I am on a roll. Even though these chapters are short. I really like this one! I think the beginning's kinda funny, and then the end's really sweet. So anyway, this is what I did instead of studying for a world history test.

If I was Stephenie Meyer, I would definitely remember how to spell my name. Which I don't, because I almost typed "Stephany" which is how one of my friends spells hers.

Consolation--

Emmett's POV.

Finally! It's Friday! I've waited all week for this day to come. Not only is school out for the weekend, but I get to hang with Bella. And man, that's sure something to be excited about.

Bella's not like other girls I've dated. Not that I've been with that many; we were freshmen when we first started going out, and we've never split up. Most other girls I've gone after were just hot and well, willing. But she's not like that. No sir; she's beautiful and she can think on her own.

All my friends are surprised I haven't gotten in her pants yet. And I kind of am too, not that I mind. Of course I wish things were like that; I am a guy after all. But it's nice, knowing where the boundaries are. I mean, I'd hate to get to third base and then get rejected. That would suck!

Ha, one time that happened to Ben. He was dating this super-model material upper-class chick and he totally thought he was gonna get it but then she slapped him and went and told all of her friends. He was so embarrassed; it was hilarious. Maybe not for him but watching was priceless.

ANYWAY. Bella. She's coming over for our movie night, and I'm so pumped. This'll be the first time in forever I've gotten to spend actual alone time with her. She's so amazing. I would really do anything for her. Which is pathetic, I know, but I've never felt this way about anyone.

I have ATTA homework. Which isn't a bad thing, I love that class! Me plus anything that has to do with cars equals love. I like how there's only four other people in there with me so I don't get as easily distracted, except…

That Rosalie Hale. Man, she's smokin'! She's the only thing in there that keeps my mind away from cars. The way her silky blond hair shimmers in the light, and how her eyes light up when she gets an answer right, or when Mr. Cavue says something interesting. And when she walks—

What am I saying?! Jesus, Emmett McCarty, you're already taken! You can't just go around thinking about other girls like that. Idiot. Bella's perfect for you; don't mess this up. You know you'll regret it. Yeah. Isabella Marie Swan is the most amazing, beautiful, smart, wonderful, perfect girl ever. Right?

Man, I am insane. First thinking about other chicks, and now talking to myself. Maybe I should see someone about that.

Bella's POV.

I pulled into the McCarty's familiar driveway, and into my special parking spot. On my 17th birthday, Emmett made a sign that said "RESERVED: THIS PARKING SPOT IS FOR BELLA AND BELLA ONLY." At first I thought it was a little weird, but then I felt grateful. The McCartys always have company over, and whenever I get invited, there is never any room. But now I have my own spot.

I let myself in; Emmett's parents weren't home. I raced down the basement stairs, where I knew he would be. The basement held the entertainment room, as well as Emmett's bedroom and car showroom.

"Emmett?" I called. I headed towards the couch, only to be tackled from behind. I screamed and burst into hysterical giggles and Emmett rolled me around on the floor. He stopped, posing over me. (He didn't lay down; I'd probably die!) I grinned up and him, and he stared right back. The next thing I knew, his lips were crushing mine; I melted.

EPOV. (Teehee, I enjoy Emmett's point of view.)

We were tangled up on my couch under a blanket, watching Back To The Future. I was trying to behave and actually pay attention, but Bella was making it hard by rubbing her nose up and down my neck and cheek bone.

"Emmett?" she murmured.

"Yeah babe?"

"Do you love me?"

Random question. I turned my face and kissed her lips. "Yes ma'am."

"Promise?"

I laughed and took her tiny face in my huge hands. I looked straight into her eyes and said, "Forever and always."

Bella smiled and I kissed her nose. "Good."

"Why'd you ask?"

She avoided my eyes. "Just wondering."

"Bella…"

"I don't know. I just needed some consolation."

My mouth formed an "O", and I grinned again.

"I love you, I love you, I love you."

See! Sweet. (: Review?
