.

"I have AP History. Don't you have your mechanics class or whatever?"

Emmett thought for a minute before booming, "Oh yeah! And it's not mechanics, silly. It's Automobiles through the Ages."

I chuckled. "What happens when you're the only person in that class?"

He shook his head as we walked towards my history class. He moved his hands to grab one of mine and I laced my fingers through his. They were always so warm…

"Mr. Cavue told me there were five of us total."

I laughed again. We talked for another minute before we arrived. Several people were already in there, so I turned to say goodbye.

Emmett was staring at me, a huge grin plastered to his face.

"Uhh, Emm?"

"Have I ever told you how beautiful you are on first days of school?"

I smiled, and bit my lower lip. "I don't think so…"

"Really?" he said as he lowered his face to mine. "You're so beautiful."

I blushed as he kissed me. Oh my Lord, Emmett was probably the best kisser on the face of the planet! I would've stayed like that all day, but we heard an "Eh hmm" behind us and broke apart to see our principal giving us the evil eye. I blushed, but Emmett saluted him. He then winked at me, and walked away.

I met up with Emmett after second period, on our break. He draped his arm around my shoulders, and I asked him how his car class went.

"It was awesome! The teacher dude is completely insane but it's okay because he's car crazy. And it's all dudes except this one chick—Rosalie Hale. She's pretty, but a bitch."

I nodded. The name sounded familiar. "I think her brother Jasper is in my history class."

Emmett laughed his booming laugh. "I feel bad for the guy. Must be hell living with the ice princess. Wait…"

I rolled my eyes.

There were two more classes before lunch—AP Biology and Agriculture. Why am I taking that class? I have no idea. In biology, everyone wanted to be my partner. Not only am I popular, but I'm super smart. The rest of those kids are DA's, so I chose to sit alone.

At lunch, Emmett and I were joined by Angela, and then some of Emm's friends from football, Jerry and Ben. (Okay, yeah, I know that Ben's really a total nerd and he probably wouldn't play football, but shut up. This is my story. ;D) Angela had the biggest crush on Ben since our freshman year, but he was totally oblivious to her. Oh, such is the tale of love.

Then the day ended. I was sad, too. Now I had to go home, do laundry, and make Charlie dinner. Not that I minded; in my house, if you didn't do things yourself, they would never get done.

Emmett walked me to my truck. I unlocked, put my stuff in, and shut the door again. I leaned against it, and looked up at my God-like boyfriend. He was smiling at me, just like always. His head was tilted towards the side in a kind of puppyish way. It was real cute.

"Did you have a good day, Bells?"

I nodded as he leaned in closer. He kissed me several times on my neck. "Did you?"

"Ehh," he whispered. "It was alright. I wish I could've seen you more."

We were like that for about five more minutes. Cat calls came from everyone who passed by, but we didn't care. It was only us in our little world right now.

I reluctantly pulled away, some time later. "You're going to be late for practice."

"So?" he laughed. I kissed him once before turning around and opening the door. His head went in with me. "One more?"

I sighed, but complied.

Once, again, short. I like, never write long chapters. Sorry. But I like Emmett and Bella together! Don't you?
