Success Edward's POV
Carlisle bursts through the doors with a great intensity. His face both exasperated and excited.
"I did it! I finally did it!" He shouted even though we could all hear him perfectly.
Recently Carlisle has been working day and night in his lab. He wouldn't tell us what he was doing. Well except me. He tried for the longest time to not think about his project but eventually collapsed. It was a very funny surrender. He even said or mentally I should say 'Fine I give up'. I had thought he meant on his work but I came to find that he was struggling with not thinking.
Even Alice had a hard time seeing what it was he was doing. Always flicking back and forth between decisions. She was seething that SHE, of all people, were being left out. It made her absolutely mad. She kept bouncing around trying to sneak in on Carlisle and figure it out. It never worked.
Carlisle had been working for a month straight whil on his sabbatical from the hospital. Ever since the confrontation in the meadow with the Volturi, he's been working. He thinks if they chose to change their minds he can use this experiment to save Renesmee. Which I am all for. I love my family but when it comes down to my two girls the sky's the limit. If I had to risk occupying Jane's death stare I would if it meant I could save my girls.
As far as I know this formula can change a vampire. It's like a reversed method and is not as painful. Well it turns you into a human. Carlisle is not sure exactly how long it lasts because the venom is not completely used up. At first it's dorment but gradually it seeps in. Slower than the real process and were not sure if that's painful either. Maybe with expierience we'll know. Well in our cells the human DNA is not completely gone, which is why we still have some of the same human feature we used too. This formula is supposed to revive this DNA so that it can concur the venom and make it dorment. But eventually the human DNA grows weak and the venom takes over again. After that it's an if-y area. We have no clue what will happen or how it'll affect the host.
For some of our kind it would be dreams in a bottle and extremely valuable. That is what worries me most.
a/n: I know it's short but I didn't think I could work an explanation to the formula in without it sounding like it didn't fit. The next chapter will be better.
