Set in ep 5.12, and goes into season 6. Jane stands up to Volker at CBI - Lisbon notices & wants to thank him (in an unusual way). Then there are feelings and realizations - but how will they keep this from Red John? NOTE: This 'M' rated fic is solidly 'T' with a sexy scene marked with 'mmm' before & after. You can skip that part with no bearing on the plot if you like.

Lisbon did leave to be with Marcus Pike but she is beginning to get cold feet. It is cold feet that has her catching a flight back to Austin to sit on a park bench contemplating everything - which is where Jane finds her.
