Hey guys. Sorry this took a little longer. I've been busy with school (IB is hard!) and I have a gay head cold so I've been drugged and what not. But I finally took some time away from doing notecards to finish this chapter! Woohoo.

If I was Stephenie Meyer, I would not be texting my clingy ex-boyfriend. The beginning of this chapter includes snapshots of the four Twilight books. They don't belong to me. I just write about them, and give people effed up dreams.

BPOV.

I sighed as I sat down in my chair in history. I rested my head in my hands and tried to not fall asleep; it had been a long night.

I had the weirdest dream imaginable…

I was lying in a grassy area; there were trees and flowers and bushes everywhere, and the sky was cloudless and blue. The breeze whipped my hair all around my face, and I was not alone. Next to me was the most beautiful man I had ever seen. His body was perfect and statuesque; his pale skin glinted in the sunlight. He had auburn hair and deep gold eyes that bore into mine as I couldn't help but stare at his extreme sexiness.

I felt this magnetism pulling me towards him. I leaned over, and just before I kissed his amazing lips—

The scene changed. I was sitting at my vanity, staring into the mirror at someone who had to be me, but looked nothing like it. My reflection had brown hair just like mine, but it was shorter and flecked with gray. My skin was sagging and wrinkled, like I was old. The chocolate brown eyes that had been passed from Grandma Swan to Charlie to me slowly closed and a low moan came from me. When I opened my eyes again…

I was tangled up with—Jacob. We were making out on his couch. My fingers were knotted in his shaggy hair and his hands were gently squeezing my sides. My subconscious mind was screaming "Oh my god, Bella, get the hell off of him!" but of course, as all dreams go, I was really enjoying myself way too much to listen to my smarter half. I moved my hands to the buttons on Jake's shirt, undoing the top three as he got mine off first.

"Bella," he moaned, and the scene changed yet again.

I was then lying on a hospital bed, surrounded by doctors, nurses, my father, and that beautiful boy from the meadow. Sweat poured down my face and I realized what was going on as pain irrupted down my spine; I was giving birth.

"Come on, love! You can do it!" the beautiful boy encouraged.

"You!" I screamed. "You did this to me! I hate you! I hate you so effing much!"

"Push!" a doctor yelled. I tried, resulting in another contraction.

"Holy shit!" I woke with a start, sweat dripping off of me. I shuddered; it was just a dream.

So of course, I couldn't go back to sleep because I was afraid of dreaming the same thing or something worse.

I felt myself nodding off, and I immediately regretted getting to school so early.

"Umm, excuse me?"

I jerked to life, and blinked rapidly at the person looking down on me.

A new kid. Boy I mean.

Actually, he looked more mature than a boy; he wore a navy sweater over a white polo and dark wash jeans, which contrasted with the khaki shorts and t-shirts all the other guys in Forks wore. His skin was pale and his face very handsome. He had bronzey hair that was messy but not bedhead messy, and the prettiest green eyes I'd ever seen.

He seemed oddly familiar.

"Sorry! Did you need something?" I asked, feeling the blush in my cheeks rising.

"No," he said, looking a little impatient. "But could I sit here? It appears to be the only seat open."

I sat up straighter, and looked around. Everyone was already in their seats, and they were all staring at me, very quiet. I must have been asleep longer than I realized. I turned back to the new guy, mouthing the word "oh" as I moved my books out of his way.

"Thanks." He sort of smiled.

"I'm Bella Swan," I said after the class started talking again.

"Edward Cullen." The old-fashioned name fit him well.

"Where'd you move from?"

"Seattle. My father is a doctor. The Forks hospital needed another surgeon and he offered to take the job, so here we are."

I nodded; Charlie told me about that.

"Is it just you?" I asked.

Edward shook his head. "I have an adopted sister, Alice. She's a senior too." He paused to smile. "She's…interesting."

I laughed. "I'll have to meet her."

By then the teacher had walked in and class started.

I put my lunch tray next to Emmett's. I sat down and kissed him on the cheek.

"Hey Bells."

"Having a good day?" I asked.

"Yeah, are you?"

I nodded, and scanned the cafeteria. "I met this new guy in my history class. I was going to invite him and his sister to eat with us." I spotted Edward and a really pretty, tiny girl that I presumed to be Alice just getting out of the line. They looked lost.

"Edward!" I called, and he turned my direction. I waved. He smiled at me and said something to his sister, and she followed him to our table.

"Hey Edward."

"Hello," he said as he sat down.

"You must be Alice," I said to the girl. She nodded. "Your brother told me. I'm Bella."

"Oh," she smiled. "Hi."

"And this is—" I turned towards Emmett. He was slurping loudly out of his Mountain Dew bottle with a straw, a look of pure enjoyment in his eyes. I slapped him on the arm.

"What?" he grinned. I laughed and shook my head.

"Emmett McCarty," he said, looking at Edward and Alice.

"Edward Cullen."

"Alice."

"Sweet. I like new people."

Was it good? More Edward to come, I promise. Alice too! So. While you're reviewing, I'll be studying world history and admiring the fabulous hurricane going on in my backyard. Okay? (:

(Seriously, Gustav is pretty lame where I live. It didn't hit us head on so all we're getting is rain and wind. But guess what! No school tomorrow! YAY!)
